Robinson’s offense = very bad

Confident. I genuinely don’t believe Bowles is the problem. He may not be the long solution, but he’s not the problem. I don’t see Bowles missing tackles or giving up sacks.

D-Rome- Fair point. I gave him “little confidence” as this has been a downward trending team under his watch. I don’t think he has adapted well to his players’ talents and continues to run the same schemes over and over.

I had to laugh when I saw that Brett Rypien was added to the PS – Rypien and Stick are the definition of 3rd stringers – 30 years old and zero success or track record – NOT Case Keenum – so we have these two along with an UDFA and a busted-up Baker – that is our QB room – Otton is a grade B- TE – the O-line is now suspect – Bucky might be on the verge of another mental crisis – the receiver room is in disarray – so the offense is pretty much in the ditch – no pass rush and ST are giving up runbacks – Bowles has no answers – I just want Ira to keep asking Bowles embarrassing questions in the presser after each loss – I want it to get like The Natural : “Losing is a disease .. as contagious as syphilis”.

First time I ever voted no confidence. There were periods when I voted confident in the past. I eventually made my way to little confidence which dominated for a while. And as stated, this is the first time the confidence has completely evaporated. As a season ticket holder since 1991, I’ve been through a lot. I have seen teams worse than this. And of course, I’ve experienced two super bowls. Given the near certainty. We’ll have a new coach and probably much more next year, we were clearly in a transition period. It’ll be interesting to see how the season plays out now from a completely different perspective than I had just a month ago. Like most of us.

Having zero confidence in Bowles is not the same as saying everything is fine with the GM, other coaches, players, etc.
The Bucs have been sneaky terrible since Coen left. The 6 and 2 start to last year was a mirage, and actually bad in hindsight, because the team drew the wrong lessons, over-relying on Mayfield running around and improvising plays. It also masked Bowles catastrophic incompetence in game planning and game management, all of which became very evident after the bye.
Most telling: when the Bowles-era Bucs played top tier teams (like the Rams or the Ravens), they are completely outclassed at every level. They get out-coached and beaten up physically. Teams with better coaching but worse talent are at least competitive (e.g., the Panthers beating the Rams last year, the Saints beating the Ravens).
Bowles must be fired. Other changes are needed, but nothing will improve until there is new coaching.

Bucs are #29 above Miami, New England, and Tennessee.
Those three teams have at least put up a fight in their losses.
And the Patriots actually have this weird thing called a win.

Fans don’t understand how brilliant Bowles is. His coaching is amazing, the players are performing like they’re coached. Wins aren’t everything. The Bucs under Bowles are great.
