Im not a Jameis fan but even I think the golf thing is getting a little out of hand. Was it stupid? Yes. But wanting to showcase his support in a charity event is diffrent than some of the other pointless acts he has done.
That being said I disagree with Joe (again) on the whole “Football players are wired differently” thing. Jameis is a quarterback. Not John Randall, Not Lawrence Taylor. No other QB in the modern era would have done it. A QB should be a decision maker not a barbarian mentality. I say barbarian as a compliment towards the great linemen.

Umm. Ronde Barber did not have much of a chance last year Ira and Lynch did not either when you had to stay home and let the third team present #47. So hopefully next year you get it done for one or both…. I dare say McEwan would have found a way to make things happen….. Harsh and out of line. You have no idea what happened. –Joe
