Bucs Injuries Mount

Today’s official injury report, the first of Week 3, is below.
Joe already wrote about edge rusher Rueben Bain’s groin and cornerback Jacob Parrish’s return. Fellow edge rusher Anthony Nelson was out with a shin issue and inside linebacker Josiah Trotter, the stud rookie, has a shoulder problem.

Oh boy, Trotter is hurt!!!!!!! It could go from bad to ugly really quick. Was already hoping they’d bench Anzalone. Can’t do it now!

Walker YaYa and AQM are sufficient – some JBF folks believe Dennis is better than Trotter – so let’s roll with that – Nelson could be ready too – has anyone ever considered that Sterling Shepard was the juju that gave Baker the mojo ? just in a mental sense ? maybe he could be brought back

I don’t see anyone with injuries to their buttocks, which is add considering how Cleveland whipped their asses.

Lakeland exactly!! But somehow Bowles got a pass last year, and it sounds like injuries were the excuse why.

They get paid either way. Why put your body on the line for Todd when he doesn’t care.

I don’t see any way that Bain (or anyone) could edge rush with a groin injury. Not great.

Losing Trotter would be a blow. He had a great game the first week and watching him last week he always seemed to be around the ball whether he was in on the tackle or not he was in the area. You hate to think that our best linebacker is a rookie with two games under his belt but that is what it looks like. Hopefully he can play will still be effective.

Just because Trotter missed half his high school career injured- and half his college career injured- that is not a reason to worry.
Who would look at an individual’s past to predict their future? Pfft!
