Me and the old hound ain’t gonna get comfortable with our favorite podcast tonight. Rednecks lighting fireworks early and old Junebug is restless. Nice hearing from Bill Parcels. Sounds like he thinks Bowles and Mayfield can do it. Thought it funny he didn’t want to answer questions about Belidunce-except football questions. So Sage asks how come Belidunce record is so bad without Brady. Sage, that’s funny. So you say Parcels “ bristled”. Sounds like he didn’t want to talk about Belidunce and football either. “It’s not solitaire”. Right coach. Mayfield may not be a top 5 QB guys. But his team led the NFL in 4th quarter points last year. And his team led the NFL in third down conversions last year. This team is definitely one of the top 4 in the NFC this year. The three behind us in the NFC this year I think are going to be the Rams (one more rodeo for Stafford), and then the Commanders and the Bears will be the surprise. Philly and Detroit back a bit and the 7th spot the Cardinals. Dallas, Green Bay, Minnesota and the 49ers will have to wait until next year. Wondering if Bowles is gonna be feeling the heat? I’m with the Sage on that one too. I don’t think it’s gonna bother him a bit. His expectations are probably higher than anybody’s. And he doesn’t look scared to me. Not even a little bit. This team has been good for the first 5 years of the 2020’s. It’s gonna be much better the last 5 years of the 2020’s.

Fun story about Parsells! Enjoyed it.
I didn’t like Schiano and felt sorry for Josh during that entire fiasco. Always felt that Schiano brought a lot of the drama.
Interesting about Penix. Happy to hear about him giving back to the community. That is awesome. Disappointing that they now made his FL town a Falcons town though.
