The Bucs were in a hurry to re-sign cornerback Danny Gorrer this offseason

If it’s possible to get Bucs fans jacked up for a football game in June (only two months till the preseason opener), then a new video on Buccaneers.com might be the tonic.

The Bucs did a great job compiling highlights from recent OTA practices.

Here’s the link for your viewing enjoyment.

You can catch a nice Johnthan Banks interception, and one from Danny Gorrer, which had help from Tommy Streeter, who lost his footing on the play. The 6-foot-5 Streeter was a 2012 sixth-round pick of the Ravens who has yet to take an NFL snap. He does seem to get a lot of work in Bucs practice, as do lots of receivers, given that Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans have been shelved with hamstring issues.

Among the other fun stuff in the video, you’ll get a taste of fiery Joe Cullen, the Bucs’ defensive line coach who brings a ton of energy every day.

I think this team looks big and ferocious. Especially with Clinton McDonald and Gerald Mccoy and are new pass rusher on the edge and our new guys coming up with Spence and Gholston. Hopefully just hopefully we can Adrian Clayborn back on track with his side kick Bowers. With a pass rush and all our other tools in the defensive backfield already and being blessed with a great defensive coach like Leslie Frazier I am excited. Offense will put something together or there will be mid season trades for QB because we have the run game and the receivers.

Unlikely. Mid season trades, especially for starting QBs, almost never happen. And it won’t happen this year either.
