Bucs On Euro Game Alert
February 2nd, 2026If Bucs fans enjoy traveling, this will excite them. If Bucs fans loathe games on foreign soil, this may cause them to stick more pins in their Todd Bowles doll.
Voodoo is the keyword here because the NFL announced eight games being played overseas this fall. One of them is in Paris.
Why does Joe bring this up? Because the NFL confirmed the slimy Saints will host the Paris game before the snaileaters.
And the Bucs always have a division game annually in New Orleans. The NFL wouldn’t move a division game to Europe, would they? Oh, yes they would. The Bucs played the Stinking Panthers once in England in 2019.
Additionally, there will be an NFL game this fall in Munich. The Bucs are one of six NFL teams with marketing rights in Germany. Will the Bucs play in Europe? We shall see.
It’s been four years so the Bucs are likely due. Joe hopes if the Bucs must play in Europe, they go back to Munich. That place is as close to an American city as you can probably get in Europe.
The locals drive on the right side of the road, there is virtually no language barrier, there’s tons of World War II history all around and the locals guzzle really, really good beer like water. What’s not to like?

Joe… better check the news, Germany has really change a lot in the past few years where Germans feel like they live in a foreign country.

Was in Munich (the Bucs trip was so awesome and there was so much to see, went back) two years ago, 2024. Nothing like what is being hyped in some media circles. But that’s just Munich. Not sure about other parts of Germany
Took a train to Nuremberg and walked around. Didn’t notice anything nicht Deutsche.

I was hoping the Bucs were “all good” for a while regarding these godawful international games. Must be their turn in the stink hole again. That too bad…they highjack a teams routine and momentum.

NFL very soon will require every team to play one game overseas each season. If you think about it, there are 32 teams with several international games played each year. Bucs haven’t played there in four years. So their time is about up. If not this year, probably next year.

The Glazers are moving the Bucs to Manchester. Not Paris. Wait for it. The international Manchester Buccaneers.

Comparing German Beer to American water is a new level of humour, here Joe.

Joe, Munich has been a foundation of European culture since the 12th century, long before Americans existed to claim it is ‘basically like America.’ Treating a world-class Bavarian city like a US-lite outpost is a lazy habit that reeks of someone who never left the tourist bubble. This sad rhetoric is exactly why the comments have turned into a xenophobic dumpster fire. If you want Tampa, stay in Tampa. If you’re going to Europe, try to have enough of a palate to realize you’re in a different country.

Nah, Joe likes America, sorry.
That’s why Joe liked Munich. Reminded Joe of home.

Warning for the Paris game: that stadium is in one of the worst neighbourhoods. A few years ago at the UCL final, the visitors got robbed en masse by the locals. Even a great English UFC fighter was scared for his life (only so much you can do against people armed with knives).
Sucks for the Aints fans.

I know my opinion won’t count with the NFL chiefs but I do not like or want gimmicky foreign games. or Thursday night games either. Gimme games at 1 or 4 at home or away on Sundays. Some Saturday games in December are acceptable if college is over. Keep it simple.

I visited Munich in 1990 and had a blast. Have not been back since though.

My beef with the International gaames, besides the fact that the Bucs are winless in the UK and have only won that one game in Germany against Seattle, is that the Bucs always sacrifice a home game to go abroad but other clubs, like the Cowboys, never give up a home game and are laways the visiting club. Jerry Jones has never gave up a game in the house that he built to play abroad, never ever, while the Bucs have never been the away team in an international game. If the NFL makes the teams each play one game a year internationally, I hope they make Jerry give up a precious home game and make the Bucs be the visiting team every other year instead of losing a home game every season which the Glazers would gladly do for the coin.

i was about to type, we don’t get paris…
then i just peeped the saints schedule for some top billing teams that would get “oui oui pari” all hot and bothered…

so yes, the bucs are def in play for paris…go figure…i really didn’t think they were after initially reading above ^^^
here are my 3 or 4 in play:

vegas…(it would def be them if they were contenders)

all others will def not have paris fans salivating…

The NFL is slowly converting over half of its games to subscription channels. Kinda sad for the regular fans who looks forward to quite a few TV games. Pretty soon, there will be just one Sunday NFL game on Fox and CBS. The commish is greedy.
