Buccaneers Sign Cole Beasley

September 20th, 2022

Tough day for Scotty Miller.

It appears that Scotty Miller’s rough Sunday in New Orleans set off a fire alarm at One Buc Palace.

Word has broken today that Tampa Bay has signed veteran receiver Cole Beasley, who caught 82 balls last season for the Bills — and 82 balls the season prior.

Undrafted in 2012, Beasley is well known for a being a tough guy over the middle with good hands. He also gained notoriety for his anti-vaccine stance during the NFL’s COVID era.

Beasley, 33, will be on the Bucs’ practice squad, but that surely won’t last long.

The deal has Tom Brady written all over it. Hopefully, it’s more about adding talent than what the Bucs think of the health of Chris Godwin and Julio Jones.

Listen I Love Scooter! With that being said in this league you HAVE to produce! I really hope he figures it out quick, but this is about winning now!

  2. Jack Sparrow Says:

Give Edelman a call. He will surely fit in Brady’s kind of offense. Or there is already a plan to sign Edelman and Gronk around November timeframe.

  3. Bangkok Buc Says:

Scooter better some get stick-em on those gloves or he’s going to be dropping passes from the QB of the Toronto Argos soon.

  4. Maniac Buc Says:

Bye Bye Scotty!!! Don’t let the door hit you where the good Lord Split you!!!

  5. Bucanero Says:

That’s a first down for Jason Licht and the right message for anyone who takes his job for granted

  6. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Those two drops by Scotty would have been very good catches…..but he has to make those…..I think that’s one reason that Brady was so angry……

I surely wish we had kept Tyler Johnson….he was a receiver that could block and take a beating when hit…..

  7. Bucsfan13 Says:

Tommy is as cut throat as they come. I will never forget the quote he gave in 2019 when he was with the Patriots: “I would say, ‘I don’t have any trust that this guy can help us win the game,’” “I’ve definitely expressed my opinion to say, ‘If you put him out there, I’m not going to throw him the ball.’ The whole team is trusting me to do what’s right by the team, so you can’t put someone out there who I don’t believe in. Because if I don’t believe in him, it’s worthless for the team.”

Brady’s sacred trust circle is down to Evans, Godwin, and Lenny. I think Brate is gone after his dismal performances this season. Our offense has been struggling and points are at a premium. Scotty had some bad drops against the Saints, and he also dropped some beautiful balls by Trask in preseason.

  8. ItzOK Says:

Hes made one play in 3 seasons. He just isn’t that good. Cant run routes. cant separate despite supposedly being fastest person on the team and best of all he can’t catch the damn ball. What happened to the rookies that played in the preseason, Can we elevate any of those guys.

  9. Buccobill99 Says:

    Russel gage aint it either

  10. Joseph C Simmons Says:

Scooter is NOT a slot receiver. Just because he’s small and white everyone assumes he’s another Edelman or Welker. Slot guys are terrific route runners. They cut suddenly and are masters at finding the hole in zone coverage.

Scooter is not that guy. He’s a speed guy; an outside receiver. He’s undersized and has limited vertical ability, so he’s not great for the role, which is why he gets so little playing time.

But the signing of Beasley really doesn’t affect Scooter in one way or another. Beasley will be strictly playing the slot.

  11. Steven007 Says:

Joseph, you’re correct. Very different receivers. That said, I think Scotty dropping a couple of balls, albeit tough ones, scared them a bit.

  12. Todd Says:

Any ray of hope that Evans’ appeal could kick the suspension down the road a week or two? Or am I just adding hopeium to my coffee this morning as a sweetener?

  13. Browsing from DC Says:

Gronk is still a possibility down the line (imho) but Edelman is a real long shot. Adding Beasley is the next best thing to Edelman. He gets open, he’s tough and can move the sticks. Excellent signing as long as he’s still in football shape. He could be ready as soon as the GB game Sunday with just learning part of the playback.

