Joe’s friends at WDAE-AM 620 have all sorts of audio available from Day Five of Bucs training camp 2013 for you to enjoy. First there is Bucs coach Greg Schiano’s daily post-practice press conference.
In addition, there are interviews with players who had good practices. Among them are linebacker Lavonte David, who was a terror in the second practice in pads, cornerback Leonard Johnson, who appears to be in a battle with Johnthan Banks for a starting gig, running back Brian Leonard, who should have a spot on the 53-man final roster, and defensive end Adrian Clayborn, who had a beastly practice this morning.

Love that Johnson is battling with highly touted Banks for the starting job, holy crap that’s just going to make BOTH of them better no matter who becomes the starter. This team has come a long way since the Raheem (Glazers need to save money from Gruden) days. Schiano has them on the right track. I may NEVER give up my 1st season tix ever. We’ll see soon enough, but things look right now. I’m starting to slowly forget the Raheem era. I’m still a little weary though with my money as I’ve been through this college coach turned pro approach with Ray Perkins. I’ve also seen the Spurrier debacle in D.C., but I like what I’m seeing. I think the Glazers are FINALLY ready to give us fans what we have been craving/starving for. The question I have to the naysayers (the_buc_realist and company) is this. Are you ready for it? I know I am. Couch Fan are you ready for it? I know I am. SteveK are you ready for it? I know I am. I personally think MY Bucs are going to f*ck the NFL’s day up this season. Well maybe just F them up a little bit this season, but MY Bucs are on the cusp of something GREAT. It’s building up, and the Glazers are spending money again. The Super Bowl is near, maybe not this season, but it’s near. Trust me on this.

Oh and I might add Joe posted this article around 1 A.M. and I AM piss drunk off (not a big drinker about twice a week) cheap tequila. So anyone that EVER questions my fandom of this team can go F themselves, and I’ll let them know about it. Call me a homer and things will get worse. True the Bucs are the ONLY sports team I care about, but I’m NOT a homer. To call me one is only to rile me up, just so you know. @the_buc_realist even though you have not posted yet on this, I’m calling you out. You HAVE to see what’s going on with this current team. I liken myself to you about 3 yrs ago, so I am a Buc realist. This team IS headed for GREAT things, not mediocre things, GREAT things. Fine if you want to see wins and remain skeptical. I’m telling you this right now. Your about to see it. I’m a I’ll believe it when i see it type of person too. Let’s me just say it like this, I’m a realist and buy your tickets now. Pretty soon, the only chance you will have of getting into RJS at a decent price is to watch Monster Jams or some silly truck show. Oh well if you don’t have tix, you can always watch the games on TV like me in the late 90’s and wish you were there. OMG I said to my wife I’d stay away from this site until Sept 7th and here I am 50 comments later. Thus means I feel something VERY good about this team the Bucs are slowly putting together. Okay I’m out and g’night Bucs fans!

I’m with you on this. Its time for the skeptics to become fans until it is proven….either way. We have made most of our moves for this season & I think they are solid.
Could we have done more….perhaps…at TE & 3rd reciever….maybe a verteran DE….but I am confident we will field a very good team with players we can be proud of.

…and Fridays. When I do drink though, I drink heavy. I guess I make up for the off days. LOL
