Tristan Wirfs Pops Up On Injury Report

November 5th, 2026

New to injury report.

Joe was out at One Buc Palace on Wednesday and saw Tristan Wirfs.

Joe didn’t talk to the All-Pro left tackle, other than maybe to say hi, and that was about it. Wirfs was his typical jolly self, joking around with his fellow offensive linemen and enjoying the dirt cups the Bucs’ social media team brought them.

Nothing seemed unusual.

But, when the Bucs released the injury report from today’s practice, there was something unusual on it. Wirfs was listed on the injury report.

That’s not good.

Wirfs apparently has a bad toe and he did not practice. A big ol’ offensive lineman like Wirfs with a bad toe is a bad thing. This has Joe worried.

Turf toe — if that’s what it is (the injury report was not specific) is bad for one of the big uglies.

Chris Godwin and Bucky Irving did not practice today as well but they were given a rest day. YaYa Diaby didn’t practice either but he is battling a knee sprain.

The good news is Emeka Egbuka was a full participant in practice. He has missed the last two games with a concussion and a foot injury. Kenny Gainwell was also a full participant in practice as he has a sore hip.

No need to worry about hurt WR’s. We no longer use them or need them.

I’m sure Bowles will out scheme that hack HC of the Bears. What has he ever done?

Oh wait. Ben Johnson coached the Bears to a 11-6 record in year one and won a playoff game. And this year he has one of the best teams in the league.

Other than that he sucks and Todd is better. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  2. It’s Exciting!!! Says:

We got Chuk as a solid backup. It’s all good!

    Super Bowl baby!!!

  3. TampaBayBucFan Says:

    Come out throwing…..will shock them

  4. Simple T Says:

The talking heads are now claiming the Bears are the best team in football.
Lynchmob and his butt buddy aqualung are going to have 2 weeks of misery to wallow in if we pull off this win 🤞🏼

1st pass play read #1 needs to go to Tez or Ted or Chris.
We’ve tried force feeding EE, it doesn’t work.

Tez in particular has earned more targets.
Chris, in spite of his stats being down, is still that man!

We continue to have good fortune with (lack of) injuries 🙏🏼

  5. Oldbucsfan Says:

I agree with this; come out throwing on the first play. Bears will be too cued in and focused on stopping the run.

  6. Upstate NY Buc Fan Says:

Big game for Tez!! I feel it! What happened to Kam Johnson he always seemed to be open? Let’s go E E big game! Go Bucs

  7. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

Wirfs has to get that foot removed from a Falcons defenders ass

  8. Kayla Says:

The Bears are a complete team, well coached. They just destroyed the SB Champs in their own house. Probably playing the best in the NFC right now. Smart move is sit Wirfs and some other nicked up guys and give them extra week to heal with the BYE. No way the Bucs are winning even with all their starters in Chicago anyway.

  9. King of Citrus Park Says:

Run the F*cking ball. If the Bears get drawn in, flip it over top. But run the F*cking ball.

  10. Football 1 Says:

I will tell you I don’t know that we have if we have a passing game really. I mean EE has turf toe, which may be the reason for his play? When did he last have an explosive play?, yes quite awhile. Godwin, he is either badly utilized or he just can’t get open .When did he last have and explosive play?, a long touchdown called back on a holding call. Yes Tez has a few, but he is more of a speciality player. Hurst is a rookie and has upside but right now he is playing like a rookie. I don’t see how the Bucs can come out throwing with the current receivers. When is J Mac returning?, not in the near future.
I really think we need to trade for a receiver at this point. I just don’t see any receivers standing up. Is it the play calling or the receivers?. I really don’t know, does anyone.
I don’t think we will see Baker slinging it all over the field on Sunday. If so to whom?.

  11. Bucscoott Says:

Yeah come out throwing a 2 yard pass WOW!!! The Bears have the personality of their head coach and the bucs have the personality of their’s it explains everything you need to know..

  12. Fishhawkbuc Says:

Any coincidence that we won two games without Egbuka??? He has a reputation of not blocking down field. Hence, massive rushing yards the games he was out.

  13. NCbucfan Says:

Play action the whole first drive. Or at least the first couple plays. Gotta keep this Bears D thinking. Their corners can be had!

  14. King of Citrus Park Says:

Run it until they stop it

  15. Tony Says:

Donovan Smith coming out of retirement now.👍💩🫣🤮

  16. McBay Says:

Just cut the toe off and insert a prosthetic. The Bucs medical staff are the best at engineering injury solutions.

  17. Kenton Smith Says:

McBay. Cutting the toe plum off would make a huge mess. Make that the last straw. Put Mayfield’s glove on it.

  18. Stpetematt Says:

Probably got stepped on and busted his toenail for all we know. And to “Kayla” I have no reason to believe we cannot beat the Bears using the same formula we used against Carolina. As long as Wirfs is recovered, that is…

  19. Steve V Says:

Mcbay…Maybe they can use mayfields thumb swapm out!!

  20. can-we-get-rid-of-Licht-for-godsake? Says:

he’s fine – the Bucs have to go only 5-4 or maybe 4-5 the rest of the season to win the NFC South (Stagg Bowl) title – the next three games could be losses and the team would still be in fine shape – they should probably rest Baker the next 3 games

  21. Larrd Says:

The Bucs should keep running it until someone stops them.

  22. Been there since the beginning Says:

I was thinking Chuk and I was also thinking that the Bears are running on all eight. Every one must be on their A game or things will get ugly fast. We must throw the ball this week as well.

  23. ModHairKen Says:

    Larrd, spot on.

  24. Lightningvinny1 Says:

Ravens trying the Bucs running game plan w that and Defense,,, running ok but penalties killing them

  25. Gary Says:

Maybe sidelining him for a trade.

  26. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Comecout in i-formation on the first play, fake the handoff and go deep.

    No one would expect it.

  27. Stpetematt Says:

Bonzai- that’s funny I was thinking the exact same thing. Play-action BOMB.

  28. SlyPirate Says:

Why is our injury report always longer than the competition?

    Soft, cautious, vets?

  29. adam from ny Says:

i wake in cold sweats in the middle of the night all week thinking the ghost of mike alstott has replaced shaun tucker as the 3rd back…

can you imagine mixing alstott in with bucky and gainmore…how wild would that trifecta be…

if they trade vita to the giants, going with vita is tucker…and coming back is cam scataboo and more…

imagine scataboo with bucky in this offense

  30. adam from ny Says:

i was hoping we would actually draft scam cataboo…

harbaugh can’t handle jameis and wants him on the first bus outta there…

and i don’t think he feels like he can control scam cataboo either…

he already sat him to teach him hard lessons…

so he could be on the 2nd short bus outta new york

  31. gracelivin Says:

I would run play action to either Sharp or Otten up the seam…We have to make Bears D commit to stop the run, come out in 22 or 23, both Gainwell and Bucky and Tightends make it look run heavy then slip TE up the seam it will make safeties stay make and open up the run game. If we can run continue to run…
