Packers 17, Buccaneers 14

October 4th, 2026

The Buccaneers couldn’t find enough of a running game to help their undrafted rookie quarterback win today, and that led to a highly predictable result.

Welcome to rock bottom.

Three consecutive home losses and an 0-4 start. Turrible.

Rookie QB Jalon Daniels showed a live arm, fresh legs and plenty of confidence, and the Bucs have a healthy and allegedly good offensive line, but it sure seemed like offensive coordinator Zac Robinson was completely stymied in the first half. That improved slighly in the second half but nowhere near enough.

The Bucs made more bumbling mistakes (presnap penalties, bad snaps, etc.) on offense on a day they had to be much better around a newbie QB.

A huge turning point in the game was late in the first half. The Bucs had 2nd-and-10 near at the Green Bay 41 yard line and three timeouts in their pocket (a Todd Bowles trademark) with :41 seconds on the clock. That’s only a few yards from field goal range.

Daniels had just taken a big hit on first down. Joe thought a handoff was a given; you know, maul into field goal range and let Daniels clear the cobwebs from his head. Instead, a short pass was called and Daniels threw a pick. The Packers went three plays for four yards and kicked a field goal to go up 10-7. That’s a six-point turnaround. Ballgame.

The Packers and their sad offensive line rushed for 17 yards last week. Today, it was 98 yards.

The Bucs needed to force turnovers. They did get one on a truly brilliant interception by Jacob Parrish late in the fourth quarter, but the offensive coudln’t turn it into a winning score or a game-tying field goal. Joe can’t blame the defense on a day they allowed 17 points.

Did the Bucs look like a violent, locked in, season-on-the line football team today? Joe’s not sure anyone left the stadium feeling that way, including 25,000-plus Packers fans and Team Glazer.

The Bucs are a bad, bad team. And Joe takes no pleasure typing that.

    Bowles has to go.

Savior UDFA, same interceptions, bad o line , no pass rush. Maybe it’s not all Bakers fault, huh?

Same blitzer 2 plays in a row such AWESOME COACHING LMAO 🤣 😆 😂 👏

  21. Alstott40 Says:

How many WR screens can we call a game? I’d say it was the gameplan for our rookie qb but we were doing the same thing with Baker.

  22. Geno712 Says:

The Packers are a bad team.

Horrible O line. Worse running backs.

Got to get rid of our Oline coach Carberry.

  23. Jugheadfla2 Says:

    2 home loses to 💩

  24. Say what Says:

No adjustments on last drive. A packer guy ran free at Daniels on last 3 offensive plays.

    This is malpractice.

  35. JA Says:

Three plays and three untouched blitzers.
    What an ultimate disgrace.
They don’t miss that many blitzes in high school.

  36. Lightning Buc Says:

Bowles is a freakin IDIOT. FIRE HIM TOMORROW

  37. BucsFan81 Says:

They suck and Bowles needs fired and so does Robinson and the offensive linemen coach. All gone. This is brutal to watch every week and if the Glazers would have listened to fans back in January we wouldn’t be here right now.

  38. Couch Fan Says:

So this season Bowles starts his annual 4 game losing streak early.

  39. OLDSCHOOL1976 Says:

Why u would not kick the FG is such a bad choice by the HC. He’d rather give a rookie a chance. Good Bye Todd.

  40. BucVoyager Says:

Jalon did a great job. This loss is not on him. An undrafted rookie can’t overcome unblocked rushers constantly in his face. He made the mistakes that you expect a rookie QB to make but he gave us a chance.

  41. Curse of Gruden Says:

O-line is toast, just like Bowel’s job.

  42. Mike Johnson Says:

A loss is a loss. Its a..BUC LIFE BABYyyyy!!

“So bow down to him if you want, bow to him. Bow to the King of Slime, the King of Filth, the King of Putrescence. Boo! Boo! Rubbish! Filth! Slime! Muck! Boo! Boo! Boo!”

