Five “Questionable” On Injury Report

October 29th, 2021

Friday update.

As Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians said earlier today, only one player is ruled is out for Sunday’s game at New Orleans. And that of course is furniture-tossing, bicycle-throwing receiver Antonio Brown.

The Bucs, however, have five players listed as questionable: Lavonte David, Dee Delaney, foot-rubbing, car-littering film guru Rob Gronkowski, Jason Pierre-Paul and Richard Sherman.

Of the five, only Delaney and JPP did not practice Friday. David was a full participant. Gronk and Sherman were limited.

For the slimy Saints, Wing-T quarterback Taysom Hill, guard Andrus Peat, defensive end Payton Turner and running back Dwayne Washington are all out.

And for those who keep asking Joe, Carlton Davis, Scott Miller and Sean Murphy-Bunting are on injured reserve, so Arians isn’t referring to them.

The Saints will have someone else ready to run the trick play. Defense better be ready for it. It will probably be obvious as always.

  2. Listnfrmafar Says:

Sit JPP until after the bi week. Gronk maybe a decoy.

  3. PassingThru Says:

Dee Delaney seems the least likely of the five questionable to play. He hasn’t practiced all week.

  4. mark2001 Says:

Unless the Docs say that playing this week would increase the chance of injury for the rest of the season, I’d say, let them all able play. This is one of the biggest games of the year…. no time to try to skate into the bye. Heck of a difference between a half game division lead, with them being able to tie you during the bye week and momentum, and a 2 1/2 game division lead with momentum.

  5. Bird Says:

    Agree

This is probably second biggest game we have this year
    Bills being obvious

    Need are studs

  6. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

Andrus Peat is the tackle that keeps Tristan Wirfs out of the Pro Bowl.
He is their best Tackle, and Jameis will feel his loss.
The Saints play 2 deep safeties a lot, and so they are vulnerable to short passes, and the running game.
Mike Evans will get neutralized by Lattimore and one of his safeties, so Chris Godwin will carry the load Sunday.
Look for Chris to have a great game Sunday!

  7. SlyPirate Says:

    mark2001 … Go all in!

Win this game and the NFCS is Tampa’s for the taking.

  8. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    Andrus Peat is a Guard…….

  9. Bird Says:

Ramczyk and armstead are their tackles

Peat is their guard who has made probowls

  10. JimmyJack Says:

Gronk is the big one for me. Saints are strugglings to put up points. We need as much firepower as possible to get them playing from behind. Do that and avoid turnovers and I dont see how they can beat us.

  11. Bird Says:

    Our. Not are

  12. SOEbuc Says:

Jesus Joe these fake arse Bucs fans are so fast to dump on on Mike Evans after his prior 3 TD game. Hope he shoves it up Latimore and these so called fans cornhole.

  13. Leighroy Says:

Who is dumping Mike Evans? Chris is an OG who is far from down on ME13, but perhaps calling it like he sees it. I can’t disagree with his take, and I love Mike, he’s on my fantasy football team.

Lattimore has shut him down consistently. In 13 games, Evans only has 45 catches on 82 targets. That’s like 3.5 catches a game and barely over 50% completion rate. Most of those were with Jameis throwing to him, to be fair, but it’s not a hater take to know the strengths and weaknesses of a matchup vs a division opponent.

Or we could just be fake arse Bucs fans with irrational delusions and rosy colored sunglasses?

  14. Jmarkbuc Says:

Lattimore always gets in Mike’s head.. hopefully TB12 can get him past that…

  15. Kobe Faker Says:

“Key for Bucs is to get JW in 3rd and long

Than come with the delay blitz with winfield and DW

LDavid must play so DW can bltz more during the game

    LDavid out means Daints win

    DW cant cover Kamara”

  16. SOEbuc Says:

    Leigroy

Ppl are talking Drew Breese with Jameis Winston.

  17. Rod Munch Says:

I had read that Taysom Hill might be back this week, and we know his history of hurting the Bucs, so glad he’s not going to be there.

Bucs need this win, and I really do not think it’s going to be easy. If the Bucs lose this game they drop to the #6 seed and would be 2nd in the division. This isn’t a must win, but it’s a big win.

The Bucs are 0-7 in their last 7 regular season games vs the Saints, and the playoff win came in a game when they had a QB that couldn’t throw more than 11 yards downfield.

  18. Rod Munch Says:

Evans, in game one last year, his box score is 1 catch, 2 yards, 1 TD. Man, what an awful game… except that’s fake news.

The Saints had PI calls against Evans, of 22 yards, 18 yards and 45 yards – that’s 85 yards.

Add those to Evan’s box score and his line is 4 rec, 87 yards, 1 TD.

Anyone down on Evans is literally an idiot.

  19. AlabamaBucsFan Says:

Hey Joe, can you provide us more on Carlton Davis, Scott Miller and Sean Murphy-Bunting? Meaning, when do they come off injured reserve?
