BY IRA KAUFMAN

Take a good, hard look at your Tampa Bay Buccaneers. You won’t recognize ’em next season.

In tumbling to 4-7, the fumbling Bucs now must win at least five of their final six games to avoid another losing year. Does this team look capable of a run like that?

Hardly.

It’s time to face the music at One Buc Place, a funeral march toward major changes. Even another division title seems unlikely in the wretched NFC South as the Falcons and Saints are now each a game up with six weeks remaining.

Sunday’s 27-20 setback at Indianapolis followed a typical pattern: Tampa Bay fell behind early, made a fourth-quarter push and ultimately came up short.

The culprits this time around — poor run defense, a couple of key penalties and subpar pass protection. It’s hard to believe this club was once 3-1 and seemingly on its way to a third consecutive division crown.

Todd Bowles, now 12-17 since replacing Bruce Arians, contends the mistakes are correctable. What else can he say?

Todd Bowles is out of answers and likley out of time. Ira Kaufman explains.

Soon, we will find out what the Glazers have to say about a franchise that has lost its way. Buc fans now turn their attention to a quarterback-rich 2024 draft, hoping Jason Licht can find a few difference-makers to return this club to relevance.

There are season tickets to be sold, so you will hear a lot about Drake Maye, Bo Nix, Michael Penix Jr., Jayden Daniels and J.J. McCarthy in the next five months. You will also hear about Bill Belichick and Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson because this is likely to be a fifth consecutive losing season for Bowles as an NFL head coach.

The Colts are nothing special, yet they were good enough to beat a Buc team suddenly riddled with injuries. Tampa Bay fans have every right to question whether Indy should stand two games better than the Bucs at this point.

Here’s how the Colts sent Tampa Bay packing with a sixth loss in seven games.

* Something’s wrong with Tristan Wirfs. He practiced all week despite a sore ankle, but he hasn’t looked the same for a while. He was bullied on Sunday and his normally superior footwork betrayed him as the Colts came hard off their right edge. Wirfs is a gamer, trying to play through injury, and the Bucs have no cushion in the standings to sit him down next week against the 1-10 Panthers.

* Rachaad White enjoyed a breakout game with 100 yards on 15 carries. He ran with power and purpose, helped by some stellar blocking between the tackles. His 38-yard dash was his longest run as a Buccaneer.

* Mayfield returned quickly after an ankle injury to finish 20-of-30 for 199 yards and two TD passes, but he also threw an early pick and lost a late fumble that crushed Tampa Bay’s final chance. He was sacked six times and appeared to hold the ball too long on occasion. He’s tougher than an $11 steak, but the fact remains Tampa Bay has topped 20 points only three times in 11 games.

* With six weeks remaining, it’s hard to make a credible case for re-signing Devin White. He continues to over-run plays, he takes poor angles and struggles to wrap up. Licht won’t like admitting he made a mistake tabbing White with the fifth pick in the 2019 draft, considering the Jags grabbed stud pass rusher Josh Allen at No. 7.

* Carlton Davis rebounded from some forgettable efforts and played well with 10 tackles, two passes defended and his first interception of the season. That’s the kind of impact Bowles expects from his high-priced corner.

* Vita Vea didn’t make the post-game stat sheet. Zeroes across.

* Just when it looked like the Bucs would score a touchdown on their opening possesssion for the first time in 2023, they were undermined by a yellow flag in the red zone. On second down from the 1-yard line, Aaron Stinnie was called for a false start and Tampa Bay ended up settling for a 3-0 advantage. Stinnie was also whistled for holding on third-and-4 from the Colts 33 in the second quarter, erasing White’s 8-yard run and leading to a punt.

* A blown coverage by the Bucs on fourth-and-1 led to a 30-yard reception by tight end Mo Alie-Cox. When Bowles watches tape of that bust, he’s going to be sick.

* Even while Chris Godwin struggles to make an impact, Mike Evans keeps on trucking. He reached the end zone twice at Indy and there’s a decent chance he catches the 100th TD pass of his career by the end of next season … no matter what team he’s playing for. Only 10 receivers in league history have reached the century mark, so Evans continues to build a compelling case for Canton.