  44. Bucamania Says:

0-4 what a joke this team is

  45. Miller5252 Says:

You can see why the coaches in Atlanta got fired. This OC might be the worst one since Bowles has been the coach. Has more weapons than most teams and can’t use any of them. Screens to Otten is the best we got

  46. Jugheadfla2 Says:

@joe just curious what your site hits are now compared to before the season. You can thank the Glazers for that!

  47. The Big Sombrero Says:

Can’t wait for our franchise QB Baker Mayfield to return.

We would have won today if he was in there.

  48. Rod Munch Says:

Daniels looked a lot better than Baker, should be the starter going forward, but won’t since Baker is signed to an awful deal that makes sure he’ll be the started regardless of how poor he plays.

If Baker’s contract didn’t drag down the team, would actually be optimistic going forward since you’d have a QB that looks like he could grow into something special.

But instead, all we have to look forward to is Baker being a $65M cap hit next year, and a lot more losing with no hope.

  49. chad Says:

god i love being right, everyone wanted to blame baker for every loss, even though ive said it’s more on o-line and play calling than it is on baker. looks like what i said holds true, cuz jalon didn’t look great

  50. Buc in VA Says:

How many sacks? How many pressures? Oh. Zero

  51. J Says:

Trask was so bad. Let’s get rid of Trask. So this was better? We suck as a team. O and D. Daniels won’t be more than a backup and Baker is overpaid and will get us nothing. Oh, and to top if off, we still have our Einstein coach who will sell this game as a win haha

  52. Mr. Barf Says:

I hate humble pie..I was wrong to believe we would step up today.

  53. Bucslosecoverthestadium Says:

Called it. Just enough mistakes to lose by 1 play. Poor scheme and coaching. If the players are where the coaches tell them to be and it doesn’t work. COACHING SUCKS FOR THIS TEAM!

  54. Rocket10 Says:

Daniels didn’t look too bad, gonna get better, but both these teams suck Packers by far worst team we played so far

  55. Bucs are Cooked Says:

Can’t watch this team anymore. Had trip to Tampa scheduled. Cancelled. Sorry local businesses. This franchise isn’t worth it. Will go somewhere else.

  56. Hodad Says:

This would’ve been worse against a better football team. What happened to our home field heat advantage? Another urban legend bites the dust.

  57. Patrick Says:

Daniels played as well as you can expect from an undrafted rookie. Todd Bowles is to blame. Having an undrafted rookie as your backup QB is unacceptable. Kurt Warner and Tony Romo were the very rare exceptions at ones that worked out

  58. Simeon97 Says:

Agreed, I was screaming for fg. Chase much higher odds he makes that than getting 11 yards with this squad.

  59. ATLBuc Says:

Great job Jaylon. At least you gave us something we didn’t have the first three games a chance to win!!

  60. BUCDADDY Says:

Will everyone finally admit thay Baker is not the main problem? We’d played one of the worst teams in the league, and we lost without him. I think we win with Baker. This team stinks all the way around. Kinda hard to play QB with no o-line. Now everyone, tell Daddy he was right about the o-line. Lol!

  61. ModHairKen Says:

Daniels looked remarkably calm and confident out there.

One of the worst OL performances in recent memory.

  62. NJBucsfan23 Says:

I’m glad I didn’t order Sunday ticket this year. Saved me a lot of $. I just had a bad vibe about this team. I attended the game last week vs vikings. It was awful game

  63. chad Says:

yes this loss is partially on jalon, rookie or not. 2 picks. held onto the ball too long a few times. but not all on jalon at all

  64. SC Bucs fan Says:

Daniels played like an undrafted rookie which is better then most of the team played. I don’t think this team wins more then 3 games. How do you not clean house.

  65. Marcus Says:

Baker? Daniels? Not even Brady could win with this line. This is a poorly coached team that has no desire to win. I don’t like seeing people fired, but if this team wants to win, they have to cut the coaching staff.

