Ayden Garnes And The Mess At Corner
August 16th, 2026The status of the Bucs cornerbacks frightens Joe.
Right now the Bucs’ best corner has limited experience at outside corner, though Joe believes Jacob Parrish will be a fine player. Bored Zyon McCollum — he has “a groin” (hat tip to former Bucs commander Greg Schiano). And as tricky as those can be, its unclear if he will be healthy Week 1.
Benjamin Morrison is a walking injury and cannot even get on the practice field. So after him, you are looking at Josh Hayes and undrafted rookie Ayden Garnes as a possible starting corner opposite Parrish.
(For those inclined, you may want to put in a good word with your supreme being that Parrish stays healthy. Light a candle, use your prayer rug, whatever).
Friday night against the Jets in this summer’s first worthless preseason game, Garnes, when the moment arose, proved it wasn’t too big for him under the lights in New Jersey. He had a pick-six in the first half.
Jenna Laine of ESPN typed that all Garnes has done this summer is make plays.
As he has done throughout camp, undrafted free agent rookie cornerback Ayden Garnes made the most of his moment, picking off Bailey Zappe’s pass and returning it 47 yards for a touchdown.
Joe salutes Garnes for making plays when they came to him. But let’s not get too crazy here. Bailey Zappe is not Joe Burrow, the quarterback the Bucs will face in Week 1.
Joe cannot imagine the Bucs not making a move, any move, between now and Week 1 for a cornerback.
The team has no healthy depth corner. Not some, but none. No one dependable.
McCollum is coming off likely his worst season and when Bowles said he was bored, which led to busted plays, Joe has no words for that.
It was pretty obvious, both coming out of college and in his rookie season, Morrison’s toughest NFL battle would be staying out of the trainer’s room. This continued in 2026 when Morrison missed time in OTAs and minicamp. Then — SURPRISE! — Morrison turned up lame (again) right as training camp opened.
He’s yet to practice this summer but he was in costume uniform at least up in New Jersey.
Trick or treat!
So Joe doesn’t know how the Bucs can trust Morrison to be a possible starter in Cincinnati Week 1 unless he shocks the western world and stays on the practice field the rest of the summer.
Morrison is expected to practice this week at some point, as the Bucs practice Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday leading up the second worthless preseason game Saturday night. Joe’s heard this story before. Seeing is believing.
So again, if McCollum and Morrison can’t go Week 1, you likely are looking at either Hayes (a special teams player) or Garnes as a starting corner opposite Parrish — facing Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Burrow.
How is your morning going?
Joe hopes the jerseys the Bucs wear in Cincinnati are flame-retardant.

Have to believe Licht feels he can get a decent corner during final cutdowns, but it’s still going to take them weeks to get acclimated and learn the D. Definitely not all on Licht though, as I’m sure he’s getting input fron todd and the staff re: their talent & depth at the position. Certain the word “potential” has been used a ton in those conversations.
August 16th, 2026 at 3:15 am
The problem is two-fold about getting some depth at CB. First, Bowles is stubborn and probably thinks his guys, Morrison and Zyon, will get it together before week 1. Second, Jason Licht may realize that CB is a weak link and that Bowles is a bit too loyal to his favorite players but his weakness is covering draft picks. The guy will not flip a draft pick for a decent CB, he’d rather keep a day 3 draft pick and take a flyer on someone in 2027 so then the Bucs are basically competing with other CB depleted teams for the few cast-offs which will be worth a second look when the cuts start.
Now perhaps Jason will trade Vea for a decent CB but then he will have a big hole in the middle of the DL and from what we learned last year; Bowles will not adapt his schemes to the talent he has available like good coaches tend to do. Instead he will try to hammer the square peg into a round hole and we will be seeing deja vu all over again as Bowles D cannot get off of the field. Hey jason, swallow your pride and trade for a decent CB.
August 16th, 2026 at 4:10 am
Won’t matter if Morrison Zyon n Parrish stay healthy, that’s 1 overrated CB, 1 small nickel playing outside and 1 with no experience, what could possibly go wrong, it’s not like Bowles defense covers anyone anyways
August 16th, 2026 at 5:04 am
Wow this Joe is back to trashing oreseason games. Did you have AI Joe working the past couple days? He seemed a bit more enthusiastic about the preseason
August 16th, 2026 at 5:34 am
Rasul Douglas signed with Washington for $3.8 million. THAT was too rich for us?
