Devin White Pops Up On Injury Report

November 22nd, 2023

Injury report.

Joe knew Lavonte David, Carlton Davis, Jamel Dean and Tristan Wirfs were banged up from Sunday’s loss to San Francisco. Now add another key starter to the list of walking wounded.

Devin White did not participate in practice today. Apparently, White has a foot injury of some sort. David, who suffered a groin injury Sunday, also did not practice today. Same with Dean (foot).

Davis (hip) was limited in practice today. Wirfs, who has an ankle injury, was a full participant.

Safety Ryan Neal (thumb) returned and was a full participant.

Others limited were Chris Godwin (knee/elbow) and Robert Hainsey (knee).

  1. Fred McNeil Says:

I thought SirVocea Dennis played pretty good Sunday. I saw they pulled up JJ Russel from the squad. It’s never good to have a rookie and two scrubs at ILB.

  2. Fred McNeil Says:

I wonder if JTS might be better at ILB than OLB. Or maybe that 7th round OLB.

  3. David Says:

There is no way we are going to beat Colts on Sunday with all these injuries on defense when our offense won’t be able to keep up while scores 1.5 TD per game.

  4. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Give White a shot at RB……can’t do a lot worse…..

  5. Mike Johnson Says:

All these injuries mean is, in a game the Bucs are suppose to win against the Colts, It will go down to a cliffhanger with anybody coming out victorious.

  6. David Says:

There is no way in hell we beat Colts. No dink and dunk. Colts offense will score many and often specially with our wounded defense . Sorry Baker you going to go deep.

  7. The Beer Whisperer Says:

The wheels have come off the world’s shortest dynasty.

Now we’re hoping to beat the Colts, led by “Uncle Rico”

  8. sasquatch Says:

Just put Devin White on IR and let him be done. Bye bye.

  9. SRQ Bucs Fan Says:

I was late to JBF.com today. What happened to Morning Cup Of Joe?

  10. DS Says:

Guys have packed it in and everyone has turned into an independent contractor for good film

  11. David Says:

I bet on Bucs to beat Colts . Now I screwed with all injuries . Scoring single digits or ten points in first half is not going to win this game. The defense will not be able to save the offense on this one. Unless the offense scores 3 TD’s we will lose . I guaranteed it .

  12. Red Skeleton Says:

    Fred,
JTS can’t tackle! No inside LB for him

  13. Hodad Says:

Did Betty White play last week?

  14. David Says:

Leave Toilet Bowl and Baker behind for good if we lose this Sunday.

  15. caradoc Says:

White is definitely a “key” player. Key to other teams’ passing success.

  16. WyomingJoe Says:

David: Well, you never seem to disappoint. As they say, once a jerk… Btw, you’d you pick this week to get an injury? Last time it was Baker, right? That seems to be your MO. Pathetic.

  17. NJbucs23 Says:

Time to go eagles model. Don’t pay for ILB. Eagles Dont do it, and it seems to work. The ILB position isn’t one I would overpay for. Yes, I love Lavonte but next year it’s time to move on.

  18. David Says:

Hey Baker fan: I never wish an injury on a player including Baker. Stop quoting me wrongly. You are trash as much as your qb. Baker has been lucky so far playing injury free the way he scramble in and out pocket. He will soon be benched any way as early as this Sunday if we lose.

  19. Bigbucfan90 Says:

I remember a report that said teams that play San Fran normally are so banged up from how physical they play. We need to win this week or it’s over put the final nail in the coffin

  20. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Bigbucfan90, that’s a fair point.

Refs seem to let them get away with more too. Not that I’m complaining. I love physical football.

  21. Pewter Power Says:

White gets picked on when fully healthy especially in the pass game so he’d be even more useless. This teams needs to see what it might look like if our two starting mlb’s don’t get resigned

  22. BucsFan81 Says:

Bunch of soft players that are like glass. It’s time to start talking about draft and new coaches. After Sunday I expect Joe to have those articles ready.

  23. realistic-optimistic Says:

Unfortunately, compensatory picks are based on the contract signed by departing players. Don’t think White lands a big enough contract to net us anything higher than a 5th. Sadge

At least when he leaves he won’t compromise the rest of the defense by freelancing and forcing teammates to cover multiple spots on the field.

  24. Capt.Tim Says:

    Nah, we’ll beat the Colts.
Baker’s specialty is deep throws, and that is an Indy weakness.
If we can find any Wrs to catch it.
Our “star” WRs are checked out, playing not to get hurt.
    Like our “star” CBs.
Seems like our vets, who should be team leaders, are already thinking about playing golf all summer.
Bowles has the young guys buying in. That should be enough.

  25. Pelsbuc61 Says:

The rest of the season should be a trial run on what players to keep or dump. Might as well give Trask a shot. We know Davis, Dean White, Hall and JTS suck so let’s see what their replacements offer. As for RBs, give Tucker and whoever is on the practice squad a chance. This was supposed to be the year to deal with the cap mess anyway.

  26. Capt.Tim Says:

    Pelsbuc61,
This season isnt over. We are one game behind the QB-less saints.
We have by far the best QB in the division. It is very likely the Bucs win the NFC South.

Trask wont play, because his arm is so weak, he cant throw an out pattern to the sideline. He was ANOTHER 2nd round bust by licht. If he had ANY CHANCE AT ALL of being an NFL QB- they would have given him a chance this year.

How can anyone who has seen ole noodle arm play in the NFL, possibly think this kid could play QB ?
He cant. Big deal, neither can any of us. Hes made some undeserved Glazer Millions. Let the kid move on to selling life insurance. Why humiliate him, by making him play- and end up on SportsCenter In a bad way.

  27. garro Says:

Two guys stunk it up Sunday and now show up injured? Hmm

    That reeks of weak sauce.

    Go Bucs!

  28. Eckwood Says:

White is not a Key Starter !!……..
Tracks arms as strong as Brad Johnson’s ………. Where are all the D White lovers
that were saying we were nuts for saying he isn’t good 4 years ago . You don’t draft a Middle LB at 5 , especially one that is 5’ 10” midget armed and heavy footed . This pick and experiment/ experience is right up there with Roberto Arroyo !! At least Roberto had the keys taken before he infected the whole team .

  29. Devin White is Soft Says:

I didn’t know you ego was located in the foot.
But his must be bruised after watching his game tape.

  30. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Baker’s specialty is deep throws?

    In what universe?

Hey BB, how long have you been a Bucs fan? Not long, that’s for sure. Does Jerry Marbreit ring a bell?