* At this point, the Bucs require a rebuild rather than a reset. There are keepers on this roster, but not enough. Licht, who has had only three winning years since becoming GM in 2014, needs a dynamic offseason to secure his long-term future.

I agree, rebuild is what is next. Blow it up.

  2. Oxycondomns Says:

Licht has created a stale roster with a stale coaching staff

  3. Hunter Says:

I still find it hilarious that people think Licht is to blame for anything at all….y’all are dumb….so dumb

  4. Hodad Says:

    Licht needs to go also.

  5. Larrd Says:

    Licht always has dynamic offseasons.

  6. Tbbucs3 Says:

Jason Licht deserves the most blame for this loss today……For ruining the roster of last year’s solid defense by letting too many affordable players walk and replacing them with Greg Gaines and Ryan Neal.

I haven’t seen a Bucs run defense get pushed around like that since 2018.

If you haven’t watched Greg Gaines, he does absolutely nothing and creates 0 push.

  7. Bradinator Says:

I cannot imagine Bowles getting another season. Bring Evans and David back. Under no circumstances bring White back. Coin flip on Godwin, I hate to say. We didn’t draft a QB last year since it was a lame year for QBs. This year’s crop are way better. Get one of those. Brady’s presence taught us that a stellar QB covers a lot of holes. They are that important!

  8. Bucsfanman Says:

It’s hard to argue at this point. This team is just bad. There were so many bad plays in this game that you could clearly see that it’s time to blow it up. Coaches AND players!

  9. Tbbucs3 Says:

“Licht, who has had only three winning years since becoming GM in 2014, needs a dynamic offseason to secure his long-term future”

Great take Ira, unlike Joe who seems to think Licht should get a forever Superbowl pass because of 1 run with Brady/Arians who will not be walking back in that door.

  10. BB Says:

They need to keep David, Evans, Wirfs, Winfield. They will get rid of neal, baker, some of the journeyman olineman and White. They really need to replace davis and dean as soon as they can but next year may not be an option.

  11. Frank Pillow Says:

Ira, as much as we all like and respect Licht it probably time to say goodbye.

  12. Craig Says:

I am not saying that Baker has been all bad here, but he has some flat spots where he moves backwards at the start of most halves.

It is time to see if Licht wasted another second round pick on Trask.

He may or may not be something special, but Arians talked some into something, so we really need to know.

Hot Toddie has never been a Trask fan, but to heat up his seat Licht needs to get Trask off the bench and into the game.

An MRI for Baker might be an excuse for this POS game, but it fails as badly as the on field game has.

Trask threw two catch able passes in two attempts, if penalties or drops did not haunt this team. and its coaches, that would have been a starting position on a 4-7 team.

Most of the rest of the ten things are too ghostly for the real world.

  13. Jeebs the Honey Bear Says:

Licht did everything right to build a championship roster, recruit a championship coach, and then recruit a championship QB. He proved he is capable of putting a winning formula on the field.

The issue is that the latter two retired, winning led to lower draft picks, and Todd Bowles is not a good head coach.

Now Licht needs to prove he can draft the right QB and get the right coach as the Bucs try to become relevant again. He’s earned a leash of 3 years to produce something viable.

I hope he can do it.

  14. Davenport Says:

The Licht stat at the end is pretty damning. Unless Bowles was forced on him, it’s looking like time to blow the whole thing up.

  15. IrishTony Says:

Licht is to blame. He could have nixed Arians desire to have Bowles as his successor. Who the hell was running the show? He could have added free agent backups to the injury prone Corners prior to the 2021 season when the team still had cap space. In the draft he could have selected a “violent” running back, or a decent edge rusher over the course of the past 5 years (failed miserably at this). Now he has; a below average d line with a total of like 8-9 sacks, below average edge rushers (I love Shaq but his days are numbered), an overrated LB who’s about to be released (White), and two injury prone corners with crappy backups. Might need to be a change at GM as well.

