Greg Hardy Tour Books Seattle

March 17th, 2015

lovie 1110bA little more than a year ago, Lovie Smith said he liked the winning models of the Panthers and Seahawks.

So how about now?

When Lovie made that comment, free agent manbeast defensive end Greg Hardy was the edge rusher for the Panthers’ 4-3 defense.

And today, per ProFootballTalk.com, Hardy will head from his free agent visit with Dallas — where’s Lovie’s friend Rod Marinelli runs the Buccaneers’ Cowboys’ defense — to the headquarters of the reigning NFC Champion Seahawks.

Man, it sure seems like the Bucs should be taking a close sniff of Hardy, considering they have a gaping hole at right defensive end.

T.J. Fatinikun was a very nice midseason pickup last year, but he’s not the answer to what ails the Bucs’ defense.

No Greg! They wont match what we can pay you….none of them will. Come to Tampa!

  5. bucrightoff Says:

He’s not coming to Tampa. He’s signing a short term deal with a contender so he can do like Revis and make even more on a long term deal after playing well for a contender. Unless the Bucs wanna overpay with a 5 year deal, he’s not even gonna make the trip.

No way he finds his way to Tampa after visiting Dallas and Seattle.

Maybe like wisinski the dude just doesn’t want to play here has anyone thought about that? Murray went and signed up with the eagles to play his former team 2 times a year and fight in the playoffs. maybe he’s full of himself or something but I doubt seattle feels like they would have to pay as much for his services as say the bucs would or Atlanta. they dude is that overhyped free agent of 2015, theres always one and I think we won that award last year with multiple free agents

It is hard to imagine Hardy passing on the cowpokes and the seasquawks, such storied programs and all. I get the feeling this guy just does’nt want to play for the Bucs. Damn the baggage, go all in and see if you are still rejected.

He will sign with Seattle. 2 win Lovie can’t get anyone but his former players to come here

Hardy see the BUCS D and would probably know what they can be as a d-line with McCoy and Co.

Hardy could be using those 2 stops to drive up his price before visiting here. He would be playing with GMC. Will make for a potent line. Sign him!
