Quick Practice Update

Vincent Jackson may not be able to practice, but he is still keeping his hands sharp.

Just a quick practice update from One Buc Palace:

Vincent Jackson was in shorts but that doesn’t mean he is resting today. Jackson caught a lot of balls gunned out of a Jugs machine. From what Joe has heard previously, it would be very much a surprise if Jackson plays Sunday against the Cowboys, but at least he is keeping his pass-catching skills sharp.

Ali Marpet has a slight limp and talking to Joe and others in the Tampa Bay pen and mic club prior to practice, Marpet has yet to declare himself out for Sunday. That doesn’t mean he will play.

And tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins was practicing. He was practicing last week, too, so Joe isn’t sure what to make of seeing him on the practice field on a Wednesday.

We have some great vets on this year’s team which is critical considering how much youth is in the mix. VJAX, Mankins, McDonald have been really valuable in the locker room as well as on the field.
