Groin Injury For Rueben Bain

The Buccaneers’ first-round draft pick is injured and did not practice today.
Joe’s information says Bain is doubtful for Sunday.
Joe asked Todd Bowles if this is an injury Bain suffered in the Sunday’s loss, and Bowles said it is. Bowles added that he is unsure when in the game Bain got hurt.
This explains a lot. Bain did not look like himself in Weeks 1 or 2. Joe is a cynical kind of guy and has to wonder if Bain maybe tweaked something in Week 1, kept it quiet and thought he could play through it without an issue.
Regardless, the Bucs have a little depth. And don’t freak out, Chris Brawell is on the Texans.

Todd has him playing outside too far from the Oline…not natural for him. He’s fingers in the dirt right up on the Oline and using his power to get through. Figures, another todd move that doesnt work to a player’s strengths

Find it if you can Joe, the play he tweaked his groin that is. My money is it’s on a play he dropped in coverage. Bowles is the QB whisperer. He’s resurrected so many mid & low tier QB careers with his exotic blitz looks. Todd, you should’ve blitzed the crap out of Watson and instead you rushed four. You’ve been guessing wrong for far too long. You throw lifelines for a living. Rookie QB, washed QB, recycled QB, backup QB, you bring them all back to life. I simply can’t watch your D anymore, it’s too hazardous to my health.

Obviously, we hope it’s not too serious.
But, as others have said, it’s a good opportunity to see what David Walker can do. And AQM.

Well gives us a chance to see more of Walker.
As previously pointed out in a different article, if you take his current pace of production, and made him a starter, over 17 games, he’d end up with 104 sacks (he’s had 1 sack on 9 snaps).

Sounds fishy. First excuse was a sprained shoulder, now a groin. Dude hasn’t talked to the press after both games (in violation of NFL player policy). Someone needs to slap some reality into him. He’s making JTS and Braswell look good.

Glad to see clueless Todd and his gang of incompetent idiots (Foote and Edwards) are ahead of schedule ruining another edge rusher.
For the love of God, the Glazers need to launch Todd sooner rather than later before he wastes the talent of another high draft pick.
