Long Injury Report

November 9th, 2023

Long list.

Several Bucs players either didn’t practice yesterday nursing bumps and bruises or they were limited in practice.

That’s the results of the first injury report of the week. Here is the long list below:

Did Not Participate
CB Carlton Davis, foot.
CB Jamel Dean, concussion.
WR Deven Thompkins, personal.
DB Josh Hayes, concussion.

Limited Participation
G Matt Feiler, knee.
RT Luke Goedeke, foot.
DL Logan Hall, groin.
WR Trey Palmer, neck.
DT Vita Vea, groin.

The Titans, who the Bucs host Sunday, had 14 players on their injury report. Joe will focus on the names that count.

Titans quarterback Will Levis has a bum foot but he was able to get through the full practice. Backup quarterback Ryan Tannehill was limited with a bad ankle. Cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting has a messed up thumb and did not practice.

Our soft, overpaid CBs would skip a game with a runny nose if they could. These guys have no killer instinct at all. Look at guys like Ronde, Deion Sanders, John Lynch, Ed Reed, Troy Polamalu, Joe Haden, Rod Woodson, even Bob Sanders for a minute. These are some DBs that would wake up early and walk thru a wall to get the chance to bust a receivers ass. Play injured, whatever it takes. These two wouldn’t bust a grape in a fruit fight. They’re too fat & happy off the SB ring & huge contracts, the Conor McGregors of the NFL, skinny Albert Haynesworths if you will. And now it looks like they’re angling to miss time. I don’t know if it’s due to embarrassment, lack of faith in the charmin soft zone they’re being asked to play, or they’re butthurt bowles called them out for the first time ever. Oh well, it’s a Bucs life! At least I won’t have to watch Davis halfass shoulder tackle people or touch them down after somebody else made the tackle for him.

    Did Not Participate
    CB Carlton Davis, ego.

  4. Lt. Dan Says:

If lack of pride qualified as an injury, the Bucs would have a list of players and coaches about 30 men deep.

  5. Miller5252 Says:

Carlton Davis should be in the injury report for 4th degree burns.

  6. Conte Piscatelli Says:

Funny, I don’t remember Carleton Davis participating in the game in Houston either, so no change in his status

  7. Ricardo Says:

Carlton still in the burn unit? (Sarcasm)

  8. Irishmist Says:

The Titans were sure that Tannehill gave them a better chance to win than Levis. Until Tannehill got hurt. Then they learned otherwise.

  9. Bucsfanman Says:

I remember in the off season the emphasis on getting Dean signed. The ROI was not worth it, IMO.
    The best ability is avail-ability.

I see these fans are still crying about last weeks game. Some of y’all need to go back and look at the percentage we were in zone which doesn’t fit our DBs then look at the stats on when they do play man. I’ll tell you what you see you’ll see that in man coverage we have given up the least amount of TDs best in the league. in zone we are the worst. Not so much on the players and more on the coaches for not playing to our guy’s strengths. J. Chase from the bangles who a lot consider a top 5 WR called Davis the best DB he’s gone up against. Did he sheet the bed last Sunday yes but for the most part he shuts down the opposing teams best receiver. Davis and dean will bounce back. Quit the belly aching geez
