Honestly, this is the first week in a long, long time that I woke up feeling like today is going to be a Bucs WIN. I don’t even know why. I can’t really explain it, but I’ve just got this feeling in my gut that they’re getting the W today.
Baker has played like crap lately, and somehow Bowles is STILL the coach, so logically, I probably shouldn’t feel this confident. 😂
Everything logically is telling me to be pessimistic. The recent play on both sides of the ball hasn’t exactly been inspiring, Baker hasn’t looked great (downright bad), and there are plenty of reasons to expect another frustrating Sunday.
But for whatever reason, I woke up today feeling different.
I’m calling it now: Bucs get the W.
Maybe I’m completely delusional. Maybe I’m setting myself up for another three hours of yelling at my TV. 😂 But sometimes you just get that feeling before a game, and today, my gut is telling me Tampa Bay is walking out of this one with a win.

You feel this way probably the same reason I do. Can’t explain it other than:
Odds are teams don’t go 3-0
Odds are teams don’t go 0-3
Odds are home teams win
Kyler is an unknown and isn’t very good IMHO
It really doesn’t have anything to do with what the Bucs have shown us so far. They can absolutely lay another egg and keep this streak of craptastic play going. Just got that feeling they win today.

As a fan I always want them to win. Then there is reality. Can they win, absolutely, but they need to play a complete game. They haven’t done this since prior to last season’s meltdown. Swapping some players here and there doesn’t drive the fundamental change needed to win. These guys are more than capable, but the coaching leadership is holding them back. Until this changes its, its the definition of insanity.

When betting football you should always take the better defensive team in general.
Will that always work? No, because Vegas steps in and rigs games at times.
I’d like to see the Bucs defense return to its glory days when Monty was the DC.
But under the master of regression we’ll never see that until he retires.
Watch what the defense of the Vikings does to our putrid offense today.

Fear Factor…In 1997 there was a fear of losing to the Bucs. It would cost your job. I was at the first Buc win at the Sombrero. Quite a day. Fans tore down the north goal post.

Our coach has gone 2-11 in his last 13 games. I can understand why the fans are so upset.
If he loses this game, the Glazers need to seriously reconsider their unwillingness to fire a head coach during the season.
Robinson has HC experience (not a good one). He could at least become interim HC. At this point, the players need to see that accountability begins at the top.

I am in Thunder Bay, Canada and it looks like the Bucs game will be on local television as they are Vikings fans in the region.
Sadly I have not seen a single thing from the Bucs to think they are in for anything other than a butt whopping!

Will the offensive line be able to finally gel and prevent all the penalties against the best defense so far? That’s asking a lot and doesn’t matter how much a quarterback sucks when playing Todd Bowles he will still have a good game plus they have Justin Jefferson

Until the Bucs actually win a game the mistakes will be their calling card. Missed tackles, wide open receivers, a fumble or two, an interception, field goals instead of touchdowns.

Watching the Jags – Pats game and I noticed something. Both teams play really solid football, but the Pats’ pass rush is non-existent today (DLine injuries have been an issue for them). And as a consequence, they’re getting whooped 14-3.
Also noticed that Carlton Davis has played 18 regular season games plus 4 playoff games for the Pats since signing with them in 2025 (missed 1 game due to injury). Amazing how much better he’s doing staying on the field in their defense, even though he made the most tackles of any year in his career.

I say YES, the Bucs win today, Baker finally snaps out of his 13-game funk, looks like a middling NFL QB (huge improvement to be sure) and all the moronic Baker Boi(s) change MVP MVP have has 211 yards passing with 2 TDs.

Anyone see the score so far of the Panthers @ Browns? It’s making me feel a little better. Also, Cincinnati seems to have a good defense, so maybe, just maybe, it’s a mixture of bad Baker play and better ball teams in Ohio than anyone expected…

Again, the Glazers couldn’t simply give Coen the job because of the racist Rooney Rule, which required them to go through a completely bogus hiring process.
Also we have no idea that Coen would have even taken the job if he had other options. He almost certainly knew Baker had a fluke season, also choked in the playoffs, and even in Baker’s career year he still went 0-5 in primetime and playoff games. Coen wanted out of town just like Evans wanted out of town – neither wanted to be stuck with Baker.
