“I Want Answers!”

November 2nd, 2017

A famous Buc fan is outraged.

The Shat Show the Bucs displayed Sunday, specifically horrid offense mailing it in, has so enraged fans that Joe hasn’t seen the pitchforks held aloft and smelled the burning torches like this since the near mob riot on a 2013 Thursday night game in the Den of Depression that was a virtual funeral procession for then-Bucs commander Greg Schiano.

Allegedly, fans turned so surly heckling the team as the Bucs entered the tunnel to head to the locker room Sunday, Bucs players did double-takes they were so taken aback.

Bucs fans are irked, mad, p!ssed off. They have taken to social media, podcasts, even this here website.

Dogs and cats cower in fear, scurrying for the nearest cover.

It is one thing for the Bucs to be losing, but for the team to score three points and crap all over the home field Sunday, it really turned Bucs fans loose. They are going after everyone and everything from Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht to the lowest scrub on the 53-man roster.

Even uber Bucs fan and entertainer Nick Carter is galled. He cut a video and sent it into “Good Morning, Football,” seen weekday mornings on NFL Network. Carter unloaded on the team and the Status Woe of the organization at the trade deadline, and admitted he’s ashamed to wear his Bucs gear outside his home.

“I want answers!” Carter demanded.

You can watch below Carter spill his soul, and see the “Good Morning, Football” gang try to talk Carter off the ledge.

Well if Pete says we’re good then what else do you really need to know?

  2. Joeypoppems Says:

I like how he said “Its almost like this offense has too many mouths to feed”

It will seem that way until we get some offensive minds on the coaching staff to use these weapons creatively and effectively. Until then I agree with that assessment.

  3. unbelievable Says:

I wish I was as optimistic as Peter Schrager is…

The truth is we have enough talent to win games, even with our non-existent pass rush.

The players just aren’t putting in the effort. They’re not playing physical, not swarming to the ball, not running downfield and blocking for other guys.

Is that a player problem, or a coaching problem?

  4. Kobe Faker Says:

“I was peeking thru the Hooters front window and I saw Peter Schrager wearing a hooters girl outfit waiting for Jon grudog”

    Lol
Everyone looking for the answer in so many places.
Blaming everyone from Licht to the waterboy

Its not Jameis fault. Or Conte. or Ryan Smith. Or Donavan Smith.
    Or Gerald McCoy.or Justin Evans.

I said it at the draft, the offseason, the Preseason.

You cannot win in the NFL, if you cant rush the passer.

It cripples the defense, and demoralizes the Offense.

  6. Brandon Says:

I’m sorry, but bringing DJax in has only hampered this offense this year. Instead of Winston being able to just play, he has to worry about feeding DJax the ball so he doesn’t whine like a little bi**h.

  7. PRBucFan Says:

Schrager is on something, the media doomed us this offseason with all the hype and Peter just finished us with the kiss of death here.

I want some of what he is smoking.

  8. Michael Wright Says:

If you have the players…As we have. Then why isn’t the effort there? Answer..Bucs need a hold them accountable coach. Enough of this..Captain Smiley Cool Dirk crap! I’m now reevaluating the Gruden thing. He might not be our best choice. There are a couple out there..better than him……….But Dirk and Smith gotta..pack bags!!

  9. Casual Observer Says:

Overheard at a Tampa sports bar:

“Ain nothing wrong with this team that a new coach and GM couldn’t fix.”

    “We coulda had Mariota!”

“This GM ain’t no good with his second round pics.”

    Just sayin’ – That’s what I heard.

  10. Lord Cornelius Says:

So just looked this up; and of the last 3 coaching regimes this has been the best one defensively – as crazy / sad as that may sound. Our PPG given up so far this year is actually still better than any in Schiano/Lovie era. Maybe we should ride this out a little.

    Greg Schiano:

    2012 24.6 PPG allowed (23rd)
    2013 24.3 PPG given up (ranked 21st)

that’s the “mess” Lovie inherited per 813.

    Lovie Smith:

    2014 – 25.6 PPG given up (25th) = regression
    2015 – 26.1 PPG given up (26th) = further regression in year 2

    Koetter (/ Mike Smith):

    2016 – 23.1 PPG given up (15th) = best improvement over prior 5 years
2017 – 24 PPG given up (24th) = regressing; but still have 9 games to play; and it’s still better than any of the Lovie years.