August 16th, 2026 at 5:48 am
The Bucs only have just over $8m in cap space, and I suspect they need it. That said, if they can get some healthy young guys over 6 ft tall who can at least cover, the pass rush will help a lot.
The Jets are not a good team, but they were playing their starters in the first half. We weren’t. That’s a good sign.
August 16th, 2026 at 5:53 am
Jason is having a miserable offseason. I’ll note, the Bain pick was great, but also pretty obvious given our struggles a d line. With all the drama around Dean, Evans, baker, VV, Morrison… we better get to football soon for Jason’s sake.
August 16th, 2026 at 5:56 am
I like this kid he has the skills to be a solid cover corner but his size and 24% missed tackle rate in college scares me a bit.
August 16th, 2026 at 6:00 am
I still can’t believe our “ROH” GM let Dean walk and his plan to replace him?
Sign an UDFA and draft K. Scott in round 4?
LOL!
This defense will only be as good as our worst CB.
August 16th, 2026 at 6:14 am
I hate to be the one to oversimplify this, but if the Bucs have finally developed a pass rush with four people, the issue at corner is going to be way less significant than we are making it out.
If we can’t get pressure with four, Darrelle Revis, Lester Hayes and the ghost of Mel Blount aren’t going to matter against Chase and Higgins.
August 16th, 2026 at 7:12 am
That’s true, and we can play quite a bit more press-man to stop fast completions if our pass rush is getting home just like teams did against us last year when our entire offensive line was out. Our corners (except Keionte Scott) excel at press-man.
August 16th, 2026 at 7:24 am
Garnes was looking great….hopefully he keeps it up!
August 16th, 2026 at 7:37 am
CB1 Jacob Parrish
CB2 Zyon McCollum
CB3 Ayden Garnes
CB4 Benjamin Morrison
NCB Keionte Scott
CB6 Pepe Williams
Let’s see how the next two weeks go. If Zyon and Morrison returns to practice the Bucs should be ok.
August 16th, 2026 at 7:38 am
Trade Vea. Use the money you save on a corner. By now Licht should know Zyon can’t go wire, to wire, and Morrison is a damaged goods bust. Go get your corner now in a trade. If not then a cap casuality vet who can start. Morrison, and Zyon aren’t that good when they do play.
August 16th, 2026 at 7:46 am
What Hodad just said.
August 16th, 2026 at 8:02 am
Damn Joe really a big cry baby. A mild groin injury takes 1-2 weeks to heal. The corners will be fine they don’t have choice. Yes he McCollum has his worst season last year but he also had a good enough season to get him paid technically no different than Winfield. You can’t go into 2026 crying about 2025, ALL corner come into the league inexperienced
August 16th, 2026 at 8:06 am
Hodad — McCollum has played a higher percentage of games than
Christian Gonzalez, Devon Witherspoon, Sauce Gardner, Trent McDuffie, or Derek Stingley Jr.
It is the NFL — all cornerbacks miss games — which is another reason this article is important — that the Bucs need more depth.
August 16th, 2026 at 8:12 am
Jason Yard Sale Licht is ready to pounce. That is what all the top level GMs do.
Draft losers, hope for UDFAs to show up, go to a few yard sale after cut downs…
Don’t pay your franchise players,
And Super Bowl here we come.
I mean if you can’t make the 53 man roster of an NFL team, come to the Bucs. We have a spot for you
August 16th, 2026 at 8:22 am
@ Hodad
That would be a nice scenario.
Everyone is pretending the Bucs will have a better pass rush than last season.
To me that is not an assumption I am willing to make at this juncture…
YaYa is mediocre and Bain is a rookie.
Walker needs to stay healthy and Nelson is a JAG.
I hope AQM can be solid within the rotation and grab a few sacks but there is something “off” with this situation.
The Lions let him go after he got (11) sacks – then the Bucs sign him to a one year deal worth a measly $6M?
Something smells fishy about AQM – IMO…
(11) sack guys in the NFL are making over $30M. Why such a huge discount?
Why did the Lions not even try to keep an (11) sack guy? For $6M?
Anyone else think this is SUS?
