“It All Starts With Today”
November 3rd, 2025Nine more games.
That’s what the Bucs have left. Nine more. It’s November. Before you know it, Christmas will be here and the end of the regular season is right around the corner.
Certainly the toughest part of the Bucs’ remaining schedule is the next three games. The Bucs host red hot New England on Sunday, followed by road games at Buffalo, maybe the best team in the AFC, and then at Los Angeles, maybe the best team in the NFC.
If the Bucs go 2-1 in the next three games, Joe thinks that would be fantastic. If the Bucs go 1-2, not great. If the Bucs are swept and go 0-3, the alarm bells will and should go off.
If the Bucs go 3-0, Joe may have to start making reservations in Santa Clara for February.
“It all starts with today,” Bucs outside linebacker YaYa Diaby said today from One Buc Palace. The Bucs are now off their bye and reported to One Buc Palace to begin preparation for the Patriots, and the rest of the season.
Starting today is the message Todd Bowles had for his players and they shuffled in fresh from their bye week.
“Coach Bowles stated that we don’t want to be that-team,” Diaby said.
What team would “that” be? Well, the Lions got thumped by the Vikings yesterday. Detroit was coming off their bye. Lions coach Dan Campbell thought his team was rusty.
Diaby said Bowles told the team they best rid themselves of rust.
“We don’t want to be that-team and come back from a bye [and lost] just like what happened to Detroit,” YaYa Said. “It all starts with today.”
So it seems whatever the Bucs did on their bye, that’s all in the past. They’re back to work. And the focus is on the Patriots.
“We don’t want to look ahead because that’s when you mess up,” YaYa said.
And the Bucs clearly don’t want to mess up.

Well… the last 6 games are a flippin cake walk…
Hopefully they can go 2-1 over the next 3 games… obv we want 3-0.
But even 1-2, then the last 6 are stat padding games…
Bucs do need to play as if they are already in the play offs, and begin honing in on dominating all phases of the game. No mistakes. Be perfect. Shut down every drive defensively. Play clean on offense.
November 3rd, 2025 at 3:26 pm
No cakewalks in the NFL, especially not for the Bucs. It’s stupid to utter that nonsense.
November 3rd, 2025 at 3:28 pm
bowles has these players ready to roll!!!!!
start checking hotel & air bnb prices joe!!!!!!!
GO BUCS!!!!
November 3rd, 2025 at 3:31 pm
dont really see any “cake walks” lol….
imo, the teams under or around .500 for the most dangerous teams…they’re all trying to put out good film for their next HC & GM…and divisional games are always tough….
with that said, start checking hotel & air bnb prices in Cali!!!!!!
GO BUCS!!!!

If they refuse to upgrade through at least one trade they will definitely go 0-3. After that, depends on team morale what will happen. Licht being equally as stubborn as he is great at drafting, will watch his team sink to 9-8 and either miss the playoffs or be a wild card…maybe. The team is too beat up to successfully compete.
November 3rd, 2025 at 3:44 pm
I think they go 2-1. When the boo-hoo ing from bucs fans is at its loudest this teamplays well.
I’ve heard nothing but boo hoo ing from the peanut gallery this past week
November 3rd, 2025 at 3:46 pm
My inside source tells me they are not getting ANY of the injured back for “at least” the next 3 games! That means some are probably done.
November 3rd, 2025 at 3:47 pm
6-2 is more than a respectable record.
However, the season begins anew next week. How they handle that tough stretch of games following the bye will be telling. A patchwork OL a depleted WR corps a beat up Baker Mayfield and a first year OC that finds himself swimming against the tide. The defense finished the first part of the season on a strong note. Can that same defense now establish consistency. For the first time in a long time the defense will be expected to do the heavy lifting.

Right on Durango, this from the depths of the site digestive system.
November 3rd, 2025 at 3:57 pm
We are going to need those picks to replace Evans and David. Better to steal a player from someone’s practice squad.
November 3rd, 2025 at 4:00 pm
Let’s just hope the Bucs practice perfect execution and detail this week. Then hopefully the rest factor will revive our offense. I would love to hear Bucky’s back sometime this week !!