I was surprised nobody else signed him within a day after Buffalo said goodbye to him. Age vs money he wanted or maybe his attitude (he’s been known to be a bit of a di*k). Either way, the guy has always produced in clutch situation since his Dallas days.

An extra outlet until CG gets back for sure in hot read situations and “gotta have it” 3rd and shorts.

  14. Cobraboy Says:

    Nice wake-up surprise.

    Really interesting signing.

    Dude has proven chops.

Does this mean Gage is somewhat in the dog house?

  15. jonzey Says:

we should’ve got Beckham insist, i don’t know about Beasley he is another Scotty Miller

  16. Kaptain Morgan Says:

Bucs giving Beasley a shot. Sure hope he’s not a virus in the locker room.

  17. gotbbucs Says:

Unless Scotty Miller gets a free release off the line and doesn’t get touched in his route he’s useless on a football field. Lattimore ran I’m straight out of bounds just by running beside him. NFL history is littered with guys that made one or two big catches never to be heard of again…David Tyree. That catch at Green Bay was two years ago, old news. What have you done for me lately?

Russell Gage has been a massive disappointment too. He needs to pull his head out of his rear end and start getting open.

Probably shouldn’t have let Tyler Johnson waltz out the door, and how much worse can Devin Thompkins really be than Scott Miller and Jalen Darden? We have players that are inactive on game day and sitting on our practice squad that can help this team more than a couple of these clowns that are giving us zero offensive production.

  18. Maniac Buc Says:

Jonzey, other than being white, Beasley and Scotty have nothing in common.

  19. Listnfrmafar Says:

Beasely is a great signing. Sure handed, great route runner and plays the short routed across the middle. Brady has missed a guy like this while in Tampa, I think they were hoping Johnson would be that guy. Scotty is a downfield guy, I think it is sending a message to Gage to get his thumb out of his arse. I know one thing he won’t be active for the Germany game.

  20. Joseph C Simmons Says:

Why can’t I find any information on Akiem Hicks? He was supposed to be the new stud on the defensive line, the one who takes up where Suh left off, the one who makes sure the run defense is like a brick wall again.

So far, Zeke Elliot and Mark Ingram have consistently broken through the front seven and into the secondary even WITH Hicks, and halfway through the Saints game, they announced “Hick is out for the rest of the game”. NOT ONE WORD has been spoken or reported on his health ever since (unless I missed it somewhere).

Meanwhile, we have Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon coming to town, who, believe it or not, scare me more than Aaron Rodgers at this point. Can somebody get us an update on Hicks?

  21. Kentucky Buc Says:

Scotty and Beasley have zero in common other being white and short. Lol. Beasley is a chain mover from the slot. Possession guy.

  22. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    Cole Beasley also returns punts…….Darden?

And, don’t be so quick to discount Gage…….he hasn’t been targeted much but when he is, he catches the ball.

I’d like to see Thompkins activated…..seems like he catches everything that comes his way.

  23. geno711 Says:

Hope he is better than Miller. Time will tell. We could use him this week but pretty sure he will take over a week to get ready.

  24. Maniac Buc Says:

TampaBayBucFan, there is zero chance this move effects Darden. Beasley is 33 and hasn’t returned kicks in 4 or 5 season.

  25. geno711 Says:

BTW, Beasley played no special teams the last three years.

  26. Duane Says:

Its just an insurance move. They still have bodies, and Darden and Miller play special teams. Let them get more snaps and show if they can play or not. 2-0 so far, and if you gotta play GB without Evans, Godwin, Julio, and maybe Lenny, you are playing with house money anyways. Let the Defense carry the team again this week, and minimize the mistakes on offense. We know this offense will come to life during the season.

  27. D Says:

Jonzey and Gotbbucs with the bone head comments of the day!

  28. Tampabaybucfan Says:

If Tom loses trust in you……Sayounara…….just look at Justin Watson……now performing well for KC…..