  16. HC Grover Says:

    The worse team lost.

  17. AMI_Chris Says:

In the final analysis, Licht’s only true winning move was to sign Tom Brady

  18. Zzbucs Says:

Tristan Wirfs is playing with a high sprained anckle, that’s really tough.
I disagree in CDlll, He made the interception, because the ball went directly to his position, he just had to catch it, just take a look at the tape and you’ll see he is most of time out of position.

Not so sure about a rebuild, but same changes for sure, new Coach staff, new QB, and no more CDlll devin white,

Salary cap will be in much better shape next year, good draft in QB ,LB, OLB and CB, nd make good free agents additions on OL and DL

  19. IrishTony Says:

I’m sorry but Licht lucked out by getting the Goat. Any other QB and that 2020 team would have been average to above average. Look at what they had in 2019. I wanted him gone after the freaking Chris Baker fiasco.

  20. TampaBayBob Says:

Time to burn this MF’r to the ground and start fresh. Not that Mayfield has played poorly, but his ankle injury may be serious enough to usher in the opening act of the Kyle Trash Expierence. God help us all!

  21. Sly Pirate Says:

I’m a huge Licht Fan but I would agree he needs a great offseason. Licht can draft WR and OL. He’s gotten pretty good at FAs. His ability to draft OLB and RB isn’t good. He got stiff armed into hiring Bowles. He built a SB winner and took a legit shot and title #2. He dug us out of SB-contract hell. Let’s see if he can build another winner. It needs to start this off season.

  22. Cobraboy Says:

Time to see what Trask is.

  23. TonySoprano Says:

Holy crap, am I hallucinating?! Did this site finally actually place some blame on Licht for this piss-poor roster? DWhite, OJ Howard, JTS, Hargreaves, Jameis….the amount of 1st round misses is astounding. And his 2nd round track record is even worse.

  24. Miller5252 Says:

I said in another post White shouldn’t even be playing. But saying he wasn’t the right pick at 5 isn’t correct. Any GM in the league would pick him at 5 if they knew he was a big reason they would win that Super Bowl. The dude has fallen flat on his face since the Super Bowl, but he was huge in getting there and winning it.

  25. Curse of Gruden Says:

    Has Bowles been fired yet?

  26. Dave Pear Says:

    Another Todd.

    Monken.

    Takes the reins in 2024.

  27. Saskbucs Says:

Get Bowles outta here! I knew they were gonna lose but once again the end of game management was a farce. Should have called TO after the 3rd down stop. If did that, wouldn’t be rushing to get a play off before 2 min warning and avoided the penalty. Then before the sack they call a run play. No! Evans Godwin and Palmer need to be streaking, Otton and White need to be block/check down options. Why do these guys make it so hard on themselves.

  28. Old School Bucs Says:

I have said it a million times on this site. No Oline and a defense that cant win games. To many big plays. Yes White rushed for 100 today, but almost all outside red zone. This line cant get it done most of imes never mind in the red zone!!! The line is soft, weak, and gets pushed around when it counts.

Hey Joe, can you talk to the players again and get them to talk about Brady and how it is good that Brady isnt here, like Brady wad the problem last year?

This team is full of a bunch of pathetic losers who had a 7 time superbowl winner and still doesnt understand what wins in the NFL!

  29. unbelievable Says:

Agreed on almost all points except:

Davis deserves zero credit for that interception. It fell into his lap due to mistake by Minshew.

  30. TheBucsAnthem Says:

I’ve been saying this for weeks now……

The players aren’t giving their 100% best effort because they’re now in “quit” mode…….

These players are not going to risk injuries or their careers by going at full speed for a lost season….especially considering now it’s almost 100% this whole coaching staff will be fired at on Jan 8, 2024……”Black Monday”

Bowles knows it now…..and so does probably the rest of the coaching staff too.

  31. Greg Says:

Devin White is busy playing with his horses.

  32. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Bud Licht

    3 winning teams in 10 years…

Time for this fraud to beat it..

  33. BucsFanSince76 Says:

HIRE HARBAUGH AT ALL COST AND PUT HIM IN CHARGE OF EVERYTHING.

