Disturbing News On Bucs Injury Report

Bad news

Jason Pierre-Paul did not practice today, per the official Bucs injury report. He is listed with a knee issue and was limited yesterday.

Joe considers that a bad sign now considering JPP has had knee issues in the past, including offseason knee surgery this year.

Justin Watson was out again with his bad shoulder. Yesterday, Bucco Bruce Arians said he was day-to-day. Scotty Miller again was limited (hip/groin), as was Donovan Smith (knee).

Never count out JPP.. Look how fast he came back from a broken neck.

  2. Tampabaybucfan Says:

I’ll be concerned with injuries on game day……

  3. Alexander Nascimento Says:

Apparently he usually takes Thursday’s off
Tomorrow will be interesting to see how he goes

  4. EA Says:

Jpp will be good to go on Sunday, they’re just playing it safe.

  5. LUVMYBUCS Says:

    Clay Matthews III?

  6. ModHairKen Says:

No worries. Play the rookie DT and move Gholston outside.

  7. ModHairKen Says:

    . . . and sign Clay Matthews.

  8. Pewter Power Says:

If JPP doesn’t play in the game I’d be ok because that would be playing it safe and making sure he’s good towards the end of the season.

I would rather know what depth at D end is like now rather than lose him later and panic because I haven’t seen the other guys play

  9. Bucsfan951 Says:

Thursday light day. He’s a soldier. He’ll be ready to roll Sunday 😉

  10. Wesley Says:

Give him Sunday off, we’ll need him.

  11. Mitch Says:

Thursday is his scheduled maintenance day. They just had to list him as DNP because he is dealing with an injury

  12. james west Says:

give him this sunday off, we should be able to handle the broncos with all their injuries, and if not, well then we don’t deserve to even think we have a prayers chance in hell of making the post season

  13. Issac haggins Says:

JPP prob shouldn’t play at all and I would be surprised if he does . Lil Scotty is about to find out how important being dependable and making catches is !!! Don’t be surprised if he goes from a Brady favorite to inactive and headed towards the street next week , if he doesn’t play and play well this week !!

  14. JimBuc2 Says:

Let’s see what Anthony Nelson can do. 6’7″ is a big dude. Let him have a few series and save JPP for later when we need him.

  15. SOEbuc Says:

JPP always takes older guy days prior Sunday even when he’s not injured. Evan if he can’t go Sunday, I’m not sweating until a statement has been made that it’s serious.

  16. SB Says:

Joe……you said in yesterday’s article that Watson had a bum wrist.

  17. Caleb Lee Says:

If we get a nice early lead hopefully we can rest him. I know anything can happen on any given Sunday but I’m not worried about the Broncos at the moment.

Although being a Bucs fan for quite some time I don’t necessarily feel comfort in facing a backup QB.. We have been burned many times.. by the backup..

  18. Memphis Says:

His daughter had her first birthday today.

  19. Cobraboy Says:

JPP practiced Wednesday, which is install day. That’s an important day. Thursday he may have off.

Look for him to practice on Friday and be ready to go Sunday.

No team should be taken lightly. I would caution the casuals who think a victory in Denver is a fait accompli. That’s when a team gets whacked to the L column.

  20. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

No need to panic. He gets rest days and they like to list a reason to throw teams off.

  21. Bush's Coke Spoon Says:

    Memphis Says:
“His daughter had her first birthday today.”

So he was scrumping with a broken neck? I’m sure that violates some kind of contract clause!