  29. #8 Says:

In the words of db12: RELAX.
db12 takes 7 sacks & throws 2 picks on Sunday. Bucs win.
    Suh.

  30. Melvin Junior Says:

Beasley was a guy I felt would be a nice signing as soon as I knew he was available a long time ago.

  31. EEK Says:

82 catches walked in the door. How amazing is that!
    OBJ next please.

  32. Rob Says:

No Bucs receivers produce against New Orleans and we’re going to sign this knucklehead because Scotty Miller didn’t? Panic move.

  33. Craig Says:

Good to see something happen, though I don’t think Beasley will be much help against the Packers. He will need some time for Brady to get a picture of his skills in mind.

Scotty is not a possession receiver you could open a bank account with. He is a one trick pony and that trick is not catching hard or over the shoulder passes.

  34. Listnfrmafar Says:

Beasley won’t sit on the bench, he is far better than Miller & Darden. Tampa@ regarding Gage, you could be right he basically missed all training camp.

  35. SufferingSince76 Says:

    Kaptain Morgan, good one! 😄

  36. #8 Says:

Beasley sneaky intel on a potential SB matchup also- Playing that long game.

  37. BigPoppaBuc Says:

This great… It probably won’t help us immediately but it’s a great addition as his skillet is first downs. Miller has had his chances and just isn’t the route runner and chain mover that Brady needs. Not to say Miller doesn’t have value, it’s just that his shortcomings are clear by now.
We need Godwin to heal. We need Gage to produce and we need big time improvement from TEs.

  38. TAMPA BAY DEMON™ Says:

    Bucanero Says:
“That’s a first down for Jason Licht.”
    ___________

    Well said, man.
That is a damn good signing. I forgot Cole was even still out there, and he can really help us alot with the current situation. I also agree that it may be the end for Scotty.

  39. TAMPA BAY DEMON™ Says:

    jonzey Says:
“i don’t know about Beasley he is another Scotty Miller”
    _______________

Again man, as others pointed out above, the 2 players are NOTHING alike. The only thing they have in common is stature & color. Scotty was a wide deep threat. Cole is a classic slot guy who runs really good routes. Tom will love his contributions, especially until we get everyone healthy and/or back.

  40. lambeau Says:

Fantastic news! He’s a bit of a flake, but just what we need–an Edelman clone who got 82 receptions each of the last two years on intermediate routes for a total 1660 yards; plenty left. He’ll protect us against this hamstring pandemic. (Is the training staff missing something?)

  41. SB~LV Says:

    Scotty tips over too easy

  42. Capece is Kaput Says:

This has more to do with injuries than Scotty.
Only thing these two guys have in common is the color of their skin.
    Totally different type of receivers.
Glad Beasley is still around and available for an emergency, but hoping he never sees the playing field during a game.
There is a reason he was unemployed (and I don’t think it is because of his COVID stance). It is because he is slow and about as explosive as Leonard Coen. Watching Cole Beasley play is like having to be in that little waiting area before you have a colonoscopy. You know, it is just you, laying there in that stupid gown, and those shower curtains around you, and no TV, no phone, no nothing, but the stupid voices of the morons surrounding you. I can hear it now. Pass complete. 3rd and 6, Brady to Beasley. 3 yard gain. Short of the first down. Over and over and over….

  43. TAMPA BAY DEMON™ Says:

    Capece is Kaput,
    A VERY entertaining post.
I do want to point this out, though.

    Career Yds per Catch

    Cole Beasley 10.4
    Wes Welker 11.0
    Julian Edelman 11.0

So, actually pretty close to the best slot guys.

  44. Defense Rules Says:

Am I the only one concerned that the Bucs are turning into the Geriatric Squad on offense?

Many JBFers keep bringing up that Suh is 35 and way over-the-hill. Well, take a close look at our QB & WRs. Despite having a relatively young OLine, our offense is starting to make Methuselah look like a youngster.

