Jameis & The Pick-6 Club — Part II

November 17th, 2019

Terry Bradshaw, Geno Smith, Neil O’Donnell and Alex Smith, make some room for America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston!

Those guys have have all thrown eight career pick-6s. Jameis threw No. 8 today, his fourth of the 2019 season.

In total, per Pro Football Reference, Jameis is tied with 14 other QBs for eight career picks returned for touchdowns.

He’s now two behind Cam Newton and halfway to Matt Ryan, who has 16. Mighty Drew Brees has thrown 27, which is tied with Peyton Manning. Brett Favre is the all-time leader with 32, three ahead of Dan Marino. Yes, Marino threw 29 pick-6s.

On the flip side, Hall of Famer Steve Young threw just four pick-6s in 143 starts. Russell Wilson has just three since entering the league as a starter in 2012.

Josh Freeman and Marcus Mariota each have six.

Maybe, just maybe, Jameis is finished with the whole pick-6 thing for this season.

The video below provides an end zone look at today’s costly giveaway. Joe’s got it cued up.

  1. DB55 Says:

I think JayMiss is done with the buccaneers

  2. Wombat Says:

An all while he is only 25!!! He will beat them all at this pace….

  3. Im tired and 87 is right Says:

Hmm and tell me did any of those guys have a defense that was at least better then middle of the pack their entire careers?

  4. Im tired and 87 is right Says:

You statistical fools running off talent without no reason just straight up madden numbers to go off. Lmao

  5. DB55 Says:

He really doesn’t have a choice. He can’t continue to take those types of beatings every game. He maybe the youngest ab in the league but he will have long-term health issues trying to play behind that line.

Why do you think the Bucs only ran 4 run plays? They know they can’t block. And leaving jameis in the game after the pick 6 was completely irresponsible by Arains.

  6. Jim Says:

Leads the league all-time in excuses…

  7. Jean Lafitte Says:

    @low energy

what does defense have to do with throwing pick 6’s?

  8. Simeon Says:

Weren’t his first two throws in the nfl pick 6?

  9. Ndog Says:

If I’m Jameis I’m begging to get outta here. I am a Bucs fan nothing more nothing less and once Jameis is gone I’m done with him, but I just would want nothing to do with this team any longer. He gets credit for nothing good and blamed for everything bad. If I’m him F that find a new punching bag while I go see what the real NFL feels like.

    Howard sucks
White is nothing more than an athlete
    Smith is average
    Marpet is average
    Jensen is average
    Rojo/Barber average at best
Evans tier two WR (No run after catch ability)
    Godwin top tier WR
    Dotson trash
    Cappa average
Defense is total garbage except for LVD, Vea, Barrett, JPP

  10. AwShbucs Says:

    Simeon.

    Nope just the first one.

  11. Rob Says:

Let the ATM, America’s turnover machine, go throw interceptions and rack up losses somewhere else. Anywhere else. Take the sorry head coach and Bowles with you. They all suck out loud! Blow it up and fire Licht first. Inept. All of them

  12. Im tired and 87 is right Says:

Hmm Jean when you are always down by an average 20 points a game you will try to make a play every f’n God darn time because if you don’t you lose!!!! You do not have a choice to be good you can only be great by luck and unless your last name ends in that it probably does not end well for you. Not many will ever be good with a defense like that. Fans go to the game and start yelling at the defense or your time is not worth mine. I’ve done it time and time again yet where were you f’n couch potatoes!

  13. DB55 Says:

    Joe

Any idea why mike Evans was yelling at Jensen at the end of the game?

  14. BrianBucs Says:

However, how many of those other QB’s did it in only 4.5 years?

  15. Jean Lafitte Says:

where were you f’n couch potatoes!

watching our team at home get slaughtered with an incompetent QB rather than watch that sh|tshow in a stadium with more Who Dat fans than Buc fans.

    How was that answer?

