Final Injury Report For Bucs-Stinking Panthers

December 24th, 2021

Who practiced?

Behold the last Bucs injury report before Christmas.

Mike Evans (hamstring), Antoine Winfield (foot) and Jason Pierre-Paul (shoulder) did not practice today. Evans and Winfield will not play Sunday. JPP is listed as “doubtful.”

Rob Gronkowski and Ndamukong Suh had a scheduled veterans days off and did not practice.

Richard Sherman (Achilles) and Antonio Brown (ankle) were limited. Sherman is listed as “doubtful.” It appears Brown is a go for Sunday as he is not tagged with a game status.

Jamel Dean (illness), Mike Edwards (knee) and Bradley Pinion (right hip) all fully participated today.

For the Stinking Panthers, tackle Cameron Erving (calf), defensive tackle Phil Hoskins (back) and receiver D.J. Moore (hamstring) are all listed as “questionable” for Sunday. They’ve also got key players on the COVID list.

Brady will perform better w/o undue pressure to get Mike Evans his 1000yds (thank you Jesus & baby Santa).

  2. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

What about Perriman, will he be able to play ?
Perriman and Brown could be a starting pair of receivers on most NFL Teams, and with Brady throwing to them, we should be ok.

  3. crazybucs_CL Says:

đź‘Žthe bad: we had all these guys at some points last week, and we lost by đź‘Ťđź‘Ťđź‘Ťscoring ZERO point.
the good: we can’t score less than ZERO this week.
I mean injury or not, what different does it makes???!!!!

  4. Defense Rules Says:

Chris … Perriman couldn’t even start on the 49ers Practice Squad. He’s caught 44% of the balls that Brady’s thrown to him (the lowest percentage on the team BTW). Hopefully AB, Johnson & Scotty get the lion’s share of the targets when we play the Panthers.

  5. Alanbucsfan Says:

The Panthers are also banged up in the secondary.
RoJo could have a big game if the coaches allow it.

  6. Jmarkbuc Says:

How about OJ stepping up finally, when he’s needed? We’ve waited patiently.

  7. Jordan Says:

JPP being out is ideal – JTS could use the extra snaps down the stretch in less meaningful games than the playoffs.

Again, in some weird way, I think this Godwin injury is going to be good. We’re going to come out with a game plan vs Carolina that we should have had vs the Saints and it’s going to include more tight ends and more running of the ball.

Just protect Brady and run the ball, it’s easier to do both of those with tight ends which is why you saw New England commit to both for many years. Heck, they signed the top 2 TE’s in free agency this last year cause they’re still doing the same stuff.

  8. Mike Johnson Says:

I get this feeling we will perform very well against the Panthers. Bucs have more than enough to wallop them. Arians is offering no excuses. Its truly next man up. Buc nation will be watching.

  9. Roy T. Buford Says:

I am looking at the Bucs report from their website and it has Sherman as questionable. Was he upgraded perhaps?

  10. Bosch Says:

Is McCaferty on his usual IR status?

  11. Biff Barker Says:

    Merry Christmas everyone at JBF.

Sadly, anyone expecting OJ to step it up has been waiting a long time for Santa.

It will be up to the defense to win this one. Brady pulls anymore senile crap like getting sacked and throwing picks, he needs to be lynched. We have lost CG14 for the season, ME13 and Fournette are hurt. The one good thing is the defense is getting healthy, plus the O-line is in good shape. Happy Holidays to all Bucs fans. I had an old friend who is a LA cajun read me a riot act. We’ll see. GO MIGHTY BUCS DEFENSE!!!!!!