Good nuggets of info there, Lord C.

Although we may drop significantly if the Saints hang 30+ on us…

The Yucs sucks…..that’s the only answer

  13. Dewey Selmon Says:

I knew it was Nick Carter before i even clicked on this article. This schmuck went on good morning football and embarrassed himself on national tv by not knowing the Bucs didn’t win a game during year 1. he wants answers. lol

  14. Not there yet Says:

Yes those previous seasons are in the books this one is 7 games in and a lot more can go wrong like the saints and falcons putting up 40

  16. BaldBuc Says:

Lord C. You should work as a hostage negotiator or a suicide hotline. Your informed and articulate take has no business being here. Now that I’ve stepped back from the ledge I can now fixate on the draft.

  17. Tampa Bay Tailgater Says:

ahhh (sound from the Zima commercials)…..that was very refreshing to hear. Bravo Peter, what a great segment! I haven’t felt that good from a JBF post in a very long time! 🙂

  18. Joeypoppems Says:

    @Lord C

Its the best we’ve had. That doesnt make it good tho lol

  19. GhostofSchiano Says:

And what happens when one or more mouths starve? Trade demands? Wait and see.

Love the info Lord Cornelius, agree with you as well.

  20. Patrickbucs Says:

Why can Wentz in his second year (with all of his new weapons) just win NFC player of the month? I just do not understand why the Bucs offense isn’t truly a top 5 scoring offense. Someone does need to be held accountable if this continues IMO.

  21. Lord Cornelius Says:

    lmao Baldbuc / others – thanks 🙂

    @not there yet

That argument goes both ways. We could improve and end up ranked similar to last year. We’ll see how we finish.

The post wasn’t meant to be some ringing endorsement of this staff – this season has obviously been a colossal failure so far. Just something I looked up for perspective.

  22. Not there yet Says:

Timid players and timid front office that’s the problem….

Kelvin Benjamin Traded to Bills; Panthers Receive 3rd- and 7th-Round Draft Picks

First round pick that’s been with the franchise since 2014 gone to make room for younger players. This is the kind of smart move made by an interim coach to get more speed on the field. As old as the defensive line is we have no one with the stones to be bold which is why they lose. Two winning seasons with GMC but when he’s too old it’ll be thanks for the memories and we’ll get nothing in return because licht wants to be loyal above trying to win.

  23. Defense Rules Says:

I like Peter’s take on this year’s Bucs: “You’ve got hits on the way”. As in ‘Five in a row?’ Not sold on it, but wish I could be.

Oh but wait…according to LC, the defense is so much better with smitty it aint even close!!!….LOL…STFU….GTFOH….ONCE AGAIN YOUR WRONG….GO BUCS!!!

  27. Lord Cornelius Says:

Literally never said “so much better it aint even close”
Literally said that this wasn’t an endorsement of the staff

If I wanted to endorse the staff I wouldn’t say that. This is the internet I have no reason to speak anything other than what’s on my mind lol. There is literally no reason for me to hide behind anything. I said “as sad as that is” earlier – meaning this has been a disappointment regardless.

So please just stop. Stop putting words in my mouth. Stop twisting what I say and making straw man arguments. At this point I’m not going to engage you if that’s all you have left.

Rationale capable human beings can read this thread all day – and any other for that matter – and decide for themselves who is acting like a loon. I’ll let my posts speak for themselves vs yours.

don’t pout cause you got called out by multiple posters….you made my biggest point by admitting that this defense has REGRESSED….so for that I say thank you!!!!….GO BUCS!!!!

Ok and a plane could fly into my office right now and kill me. This isn’t really a point or negating anything I said lol. Still waiting to see where I’m actually “called out” or proven to have said something stupid.

Yep agree with this dude. Still haven’t been called out yet though. I said “as sad as that may sound” about the current defense being the best. So this guy agrees with me that it’s been the best defense. Still waiting…

Looks like another compliment / appreciative post.

I don’t think you know it means to actually be called out by someone lol. For reference – just look at all the times you made a factually incorrect post; and I pointed out how it was factually incorrect. That’s an actual example of the term being applied appropriately
