Aaron Rodgers Will Arrive In Tampa Hot

October 11th, 2026

What a game today by 42-year-old Steelers starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers, whose next action will be in Tampa against the Bucs next Sunday.

Rodgers threw 3 touchdown passes against the Colts. It was Rodgers’ third consecutive game with 3 touchdown passes. The Steelers (3-2) beat the Colts (2-3) 34-22 in Pittsburgh.

(For those wondering, Steelers cornerback Jamel Dean missed the game with an ankle injury. Shocking!)

Rodgers was 22-of-31 with two TDs to tight ends Pat Freiermuth, and one to electric running back Jaylen Warren out of the backfield. He scampered 80 yards for the score.

The Bucs (1-4) better be able to tackle and cover like they did Thursday against the Cowboys. Actually hitting the passer would be a great idea, too. The Bucs’ last sack was against the Vikings in Week 3.

Rodgers has a shaky history in games played in Florida. He’s also got a history complaining about the Raymond James Stadium field. The University of South Florida hosts a game there Saturday night before the Bucs-Steelers 1 o’clock kickoff on Sunday, so Rodgers should be in a fine mood.

the kitchen sink pass rush must be thrown at aaron fudgers

  4. AquaBum Says:

Metcalf has been a nonfactor this year for the Steelers. Keep him locked down and expect many TE passes. Seeing anzalone doing better in coverage last game gives me hope they may lock down middle of the field passes

  5. Rod Munch Says:

Since the Glazers meddled with team affairs and gave Baker the worst contract in team history, Baker is winless – while Winston is undefeated.

The rest after a Thursday night game should help. It all comes down to run blocking and pass rush. And not playing the DBs 10-15 yards of the WRs.

Joe, would you mind fixing this nonsense where every single post getting moderated? It’s been like a week and half of this. I’d appreciate it. Thank you.

After watching the end of the Giants Washington game, I can’t really get down on Todd anymore. Seems like every coach is making stupid decisions this year.

  10. BPBucsfan Says:

Bucs are going to have to contain Jaylen Warren. Rodgers was just fine as I remember last time in the Florida heat. Packers beat the Bucs.

  12. BPBucsfan Says:

Irish Mist, yeah, look at Siriani in the London game today. Giving the Jags a chance to return kickoff instead of kicking a squib kick.

  13. Woodman Says:

BP Bucs have very good run defense not worried about Warren? Now if you said Bijon that’s another story ?

  14. Woodman Says:

Can’t sguib kick anymore the rec. team can get the ball at 35 if not reaching landing zone ?

Wake up. Stadium is under construction.

  16. Hodad Says:

Buc95, cold front next weekend. Besides, we’re 1-4 in the month of September the last two seasons. So much for having an advantage in the heat. Under Bowles we also have a losing record at home. The heat has been no advantage.

I bet Mike Evans is regretting his decision to leave Tampa.

5-0 isn’t all that good after all. (They just went up 14-10)

The real teams are 1-4. That’s how you build perennial championship runs.

Winning games early means nothing more than wasting dry powder.

Just ask Todd. Got us set up for 3-14. Top of the septic tank!!!

  20. 2 Thumbs Up Says:

Steelers have a ton of injuries, too. TJ Watt and 2 wide receivers went down today.
They will be limping into Tampa.

We in all likelihood will not beat the Steelers Sunday. Which is a good thing it is time to rebuild and highest draft pick possible would be wise! Now with ten days rest could we correct some mistakes come out and play well? Sure but look at Bowles record after a bye week or long layoff it is really bad. This staff would not know how to use the xtra days to help us. If we do win all of a sudden coaches seat gets cooler not sure what to root for Sunday. MY heart always wants us to win but my football mind says it’s time to blow this thing up.

Karen Rodgers is self absorbed little bit¢h.

  23. 50 year True fan Says:

I am very superstitious and believe you have put a jinx on Bain. Stop with the Mauler thing and refer to him as Hurricane Bain, and I believe he will get his first sack against Rodger’s! He will get it! He has never had to drop in coverage before and figure when to rush. Rubin Bain will figure it out! Go Bucs!