Go Bucs !! Beat the Patriots !!
November 3rd, 2025 at 4:03 pm
I’ve been saying, they beat the Pats at home, lose to the Bills in Buffalo, and ? to the Rams in LA. Should come out at worst 1-2, at best 2-1. Either way, their record will be 8-3 or 7-4. If they are 8-3, all they need to do is win 4 of their last 6 games to hit 12-5. At 7-4 they would have to win all but 1 of their last 6 games. A little tougher, but no impossible. To get to 11-6, and a possible tie-breaker with the Bucs, the Panthers would have to win 7 of their next 8 games, including two with the Bucs. That just is not going to happen. I remain optimistic!
November 3rd, 2025 at 4:12 pm
Let’s hope they are ready. I forget but haven’t we struggled coming out of the bye here recently?
November 3rd, 2025 at 4:15 pm
2024 we actually did really well coming out of the bye. It was 22 and 23 where we struggled.
November 3rd, 2025 at 4:22 pm
If this team Falters and goes 0-3 it all falls on Licht. He knows the weak points and did nothing to shore it up.
November 3rd, 2025 at 4:34 pm
813BUCBOI…if Bowles goes 1 and done again…he’s toast!!!!
You heard it here first!!!
November 3rd, 2025 at 4:46 pm
Goedeke practice window opened today. That’s terrific news. Hopefully means we see him by the Rams game at the latest.
Bucs win Sunday. Very happy to hear Bowles message coming out of the bye. Talk is cheap but I think Bucs come ready Sunday.
November 3rd, 2025 at 5:26 pm
Being realistic is not “boohooing”. It’s stating fact and likely outcomes based on facts. We will have a follow up discussion after the Rams game. Inaction on the GM’s part based on his view of hope is ridiculous. Fact, the Oline right side is abominable. Fact, Mayfield has had the crap beaten out of him because of the Oline. Fact, we have no idea if or when Bucky, Big 67, or Godwin will return. Is that boohooing? Hardly. It’s irritating to listen to ESPN and hear the strong have gotten stronger with a trade while this GM sits on his hands and talks about hope. Ridiculous!
November 3rd, 2025 at 5:41 pm
PSL, I love it, look right pass the Pat’s like their last 5 wins did “including Buffalo, they beat in their house!” I thought after 5 straight wins they would have their down game against Atlanta and they did but still got the W. Bucs will be in for a wake up call if they take the Pat’s lightly. They are young ans hungry. Drake Maye is the real deal!
November 3rd, 2025 at 5:49 pm
Thank heaven the Bucs are 6-2 at present.
If we go 1-2 over the next 3 games, we’ll be at 7-4
If we go 4-2 over the last 6 games, we’ll be at 11-6.
And that’s pretty much exactly the record that the majority of JBFers thought we’d have before the season began … 11-6.
Will that be good enough to win the NFC South? IF we can at least split with the Panthers and Falcons (and sweep the Saints), then yes, it SHOULD be good enough to win the NFC South.
Will that be good enough to get us top seed in the NFC & get a pass on Game 1 in the playoffs? Heavens no. But the key is ‘1 step at a time’ and Step 1 is Make the Playoffs. Get invited to the dance and anything can happen. Evidence 2020.
November 3rd, 2025 at 6:09 pm
Just beat the Pats at home with something resembling a competent OL, play call flow, and SirCoverNada on the bench for passing downs.
Already writing down the Rams as a loss.
November 3rd, 2025 at 6:12 pm
To YaYa’s point…Detroit shot their silver bullet vs the Bucs and got boat raced at home vs The Minnesota McCarthy’s. Detroit players and fans as well as Joe Buck & Aikman acted as if they won the Super Bowl two weeks ago vs Tampa.
November 3rd, 2025 at 6:24 pm
ARE YOU NUTS?
For those criticizing Licht for not making a trade, let’s examine:
1) 2025 Outlook
We’re going to win the NFCS (x5 is a record), make the playoffs (x5 longest NFC streak), and make a run at the Super Bowl. Which NFCS team would you rather have?
2) 2026 is Loaded with Picks and Cap
We’ll be even better next year. The same people complaining about not trading would be complaining if he did.
