Worrying about Godwin as an outside receiver is missing the point. He’s our #2 receiver no matter where he aligns. We will be playing a lot of 2 TE sets, which means only 2 receivers, meaning there’s not really a “slot” receiver in the alignment… But it’s all so formation dependent, and there’s going to be more motion, and Godwin may start outside and motion inside. Canales never said he’s exclusively an outside receiver. He said he can do both. So he WILL do both. I don’t see what the kvetching is about. Godwin should have a big year because he will be schemed into opportunities. I’m not concerned at all.
