That was the determination made by Jason Licht back in March and it’s looking like one heck of a wise decision. David may not have had a lot of suitors, but the Bucs could have chosen to let him walk, pairing Devin White with a younger partner on the inside.

The first official Buccanereers injury report of this week, Eagles week, has been released and it shows a few fresh names.
Manbeast defensive tackle Vita Vea was limited in practice today with a pectoral injury. Safety Ryan Neal joined him on the limited list with a banged up knee and ribs. Joe already wrote about No. 1 cornerback Carlton Davis testing his toe today in a limited fashion.
Rookies Calijah Kancey (calf) and Sirvocea Dennis (hamstring) skipped practice with their ongoing injuries.

The Buccaneers’ No. 1 cornerback Carlton Davis missed Sunday’s game with a toe injury after not practicing last week. Today he was back at practice.
Head coach Todd Bowels said Davis was “limited” and the team will monitor his improvement as it assesses whether Davis could be ready for Monday night against the Eagles.
“He’s moving around better,” Bowles said.