August 16th, 2026 at 8:27 am
Licht should have done better in adding depth. But you do not trade your best D lineman . Licht and his staff have work to do when cutdown day arrives. I always that the best way to have good looking corners is to have a great d line that can pressure with 4 .. well bringing in another cb doesn’t guarantee anything and certainly trading away your best d lineman will only weaken the cb position no matter who’s back there especially how Bowles Defenses play. With that said I think the importance of the lb’s is what’s going to be more important after the d lineman. If we can cover the screens and the short passes in the middle of the field along with better pressure and more sacks from the d lineman then hiding a weaken secondary is much easier . So it’s more important to have your starting nose tackle in there than an unproven cb. Not to mention injuries will hit our line at some point .
August 16th, 2026 at 8:35 am
I’ve Never heard of the expression “Cornerbacks Win Championships”
Even Deion Sanders, the Goat of CB’s , although a big factor, isn’t highlighted as the overwhelming difference maker for his 2 SB teams (49ers and Cowboys)
I HAVE heard of the expression “Football games are WON in the TRENCHES”
August 16th, 2026 at 8:40 am
Roster mismanagement on a galactic scale. It has been obvious for months there was little talent and less depth at CB. Many on this site have been calling it out since FA began. Bungling the deals with Baker and Vea is bad enough, but this is inexcusable. Hayes and a UDFA starting against Cincy? It’s almost like it’s intentional sabotage. Doesn’t Bowles have enough issues without a toothless secondary? I don’t get the love for Licht on this site. The last 5 years has been nothing but decline. Maybe that’s why the Glazers aren’t blaming Bowles. It’s easy to see why Harbaugh wanted Licht canned as a condition of becoming coach. Just attending the draft with an army of assistants and a million dollar budget is not all that is important in being GM. Massive failure in plain view.
August 16th, 2026 at 8:40 am
detroit killed us with back up cornerbacks, knocked our best receiver out literally for most of the season. they coach had them fired up to play so maybe the bucs could do the same to the bengals but i doubt it
August 16th, 2026 at 8:41 am
“Trade Vea. Use the money you save on a corner.”
That plan would work if it was February and free agency hadn’t happened, but now!? Who’s out there available? The ghost of Marshon Lattimore would be hilarious now that Evans is gone. Brian Kelly’s son is available but everyone left is not signed for a reason. Tre White is probably the best option but that reeks of the Richard Sherman experience we had a few years ago.
August 16th, 2026 at 8:50 am
Hey Joe glad to see the cb position is now getting a lot of attention from you guys. I have been saying it for a couple of months. I will take it one step further. The Bucs have 1, yes, 1 legimate cb, Parrish. He will be new to the outside postion this year and this is only his second year. McColumn, in my opinion should be on the bench until he proves otherwise. He is currently the starter and may have been the worst starting cb in the league last year. That is what we have to look forward to from the starter. Morrison, who knows if he can’t develop he can’t get on the field. He gets hurt with no contact. However, as we speak he is no where near ready to start. Yet he is the other starting CB. This is the biggest shock Garner may be your best CB after Parrish at this date. Yes , I don’t understand Bowles and Licht. How do they think they can start the season with the CB s we have. The personnel at this position are going to kill this defense. Yes, I have been scratching my head for awhile.
Maybe Ira can ask Bowles or Licht their reasoning as to the CB position. It is definately in a very sad state at this point.
August 16th, 2026 at 8:55 am
@ Bad
“Roster mismanagement on a galactic scale. It has been obvious for months there was little talent and less depth at CB. Many on this site have been calling it out since FA began.”
BINGO!
AMIGO!
Our “ROH” GM has failed this off-season (so far) with upgrading one of the weakest positions on this team.
I’ve been hyperventilating over this for months.
Now T. Arnold has been signed by Seattle…
You know Seattle? The team that won the FREAKING SB last year?
August 16th, 2026 at 8:56 am
IDIOTS!!!!!!!
August 16th, 2026 at 9:04 am
@ Allen
The trenches?
Goedeke is one concussion from being a retired NFL RT.
Mauk blew out his knee in week 2 and hasn’t played since.
Barton is OK but a bit of a disappointment for such a high draft pick.
Bredeson was injured or hurt all last season.
Wirfs is also a walking into the “injury prone zone” IMO.
Now do you want my review of our “trench” players on defense?
It gets worse…
August 16th, 2026 at 9:07 am
*Mauch
thanks auto correct… lol.
August 16th, 2026 at 9:17 am
If Garnes keeps showing he belongs in the NFL – then the Bucs will probably NOT be bringing in another CB….
There’s likely only 5 spots available for CBs this year assuming we have to keep 3 QBs on the 53 man final roster (to protect Daniels from getting swiped off the PS).