  45. GrafikDetail.com Says:

I’m not surprised at how Miller is playing. I love Scotty, but he’s playing exactly how he played in the preseason. While Tyler Johnson looked great and poised to take his game to the next level. And he shouldn’t have been cut! Damn special teams, we need bodies that can make plays on offense.

  46. Joshua porter Says:

Need to draft a wr early next year

  47. Mr. Editor Says:

Interesting that Cole Beasley waited “for the right situation” before signing with a team. The Browns, Panthers, and the Jets must have been calling him. I would view this signing not as a “fire alarm” but more as “fire insurance”.

  48. Listnfrmafar Says:

DR, the young guys can stay on the field or are unreliable. Make NO mistake Brady is for the hear and now and the Bucs know this. It’s the best shot at a SB, save the potty training for Trask. Caprese@ Beasly lost his Bills position because he sat out the PO game against the Pat’s due to not wanting to get the vax shot. He is a quick sure handed underneath guy Brady has been using Lenny for and White is to green to step in. They need Lenny for different situations.

  49. Hodad Says:

Eventually this team needs to get younger. Godwin’s injury, Evans getting older, it’s time next year to use a high pick, or two on some receivers. Can’t keep relying on over 30 yr old players other teams have given up on. It’s a passing league.

  50. Bucsfanman Says:

It’s simple really. When our top 3 WRs were unavailable, nobody stepped up. This was the case at the end of last season and the reason nobody is crying over losing Tyler Johnson.
That seat under Scotty is red hot and Gage better not get too comfortable either!

Cole Beasley has produced wherever he’s been.

  51. Anonymous Says:

Miller can not make the tough catch when Brady throws him open. He can make the EZ one but not the hard one.

  52. Sorryjackchuckiesback Says:

Miller had one he should have caught but dropped! But aside from that one was thrown into a double team, and he was mugged on a play that he may have caught and took to the house!! … I don’t think he had such a horrible game as everyone is saying … Brady is not himself and missing so much practice with these guys and all the crap he’s going through is showing in his play and attitude on the field … He’s got to get his mind right because it’s not all his receivers fault

  53. OBVIOUS Says:

You got a smile from me with that one Defense. Good one. And so true. Then again, who else is available?

  54. Harold Marsh Says:

    SCOTTY DOESN’T KNOWWWWWW.

  55. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

Both Gage and Kyle Rudolph have been disappointments, and Snotty Miller and Darden are both too small and have questionable hands.
Hard to believe we needed to sign another receiver, but this signing is proof positive that we are All In for this year, certainly Brady’s last.

  56. Buddhaboy19 Says:

Cole is a real receiver. Great dude too. Should’ve had him in here sooner.

  57. orlbucfan Says:

DR, I’ve been wondering about the geriatrics movement on offense, too. Now, I know who Beasley is. If he tries to stir up any nonsense in the locker room, he’ll get shut down real quick. Bucs are a close knit bunch, and have been for years.

  58. lambeau Says:

    I disagree with Capese.
Beasely may not be quite the first down machines Mike&Godwin are (50/yr),
    but he averages 40/year.

  59. Oxycondoms Says:

Tyler johnsons strength was his availability

  60. D-Rome Says:

This is an excellent signing for the Bucs. In fact last night when I was watching the Bills game I was wondering where Beasley went to.

  61. Statguy Says:

Beasley is not a miller, he’s an edelman

  62. Rotten Amiigo Says:

I hope Miller never sees the field again after that god awful outing. Speed doesn’t make up for the fact you have stone hands. Good luck on the Jaguars next year

  63. D-Rome Says:

Scooter is NOT a slot receiver. Just because he’s small and white everyone assumes he’s another Edelman or Welker. Slot guys are terrific route runners. They cut suddenly and are masters at finding the hole in zone coverage.