  66. OLDSCHOOL1976 Says:

Apparently Eric and I watched different games. Deer in the headlights Daniels. Sorry he ain’t all that

  67. Erik with Unique Modern Art Says:

Where is the perusing in the last couple plays when we knew the Packers were blitzing???

We gotta at least give Daniels a chance to make a play. That was ridiculous.

Daniels could’ve won this game for us if everyone else wouldn’t have screwed up at the end of the game and blew it.

  68. BucWild410 Says:

Looking at the schedule, I honestly think 0-17 is a serious possibility

  69. Will Says:

    Fire Boweles

  70. D-Rome Says:

I would have kicked the FG on 4th down.

  71. Billy Says:

    Fire the man

  72. SC Bucs fan Says:

Oh and Graham Barton…. is.not good.

  73. chad Says:

atlbucs is dumb as hell, didn’t do any better than what i’ve seen from baker but you want to say he’s better.

  74. mark2001 Says:

BTW Joe.. if you look back before the game, I said 17-14. And that it could go either way.

  75. Faspro Says:

    Yep, 3 wins at most…

  76. Bokeh Says:

    Den of Dung

  77. BUCDADDY Says:

Jalon threw 2 picks. He SUCKS!

  78. Outrigger Says:

Ball at midfield with 2 minutes left and 2 timeouts. The other team is blitzing. Why not a draw play? There was plenty of time to run the ball.

  79. Kylos Says:

Green Bay signed 3 OL this week and has been awful all year. And we get 2QB hits and 0 sacks. Our defense never takes advantage of a teams weakness, we make it look like it’s a strength. Fire Bowles!

  80. Rod Munch Says:

Daniels, in his first game ever, as an UDFA, looked better than Baker has this year.

    That’s a fact.

  81. Hodad Says:

Send in the clowns. Whoops already here.

  82. chad Says:

as i have said all season so far, losses aren’t completely on baker, a lot of bakers issue are because of play calling and o-line issues

  83. King of Citrus Park Says:

Wouldnt have expected to win with a UDFA rookie at QB. But the game actually was winnable. OC is a complete moron. Fire him tomorrow. The mailman could call better situational plays

  84. Bucs are Cooked Says:

Who would watch this POS squad? Ira, I hope you rip off their head and S&!t down their necks on your podcast. Nice GreenBay home game. Shameful

  85. Buc in VA Says:

They got pressure on the QB repeatedly. We never did. Ever. Really not once. Game over.

  86. TampaBayRudy Says:

When tf are they going to ceremoniously run Todd Bowles out of town? No need to do it ceremoniously, either. Just announce an interim and let’s get on with it. This team is bad on every facet.

  87. chad Says:

defense did its part by getting the interception, jalon, oc and o-line did not do their part

  88. MF Bucs Says:

I would’ve rather seen McLaughlin get the chance to hit that 65+ yd fg to tie. we were never gonna pick up that first down

  89. BUCDADDY Says:

Jalon sucked under pressure. Did much worse than Mayfield, who had to play with the same crummy o-line.

  90. Btafelski Says:

    Zach Robinson sucks butt.
3rd and 16 needing to get into field goal range you run a screen pass.
Can’t figure out how to bring extra how help for this trash oline.

  91. Buc in VA Says:

Diaby. Kancey. vea. Discuss their effectiveness.

  92. chad Says:

yeah i mean, baker is obviously the better option at qb when healthy. just won’t make much a difference if this o-line can’t be any better

  93. Jmarkbuc Says:

Never saw Tucker after he came in, gave the team a spark and scored a Touchdown. Rookie QB could have used his help.

    Bowles is an idiot.

  94. UGotRobbed Says:

A TB coached team made mistakes and lost…no way!!!

  95. Saskbucs Says:

Parrish freelances and makes a play otherwise that was a catch and possible TD.

Patchwork OL and did anyone sniff a sack today?

Packers are terrible. Can’t believe some of you guys thought there was a chance for Daniels with our coaching.