And if they try to sneak Garnes onto the PS after acquiring another vet CB – then Garnes will get swiped….
1. McCollum
2. Parrish
3. Morrison
4. Scott
5, Garnes
There’s your CB room coming into this season – like it or not…. Hayes probably won’t make the team since they brought Killebrew in to basically take his place on ST.
Yes this is a very young CB room – but I like the talent level of these 5 players.
Parrish is a stud. McCollum is uber talented and likely to put it all together this year – and Scott is going to turn some heads as a rookie. Those are your starters.
McCollum rarely misses games – Parrish played all last year without incident and Scott stayed healthy in College – so Morrison’s health is really the only concern coming into the season. Not because he won’t get healthy – he will – but because he’s missed all this valuable playing and learning time in the off season and preseason. I still think Morrison has the tools to be our best CB in time – but he has to stay healthy and for now – he’s a back-up….
Yes – I get that the lack of experience at CB looks a little sketchy prior to the season starting. But I believe in this group and apparently Todd and Jason do as well…..
High probability the Bucs pass rush improves in 2026 – and the CBs will look good this year if that’s the case.
August 16th, 2026 at 9:20 am
They will have to throw Garnes into the heat! Perhaps he surprises everyone.
August 16th, 2026 at 9:35 am
Love how everyone used to bang on Dean because he couldn’t stay healthy, yet the same folks now bang on JL for not resigning him. Whatever narrative fits your negative, everything sucks with the Bucs lame takes.
Pure comedy to read some of these comments.
August 16th, 2026 at 9:58 am
@ pick
Sorry bud.
Normally I agree with your takes.
But my point of view regarding this CB unit is slightly skewed from your POV…
I see – once again – our depth is paper thin at one of the most important positions in the NFL…
I do agree on Josh Hayes getting replaced and there will be only 5 CB spots available.
I am a bit concerned with AGs size, durability and MTR but I guess we have to spin the wheel this season and see.
August 16th, 2026 at 10:46 am
I don’t have the all-22 but if someone does (cough, cough @Joe) and wanted to check out the CBs specifically. It would be interesting to see how often the CBs start the play 8 or more yards off the WR and what their first steps are post snap (my guess is a back peddle). It seemed against the Jets they were playing off a lot and according to practice notes and podcast it seems WRs have still been consistently running free. If our DBs strengths are press man you would think that’s how they would be used
August 16th, 2026 at 10:46 am
Bowles probably pissed off the Glazers by drafting his God-son.
I guarantee Morrison was OFF the draft boards for 75% of the NFL.
He may have gone undrafted if we hadn’t drafted him. 2 hip surgeries? Are you for real?
Cornerbacks use their hips more than anybody on the field!
Morrison could have been drafted in the 4th round!
At least the Parrish pick negates thé retardation of the Morrison pick.
But for real. Aguayo, Trask, Braswell, and Morrison?
Licht needs to stop losing 2nd round picks!
They are essential for building a solid team!
Right tackles, centers, guards, safeties, middle linebackers, tight ends, and running backs always drop to thé 2nd round!
Stop getting cute and wasting 2nd round picks!
August 16th, 2026 at 10:50 am
Luckily for Bucs fans, Todd Bowles scheme is the best in NFL history.
It really doesn’t matter who is on the field defensively. Just plug and play.
The results speak for themselves. Might as well call it Title town.
That’s how you win Superbowls!!!
August 16th, 2026 at 11:17 am
Will the pass defense get worse? I would be willing to bet that it is a better than last year’s trash pile of a defense even with a bunch of no names, hard to believe it could be softer than that.
August 16th, 2026 at 11:23 am
The Glazers don’t trust Bowles and Licht talent evaluation skills so they refused to give them more resources to waste. This was obvious to see the moment Bowles was retained. If the Bucs had prime Revis right now, do you think Bowles would let him play man on an island, or soft zone? Or have him blitz?
Bowles doesn’t talor his scheme to the strengths of his players and he doesn’t bench bad players until its too late. So enjoy watching the young guys play this season for better or worse.
August 16th, 2026 at 12:06 pm
Garnes only has 1 year left on his contract. He should hold out with Vita. I’m sure he’s underpaid.
August 16th, 2026 at 12:14 pm
Garnes has been committing PBU’s against all our best receivers and QB’s all training camp. Meanwhile, Pepe had one of the best games of all Bucs players against the Jets.
I’d call that a triumph of scouting. We just *might* be better off than we think. All good corners have a rookie season.
