Joe asked Dirk Koetter today about his apparent disinterest in analytics and data. Koetter unloaded, “I don’t need a freakin’ piece of paper.”
It’s safe to say Bucs’ offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter doesn’t subscribe to Pro Football Focus.
Joe’s not surprised, considering PFF data is about as valuable as Joe’s advice on courting hotties. (more…)

Young turks are taking over.
Former Bucs commander Greg Schiano once told Joe that before he came to Tampa Bay, he never heard of a starting NFL quarterback who didn’t stop in the office on the player’s off day, if for no other reason than to have medical treatment or maybe do a little prep work. (more…)

Bucs GM dishes on America’s Quarterback.
Joe understands Bucs fans enjoy hearing national voices discuss the pewter pirates, especially if they’re being positive.
Just last night on Twitter, some scribe asked, “What three players under the age of 25 would you start a franchise with?” And many NFL writers responded including America’s Quarterback, Bucs signal-caller Jameis Winston. (more…)

Cornerback Tim Jennings isn’t cutting it
Joe is in ecstasy. Today’s home victory was nearly as sweet as Joe being invited to a postgame group shower with the Buccaneers cheerleaders.
