Bucs Injuries Mount
September 23rd, 2026
Today’s official injury report, the first of Week 3, is below.
Joe already wrote about edge rusher Rueben Bain’s groin and cornerback Jacob Parrish’s return. Fellow edge rusher Anthony Nelson was out with a shin issue and inside linebacker Josiah Trotter, the stud rookie, has a shoulder problem.

Injuries are part of the game
San Francisco has lost players for the season
It don’t seem to slow them down

Oh boy, Trotter is hurt!!!!!!! It could go from bad to ugly really quick. Was already hoping they’d bench Anzalone. Can’t do it now!

Walker YaYa and AQM are sufficient – some JBF folks believe Dennis is better than Trotter – so let’s roll with that – Nelson could be ready too – has anyone ever considered that Sterling Shepard was the juju that gave Baker the mojo ? just in a mental sense ? maybe he could be brought back

I don’t see anyone with injuries to their buttocks, which is add considering how Cleveland whipped their asses.

In the NFL you have to adjust on the fly
If you’re not capable of doing it, you don’t belong

Lakeland exactly!! But somehow Bowles got a pass last year, and it sounds like injuries were the excuse why.

Fraud Bowels mount!
September 23rd, 2026 at 7:10 pm
Injuries mount when your team sucks.
They get paid either way. Why put your body on the line for Todd when he doesn’t care.
September 23rd, 2026 at 7:16 pm
I don’t see any way that Bain (or anyone) could edge rush with a groin injury. Not great.
September 23rd, 2026 at 7:20 pm
Losing Trotter would be a blow. He had a great game the first week and watching him last week he always seemed to be around the ball whether he was in on the tackle or not he was in the area. You hate to think that our best linebacker is a rookie with two games under his belt but that is what it looks like. Hopefully he can play will still be effective.

Just because Trotter missed half his high school career injured- and half his college career injured- that is not a reason to worry.
Who would look at an individual’s past to predict their future? Pfft!

Todd Bowles and Jason Licht are good at finding a scapegoat
And the Glazers buy into it
September 23rd, 2026 at 7:32 pm
Well so much for Bain dropping back and covering Justin Jefferson.
September 23rd, 2026 at 7:41 pm
@lakeland exactly

Stuff Bowles in a cannon and FIRE the guy. The experiment is so far over due now. I’ve done my best to stay positive about Bowles, but he’s let us down. All they do is lie to us about injuries and the state of this team. Wipe the deck. It’s over.
September 23rd, 2026 at 8:51 pm
This will be the excuse they use again to keep toilet Bowls around and if Baker is sick and is going to do more harm than good then Daniels needs to start.

Was JMac healthy last week but didn’t get reps as the #4 behind Hurst?
I’d really love to see some 4 WR sets. Get Otton outta there. Rather have an extra OL or Bucky/Kenny staying into pass block or motioning outta the backfield to be a 5th option.
Lose this week and I will be coming to this site only looking for Bowles fired headline. It’s not 2016 anymore… I know it’s never happened with the Glazers but it’s a different world we live in now and I think it’s a possibility.
Licht cannot be happy.
September 23rd, 2026 at 9:22 pm
Kinda sad, but this season is a total wash at this point anyway. If the Glazers would have fired Bowles we wouldn’t be getting the experience of extending last years disaster, but here we are.

BAKER ILLNESS … HILARIOUS
Is he nautious cause of his play?
Is he butthurt from getting his ass kicked by the Browns?
Maybe his back hurts from robbing the Glazers of so much money?
Maybe it’s just sympathy pains watching Licht getting run over by after signing him?
September 23rd, 2026 at 10:00 pm
Does it really make a difference? Bowels is still the coach.
September 23rd, 2026 at 10:07 pm
Lame Bain is already a bust.
September 23rd, 2026 at 11:25 pm
You people with you’re Daniels love are adorable little fools.
September 24th, 2026 at 12:11 am
Bain hasn’t played in the first two games will it really matter if he misses week three
September 24th, 2026 at 12:33 am
Stud rookie?? Good one. Drop like you can cover a TE in the seam or tackle a guy behind the LOS, rookie. Then Joe might have reason to huff you up.

Lakeland sez:
“…and watching [Trotter] last week he always seemed to be around the ball”
Sure, “behind” the ball qualifies as “around” the ball.
1987 sez:
“You people with you’re Daniels love are adorable little fools.”
These are Yuc fans. Expected.

SlyPirate. That’s some funny shlt. It just is.
September 24th, 2026 at 7:33 am
This team feels cursed at times.
September 24th, 2026 at 8:24 am
Bain could use a week off, whether it is injury or fake injury. I like Nelson but Walker and Muhammad should be getting his snaps to see what they can do.
September 24th, 2026 at 1:02 pm
No one wants to go out on the field THey are embarrassed.
Mayfield should p,ay sick, he really might get stomped by the Vikings in your face defense all game long.