Robinson has no answer for the constant blitzing haha. OL has no idea where it’s coming from. Free runners everywhere. Robinson goes to the screen well too many times and sure enough TFL or 1 yard gains become plentiful.

1 read option run early in the game and don’t see it again. No Tucker, no deep shots. Joe mentioned the passing at the end of half with all timeouts.

Hahaha this team doesn’t care about pressure from their own DL and has our QB constantly under pressure. Genius scheme work from Bowles and Robinson. I hope Licht is wearing a paper bag these days.

  96. Not a good look Says:

    The good news…

We probably lose a lot worse the last 3 weeks if we hadn’t worn our white jerseys and white pants….as we know the red jerseys and pewter pants can affect us in the sun (although we seemed to play pretty well in them at home in the 90’s)

So I just wanna say thank you white jerseys and white pants for making these beatings not so bad as we know they could’ve been much worse in red and pewter and weakened our minds and play

p.s. I believe red and pewter are still our primary colors….or this comment is invalid

  97. DFW Buc Says:

Question for Joe….. What’s scarier Todd Bowles as a head coach or finding out your wife really is a witch on Halloween!!! I’d take the witch! Dallas will eat them up!

  98. Oneilbuc Says:

Draft a quarterback if you don’t it will be the same thing next year

  99. #99 The Big Fella Says:

Carver , Robinson need to be fired as well

  100. BUCDADDY Says:

Agreed, Chad. I’m glad someone has brain cells left on this website. Lol!

  101. purplebeard Says:

I can’t believe baker let them lose this game. Oh, wait! He wasn’t playing! Well, it was his fault anyway! Lol

  102. FloridaGirl Says:

If you were not playing for the Super Bowl, you were playing for the draft. Keep Jalen Daniels in at quarterback until Mayfield is completely healthy. No need to rush the timeline. They have not played anyone in the division and we will need him healthy for those games.

  103. StormyInFl Says:

Team to see what Easton Stick can do

  104. chad Says:

no qb especially another rookie is gonna do anything with this o-line. did jalon not make that obvious to you

  105. Jamesrunningwilder Says:

This Offensive Staff has to be THE Dumbest Staff in the NFL! Let’s see… Rookie QB, what will the Packers do Defensively? Blitz the snot out of him and they did it ALL DAY!!! And yet, did the Offensive staff do anything different to take advantage of that and give Daniels answers to the constant blitzes?!? Sure didn’t look like it! WHY is it when other teams Have to start a Rookie QB against us they look like Hall Of Famers and yet when WE have a Rookie start at QB they look like they’re supposed to…. Like CRAP! What a Pathetically Prepared, Utterly Under-Performing Team!!!

  106. Bucs 95 Says:

Watching the cowboys texans bonus coverage yeah were getting blown out on thursday just cancel the game

  107. purplebeard Says:

Jags are about to go to 3-1

  108. BUCDADDY Says:

You can say draft a QB all you want, but no QB will succeed with no o-line, or at least one great receiver, which we do not have. We need a complete overhaul.

  109. Will Says:

Dallas will do some damage to the Bucs.

  110. Nick Says:

Look at Wirfs loafing on runs, where he used to move the piles. Look at Vita and Kancey look exhausted and have no pressure on the QB. I think our top paid cornerstones quit on this team. Moved them out with the coach. We can trade them for a draft haul. I want watch other games and I have never seen such consistently bad defensive line play. Absolutely no pressure. How much do they account for off our payroll. We are getting ripped off.

  111. BUCDADDY Says:

We will get murdered against Dallas with Jalon.

  112. BucaneroJim Says:

Chad… Baker still sucks. Rookie Jalon did not fumble 3 times with the same pressure.

  113. chad Says:

    agree 100% bucdaddy

  114. chad Says:

your right, baker fumbled the ball while scrambling trying to make plays outside the pocket cuz the o-line sucks, jalon just sits in the pocket for his sacked and his interceptions

  115. Proudbucfan Says:

The cowboys are going to obliterate us on Thursday night football

  116. chad Says:

weird how rod munch ain’t here. he’s a baker hater though, he has nothing to say if baker isn’t playing

  117. Buc in VA Says:

Zero sacks. Kancey doesn’t even appear on the box score. He was invisible. Two QB hits. No pressure. No problem. Say all you want about Daniels or Bucky or Robinson. Whatever, man. If you get no sacks and no pressure. You. Will. Lose.