Man you said it. Spot on. I hate when people make comparisons to other people based on the color of their skin.

  64. Buc4evr Says:

Miller’s days are numbered. He can’t get separation because he has issues running precise routes. His timing is bad and often is out of position to make a catch. I’m sure Brady was fed up with him after the Saints game.

Wonder if the Bucs activate Richardson against GB, as he is more like a receiver than TE?

  65. Brandon Says:

You dunces don’t realize that Miller and Beasley couldn’t be more different players. Beasley is here because Godwin isn’t healthy and Gage has disappointed. They are supposed to own the slot. Miller is an outside receiver. Some of you can’t get past their skin tones and focus on the actual players… that’s some seriously low IQ stuff.

  66. lambeau Says:

Tom’s been working on this for months. Beasely’s exactly what he needs: quick, shifty, great feet, reads leverage, gets separation, great hands, takes hits.

  67. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Miller & Beasley are certainly not the same type receiver……but an additional WR may mean one is cut……and odds are it’s Miller.
He may be put on the PS and it’s possible some team with an injury to a WR will snap him up.

Still surprised Grayson isn’t on the PS……

  68. CrackWise Says:

Surprised no one has mentioned the Miller is the one that should have laid out the Lattamore instead of Mike.

In fact, Miller was nowhere to be found after the play that his TEAMMATES and COACHES were all up in arms about and DIRECTLY lead to the fight.

Go back and look. You know how you don’t see throwing down? #10

Don’t be surprised to see him right back where he was game 1.

  69. BucU Says:

Cole needs to learn this playback fast!

  70. Bucamania Says:

Great move. Cole will fit right in.

  71. CrackWise Says:

As far as the other guys being hurt.

We knew they were banged up.

Gage and JJ are no surprise based on the preseason. We were lucky to CG back for the opener.

That said, this is not a desperation move more than it is a depth move.

Now we have the best #5 WR in the league. 1-5 IF and when they all make it to game day will be SWEET.

We are right on schedule. Just needed these first 4 games to establish a SMASH MOUTH team.

First two games the D has established themselves as just that. NEXT TWO??? The young OL is balling OUT.

TB12 has only been hit 7 times in two games. This week will provide us some clues as to how this O will act down the stretch. Are they capable of playing from behind and grinding out a win that they otherwise should not have gotten???

  72. CrackWise Says:

Seriously, Scotty total bailed on the brawl that was directly related to a play that involved him.

And before you go saying its because of his size. You know who was right in the middle of it trying to do whatever he could to help his TEAMMATES?

    #1 <– Thats WHO!!!!

  73. George Says:

Cole Beasely is a very good addition . We need guys who have sure hands and catch the ball.

  74. Goatfarmer Says:

The effective slot was missing. Gage is still banged up too.

I was wondering about Hump. He’s a FA – maybe not recovered from his injury.

  75. TOMMY MORDUE Says:

COLE BEASLEY IS THE PERFECT SIGNING AT THIS TIME..,WITH GODWIN & JULIO ON THE MEND & GAGE NOT 100% HEALTHY EITHER..WE NEED A SLOT RECIEVER DESPERATELY & I’VE WISHED COLE WAS A BUCCANEER SINCE HE PLAYED FOR DALLAS..WE’LL MISS MIKE, BUT COLE GIVE US ENOUGH TO FILL IN THIS WEEK TO BEAT THE PACKERS AT HOME..GOOOO BUUUU’S ! ! !..LET’S GO !!! TO 3 & 0 ! ! !

  76. Ash Says:

Injuries have not been kind to the bucs offense when we heal up things will get back to what us fans were all hoping for it’s the second game 2 and 0 the sky isnt falling yet go bucs.