  16. martinii Says:

My daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons paid $500 for bad seats because my one son-in-law was sworn in at halftime during the military ceremony. That Pageantry was worth the trip. As far as the Buc’s game I wouldn’t pay a nickel to watch those losers embarrass themselves and the City of Tampa and I have have been a devout Buc fan since their origins. It’s time to move them to another city and let them crap on other loyal fans.
My daughter said the Ray Jay was half empty and For $500 they were surrounded by Saints fans.

  17. Tye Says:

‘Maybe, just maybe, Jameis is finished with the whole pick-6 thing for this season.’

the better course of action would be that the Bucs will just be finished with Jameis!

1 of the worst qbs in the entire league.. reckless and uncoachable!

  18. Jean Lafitte Says:

finally Ndog said something we can agree on.

Jameis needs to go somewhere else.

    He’s too polarizing here.

  19. Im tired and 87 is right Says:

That works Jean! Did you go down to the sidelines and almost get thrown out of the game for yelling so loud that they thought you just might go berserk on the whole f’n team?

  20. Armybucsfan Says:

What you failed to mention joe is how many these quarterbacks have thrown in the time span of 5 years like Jameis. Jameis is straight garbage and BA is making excuses for his sorry excuse for an NFL QB. IF WINSTON WAS THE STARTING QB FOR THE NE PATRIOTS BELLICHECK WOULD HAVE BENCHED HIS ASZ LONG TIME AGO.

  21. bojim Says:

    Uhhhh. It will happen again.

  22. Buc believer Says:

And Jason Licht is among the leaders in the GM fraternity for 1st and second round misses and if I’m correct the leader in having no fan base support.

  23. Jean Lafitte Says:

I gave up my season tickets 3 seasons ago. I started wanting a QB change in the middle of last season. So no to answer your question. I was in section 312 8 rows down from the top

  24. Im tired and 87 is right Says:

Armybucsfan Arians is looking out for the better of his team. You should appreciate that. Have we yet to see a complete team win? Last I heard in football you need to have each other’s backs? The whole team is young and dumb like most of you. Give it time and maybe they will make a difference. First year head coach folks! This is a straight evaluation year.

  25. Jean Lafitte Says:

I’ve never had tickets at field level except one time I won 2 endzone game tickets in 2002

  26. Ndog Says:

Hey guys I just heard Macbee passed away today. That dude was a great poster and unlike me never seemed to let his emotions get the best of him. RIP sir I enjoyed reading your comments and you will be missed. As much as we argue we are all Bucs fans and it truly hurts to hear a great one is no longer with us.

  27. Im tired and 87 is right Says:

Thanks Jean if you look me up I have been recorded several times chewing the team out at the sidelines. I have walked all the way down from 309 to tell them how I feel. I literally have started selling my tickets to keep from going to jail every game. It is that serious for me. I’m just tired of being yelled at in the stands for being to loud and tired of fans running good players out of town because they think they know best. Let Arians figure it all out and just yell for your team. I shouldn’t have to go to every game to be louder then the opposing teams fans because our fans are just mute.

  28. Jean Lafitte Says:

oh no really about Macabee ..that’s sad ..hat’s off to Macabee the Buc fan

  29. Im tired and 87 is right Says:

Alls I want as a fan is for us to just support the team as a unit. I’m tired of us just arguing on who should go and who should be here. We insert next player and the same thing happens. We insert next coach and the same thing happens. We insert next GM and the same things happens. The only thing that we can control is how we act as us fans. We need to straight up yell proud and loud for this team because that’s what we do. We work hard all through the week and come Sundays we live through our team. Sometimes things don’t come easy and we should know that as being a Bucs fan. I remember that plane ride when they flew into Philly. Tears to my eyes. I teared up for the fans not the team. You should have seen all the support for them. I knew they were going to win it all that day. Just support your team. One day we will get our golden ticket again, and I’ll probably shed an even bigger tear then because I will know how much is underdog fans have gone though all the years to get to that point in time.