  118. Mike Johnson Says:

Doesn’t matter if you lose by 1 or 30. Its a lost. The Bucs are who we thought they were. And we will be 0-5 after THursday night. The pirate ship may not recover. White flag time. And I blame the GLAZERS not Bowles. Our owners not only do not know football. They have no balls. And by the way, Dallas just came back from 20 and beat the texans.

  119. Matt Says:

Not kicking is so hilariously bad.

Chase is our best player. He has the range.

So the expectation is a rookie and a bad offense will get 11 yards. And then guess what? Chase would still have to make a field goal.

  120. Buc in VA Says:

    Bowles gotta go.

  121. Defense Rules Says:

Joe … ‘The Bucs are a bad, bad team.’

You’re being too kind Joe. These players should be paying the Glazers for the priviledge of playing in the NFL. I can’t remember ever seeing a Bucs’ team look this bad.

BTW, Bowles should’ve let Chase attempt the FG at the end instead of having this offense go for it on a 4th-and-11. The OLine wasn’t blocking worth a hoot and Jalon didn’t stand a chance of getting that 1st down. A 65-yarder is a LOOOONG FG, but I’d rather see him get a chance at it rather than watch that OLine fail to block yet again.

  122. HeartyDickerson Says:

It’s disgusting the amount of draft capital and $millions Flesh Licht has invested in these offensive and defensive lines.

Packers had 3 guys that were on the street last week playing oline, and we couldn’t get one sack.

    They’re all putrid.

  123. purplebeard Says:

    “chad”
C**k muncher put his 2 cents in on how baker sucks. He is the smartest guy in his parent’s basement! Lol!!

  124. Gus Lopez Says:

Been a die-hard Bucs fan since 1976, so I’ve definitely lived through some really bad Bucs teams. This team ranks among the all-time worst I’ve seen. It’s sad and disappointing especially because it was completely predictable and preventable. The GM and HC have driven this franchise into a ditch, enabled by the ownership. I don’t get it. I gave the Glazers more credit than they deserved.

  125. Bartow Buc Says:

I just want to see a Buccaneers team play precision football, like most other teams in the league.
You know what I mean where receivers are in planned locations and the quarterback delivers the ball on time to that spot on the field !! The offensive line pass blocks long enough for your Quarterback to set up and make a throw. That’s not happening on the Buccaneers offense and that’s on the OC !! I’m telling you that’s the problem the Bucs have no timing no cohesiveness they don’t play as one unit. That’s on the OC folks. I’m sorry but how do you expect to succeed by hiring an OC from a losing team that lost its entire coaching staff – and that is on the head coach !!
I’m in a really bad mood, my Bucs just got beat, I just want to see a Bucs win !!

    Go Bucs !!

  126. purplebeard Says:

    We could have had Coen

  127. ATLBuc Says:

Baker was the problem and the reason we lost in the first three losses. JD was not the reason we lost today

  128. Hopes on 2027 Says:

Idiot sons trying to run a football team

Fire Bowles, like they should have done 4 years ago

  129. StormyInFl Says:

    “Rod Munch Says:
    October 4th, 2026 at 3:59 pm
Daniels looked a lot better than Baker, should be the starter going forward, but won’t since Baker is signed to an awful deal that makes sure he’ll….. ”

Why? Daniels single handedly lost this game with his two picks, using the logic you apply to Mayfield.

  130. purplebeard Says:

What were Baker’s stats when coen was here? Or canales?

  131. infomeplease Says:

The kid did what you expect of a rookie to do given his circumstances. The O line not so much… Disappointing !!!!! Robinson needs to use a 6th O line guy.
On the bright side… coming soon new HC DC OC, and a very good placement in the draft!!!!