  77. FrankieD Says:

Cole Beasley is a complete bleeping wanker and I hope he never sees the field. I don’t want a$$hat personalities on the team regardless of how good they are (and he’s not as good as a hair on Edelman or Welker’s arse).
Brady trusts no one on this team except ME and CG, don’t listen to the static. I have watched him for over 20 years and it is easy to see. Without Gronk or another Brown/Edelman guy who reads the defense like Brady, it will be a successful year but end in heart ache… Just like the Patriots 2006 and 2013 seasons. Can anyone say Reche Caldwell or Aaron Dobson/Kenbrell Thompkins? Still made it to the championship game but no dream ending. And I don’t trust the coaches to be creative enough to overcome challenges. Bowles blitzes no matter what and BL runs it up the gut on 1st down no matter what.

  78. TOMMY MORDUE Says:

    GOOOO ! ! ! BUUUUC”S ! ! !

  79. Kaptain Morgan Says:

    SufferingSince76, thanks! lol

  80. Listnfrmafar Says:

Guess who is sitting in the film/meeting room tomorrow with Brady? His initials are CB!

I have watched him for over 20 years and it is easy to read. If ME is the only healthy receiver this year, then without Gronk or another Brown/Edelman guy who reads the defense like Brady, it will be a successful year but end in heart ache… Just like the Patriots 2006 and 2013 seasons. Can anyone say Reche Caldwell or Aaron Dobson/Kenbrell Thompkins? Still made it to the championship game but no dream ending. And I don’t trust the coaches to be creative enough to overcome challenges against teams that are actually good like KC, Buffalo. Bowles blitzes no matter what and BL runs it up the gut on 1st down no matter what.

  82. Captain Dan Lawrence Says:

This is a very good signing! Enough said!

  83. RumDude Says:

For those asking why Gage isn’t doing more, I was under the impression he is playing with a bad hamstring, so I wonder if TB may be calling short routes so he doesn’t aggravate it and lose him too. Gage isn’t calling his own routes, and all they’re calling for him are of the 5-7yd variety. At least he’s catching them when they come.

  84. LakelandSteve Says:

If Beasley is put on the active roster who do the Bucs cut? Maybe it’s Kyle Rudolph. I guess he has some guaranteed money but if he is so bad he is inactive every Sunday then best bite the bullet and let him go.

  85. TAMPA BAY DEMON™ Says:

    Brandon Says:
“You dunces don’t realize that Miller and Beasley couldn’t be more different players. Some of you can’t get past their skin tones and focus on the actual players… ”
    _____________

90% of us have been saying the same thing, Brandon. They are 2 completely different players. The reason that it may be SCOTTY that is on the hook to go, is simply because he is now on the bottom of the totem pole (in my opinion).

  86. Cobraboy Says:

Two drops Sunday did not endear Miller to Brady.

Brady expects even every tough catch to be made.

  87. FrankieD Says:

  88. Crickett Baker Says:

I think they can elevate a player on the practice squad for a game without disturbing the roster.

  89. Cobraboy Says:

Watch on youtube “Cole Beasley Highlights 2021-2022 NFL Season: “Welcome to Tampa Bay!!””

I swear, if you substitute Allen for a Part’s Brady, Beasley looked like a Welker, Amendola, or Edelman…

That suddenness in the middle has been missing from the Bucs WRs this season. Godwin had it, but I doubt the team wants to put too much on Godwin right now.

I suspect Beasley was semi-blackballed for his outspoken “My Body, My Choice” opinions. I mean this IS the New, Kinder, Gentler, More Inclusive and Tolerant NFL, and PC narrative IS critical in 2022. And, you know, The Science.

  90. Anonymous Says:

Is now a good time to officially label Gage as fragile. So it’s $10M a year for an IR player in waiting?

  91. Capece is Kaput Says:

Have to chime in more on Beasley. Like I said, glad he is available, but this is really not a good sign that we have to sign him. I am hoping it is for practice reps since our main guys are hurt.
It is like a precursor to a sign that your team may be heading into a football apocalypse. It is like one dead fish falling from the sky and you think, okay, that’s not good. Don’t want to see anymore of that, and then next they sign someone J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and then you know.. its raining dead fish and the season is over.
But in the meantime we are 2-0, so who gives a… Let’s have our Cole Beasley and eat our avocado toast. Once the big dogs get going again, we can indulge in our Bacon/Sausage/Egg and Cheese Biscuits.