  30. Adrnagy Says:

It’s either the talent evaluation is bad or the coaching. Mark dominik era was god awful picking up from there was a mission. Bring in a new qb and let’s see him with this oline and Rb and TE dropping balls.

  31. Adrnagy Says:

Smart play and winning fixing the problem. Until then we have a problem. We want to win. Too much change already. Jason Licht goes by analytics. This franchise has gone to analytics versus instinct.

  32. Adrnagy Says:

Another season gone to the toilet along with me paying for nfl Sunday ticket.

  33. H8JWLveBucs Says:

As they said during the game “he is not improving his int’s reduction over the years”

  34. Adrnagy Says:

Meanwhile the head coach gives up play calling to a unproven rookie. And the defense coach instead of starting the cb that won last game goes and tries new stuff with a safety playing nickel.

  35. Ndog Says:

This team is football dumb, there is no doubt about that.

  36. CPN Says:

    @Adrnagy

Uh. The Buccaneers are 1 of 2 franchises in the NFL that do not have an analytics department.

Unless it’s Licht doing his own calculations which would explain his awful drafting.

  37. Jean Lafitte Says:

Change the offensive philosophy, one that is more suitable for these players. Bruce Arians offense is eerily similar to Koetter’s and we struggled then. You’re asking a whole lot for mediocre lineman to hold their blocks for an eternity on almost every single play. I really do believe even Jameis would flourish in a short passing game like the west coast scheme. We have to try something different or find the personnel who fit this scheme better. Personally I believe it would be easier to change our scheme.

  38. Tampabuscsbro Says:

So you guys know that us and the Titans are the only two NFL teams with no Analytics department.

  39. Jean Lafitte Says:

^^^I thought Adrnagy was wrong but I didn’t want to call him out if I wasn’t exactly sure

  40. snookman Says:

    He is a dumb human.
    He makes Dum descisions
No QB in history of league has been given such an oppourtunity to develop with such a bad record and turnover history.

I thought that he deserved a chance with a proven head coach. He has is chance and this is what he is. He is a waste. I really think we would have been better with Mariota even though Mariota flamed out in Tenn. I think Mariota with this receiving core would have been better than this Dumb a$$

  41. Troy Says:

We can’t afford an analytics department. We spent all the money overpaying players and having too many useless coaches.

  42. Adrnagy Says:

What needs to change are those horrible uniforms. Lol.

  43. Adrnagy Says:

I said from the start. We ain’t going no more with the oline and dline. 49ers finally built the trenches and it’s paying off. We saw it week 1. Our oline sucked ice cream.

  44. Ndog Says:

Yes yes yes this offensive philosophy sucks out loud and just does not work with either A. a great oline or B. a great running back. We don’t have either and in addition to that we don’t have speed at WR position to get open downfield quickly. Despite that our offense still isn’t the biggest issue on that team and that says a lot.

  45. ElBajito43 Says:

Look….. “Trash” LICHT is gonna draft Jeffrey Okude and Winnie-Pooh will get a hall pass for this season. Papa BWUCY BWuce has a speed dial to NDoggy, right before he does the post game, so he can get the best excuses for Jameiy- Baby. I know how hard this is, but it will be even harder if I allow myself to dream of a new QB only to have my heart ❤️ ripped out again by “Trash” Licht…. just like he did with the VH3 pick.

Glazers are out of it…. these owners are living in a penthouse above us all.

. ”They care not of what Buccaneers fans do.” -Yoda

  46. NPRSageBoy Says:

I’ve heard the recent comparisons to the GB Packers with Brett Farve to TB Bucs and JayMiss Winnone and how Packers GM recognized how Farve was always gonna toss a pick or two game to go with a couple of TDs.

No problem he thought, just build a D to hold down opponents and minimize the Farve pick damage. In that case, it worked.

There’s no D in the universe that can minimize JayMiss’ damage. 96 turnovers in 5 years is enough proof that you can’t win with JayMiss.

Enough with the BA fairy tales/ BS. Time to move on.

