How sweet it is!
The Buccaneers put on their big boy pants, played with pride in Dallas and restored dignity to the Tampa Bay uniform, at least temporarily.
What a fun game. It’s been too long. A 9 1/2-point underdog, the Bucs kept their season alive and left fans with 10 days of hope that a win could come against Pittsburgh on Sunday, Oct. 18 at The Licht House.
Yeah, the Bucs are a miserable 1-4. They committed a ridiculous 14 penatlies and almost choked away a two-score lead. But the defense manned up most of the night and Bucky Irving and undrafted rookie QB Jalon Daniels played like winners.
Irving finished with 21 carries for 165 yards and a touchdown, in addition to 2 catches for 10 yards and a TD. A career day. Daniels proved that the Bucs made the right choice in naming him the No. 2 QB to start the season. The young man plays with a lot of heart and is mostly making good decisions.
Cornerbacks Zyon McCollum and Jacob Parrish had special nights, combining for 6 passes defensed. Somehow, the Bucs beat the mighty Cowboys offense without a sack, despite Dak Prescott dropping back to pass 42 times. Unreal.
The Bucs ran for 241 yards!
Does this game help Todd Bowles’ job security? Joe can’t care about that tonight. It’s time to celebrate!

Not kicking that fieldgoal on 4th down was a mistake – but they got away with it. Bowles just had to give everyone a stressful moment or 2.
Either way I was impressed with the defense and offense actually. This was the team we were expecting. A work in progress but playing with heart.

The missed TD was a good attempt at wanting to make a statement, but a win accomplishes the same thing. Either way, loved the mindset especially for an offense that points have been hard to come by for, hell yea go take 7.

Bowles needs to keep the pass rushers rushing and the dbs in coverage . He does too many disguise blitzing we donât vita and Bain and coverage we drafted them to get after the qb .

Bucky and JDs play won the game. Iâm not buying the o line was so great. Bucks 71 yard gain should have been a TFL but Dallas canât tackle. TB struck again in the last 6 minutes. Iâm not feeling so great after how we didnât put them away sooner. Took a lucky tip to do so. Not taking the FG was coaching malpractice which is Toddâs calling card.
