How bad are things at One Buc Palace? Well, with the loss to the Vikings at The Licht House, the Bucs have now sunk to a level that not even lousy Lovie Smith reached.
That’s really, really bad.
Per researcher Evan Abrams of the Action Network, a gambling-centric site, the Bucs pulled off a record for NFL teams in the Super Bowl era.
Not since the start of the 1966 season has a team gone 12 straight games without covering a spread. No one. But the Bucs accomplished that tonight.
Joe understands gambling is not how the NFL is measured. But it sure is a sign that a team is not playing well. Even the sh!ttiest teams in NFL history have been able to cover once in a blue moon. But not the Bucs.
Twelve straight games without covering. As history suggests, even if a team was trying not to score, they eventually covered. The Bucs are also 2-10 during this streak.
That, boys and girls, is a sure sign that a team is underperforming. And boy, is this offense underperforming.

Cannot forget Bruce Arians. He was one of the reasons Brady signed here and that turned out pretty well. Probably would’ve delivered two Super Bowls had it not been for the Bowles Blitz.

Good coaching hides a bad player’s flaws; bad coaching exacerbates them. That is the 2026 Bucs’ core problem. This roster has just as much talent as Seattle or Chicago, and it definitely has more talent than Jacksonville. Imagine if Tampa Bay had actually kept Liam Coen.
I’ll just go live in my fantasy land now.
