What a special night for Bucky Irving. He even got a red zone carry within the 5 yard line for the first time since 2024.
Irving was electric with 21 carries for 165 yards and a touchdown, plus two catches for 10 yards and a TD.
The Bucs’ bellcow back ripped off a 72-yard run with multiple cutbakcs to spark the Bucs in the third quarter. It was the turning point of tonight’s win. The play seemed to energize the entire roster for the next 20 minutes of football.

It also was obvious that Irving fed off that run. He played a with a fire Joe hasn’t seen since 2024, when Irving captivated the NFL as a rookie running back.
On Sunday, the Bucs threw only twice to running backs and not once to Irving. Huh? Tonight, order was restored to the offense in various ways.

It was so good. I honestly had just said “wouldn’t it be nice if he just busted one” and he did. Definitely the turning point for the whole team. Awesome.

Credit to 7 and 10 for overcoming the persistent penalties from 68, 62, 69 and 67. All game. Every game. No one seemingly holding these guys accountable- pun not intended.

The passes to the tight ends had me screaming but they worked. Really good game by the offense tonight. Sans the penalties.

Bucky’s Irving’s 72-yard run in the third quarter — the second-longest rush of the season — covered a total distance of 90.50 yards and saw Irving reach a top speed of 20.43 mph.

O-Line has been horrible this year…every game they kill drives with penalties or protection break downs

This reminds me of the song OH WHAT A NIGHT. Coaches and team needed this with a performance that was epic. Becky had himself a night that may have saved the day for Bowles and players.
The Bucs have been baffling but last night’s break through performance has kept the Bucs alive.
