Bud Light Bottles Up Warren Sapp

“Alex” has had a rough last few months.

The so-called Bucs superfan watched his beloved team nosedive into the worst lot in the NFL, 2-14 (though they won the Chase for Jameis). That is nearly enough to quit drinking (one can only guzzle so much to numb the pain).

Now, it seems the man who threw Alex’s ultimate Bucs party is out of the loop as well. TMZ.com reports Bud Light has dropped former Bucs great and Pro Football Hall of Famer Warren Sapp from its campaign. Thus, Sapp won’t be throwing any more parties at Alex’s house.

This move comes in the wake of Sapp getting pinched for whoring, and charged with assaulting two women in Phoenix early Monday morning.

It ya all your fault Alex! You didn’t act nearly surprised enough! This lead to sapp craving that little but of extra, so he went out and partied and got in trouble. Good job Alex good job.

  2. Ray Rice Says:

The hooker bottled his a$$$ up too!

  3. theodore Says:

    Thank you, PFT:

Sapp barges in wearing full pirate regalia, complete with a parrot on his shoulder.
Of course, if the producers ever wanted to expand the 30-second spot into a longer feature, they could always add footage of Sapp searching for the booty in Phoenix.
Of course, then it would have to be rated AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHH.

  4. armchairGM Says:

    He was up for whatever!

  5. ddneast Says:

Great Buccaneer football player who brought pride and swagger to the team but a poor human being.
Bet that waitress he stiffed on a tip and the countless other people who he was rude to are all believing in Karma now.

  6. biff barker Says:

Sapp has pretty much become an embarrassment to the Buccaneer franchise. No small feat either.

  7. Tom Edrington Says:

That chunk taken out of Sapp’s butt is where he has been bitten by Karma quite a few times now.

  8. WS99 Says:

Of course, then it would have to be rated AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHH.

    Lmao. That’s a good one!

  9. WS99 Says:

I drink Stella anyway. Don’t get me wrong I like buds but I certainly don’t drink’em, if you know what I mean.

  10. Supersam Says:

This is bad timing for The Winston lovers, negative publicity against women is not helping the cause for Winston at all. It actually makes drafting him even less of a possibility now. Tampa needs to try and fix there image after the last 2 years of the Schiano Freeman crap and the MRSA and now Sapp.

  11. Robert 9 Says:

all over a dispute with a hooker. how stupid. pay her and tell her tho GTFO. if it means more money to keep from making a scene, pay her more. stupid is as stupid does

  12. Sapp, STFU Says:

The way I see it, we’ve been the pretty boys for how many years? Look where it got us. One championship and countless years of dreg.

I’m falling in line with the Winston idea. Bucs need to win now or it’ll be time to walk the plank and write this team off.

Before you jump on me, I’m a long time season ticket holder. I get to express frustration.

  13. The Buc Realist Says:

This is a perfect time for HBO! While other company’s are running scared from Sapp HBO should sign him up for a cutting edge sports show! That’s right I think there needs to be

    Football and Ho’s Show !
    Hosted by Warren Sapp
My only problem is that he needs an Ed Mcmahon type for him to play off of.

  14. WS99 Says:

    Realist

Farve would be perfect! They can have snapchat and Ashley Madison as sponsors.

  15. The Buc Realist Says:

    @ws99

Nice, but just in case Farve says no, we should line up Harold Reynolds and make the show host announcer LT!

  16. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

The only way this looks bad for Winston is if the Glazers take down his number from RJS.

  17. WS99 Says:

Oh dam LT, now you’re just taking it too far.

  18. Espo Says:

That idiot can come party at my house. Just leave the street urchins somewhere else please.

  19. Yar Says:

ESPN will pick Sapp up and pair him with Irvin.

  20. Joe Says:

ESPN will pick Sapp up and pair him with Irvin.

Irvin works for the NFL Network and was fired by BSPN.

  21. The Buc Realist Says:

    WS99

I was about to suggest Mike (house party) Williams, but I thought that would have been too much! And he would want to play the horrible cave-man-gang music at the end of the shows!

  22. Buctebow Says:

Sapp acted like a sap. Repeatedly. He won’t change. Reaping what he sowed. Too bad.