  132. BucfaninOregon Says:

Actually I think Daniels was the bestplayer on the field for the Bucs today. His first game and if others showed up (any of them) he might have pulled it out. I hope the Bucs lose all the rest this year. MAYBE, then they will make changes. It all starts at the top.

  133. ATLBuc Says:

The center is garbage. How can you snap the ball off your butt when the qb is in shotgun! Plus our interior is constantlt\y getting breached!!

  134. Buc in VA Says:

    Not. One. Sack

  135. Buc in VA Says:

Tucker is gonna be really good for … some other team next year.

  136. Mike Says:

Did anyone look at the stats? We have one of the worst O lines in football and an idiot OC who has completely taken away our vertical passing game – we haven’t taken a step back- we fell off the cliff that most owners who aren’t guppies would have seen the red flags 3 years ago. Yet you handed Bowles the HV job- you let two good OCs go and replaced them with an inept guy who came from the Falcons of all teams. This has become the 80s Bucs I grew up watching – pissed off every Sunday- while our FAT HC was retained as if it was just everyone’s fault around him OC, special teams coach etc.
Hey Todd- better yet – Hey Glazers! Clean up this mess or the years spent getting these Bucs to win you 2 SBs will be for nothing because you are losing your fans and selling more tickets to roadies. No one will want to come here unless a frag grenade is thrown in the middle of one buc place and all the coaches are GONE!

  137. Bartow Buc Says:

We better hope Baker comes back. First of all, I hate to say this cause I’m a Bucs fan, but this Thursdays game in Dallas may be a very embarrassing loss ladies and gentlemen!! I hope I’m wrong, I really do but I don’t think we can play with the Cowboys, we are not in their league.

    Go Bucs !!

  138. Mike Says:

No you’re right Bartow- the cowboys could be playing awful coming into that game and we will still get smoked –

  139. Capt.Tim Says:

Lmao! All the brainless Mayfield haters
“Except for all the interceptions, Daniels looked good!”

    Yup.
Sums up the stupidity of some people
    And this season.
    And this team

  140. HopeIn1Hand Says:

Hire Wink Martindale. He offered to help the hapless Cowboys. His Baltimore defenses were top flight units.

Firing Bowles at this point is impossible. There is no one available to replace him and no one remotely qualified to promote from within.

The offense is the problem though. Specifically the blocking. Anyone who can give up on these players zone blocking this much would be an upgrade over Robinson. I don’t think the Glazers move on any coaching fronts though.

The only hope is consultants on both sides of the ball. There is a lot of talent to work with on this team and I expect a turnaround one way or another.

  141. purplebeard Says:

Coen’s team is 3-1. Go figure!

  142. Capt.Tim Says:

    I’m just amazed.
When I said this was a very bad team this preseason, no one agreed with me.
Now, suddenly, everyone knew this was a bad team.

I’ll explain it again, now that some of you are catching on.
    This is a bad team.
    Bad Coach
    Horrible OC
    Bad GM
    Bad Oline.
    Bad WRs
    Bad TEs
    Horrible DLine
    Bad LBers

We have a great QB, good RBs. Good OTs, and a great secondary
    Any Questions?

I feel you, Capt. I watched the jaguars beat the bungles today. Everyone said their QB sucked. Interesting how well he has done since Coen arrived.

  144. Capt.Tim Says:

We are gonna get curb stomped by the filthy Cowboys!
First, the horrible Browns, then the disgusting cheeseheads, next the hated Cowboys.

If We get swept by the slimy Saints, I’ll be on one of the skyway jumper stations

Top 3 worst OC in the HISTORY of the NFL

If we win 3 games it’ll be surprising

  147. chark Says:

Folks the coaching is so subpar, it is hard to point at individual players. Look at what Coen does with Hainsey as the mainstay of his oline and the resurrection of T lawrence who was a clueless turnover machine before Coen.