  34. ElioT Says:

    Licht needs to go too.

Gotta blow it all up at once and cleanse the franchise of this stench.

Just a horrific product being sold right now, and it’s gotta stop.

  35. Tony Marks Says:

    Craig Says:
Trask threw two catch able passes in two attempts, if penalties or drops did not haunt this team.

    —-

Go ahead and show me the drop . Pro trask people have been trumpeting this for the last few hours but the film shows a pass thrown with no space to get feet down.

    Wrong throw by trask.

  36. Defense Rules Says:

Nice article Ira, but I’m not sure that ‘the Bucs require a rebuild rather than a reset’ is even feasible at this point. Rebuilding SOUNDS like the optimal path forward, but the Bucs don’t have any draft capital stockpiled, and our salary CAP situation is a mess (yes, even for 2024). In short, we’re screwed, blued & tatooed.

We don’t even have a decent starting place to build from. Name just one real strength on this team; any position group with strong starters AND viable depth. It doesn’t exist. Yet most teams in our situation would dump expensive vets to improve their salary CAP situation AND to stockpile draft picks. That’s how reasonable teams start a rebuild. We can’t do any of that. Even if we start by drafting a QB this year in Rnd 1, he’ll get pummeled because our OLine is sub-par. They’d be nicknaming him ‘Happy Feet’ or ‘Dancing Bear’ within a few games. I’ll be surprised if even JL survives what looms on the horizon now.

  37. BucsFanSince76 Says:

HIRE HARBAUGH AND DRAFT JJ McCARTHY-HARBAUGH RUNS THE SHOW WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MIKE GREENBERG-BUH BYE LICHT!!!!!!!!

  38. ElioT Says:

    Gotta say too.

VITA VEA = Overrated, not a difference maker.

  39. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Blow it up!

But by all means, keep coach Keith Armstrong.
    🤦‍♂️

  40. steele Says:

Unfortunately we’re seeing the result of too many offseasons in which Team Glazer and Licht failed to replace (much less upgrade) major talent that was lost. A great OL. JPP, Suh, and other impact guys on D. Brady. Gronk. Even the Lenny/Rojo backfield, as problematic as it was, hasn’t been comparably replaced. You’ve got veterans who have not improved or regressed, or simply haven’t been coached and led to get optimum out of them.

Which brings us all to what is obvious, Bowles and everything he insisted on bringing in, to put his personal stamp on things. Putting a guy who has never succeeded as a HC, and a barely adequate DC, in charge of revitalizing an already shaky team was not a good idea.

Big changes have to be made, and over the course of years now.

  41. Jmarkbuc Says:

    DR

Clearly and irrefutably, we need a GM.

    Bud Licht should be ashamed.

Greenberg does all the financial heavy lifting anyway…

  42. ElioT Says:

    🤣

  43. ElioT Says:

    @steele – good points

@jmark – can you imagine Licht opening excel for the first time on his laptop? “What are you?…”

  44. dbbuc711 Says:

I would like to see Jim Harbaugh but to get someone of that caliber he would probably want to bring in a GM that he is comfortable with.

  45. BuxfaninTX Says:

…..and just a few weeks ago this blog was putting Licht in the Ring of Honor

  46. Voice of Truth Says:

  47. Tony Marks Says:

    Defense Rules Says:
We don’t even have a decent starting place to build from. Name just one real strength on this team; any position group with strong starters AND viable depth. It doesn’t exist.

    ——

That correct so what you have to do is look reality in the eye and say 2024 is off the table as well in terms of your long term rebuild. You draft the QB you can which at the 7-10 slot isn’t someone you think of starting till some where in 2025. You sign a vet QB for 2-3 years as your bridge keeping your existing players like Mike and Godwin interested. then with some cap room and a few more picks you are on your way to the rebuild.

Problem is the fans and media for the bucs don’t want to look reality in the eye so will moan at the most realistic build. They’ll continue to say – we have Evans and Godwin so we should be contending. If you are smart and the Glazers you forget about those fans – They aren’t filling the stands anyway.

