What a dumb slogan.
I am the man
Todd Bowles is the man with one of the worst defenses in the NFL
Jason Licht is the man who has not done crap w/out Brady
Jamal Dean is the man that plays 15 yards of the ball on 3rd and 3
SirVocci Dennis is the man that gets all his tackles 12 yards down the field
Cade Otten is the man that catches the ball and falls one yard short of the first down

I Am *That* Man.
No “the.”

Him again. Who is this Yankee Kook?

What this team needs is an IDENTITY.
You can name some teams. Big and fast. Nasty. Circus tent offense.
Remember the Detroit game? They are known for physical play, so much so that their opponents seem to underperform and lose players for two or three weeks following. And the Bucs? They cratered after the Lions. No coincidence there.
The Bucs reputation ought to be centered on Vita Vea and a fierce interior defense. You need that to support the smaller safeties that Bowles prefers. But when you have no inside linebackers and only one fearsome lineman that kind of defense cannot work.

Still Dumb
5-12 incoming
Todd Bowles gets an extension since the players attend church regularly and visit sick kids in the hospital.
Is it possible Todd Bowles is a make a wish kid?
Gets to coach an NFL team forever.

Brady is a man who wouldn’t have accomplished anything in 2020-2022 if Licht and the Glazers hadn’t signed Gronk, Brown, JPP, Suh etc. They spared no expense and laid it all on the line, including future salary cap problems, to bring that second Super Bowl to Tampa!

When asked what caused the 2025 collapse, Bowles should step forward and say “I AM THAT MAN”!
What an absolute joke we have become.
Just five years ago we were the toast of the NFL.
Now look at the mess made by an incompetent HC\DC and an unqualified GM.
It’s the culture!!! HAhahahahahahahaaha!!!!

Haha, ya’ll remind me of a song “The Man” by smalltowntitans…(i saw them live and was hooked 5 years ago), look them up Joes….anyways
…this little man has done some research this weekend…traded down 3 spots to 18 from a QB hungry team and still landed vega Ioane
1st (18 after trade down) Vega Ioane
2nd (46) Edge R. Mason Thomas
2nd (49) LB Josiah Trotter (-or flip these two picks)
3rd (77) TE Michael Trigg / or TE Jack Endries if Trigg is gone
4th (116) LB Harold Perkins jr
5th (154) QB Sawyer Robertson
6th (194) RB Adam Randall
7th (216) Edge Caden Curry
is this draft possible? the trade will be key and if, BIG IF, they will listen….funny i was pushing for two guys last year who were DROY finalists…. Emmanwori, and one got it (Schwesinger)…..looks like I missed on Braswell though a while back, so thats on me.

The dig that Liam Coen didn’t fit the “I am that man” persona is a reflection of the organization not knowing what the hell “that man” really is.
Especially if they think Bowles is “that man”.

Me and old Junebug, a glass of fine blended whiskey, and our favorite podcast. Life is good. Wirfs was the big story going into camp last year. Who was to blame that he didn’t have surgery after the 2024 campaign? That was the precursor of our 2025 offensive line foibles. Goedecke missing games and then Cody out for the season. Bredeson going down for the home stretch seemed destined. An offensive line, lacking continuity, is the second worse thing a football team can have. The first worse is an offensive line lacking talent. So there’s that. When 3 of your top 4 receivers miss most of the season and then we expect them to look like a cohesive unit. Yeah. Sure. A defensive line that can’t pressure the Quarterback and linebackers who haven’t got the skills in coverage. Add to that possibly the worst special teams in the league last year. Sounds like maybe the best move we can make is signing Malik Willis. Just because he went from Auburn to Liberty doesn’t make him a failure. He’s thrown for 1200 yards in 4 NFL seasons so there’s that. Sage, this league is so QB starved that somebody is gonna hand Malik Willis a fat contract with a chance to start. He’s the type QB that could have stepped right in behind that offensive line of ours and outperformed Baker last year. He would have gotten us to the playoffs at least. Really? Seriously? Baker could be bonafide injured next year like he was in Cleveland in 2021. Surgery required. But he wasn’t injured to that extent last year. And there are still plenty of fingers pointing at Baker being a major component of the meltdown. When actually it was quite the opposite. I think some of those finger pointers have fingers dripping in butter that’s preventing them from getting a grip on the fact that they would choose lobster over steak given the chance they could have had either. Making a choice like that suggests a flaw in the thinking process. As does thinking those little crustacean critters don’t feel pain when they’re dunked in a cauldron of hot boiling water. Come on man.

If Ira doesn’t know anyone who’s watching the Winter Olympics, he needs to widen his circle — ratings are way up for these Games! And they’ve been pretty great: I’d argue the best Winter Olympics since 2010 (last few haven’t been great). Generally agree with Lee that the Winter Games are best appreciated by those who aren’t generally sports fans, though. And appreciate that Steve is an ice dancing fan. I’m gonna stockpile a couple of these podcasts to listen to help with Olympics and football withdrawal next week.