  92. Buc king Says:

Gage has been open from time to time..the touchdown to perriman he was wise open with plenty of field to get.
He was jumping up n down waving his hands.
I’m not ready to throw shade towards gage yet.
Scott I always liked him but the last game he showed bad hands n was missing this so called speed he’s known for.

I really feel left out by the bucs staff about injuries …
I have no clue about Jensen return..Smith return..Nick’s return..Godwin return.. julio return.. the list goes on it just feels like we’re completely in the dark.

I like coles production and play style.
I wonder if this move closes the door on edelm

  93. Buc king Says:

    Edelman..
Also Rudolph needs to be cut and gronk needs to be bribed back asap.
    Suhhhhhhhhhhhh

  94. Buczilla Says:

Cool. He’s not a game breaker, but we can sure use his reliable hands.

  95. TAMPA BAY DEMON™ Says:

Alot of people have mentioned Edelman, but he has made it pretty clear that it important to him to have spent his entire career in New England.

  96. steele Says:

Good move. Cole Beasley is a very good Edelman/Welker slot, a guy I thought she should have grabbed a while back anyway. He is the slot that Scotty has never been. I hope he develops a chemistry with Brady.

  97. JimmyJack Says:

I like this signing. Scotty trying to work the middle of the field Sunday was a train wreck. Replace Scotty with Beasley and Brady completes 3 more passes.

Beasley can be a valuable addition helping us move the chains which has been a issue.

  98. lambeau Says:

No, Capece; there are now 5 Pro Bowl WR’s, with a good chance that on any given Sunday we will be able to dress 3 healthy ones. This was the problem last year, and again this year–Licht and Brady et. al. are determined to get to the SB
    and injuries can prevent that.

Beasley Sucks! The only reason Joe’s exited is he’s a fellow COVID denier. LOL

  100. David Says:

Oh I really hope this doesn’t mean something more long-term with Godwin and Jones.
Seems like releasing Tyler Johnson may have been a mistake if Miller and Darden and the other guys on the practice squad aren’t up to the task.
We know Johnson is great most the game except for the one blatantly obvious drop.

Why haven’t any one talked about the fumble Brady had.

cole beasley is a perfect brady type guy…

    i like this one !!!

  103. adam from ny Says:

beasley is just what this team needs…

gritty little white guy making the tough catches because he’s tough AF…

hope he’s in shape and ready

    “I disagree with Capese.
Beasely may not be quite the first down machines Mike&Godwin are (50/yr),
    but he averages 40/year.”

    Actually, it’s more like 55, I believe… Read somewhere (ESPN, I think), that he has 550-Receptions in 10 NFL-seasons.

AND, just because someone ‘chooses’ to not get the vaccine (that is really NOT a ‘true’ vaccine), does NOT mean that they are a COVID “denier.” PERIOD. I mean, WHY WOULD a 32-year old professional ATHLETE in peak physical condition AND with ZERO comorbidities EVER take an experimental “vaccine” in the first place, ESPECIALLY one that does NOT stop the SPREAD… PuhhLEASE. Absolutely, AMAZING How People CANNOT ‘Think’ For Themselves!!!!

  105. Ash Says:

It was never Tyler Johnson vs Miller or darden it was Tyler Johnson vs Perriman and they made the right choice. Think people like the idea of Tyler Johnson but the reality was he had plenty of chances to step up but he never did his hands weren’t realiable not a great route runner and was really slow looked good in the preseason playing against players that weren’t going to make a team but against starters he never showed up.

Please Gronk. The Bucs need you. Tom needs you. The fans need you.
