Bucs Expand Control Of NFC South

November 13th, 2022

Hated Saints DE Cameron Jordan.

Look who officially sits last in the NFC South.

It’s a beautiful thing.

The Saints fell to 3-7 today after losing 20-10 in Pittsburgh. That ties them with the Panthers in the division, but the Panthers hold a tiebreaker edge courtesy of their win against New Orleans earlier this season.

Atlanta is 4-6 after losing to Carolina on Thursday night. The Bucs lead the NFC South with a 5-5 record plus a tiebreaker edge on Atlanta, who they will face again in the season finale.

For those unaware, the division winner hosts a playoff game. As of today, the Bucs are the No. 4 in the NFC behind the Eagles, Minnesota and Seattle (6-4).

Pittsburgh ran the ball down the Saints’ throat, with 43 carries for 217 yards and two touchdowns. The once-mighty Saints defense is a shell of itself.

The Saints benched Jameis Winston and it didn’t work. Joe hopes they go back to Jameis so the Bucs defense can smack him around next month at The Licht House.

    How sweet it is……”WHO DAT?”

  2. Orlando Kevin Says:

    I second that Tampabucfan

  3. NEfan Says:

Minn, just blew a sure win over the Bill’s another example of poor coaching. One TO left and didn’t call it on a bad Bill’s reception.

  4. RuKa_44 Says:

….and thinking so many “experts” chose the ‘Aints as division winners and dark horse for a SB run… LMAO

  5. Redeemer Says:

Bucs will win the south easy. It’s about seeding now. If they can go on a run, the #3 is in reach. They’ll need some help. Nobody truly scares me in the NFC. If things bounce their way, I’ll take my chances with the GOAT. The offense needs to be efficient, but this team will go as far as the D takes them.

Do you really trust THIS offense with Leftwich calling the plays to outscore Winston if he’s not playing conservatively, just not to make mistakes? Clearly Payton drilled into him that they had a great defense, just don’t make any mistakes and they’ll win. Now that their defense stinks, you’re likely getting gunslinger Winston. Also, do you actually think this Bucs offense can do anything against the Saints, regardless of how bad their defense is? I do not.

I’d much rather take my chances vs Dalton, he stinks, and there’s no upside with him.

  7. SufferingSince76 Says:

Couldn’t have happened to a better team. How about it, Saints trolls?

  8. DungyDance Says:

Eh, I dunno. Winston is more mobile than Dalton. Would.love the INT’s from Winston, but judging from how we played against Mahomes, maybe Dalton is preferable to beat up on.

  9. Bucsfan13 Says:

I think this Brady guy knows a little about leadership. Calls out team effort, and we respond, especially the OL. He didn’t call out anyone specifically, but we knew he meant the OL. The talking heads were livid with Brady all week because Tom said effort was lacking

  10. Irishmist Says:

Rod Munch- I would much rather face Winston than Dalton. Our defense always seems to have trouble with the Dink and dunk type quarterbacks, but Winston is always good for an interception or two.

  11. Rod Munch Says:

Irishmist – Maybe he throws 3 INTs and looks terrible, maybe he throws for 400 yards and 5 TDs and puts up 45 points.

Dalton is gonna put up 243 yards, and 2 TDs, and 1 INT.

When you have someone as incompetent as Leftwich, I’ll take Dalton and guarantee, because if Winston comes out on fire, you’re not only going to lose, you’re going to get embarrassed. Even if Winston throws 3 INTs, all that means is he’s gonna put up 30 points, and even with 3 INTs do you trust someone as incompetent as Leftwich to score 31? I do not.

  13. JD Says:

yea and the fact that toilet bowles contradicted him early in the week shows how incompetent of a coach he is

  14. NEfan Says:

Ya know what was rewarding to see today? Everything player related is fixable, there is enough talent on this team. Coaching NOT So Much!

  15. Vlad The Impaler Says:

    BEWARE

    Just Remember:
    * Saints are as dirty as a foul Bowel movement
    * Playing the Bucs is their Superbowl
    * Bucs players need to keep their collective heads on a swivel and watch for the inevitable cheap, pathetic, dirty, intentional, bounty-paying hit

  16. Bucsfan13 Says:

@Vlad. Preach!! They would love nothing more than to injury our players. They did it last year.

  17. Wild Bill Says:

The bucs played their best game this season until a shaky 4th qtr. How does Leftnut keep his job? Two pass plays to Brady? Playing with a nice lead and you get Cute? Fire his ass please.

  18. kyle Says:

    haha hate the saints..

  19. BucU Says:

Byron tried to lose the game again. Why is Brady so tight with him?

  20. T REX Says:

    Nice win today

    We will win the division.

What will we do from there?

    Brady…you never know

  21. neckbone Says:

Dang, our cheerleaders look disappointing. I miss the pirate themed Swashbucklers.

  22. Macajubav Says:

Yes, I think Marci Glazer has told the boys no more pirate booty. Quite disappointing, have to remember to put that on the members survey this year. Go back to the short pirate skirts for Christ’s sake !

  23. firethecannons Says:

yes Joe is right seeing the saints lose game after game is much fun and it is a great year in that regard

  24. Buccos Says:

The Bucs are a little too woke for me. Between the female coaches to the male cheerleaders. They are very lucky to have Brady or many of us would peace out

  25. Bucanero Says:

    I second that

  26. Bring back the lawn chairs Says:

The secret is already out about the Bucs defense in the nfl.
Opposition simply installs a qb nobody’s ever heard of, and out comes the Bucs best lawn chair defensive schemes making no name opposition qb look like an all pro. Every time.
It’s a sad fact located in the Bucs archived journal rich with examples, that we’ve all seen time and again, and remains a complete mystery to this poster, but the secret is out to those that pay attention to these things nevertheless.

  27. Jeezy Says:

Cannot wait to be there for that game!!!! Things are lining up and we have awoken. LFG BUcs!!!

  28. garro Says:

    Ditto Joes!!!

Ditto that…. The ladies in the crowd look better than the Swashbucklers ….Are we still allowed to call them that?