    Peace, out

  47. Jean Lafitte Says:

The offense isn’t good enough to cover the diaper dandies in the secondary for at least 8 wins out of 16 games. Even a blind squirrel can find a nut more often than we can will ourselves to win. Not a whole lotta heroics coming from the most important position that handles the ball 100% of the time.

  48. Armybucsfan Says:

I’m tired and 87….. we’ve given Winston 5 years to prove he’s an interception machine. How many more losses are we going to continue to make excuses for his inaccuracies? Yes it’s a team spot and yes we have young unproven defensive backs but we are loaded at WR and TE. Give me Drew Brees at Qb, Bridgewater, Phillip rivers, or Tom Brady with these kind of weapons and you are telling me this team would not be a playoff team??? If you don’t think so your blind because Winston alone has given the ball away more times than anyone in the history of Qb’s in a 5 year span. How many games could we have won with better QB play? Nearly all of them but nooooooooo….. winstons release is slow just like slugwich and he telegraphs his throws… which is why opposing defenses love him and we suck. Yes our DBs are inexperienced so what Jameis’s excuse

  49. Ndog Says:

No Army no one can win with this team no one ever has won with a putrid run game and bottom 5 defense ever in the history of the game. Did you know that Jameis was responsible for 96% of our yards today? 96% are you kidding me that is not a winnable formula for anyone.

  50. BucsBandit Says:

    Ndog,

    Are you joking?

Do you realize if Jameis went to a bigger market team how CRUCiFIED he’d get by his turnovers and poor play?

The negative coverage he gets being on the Bucs is 1/100th of what it would be if he played for a larger market team.

“Find out what the real NFL is like.” Oh, he’d definitely find that out in a hurry playing for another team.

  51. Tampabuscsbro Says:

Yeah I wonder why for some reason we never ran the ball. also still doesn’t justify the sheer number of inaccurate passes or turnovers and no not counting the one on OJ Howard.

  52. Jean Lafitte Says:

You have to run it to gain yards. We got behind and abandoned the run while Jameis threw it 50 times

  53. Howard Cosell Says:

I know this team will always suck as long as glaser owns it, but it is heart-warming to see the 1/4 full stadium in TV and think about the glasers squirming to give away tickets to anyone who will take them.

Roger…glaser is severely tarnishing your product here in Tampa. I know it’s a small market, but the precedent is not good. It looks bad. Mark Cubans reckoning HAS arrived here in Tampa. The team has no fans. The sports media talks to haters who used to be fans and to ghosts. Tickets are worth less than toilet paper

    Bucslife

  54. DB55 Says:

Give me Drew Brees at Qb, Bridgewater, Phillip rivers, or Tom Brady with these kind of weapons and you are telling me this team would not be a playoff team???
    ————–
Not even close! These QBs rely on a running game and strong defense. They also need an oline and dump passes off to running backs and slot receivers running short routes.

Brees didn’t have any long throws today. He dumped the ball of to Kamara and Thomas within 10 yards of the los.

If you don’t know this maybe you’re blind.

  55. Howard Cosell Says:

    Seriously.
I’d take a nice double roll of Charmin any day over a depressing trip across town in heavy traffic to watch a depressing debacle and drink overpriced watered-down beer

  56. Jean Lafitte Says:

There were more that just a couple of poorly thrown passes even when Jameis had a clean pocket to throw from.

  57. JimmyJack Says:

The team as a whole looked just helpless out there today. Watching us get blowed out again was a very bitter pill to swallow for a fan like me who is willing to be patient but just wants to see signs of competent & professional football. I honestly can’t ask for any less as a fan and over the last decade plus they fail to meet even the lowsest of standards.

Yep eff y’all if you don’t like it. When I get to that last game of the season I’m bringing back the brown bag if the product doesn’t get better.

  58. MadMax Says:

And with the 7th pick, the buccaneers select Justin Herbert, QB Oregon.

  59. Ndog Says:

Bandit what other NFL team asks any player to account for 96% of their yards?