  148. chark Says:

Coen would have taken this team to another level. No offensive line can look good with really bad coaching , play calling. This team has a coaching problem, Coen would have made this the #1 offensive line in the nfl .

  149. Marky mark Says:

Jalen was given two turnovers by the defense, no td,s given up by the punt return team, no rain and yet still gave up two picks and a muffed snap. He was the reason we lost. Last week the punt team lost the game. Before that a dropped td by Hurst. Without the punt team and Hurst We could be 2-2. Daniels is trash.

  150. Tom R Says:

Don’t think I can remember watching a team where so many players are used so ineffectively. Tucker should have has > 20 touches.

  151. Falconrap Says:

Oh, here’s the Baker nut munchers to say Baker sucked because of the o-line. Baker had plenty of throws the last couple weeks where he had a clean pocket and threw terrible passes. Last week he misses a 7 yard out rout. And you think the O-line is to blame for that? Yeah, the O-line isn’t helping, but Jaylon was much more on target than Baker’s been. He was very calm in the pocket as well, even when things broke down. Baker was freaking out most of the time. Baker will never be the answer. Period. Jaylon’s an undrafted rookie and he played better today than Baker’s played all year, despite the picks. He needs time to adjust. Hopefully, Baker’s thumb will take its sweet time to heal. I’m done with that cat. Now someone needs to get that O-line in the weight room and get some strength put on, because they’re getting pushed around way too easily.

Moronic post but I’m not surprised

  153. Kenton Smith Says:

I’m a patient man. I consciously work at it. I’ve lost my patience with this defense.

We had a 10 point lead in the third quarter against the Browns. After our defense blew that lead, we got the lead again. Then we had a broken play by our defense to lose the game. We led in the 4th quarter in 11 games last year.

I watched our defense celebrate knocking loose a fumble today, and giving the ball to our rookie QB at the 2 yard line. Unless you know what getting the ball on the 2 yard line in the 4th quarter with 98 yards to go-then you don’t know.

The offense is getting close. The defense needs a new coach.

  154. LakelandSteve Says:

Say what you want about the defense, they only gave up 17 points today but it easily could have been more. The defense isn’t as good as some think, but the main reason we haven’t won a ballgame is the offensive line. They are horrible and leading the pack is Graham Barton. Unless the offensive line can turn it around we might not win a game this year.

  155. chark Says:

No! the offensive line is bad because of schematic , coaching , playcalling. There are many coaches that would do wonders with the bucs offensive line.

  156. chark Says:

The bucs have all 5 offensive linemen that are better/superior than all 5 of the jags offensive line! What is the problem? answer?

  157. MikeBuc Says:

    said it – oline

  159. FlumundaCheese Says:

Everyone who defended this clown and wanted to keep him at the cost of Liam Coen, who literally put together the best offensive performance this franchise has ever seen, deserves this miserable season. Enjoy your garbage rooney rule, affirmative action head coach. Fans like you are the reason this franchise is a joke.

For those of us that saw this and didn’t want this clown as a head coach, ever…too bad for us, I guess.

  160. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

I wasn’t going to after seeing the score but I had to go back and watch the replay and sure enough the Bucs played as expected. The biggest problem we have is our Offending Coordinator, his play calling is offensive. He doesn’t know how to call any type of blocking schemes in the face of obvious and relentless blitzing. It’s crazy, he’s fooled by obvious blitzes but no one is fooled by Bowles’ blitzes. The defense didn’t play badly, they fit give us shame to win but Robinson simply is not good enough to take advantage of this. Jalon Daniels played as expected but he showed poise that Mayfield doesn’t have. He definitely is a pocket passer who is a very good runner who knows how to protect himself instead of trying to be a fake iron man who gets injured because of the chip he plays with on his shoulder. He didn’t play any worse than our 8 year veteran who has an entire country of swooning grown men fawning on his every move. He played behind the same crappy line but showed more poised and pocket presence than our starter. That being said I don’t see him winning any games before Mayfield comes back.
