Demar Dotson Talks Return

Bucs RT Demar Dotson is eyeing an earlier return than first thought.

Bucs RT Demar Dotson is eyeing an earlier return than first thought.

Man, when Joe saw injured right tackle Demar Dotson on crutches last week, Joe thought the dude was on stilts he is so big.

One of the nicest guys you will ever meet, Dotson injured his knee late in the first half of the first preseason game because Lovie Smith feared for the safety of “America’s Quarterback,” Bucs signal-caller Jameis Winston.

Below, courtesy of Jenna Laine of WHBO-AM 1040 and SportTalkFlorida.com, Dotson talks about his return and about Jameis. Enjoy.

I hope Dot gets back and plays at a high level so the Bucs can pay him what he deserves.

    Go Sucs!

    Yeah……..

Get well…..God knows the O-Line needs all the help it can get

“somewhere Jameis is praying too” 🙂

  3. Casual Observer Says:

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Demar

Yeah best wishes for Demar. Walter Football’s 2016 draft prediction has us picking at 6th…shows how good they think we are…or should I say aren’t..and they have us taking Ronnie Stanley the ND Tackle.

They acknowledged we already have two high pick this year on the OL and they thought Dot was very competent but they were concerned about depth and they think that Stanley may be a better tackle than Smith and that Smith might be better suited moving to LG when Mankins retires.

Of course that was before Cherilus signed with us but he too is getting a bit long in the tooth.

I wouldn’t be upset drafting Stanley or any other OL who was worth the pick but I’ll be mildly surprised if we don’t go DE first.

    @ Stpetebucsfan

I have to agree with the Walterfootball assessment

We need another good tackle to cement the line and maybe a center……I’m not too high on EDS

That’s depressing, being picked to have the 6th overall pick in next years draft. At least for this year.
