Tom Brady’s Quest For Another MVP

November 14th, 2021

Motivated.

For Bucs fans, the second half of the season is to see where the team finishes the fight for homefield advantage in the playoffs.

For non-Bucs fans who monitor the team, the Bucs drama revolves solely around one man. And that would be 17-game-loathing, salad-bar-hating, park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking, tequila-shooting, smartphone-phobic, waffle-grilling, trophy-throwing, roller-coaster-scared, numbers-rules-peeved, helmet-tossing, football-punting, Bucs-Super-Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady.

And more specifically, the non-Bucs fans are watching the Bucs to see if Brady can win the MVP award. Brady’s numbers are just sick, as NFL Twitter personality Dov Klieman points out.

Joe thinks Brady will be in the running, so long as he stays healthy. Joe doesn’t believe Brady’s numbers will drop much.

Why? The Bucs are trying to both win the division and secure homefield advantage through the playoffs. That won’t happen if the Bucs take their foot off the gas. And guess who is their NASCAR driver? Yep, Brady.

Bucs center Ryan Jensen has said there is no room for error in gunning for the top seed. He thought the Bucs must win out in order to have a shot at it

That won’t happen if the Bucs take the air out of the ball and force Brady to hand the ball off instead.

If the injury bug doesnt get to crazy….. It will come down to who wants it MORE …. Which team is more HUNGRY …. WHO REALLY WANTS THE CROWN …. WE SHALL SEE … !!!

  2. ModHairKen Says:

What about Coach of the year for Arians?

  3. Medicated Pete Says:

Dov is a great Twitter follow. He seems to love posting good stuff about the Bucs & especially TB12. And lets see if the rest of the team performs how Jensen feels. #LFG

  4. Redsox/Bucs1 Says:

I think 8-1 will be good enough for the top seed. Hopefully the boys are ready to push hard for it. Would love to see Brady break all the season passing records on his way to another MVP. But above all else, I want to see the Bucs healthy for the playoffs.

  5. Bucs Win Says:

When has an Arians team ever taken the air out of the football and ran? In the last three games, Carolina twice and the horrific Jets, Brady throws 14 touchdowns and and 1,300 yards he’ll wrap up the MVP.

  6. Macdaddy Says:

Brady doesn’t give two rats for an MVP. He wants number 8. No one has won an MVP and Super Bowl in the same season since 1999. True, I’m sure he’d like to do that, but he only cares about the ring

  7. Listnfrmafar Says:

Jensen is right, if Bucs O goes conservative then they open themselves up to relying on the D and we’ve all seen how that works.

  8. VMA Says:

BUCS are 2d worst in yards penalized. That’s coaching. They win because they have great talent and Brady to lead them. Look what they did before Brady. He finally got Arians to change the offense at halftime of the first Atlanta game last year. You can look it up. They win in spite of their coaching, not because of it.

  9. JimmyJack Says:

VMA. Yes, during a 15 minute halftime Brady installed a brand new offense. Sounds ridiculous til you realize Brady is the greatest ever. With him all is possible.

It doesnt matter if its a brand new offense nobody practiced. Brady alone can overcome anything. I bet Brady draws up brand new plays during TV timeouts……At this point we shouldnt even bother preparing. Just let Brady figure it all out on the fly. Brady isnt man, he is God.