You are not hearing is bro this is not real NFL football here. We don’t have a defense, we don’t have a running game and our oline is average at best. That is not NFL football my friend, the ask is impossible which helps lead to many if the mistakes you see weekly.

  60. MadMax Says:

And with the 7th pick, the buccaneers select J.Herbert, QB Oregon.

  61. JimmyJack Says:

We can’t even snap the ball right. The easiest part of the game.

Now I get to go and get laughed at all day tomorrow by opposing fans. This is the shame you give to you loyal fans Bucs. Thanks for nothing

  62. DayOnePaul Says:

Why is it that we can’t draw up and execute some screen passes to help this QB and offensive line by loosening up opposing defenses? This weekly pattern of watching Winston under duress every single play is painful for him, painful for the offense, and painful to watch.

  63. Howard Cosell Says:

Not that I care, but the technical problem with this incarnation of the suckaneers is:
    * The Oline sucks
    * The coaching and schemes suck
    * The entire defensive secondary is beyond suck

^(notice there’s nothing about QB’s on the list)

Not that any of this matters….yawn…

  64. Ndog Says:

Jean when you are getting hit all day it makes you gittery but you also have a drop by OJ, a drop by Evans, a drop by Miller that all contribute to the lack of offensive success along with being ridiculously one dementional all day. I mean play action which is very hard to defend is non-existent for us. How can that not be a huge factor?

  65. Ndog Says:

Bro Justin Herbert no thanks. He is not exactly done anything against a good defense ever, EVER.

  66. ElBajito43 Says:

    Cossell…..
Where the hell were you today???
Did you actually enjoy your life from 1pm-4pm? You have no right to that time.
Let’s talk 2020 Draft. “Trash” Licht protests and a Cameron Brate pride parade.

  67. Jeffbuc Says:

N Dogg what Good does jamies not get credit for. He gets credit every year for are 4 wins. I wil give you first not on him but THEN the the next three are. I have no faith in jameis anymore. You guys that say make sure you have someone better before you throw him away. Can it get any worse than leasding the nfl in turnovers since he came into the league. He is awful he loses more than he wins for us. He holds the ball to long and stares down reciievers. The brees touchdown even though white was in the guys jock strap he pump faked to the middle to get white to hesitate jamies doesn’t do that he stares him down and throws a pick. He doesn’t have it. Quit fooling yourself with stare down hold it to long jameis. He is holding this team back if we just had an average QBs we would be 6-4
But no we have to hear you and arians make excuses every game for jameis. Instead of telling the truth he was under pressure all
Game and should have thrown some balls away. But he has heard that for 5 years and still can’t do it
    I am
Over Winston quit ruining my Sunday’s. He has the most interceptions in the nfl. So a rookie QB has a easy transition. We will tolerate a year 5 QBs leading the league in turnovers this year year on top of leasing since he got drafted so you kid just play loose and I bet you won’t throw 18 in a year.

  68. Ndog Says:

Ok Jeff whatever you say bro, you’re gonna see what you want to see.

  69. Jeffbuc Says:

    Jameis sucks
    Jameis sucks
    Jameis sucks

  70. MadMax Says:

    @jimmy

Laugh with them….we suck, been sucking for years…is what it is, SUCKANEERS!!!

i dont even worry about the others at work lol….i got too much sht to do for 12 hrs.

  71. Jeffbuc Says:

And I’m still one short of his interceptions for the game and I felt redundant

  72. Ndog Says:

Jeff why you do it for the % of offense he provided for us today?

  73. firethecannons Says:

whatever Joe, Jameis sucks, he aint getting us to any playoffs ever so lets get a confidence poll in Jameis and see where we stand. Then lets start hounding the Glazers,JL, BuccoBA about getting us someone else and not andy dalton or kaperick.
Lets have some intelligent talk about new quarterbacks in new posts.seasons over already, way over, still cant believe BuccoBA said only 10 of Jameis int were his fault–all quarterbacks have this issue. My confidence in BA now is NONE!
I do appreciate they dumped Hargreaves and got him off the books–certainly no harm with that move.