August 16th, 2026 at 12:30 pm
Fanofdabucs Says:
“Love how everyone used to bang on Dean because he couldn’t stay healthy, yet the same folks now bang on JL for not resigning him.”
.
.
I was thinking the same thing. Not too long ago, the majority here was OK with him leaving.
[Yep, Joe was one of them. But guess what happened along the way? Jamel Dean played superb ball his last year with the Bucs and he stayed relatively healthy, *and* the Bucs did not appear to have his replacement on the roster — Jacob Parrish should have been McCollum’s replacement. Let’s not confuse the two subjects, here (Dean/Morrison). Dean was a starter on a Super Bowl-winning defense. Benjamin Morrison has done exactly what the past two seasons dating back to his days at Notre Dame? — Joe]
August 16th, 2026 at 12:32 pm
@ Teacherman
That was a banger my friend…
I agree 100%.
Our “ROH” GM is really just a mediocre GM who was gifted TB12 and his 3 buddies who completely converted this offense and won a SB.
Cool.
Now what?
August 16th, 2026 at 1:02 pm
ok joe that really is quite a scary read…
we all know why josh hayes is here. and it’s not to play corner…
you’d have to go garnes and parrish…which is completely wild with nothing behind them…
scary times in the secondary possibly…
but…………..
this is the one area you sort of gotta give coach his just due…the secondary is his specialty, or area of immense knowledge…so gotta figure coach has this puzzle somewhat sorted, at least in his noggin
August 16th, 2026 at 1:04 pm
they will add a vet corner at some point off the waiver wire, or ask around if anyone wants to jump ship at best buy and play in the nfl
August 16th, 2026 at 1:23 pm
@Marine Buc – Agreed. Licht would be selling insurance right now if Brady hadn’t shown up. He is average at best and his record without Brady? 61-86
Ouch. Ring of Honor my arse.
August 16th, 2026 at 1:23 pm
So Joe has been at all the practices but this is the first we’re hearing (here) about Garnes and/or Pepe ? 🙄
August 16th, 2026 at 1:28 pm
Time is running out and there are no SHUT DOWN corners on this roster or available that I can see!
August 16th, 2026 at 4:11 pm
Still waiting to see Morrison do something like Garnes did in the first preseason game.
August 16th, 2026 at 4:55 pm
Since Arians retired and hasn’t been there to yell at Bowles to stay aggressive, The Turtle only requires his corners to stand around flat footed in a super soft zone and wait for something to happen. You don’t need to pay people big money to do that.
August 16th, 2026 at 5:05 pm
Have been screaming for two vet CB’s since 3rd -28. Same players, different season. Not one of them is any good and Morrison should not even be in the NFL.
Any player that is bored during a game needs a one way ticket out of town. McCollum should have been cut in the off season.
August 16th, 2026 at 5:36 pm
“Press Man” is not used that often in the modern NFL. Teams play some type of zone roughly 70% of snaps.
August 16th, 2026 at 5:58 pm
Press man is useful if you can count on your pass rush getting pressure very quickly. It takes away the option of quick outside completions designed to avoid the rush. Teams used it against us a ton late last year because we couldn’t protect our QB with the scrubs we had playing on our O-line. So we tried lots of quick outside completions/screens to move the ball but corners were all over our receivers instantly. You don’t want to run it a lot if pass rush isn’t getting home because receivers will eventually break free and it can cause big plays.
August 16th, 2026 at 6:14 pm
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers faced their heaviest, most disruptive doses of press-man coverage during a brutal stretch in the final two months of the 2025 season.Opponents specifically weaponized tight coverage to exploit the Bucs’ injured, shifting offensive line and their struggles to generate separation against one-on-one looks. The most prominent games where defenses leaned heavily into this blueprint include:
1. The Detroit Lions GameThe Lions provided the definitive blueprint for using press-man to suffocate the Bucs’ passing game. Detroit drastically shifted away from their season baseline to run man coverage on 52% of Tampa Bay’s passing plays (more than double the 21.4% man-coverage average the Bucs faced from other opponents). Lions defenders pressed the Bucs’ wideouts aggressively at the line of scrimmage, choking off short throws and trusting that Baker Mayfield wouldn’t have the time to let deeper routes develop.
