Tom Brady Rode Leonard Fournette About His Patriots Visit

June 7th, 2022

Before Leonard Fournette returned to the Bucs with a fat free agent contract in March, he packed a bag and visited the Belicheats in New England.

Joe was given quite a take on that visit during an off-the-record chat, and Playoff Lenny likely was a lot closer to signing there than he knows. So it’s probably a good thing that Tom Brady contacted Playoff Lenny to voice his disapproval of the move.

Fournette spoke to Tampa Bay media today and relayed a story of then-recently-unretired Brady reaching out to him about the mid-March visit. [Brady] was like, “Man, what’s your ass doing up there, man?”

Fournette said he told Brady he had things to figure out, but ultimately he knew he would want to come back to Tampa for 2022 and beyond.

Playoff Lenny didn’t say it was all about the money, but logic says it was. Playoff Lenny did say he’s very happy with his new multiyear deal in Tampa.

Glad he’s back ! He’s turned out great. I was wrong, I thought Rojo would be the one but… you need to know how to catch and block

  2. GOB Says:

The injury to Damien Harris left Bill with a rookie back for a portion of the season. I think he would’ve traded Harris, had LF signed. I’m quite sure the deal Tampa gave him was better than Bills offer. Not so sure it was Brady, but the cash. Still, would’ve loved to see him in the red white and blue.

Can’t wait for Rojo to screw up when we play the Chiefs

  4. SB Says:

Be careful what you wish for Parrish.
And I have no idea why you would wish failure on him.

because ROJO was a lazy ass

The first and last things out of your filthy sewers will be MAN!! Do you maggots understand me? Sound off like you got a pair!!

    Man, yeah man.

No Hate for RoJo, he grew up more than any other player I have seen, guy looked like a Complete Bust. Ended up in the Bucs record books most likely for all time, unless someone pulls off the old 99 yard run.

Lenny seems content, glad to see it, he is a favorite Buc. He aint all mentally messed up about some other running back got paid better or whatever, seems glad to of found a home on a team that needs and wants him.

  9. westernbuc Says:

Former buccaneers always have their best games against us. Pick RoJo to have a good one, at least for that week.l

I’m glad we paid for Lenny. If we want our 45 year old QB to survive, we need a commitment to the running game

You all seem to forget Honey Baggers statement about Rojo in the SB. “This guy is running like he was Walter Payton!” That’s a pretty good compliment if you ask me. Given the chance Rojo may make the Bucs pay for the disrespect. IMO, Bucs RB coach did a shatty job with this guy. The running out of bounds and lack of pass blocking doesn’t just happen in one game and the lack of conditioning is also a coaches failure.

RoJo is going to be a workhorse for Andy reid.they will feed him the ball and he will get well over 1000 yards the Chief’s will utilize him the correct way.