  74. Adrnagy Says:

We should’ve drop a 2nd rounder on dee ford or frank. Jason Licht is going to use a 2nd rounder on a punter.

  75. Adrnagy Says:

With the 1st rounder on tua

  76. Adrnagy Says:

And then Bruce is going to hold 2 or 3 practices to find “gems”

  77. SteelStudBuc Says:

Kudos to Jameis on getting that 5th year option money.
He went get that much next season… That is for sure.

  78. firethecannons Says:

me and jeffbuc were very supportive of Jameis back when the uber accusation was happening. Now we are both done with this dude and all his issues, jeffbuc is right he never throws it away, cant make a read quick and stares recievers down. lets get a more mobile quarterback who protects the ball better than Jameis. I started watching NFL when Jameis went to the Bucs as I was an FSU alumni–but damn–the kids coming out now are so much better than he ever was.

  79. Bird Says:

    Ndog

    Ypu are right
    96 % of the offense

    Why ?

    Cause bucs got down 20!
What are they supposed to do. You throw
    Wveryone sucked today

Funny. You blame almost every player
I thought you supported the team

    You are the biggest hypocrite
    Dont touch jameis

    You look terrible

  80. Adrnagy Says:

And then … of course Bruce will neglect the 1st team practice because is too busy finding “gems” all of this in the 2020 new model golf car the glazers are buying for him.

  81. Bird Says:

    Your a team guy

    😂

  82. Jeffbuc Says:

Suppose to watch football for joy. I am a year around fan. And get about 5 hours of joy all season. The rest is turnovers and horrible play. Bit there not all jameis fault the receiver ran wrong routes. Than it is your fault coach. The players should all no what route they are running. If they do t it is your fault you are the coach. So all the interceptions besides 10 you said are on you. Nope can’t blame
Yourself lie hearing that the highest graded cornerback last week on the nfl did t play a snap this week because you decided to tell your defensive coach to tell your secondary coach to tell his cornerback coach to tell his man coverage coach that dean will not be playing
    This week do to head
Coaches decision that a slower safety will be better at a lot than you this week. If you have any problems with this please take it up with the defensive quality control coach so he can let his defensive game play. Coaches know that he thinks dean should play. And by the time it gets back to arians he says it is Sunday. We should have figured this out on Saturday. I will trust my coaches and say we can’t start him now because we already put I. This weeks game plan and forgot we had dean. But we remember something about releasing a former first round kick so dean can play more. We messed up this week but there is 6 more weeks we will figure it out it isn’t do or die yet. We still have a 3% chance of making playoffs

  83. JimmyJack Says:

MadMax……Laughing don’t work for me. We all have our ways of coping. Anger is my preferred method.

  84. Ndog Says:

So it’s the QBs fault we were down 20? Are we supposed to blame him for our defense being trash and our TEs lack of ability to catch?

  85. Bird Says:

Ndog just ripped wveryone but jameis
And he said he was rooting for team

His face looks like jameis butthole

  86. Discobeef Says:

Quit blaming the O-line. The Bucs don’t have the worst pass protection in the league by far, yet Jameis has the most interceptions. Enough with the excuses. he’s just not the guy.

  87. Ndog Says:

Wow Bird great points. Grow up bro.

  88. JimmyJack Says:

It’s not a excuse to say the OL had a bad game. That’s ridiculous. Y’all do know you can judge each position separately don’t you?