3) Question: Which Trade Wins us a Super Bowl?
Answer, none. Not one guy that’s been traded wins the Bucs a Super Bowl. You wanted Phillips? He has one more sack than Anthony Nelson.
November 3rd, 2025 at 6:28 pm
Fun fact, the Bucs are currently heavily favored to win the NFC South -770,,,, to the non bettors that means you have to bet $770 to win $100,,, that’s a big favorite ,,, the bad news is EE is now the second favorite for OROY behind Dart ,,, I’m not sure Dart is all that as his team will probably end up 6-11,, but hey he’s a QB and they get the nod
November 3rd, 2025 at 6:30 pm
Winning all 9 games would be a great way to enter the playoffs with a bye and momentum.
November 3rd, 2025 at 6:32 pm
If Todd forces Griz to fix his Leftwurstian offense and Baker can keep his limbs attached to his body (and hit Rachaad with a pressured pocket when he’s wide open) , the team will get between 10-12 wins.
November 3rd, 2025 at 7:04 pm
One game at a time!! Next up… New England who has a better record than the Bucs at 7-2!! If BM6 is healthy again and can get the O off to a fast start that would be awesome! If the D can play like they have the past 2 games that too would be awesome! If we get dominant line play on both sides of the ball that would be awesome!! The Bucs need error less ST play too!! If the Bucs can make all of these things happen, the Buc’s can bring in another W!!!! Make plays!!! Get it done Men!!!! Get it done!!!!
November 3rd, 2025 at 7:15 pm
So tired of hearing people pleading, demanding, hoping for a trade. IT ISN’T GING TO HAPPEN AND NEVER WILL!
Stop your delusional thinking. You know who our GM is and how he values draft picks over malcontents, almost-greats and over the hills from other teams. Licht has a track record to show that he does very well with those picks and an ego to believe he’s great at making those picks no matter what the average Joe Bucs fan might think. (I am, of course, above average)
November 3rd, 2025 at 7:30 pm
Bucs management seems to have made a blood oath NOT to trade away picks, or otherwise mortgage the future in any way
November 3rd, 2025 at 8:43 pm
🤣🤣🤣 this team is not superbowl ready are you FN nuts. My lord what are you guys watching. No wonder Donny Hustle sits in the oval.
November 3rd, 2025 at 8:46 pm
Ravens traded a conditional 5th rounder for Dremont Jones who would have immediately been the second best edge rusher for the Bucs.
28 years old, $8.5 million, 4.5 sacks
November 3rd, 2025 at 8:46 pm
Patriots look okay but definitely beatable. Drake’s for real and they’ve had a lot of “explosives” but our secondary has been a strength recently so if our D keeps playing like it has been I like our chances there. Josh McDaniel IS A VERY good O. C. but I think Todd will have the D ready.
Offensively I have no idea what to expect from us. I have my ideas about what they should do, but so does everybody else, and unfortunately the professional football coaches aren’t looking for suggestions from the comments section.
Fortunately the staff and players seem to be keeping their minds in the right place. Going to take everything we’ve got just to beat the next team on the schedule. Everybody is a threat and potential L. One day @ a time boys!
November 3rd, 2025 at 9:07 pm
“28 years old, $8.5 million, 4.5 sack”
Anthony Nelson, 28 years old, $5.5 million, 3 sacks, 1 INT, 1 TD, 2 FF on in just accounting for being on the field for 34% of our total defensive snaps
November 3rd, 2025 at 9:34 pm
I have had faith in Baker since he played with my Sooners!
I have followed him through all his ups and downs. I still have not lost that faith. I never wanted Bucks to win so much!
Hang in there Baker I know you can best their butts
Go Bucks!
November 4th, 2025 at 6:36 am
Bowles is 2-5 as a HC coming off a bye week. So until proven otherwise we are “that team”.
November 4th, 2025 at 7:23 am
NE Fan, I’m definitely not taking the Bills lightly. They’re a good team. I just think that after a bye week and playing at home will allow the Bucs to come out of this game with a W.
November 4th, 2025 at 8:00 am
we’re going 3-0 in our next 3 games!!!!
GO BUCS!!!!