  23. pick6 Says:

didn’t his NFL network pal michael irvin get busted with a lady of the night and “a friend’s” crack pipe sometime after his HOF induction? i think all warren has to do is come out and tell people he’s found jesus and is very sorry, and it’ll just fade away in a year or two. of course, he’d need to stop being a jerk moving forward, and i’m just not sure he’s built like that

  24. Rob Says:

I love how the beer company is climbing up into their ivory tower.

  25. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

I don’t condone his actions, if what has been reported is accurate, but I do believe too many people are jumping the gun on this…including the NFLN.

Say, for example, he thought he was picking up a chick the normal way, gets her up into his room and she tells him it costs? He proceeds to tell her to leave, but she refuses, partly because she knows she can make a scene and get paid, and partly because her pimp knows she entered the room and had better come out with cash.

Because she refuses to leave, he tries to make her (within his rights). There is some shoving and yelling, and the chick calls the cops.

I’m not saying this is what happened, but anything is possible until we hear to TRUE, FULL STORY.

I, for one, will not be insulting the man. As I said, I don’t agree with that kind of action, but I don’t think it’s right to judge him for it either. After all, most of you would whine about being called sinners and being judged, right? There’s a double standard there somewhere.

  26. lurker Says:

    @bonzai

but, there were 2 women. sapp maybe good at pulling, but he ain’t tricycle good. 😉

  27. ddneast Says:

Bucbonzai, the two “ladies” were from an escort service he contacted. As for the rest, you are right, everything is pure conjecture.
As for MRSA and Freeman/Sciano affair tarnishing the Bucs image, Supersam, I’m sorry but I don’t follow your biased convoluted thinking.
First of all, if you know anything about MRSA, you know you can contract it anywhere. In fact, one of the most probable places you can contract it is the sterile environment of a hospital.
Second of all, the Bucs handled it professionally. They alerted everyone and the NFL of its presences and had the facility cleaned twice professionally to combat the problem. Quite different than how the Browns handled the problem a few years earlier.
As far as Schiano/Freeman, I see no skulduggery there either. Freeman was playing lousy due to personal problems and was benched. He then went off and pouted like a little girl.
As far as Sapp, since he he hasn’t been a Buc in over 6 years, I see no way he tarnished the team in any way.
If that was the case, the New York Giants would be frozen in fear of making a mistake after all the shenanigans LT has perpetrated over the years.
So please, stop the hysterical rantings and hand wringing, all of these matters combined together aren’t even worth a notice out of the Bay Area.
Relax and go get your nails done, samantha.

  28. Barry Says:

You ain’t seen nothing yet. #TheCreepyCrab

  29. ChessMaster Says:

Wont pay me? Girl slams her own face into a wall. Still wont pay me? Dialing 9/11……. I think I am close.

  30. Buccfan37 Says:

Give Sapp a break. I know he is a jerk but I still like the guy. The Bucs have tarnished themselves with all the lousy efforts mostly year after year.

  31. BoJim Says:

    I feel bad for him.

  32. Jerry Says:

We are all human with our failings. Hopefully he can right his ship and get it together.

  33. Harry Says:

No people. Stupid a$$ told the cop he did not assault the Ho’s, but he admitted he hired them as prostitutes. Dumb, so dumb. But then, it’s Sapp!

  34. Jerry Says:

    Harry,

“Judge not lest you be judged”.

  35. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

    Sheeeeet…that’s my boy!

Warren Sapp you’re STILL my favorite Buccaneer of all time.

    Brooks comes in 2nd….

  36. JimmyJoe Says:

Why does every one want to drop kick a guy in the nuts right after his whores wouldn’t put out?

  37. NucIfUBuc Says:

Party on Sapp, he’s a crack stem away from LT status. And I still love him…..

  38. Brandon Says:

Sapp got himself hookers and assaulted both of them…just living the pirate life.

  39. StPeteBucsFan Says:

Sapp barges in wearing full pirate regalia, complete with a parrot on his shoulder.
Of course, if the producers ever wanted to expand the 30-second spot into a longer feature, they could always add footage of Sapp searching for the booty in Phoenix.

Or if they wanted to achieve more accuracy they could represent the way Sapp ACTUALLY treated Buc’s fans.

He’d come to the party and tell everybody to eff off and not to bug him. After all he IS the GREAT Warren Sapp.

Karma is a beotch eh Warren!!!