2. The Atlanta Falcons Game (Week 13 Division Matchup)Facing division rivals who knew their offensive line vulnerabilities intimately, the Falcons implemented heavy press-man on the outside. Because Tampa Bay was shuffling depth pieces across the interior line, Atlanta jammed receivers to delay timing routes. This game contributed heavily to a late-season slide where the offense averaged a paltry -0.17 EPA per play and just 5.1 yards per attempt against man coverage.
3. Late-December Stretch (Last 5 Games)During a 1-4 late-season collapse, opposing defensive coordinators copied the Lions’ strategy. By locking up Buccaneers receivers in tight, physical man coverage, teams forced Mayfield into highly inefficient outings. Over this five-game span, Mayfield’s completion percentage plummeted to 56.1% with a -8.2% Completion Percentage Over Expected (CPOE), largely due to tight windows and dropped passes under heavy duress.
August 16th, 2026 at 7:17 pm
I know it’s pre season but..The jets had 190 yards passing with 2 picks Something very much to build on
August 16th, 2026 at 7:49 pm
3rd and 28 3rd and 28 3rd and 28 3rd and 28 3rd and 28 3rd and 28 3rd and 28 3rd and 28 3rd and 28 3rd and 28 3rd and 28 Fu@k enough???
August 16th, 2026 at 8:53 pm
@Joe:
You’ve mentioned Dean as having a “fat new contract” with the Steelers. For $36 million over 3 years. For $12 million a season.
His prior contract with the Bucs was for $52 million over four years. $13 million a season. Plus, the Bucs cut his 2035 salary down to $4.25 million and gave him an early release. That of course is salary and so doesn’t factor in bonuses received but it still was quite telling.
Looks like he got taken to the cleaners last year and is still getting under market rate for a player of his caliber.
August 17th, 2026 at 12:24 pm
LMAO 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 (yet sad inside)
Oh my… The delusion is REAL!
@Steve V… man. 3rd and 28 is living rent free..
Could it be the frustration of the truth, that just can’t be hidden or glossed over for you anymore? Let me just say, you’re Not the Only one that got hit straight in the forehead with the Truth of our REAL Situation… It Sucks! Finding a happy place with this organization is an untenable situation and what’s happening to you is you’re finding it REAL HARD to continue to try to Force “square pegs into round holes!” It just doesn’t add up.. And btw, the train wreck didn’t start last year. THAT WAS the culmination of years prior Coming to a Head…
And Steve, if that’s not the case… bless you anyways. This crap can get to you or anybody. I Truly Wish we were All in harmony and happy with a clear and smooth direction, and Winning Team that was vying for a dynasty instead of this disaster.
@StPeteMatt
You actually brought out pretty good points and helped to fill in Just what happened and WHY.. Nice job..
Some of you… I hope you’re joking. No, I think what it REALLY IS, it’s “the meds”.. It’s clear to see that some of you are headed for a disappointing “Train Wreck” of EPIC PERSONAL PROPORTIONS when the meds run out and the Reality punches YOU right square on the chin! (You might pick up your pitch fork too and start to DEMAND FAR FAR BETTER than the garbage that you’re Most Definitely tired of coming up with “excuses” for!) It’s GOING TO happen to YOU too! And if not, then that means you’re buying “extra meds” on the side…. I don’t know what some of you guys are on but I wish I had some! I’m FORCED to deal with the reality…
Here’s a good one (summed up)….. “Surely Licht will pickup another corner”
Really? licht won’t even pickup the trash! And his ON GOING and “Actual tendency” is to DO NOTHING AT ALL! THAT IS licht’s Record! Don’t hold your breath waiting on jason licht to Get Smart and “FILL HOLES”! (What do you think might have been A PART of the “player revolution” last season????) Do guys remember WHEN the utter colapse of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers started? (at least for ALL to see) It became noticeable right at the “Trade Deadline” last season and the REVELATION and the REVOLUTION “AGAINST THIS MANAGEMENT AND COACHING” BECAME SELF EVIDENT! Don’t hold your breath on a talent influx coming our way….
August 18th, 2026 at 10:07 am
Licht has proven he can draft. Free Agency is his downfall. 50% of a GM is not good. We made a decision to let Dean go before the 25 season started. And did nothing to replace him. This is just bad work by Licht. 3 good drafts in a row 2023
was sketchy, Kancey is a ? mark it all depends is he can stay healthy. Cody is solid and Yaya is ok, Dennis is crap. 22 is iffy with Hall and White gone and 21 a was complete disaster. I think Lichts job is on the line as mush as Bowles job is
