“It’s Time To Clean It Up”

October 29th, 2021

Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians.

Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians can live with post-snap penalties, to a degree.

Hey, they happen. Just keep them to a minimum and don’t let them lead to points for the opposition and Arians can tolerate them.

Pre-snap penalties? Arians’ tolerance for them — limited to begin with — has evaporated.

Arians has seen enough presnap penalties in road games and Arians said today it’s high time for those to be eliminated, especially given who the Bucs face Sunday.

“Yeah, that’s the thing,” Arians began about presnap penalties. “We didn’t do it very well on the road so far, and it’s going to be loud.

“It’s time to clean it up. The post-snap penalties, they happen, but the pre-snap [penalties] have got to be eliminated. You can’t go into a game against these guys and beat yourself.”

Arians is right. He went on and on about how the Saints defense is the “best 11” his offense may face all year. He said Los Angeles has a very good defense but as far as 11 talented players on one side of the ball, Arians said no one the Bucs will face will be better than New Orleans.

Against that defense, the Bucs cannot try to play any Halloween tricks and hope to get away with them.

    Hmmmm…..

I wonder who has the most pre snap penalties on offense?

    It’s a real Durable mystery…..

  2. DoooshLaRue Says:

I know the Defense has had quite a few offsides penalties this year, so I’m sure BA is referring to that as well…….

However, a quick and not so surprising check of the OL pre snap penalties this year shows:

    Wirfs-1
    Cappa-0
    Jensen-0
    Marpet-1

    Durable Donnie-3

It must be that he’s so anxious to do his job well. I mean, you’d think a first or second year player would be making mistakes like this wouldn’t you?

    Joe in Michigan……

    Thoughts?

I have been reading the New Orleans Media. They honestly believe that they are the best team in the NFC, and us beating them and getting in the Super Bowl was a Fluke!
    Seriously!
So you can bet the fans will be geeked, and it will be LOUD in the Dome.
Unlike our Fans, with that well meaning but ineffective Tampa, than Bay, Chant that shuts up an entire half of the Stadium between Tampa and Bay, Saints Fans scream All The Time. I am sure Arians will have them practicing with the Noise Generators.

Chris, part of the reason I have the slimy aints as my #1 most hated team. Between loudmouth Jordan and Slantboy, there’s so many players to just despise.

  6. DoooshLaRue Says:

    BuccaneerButters,

All who you mentioned and I’ll add Sean “butthole lips” Payton to that list.
    Puckered lips d!ckhead.
He held the crown until Belichick’s son won the contest a couple of weeks ago!
That was a new level of disgusting.

  7. BuccaneerButters Says:

    Lol good point!

  8. Buc and roll Says:

Saints are about as good as their record

    no better
    no worse

    same with Tampa

    And on Monday

when the bucks are 7 and 1

and the saints are 4 and 3

    the same will be true

  9. Listnfrmafar Says:

BA talks out of both sides of his mouth, tells his team it’s OK to go offsides now it’s not. My college coach would make the person who went offside in practice do 25 push ups. The same applied for offense. Guess what? Very few illegal procedure and offside calls in games. Common sense, there is NO such thing as a good penalty.

  10. The Deflator Says:

    Listn

    25 push-ups? Wow, that’s a pretty harsh penalty.

  11. E.V. Says:

JENSEN HAS A TEMPER PROBLEM. ALSO AGAINST EAGLES WE GAVE THEM 2 TOUCHDOWNS IDK WHO WAS COVERING THAT RECEIVER BUT 2—- 45 YARD PENALTIES??? EAGLES WOULD OF SCORED 0 IF IT WASN’T FOR THAT.