  89. Jeffbuc Says:

N dog really the game went south on are Opening possession. When jameis missed wide open mike Evans for a first down as he was rolling right. It’s those little plays that I notice and you jameis supporters do t even see. That was a pretty routine nfl throw. And jameis was 5 yards off before we know it we have 54 seconds possession to there 14:06. To you it’s just one incomplete pass to me it’s one pass every game he misses that would have kept any nfl offense on the field and our defense off the field. That’s the plays I see that kisses me off the most. The picks are awful. But the missing wide opn receivers on 3rd is what hurts the most. so stick up for that play all you want. And get excited about the 4 great throws a game
And feel vindicated because the coach has to publicly
Say only ten o tercepfions are hoS fault the other 8 are just bad luck. Give me the magical qb who get lucky versus the cursed an who lead the league in turnovers but none are his fault. He sucks and kills us every game by his misses early. Stat line At halftime since he joined the league z6-19 89 yards 1td 2int. That is his career first half stats defend that and make excuses all you want but that is why we lose. That is horrible stats for a first half in one game that is his average

  90. unbelievable Says:

    RIP Macabee

That guy was a hallmark around here for years.

  91. Jeffbuc Says:

    6-19

  92. Bird Says:

    Ndog

Yup . Grow up was the comeback
Normally you say you won the debate

You say you support the team not individual players
    Right

Get the f out of here . You named half the team
You said mike evans was overrated
You have one player. Go noles

  93. JimmyJack Says:

The truth is Winston did have the 4 picks and they were mostly bad throws but almost all of em came in desperation moments.

The INTs were not key plays to the game(except the first one). All the plays that had us playing in desperation to score mattered much more. Trying to score points in desperation is not a winning formula.

If you wanna critique Winston’s plays aside from the INTs(non desperation moments) it would be much more meaningful if your trying to shed blame. Those plays mattered much more and had bigger impacts……….But honestly we got blown out badly today and there’s a lot of blame to go around. Players and coaches. Trying to blame one guy in a blowout is just not accurate.

  94. JimmyJack Says:

Jeff Buc that’s a much better example IMO……That play you mentioned had a much bigger impact then a desperate last throw to end the half. Or a desperate throw when your behind 3 scores.

The play you mentioned had a bigger impact at a much more critical moment.

Appreciate the better context of a play that had a bigger effect.

  95. Ndog Says:

Bird tell me I’m wrong about any of them. That’s what I thought you little… Let me stop I shouldn’t waste my time on your punk self.

  96. DB55 Says:

    Jeff

If he’s so bad why don’t they run the ball? Just makes sense to run the ball when the QBs struggles.

Minnesota was down 20 at the half, came back and ran the ball. They won the game.

Why don’t the Bucs run the ball? Why are they ranked 24 in rushing and 4th in passing top five in pass scoring?

Why don’t they just run the ball Jeff?

Cousins and Brees had 35 attempts while JayMiss WinsNot had 51. Why don’t they run? Did you see those 2 run attempts from the 1 yard line?

  97. DB55 Says:

    Jeff

I did see the third down pass Evans dropped in the fourth qrt. And he had room to run although he’d probably just fall down without anyone around him, oh wait I’ve said too much.

Hey guys I just heard Macbee passed away today. That dude was a great poster and unlike me never seemed to let his emotions get the best of him. RIP sir I enjoyed reading your comments and you will be missed. As much as we argue we are all Bucs fans and it truly hurts to hear a great one is no longer with us.

    ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,’

Not sure if this is true but if so it is more important than how bad this team has gone down. Prayers to Mac if this is true. If not you have problems Ndog

  99. BucsBandit Says:

FOR THOSE OF YOU KEEPING SCORE AT HOME…

There’s always some massive excuse made for Jameis Winston’s poor play…

The latest popular excuse by the Jameis-Homers is that we have no running game!

    NEVER FORGET…

In Jameis’ first season Doug Martin rushed for over 1,400 yards, the most by any Bucs running back in history and the 2nd most in the NFL that season… and Jameis produced a massive SIX wins that season… with a 1,400+ yardage running back.

There will always be excuses for Winston. Pay no attention to the fact that Ryan Fitzpatrick put up huge numbers with this same offense last season. Or the fact that Jameis’ lack of driving the team for points early in the game has ZERO to do with our Defense performs.

