YaYa Diaby Ruled Out For Bears Game

November 6th, 2026

Out.

Only one Bucs player, as of Friday afternoon, will not make the team flight to Chicago to play the Bears on Sunday night.

There will be no Italian beefs or deep dish pizza for outside linebacker YaYa Diaby this weekend. He sprained a knee in the win over Atlanta and, per Brianna Dix of Buccaneers.com, KitKat-eating Bucs coach Todd Bowles ruled YaYa out.

But what about Emeka Egbuka? The second-year receiver has missed the past two games with a concussion as well as a foot injury. His status is less known for Sunday night.

Per Dix, Bowles said Egbuka will likely be listed as questionable. The rest of the squad? They all appear good to tangle with the mighty Bears.

  1. Todd Says:

    More David Walker-Yeah

  2. Idaho Buc Says:

At this point we should trade Egbuka. He doesn’t do anything but be hurt and drop the ball.

Seriously always hurt. He had a stretch of a few games early rookie and hasn’t been a factor. Period.

At least Godwin sets up blocks for the run.

  3. ProffeserVonBrainStorm Says:

Ya Ya is worthless anyway. Cut him already.

  4. Simple T Says:

Bummed for Yaya but we (finally) have a few guys to get after the QB.

  5. Allen Lofton Says:

Steve Smith, retired NFL receiver from the Panthers in an interview did a study/interview on why Emeka is a number 1 receiver. He is very high on him.

He wasn’t injured much at Ohio State. but has been on the injury report for much of this season. Just let him heal so that he can be available for a late season run by the Bucs in the playoffs.

  6. McBaye Says:

Radical and thought provoking suggestion from ProfBStup. Cutting a productive young OLB because of minor injury would certainly be addition by subtraction.

  7. Beeej Says:

We now have tons of edge depth. What a difference a year makes

  8. unbelievable Says:

More David Walker is good, but better with YaYa on the other side.

Bain is not the guy yet.

  9. OurYear Says:

Most simpleton fans ( and local media) we have. Hero one week, zero the next week. Glad u idiots aren’t GM’s. Remember a few years ago after a few early misses, people wanted to cut McGlaughlin. lol. Hurst was gonna be the next Jerry Rice in preseason, now people want to bury him. Trotter, good but Joes have anointed him the next Derrick Brooks. Bauer is the new Gronk after 19 snaps and people want to cut Cade. Devin Culp was the next George Kittle one week, a bum the next week. Yaya was the next LT, now cut him. All of these things said by the exact same people. Ignorance runs rampant here sometimes…..

  10. Show Me Your TDs Says:

OurYear, agreed 100%. No offense, but it’s mainly the new-name commenters. Also, I predict YaYa has a monster game against the Lions after two weeks rest.

  11. VancouverBuc Says:

Except for 1 game this year, and going back to the last half of last year, YaYa has been MIA. Use Walker more and put YaYa on the bench.

  12. Woodman Says:

WTF ? What are you talking about Idaho that’s a bunch about BS Egbuka is our best rec. He is injured and only in year 2 you don’t have clue ? Stay in Idaho and go to the potato bowl !

  13. Les Says:

SOME OF THESE COMMENTS ARE JUST STUPID . EBUKA IS STILL A ROOK. ,HURST IS STILL A ROOK , GODWIN IS NOT BEING USED ,JUST LIKE TEZ . ZAC HAS NO PASSING GAME CLUE AT ALL. . AND J MAC IS SORELY MISSED . NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WHEN COACH COHIN WAS HERE .ITS ALL ON NO EXPERIENCE COACHING WIDE RECEIVERS, ZACK’S.
    WEAKNESS.