There will always be excuses for Jameis Winston. His garbage time stats will always cloud the true analysis of this terrible NFL QB.

The Bucs will never get better until this turd is gone.

  100. Jean Lafitte Says:

    JimmyJack

The first 20 points wasn’t desperation. It wasn’t till Jameis gave them the easy 14 more points that made it desperation

  101. BrianBucs Says:

There will be many, many more pick 6’s from Winston. Many…

  102. Armybucsfan Says:

Db55. Nope not blind but I know that Jameis can’t dump passes off because he takes forever in his progressions and reminds me of slugwich 2.0. His release is so slow no wonder his balls get batted down so often or picked off. A good Qb can go through his progressions in less than 3 seconds and if nothing’s there they make plays with their legs instead of taking sacks, fumbles or throwing an ungodly amount of picks. GReat QBs make everyone around them better. Jameis is an average back up quarterback that got paid like a starter.

  103. SteelStudBuc Says:

The Winston experience (experiment) is over!
    For the love of God!
Put this horse out to pasture.
    We have families!
We could spend this money on better things than Winston interceptions!
What a waste of time and energy!
And for what? To get kicked in the nuts and say I’m gonna do this again next week? You gotta be out your damn mind!

  104. Pete I Says:

    24-40

98 Jameis “meaningless stats” Winston turnovers are firmly in the record book with no asterisks which shows whose fault those turnovers are. The record book has assigned them to Jameis for all time.

Only 8 pick 6’s ? Seems like a whole lot more.

  105. HereWeGoAgain Says:

Ndog… you missed a few. It starts from the top down

    Owners are bumbling idiots
    GM is TRASH
HC just might be coo coo for cocoa puffs
    OC is crap

Sell the team to some owners who are serious about winning.

  106. Don_RyJo(e) Says:

Its funny – I actually gave up on watching the game around the start of the 2nd quarter (I saw the writing on the wall) and turned it off to spend my Sunday doing other, more productive, things. I turned back to the game in the 4th quarter to see what the score was and LITERALLY the SECOND I flipped the game back on the 4th quarter, the pick-6 happened. I turned the game right the fu(gh) back off. #top5draftpickorbust

  107. bucy Says:

Jameis has accomplished this horrible feat , in what is favorable described as his first five years. Let us not forget that he has missed lots of time due to off field antics and suspensions. Having 66 games means he has missed 8 start (half a season) and still has these horrible amount of turn overs and pick sixs. Its time to move on for the love of god.

  108. 2020 What is the bucs future plan? Says:

Jaymiss Winsnot is worth 8-10$ million a season ….. period !!!! He is not taking you to the promised land…..

  109. JamesisNOT Says:

Let’s all hope his MRI comes back with a season ending injury

  110. Sharthappens Says:

The Saints linebacker (Demario Davis) just stated that they wanted to have JW throw the ball because they knew he was going to turn it over.

  111. Sharthappens Says:

I would hate the see JW leave because I am killing it every week on the Vegas line regarding his turnover line. Typically set at 2.5. Although one week is was 3.

  112. 2020 What is the bucs future plan? Says:

TEAM GLAZER NEEDS TO WAKE fUDGE UP! tHEY HAVE BEEN BAMBOOZELED AGAIN

  113. RustyRhinos Says:

Sorry to hear that Ndog. Macbee always a great post read. Agree those will be missed. If you are in that circle pass on a fellow Buc fans condolences to be those in need. Blessed be.

Pick-6 club part II. And our present member says, We just got to learn from it and get better. “That sucks!” How long have we heard this SSDD? 《insert team (here) and season (here), (here), (here), and (here)》WHEN if ever will any of the lessons be learned? And to me all the practice success talk these past few post games we hear about are really not translating into game successes. I could be wrong, but checking for a fellow pirate, game success = Wins Right?

    A Tough loss either way.

  114. Jameis Almighty! Says:

Ndog is correct. Couldn’t have said it any better. Jameis on another team is an all pro and no doubter hofer. But, he got Bucced