  48. Buckeyebuckchuck Says:

Winning 5 of the last 6, no way. 4 is possible because thats how many putrid NFC south games are lined up ahead. And the roster is more shallow than bad, the injuries are piling up but you have nobody decent behind them except a bunch of rookies. Thats what happens when you’re 55 million over the cap and eat the pain in one year. Probably why the smart guys and talking heads and talking heads had them pegged as a 2 to 5 win team at the start of the year

  49. Brandon Says:

We can say what we want about White. I desperately wanted Allen over him… but we won a Super Bowl maybe in large part due to White. I’m not sorry. That being said, he shouldn’t be re-signed and Licht should absolutely be retained.

  50. adam from ny Says:

ehhh, this game was the death sentence on the season right here…

it’s a looong road simply back to .500 from 4-7…

    win 3 in a row 4 of the next 5….looong road…

this team has spiraled into nothingness with this coach…

1-6 in last 7 means you are playing carolina panther and patriots type football…

somehow we have become one of the 3-5 worst teams in the league…

    the land of nothingness…

    absolutely zero identity…

bowles has introduced the team to the land of nothingness…

last year he showed us zombieville…

but this year he had more in store………..

    #TheLandOfNothingness

  51. Winny Testaverde Says:

Time for LichtWeight to return to scouting somewhere else. Big brother BA & Brady can’t save him now. Ira may be giving him too much credit to say he’ll be around for the rebuild. The Bros.Glazer must be scared of him or something.

  52. Jmarkbuc Says:

    dbbuc

That’s exactly how Bud Licht got here. Lovies choice.

We really missed out on Lynch. Don’t know who the next Lynch is.. but we should be finding out.

  53. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Adam

Bud Licht had plenty to do with this land of nothingness.. long before the Arizona Experience rolled into town.

Licht and BA both swindled a few more paychecks. Dumb luck.

  54. David Says:

What happened Ira to your favorite qb, Baker ? Are you going to admit you were wrong ?

  55. adam from ny Says:

very hard on the fanbase to have a 3-1 hot start and then plummet to the bottom of the league post-brady…

it’s like going cold turkey off cigarettes or a drug…

it’s like going on a hardcore diet and fasting for days…

    i wasn’t ready for this bucs experience…

i don’t think anyone was after the new culture had been implemented by BA & TB12…

do you think BA is shaking his head at his disciple as he watches him operate in this bufoon like manner…or is TB12 utterly awestruck as he watches these bufoon-ish like decisions coming from the bucs sidelines?

    i really don’t know what to say…

if guys like wirfs are giving up 2 sacks, have they thrown in the towel (i know he has a high ankle issue) ?

if coach doesn’t challenge that ME13 low cradling of a ball they said was a drop?

if coach would stop leaving games with a pocket full of timeouts, like it’s a pocket full of hundies…

it looks like guys are checking out or just about too…because a win vs carolina doesn’t solve a dam thing this upcoming weekend…

    not a dam thing

  56. SBucs Says:

Doofus and Todd need to go.

  57. donuts Says:

If Licht can land Bill B, he will keep his job. If he cannot, he should be cleared out too. From the entire 2019 draft (which had 5 DEF players drafted in first 5 picks – Bowels), the only men standing are White, Dean and Nelson. This has really hurt our roster.

  58. adam from ny Says:

i’m not gonna comment much because there’s not much good to say these days…

losing 6-7 your season is over…

losing 4 in a row usually means a lost season…

so do the math on losing 6 of 7…

i don’t care if we’re in the worst division in the history of the nfl…

this team is done, and coach hasn’t a single answer to fix it…

CD3 came to play today…he meant business out there…he’d been playing poorly for a bit…that was really good to see…

and we finally get a 100 yard game from rb1 and we still lose…it’s like there’s no fix…even godwin dropped that trask touchdown…

sundays are no longer fundays……..it’s not good…

they did look good, real good in the all pewter today 🙂

  59. Duane in Sanford Says:

Licht had to pay the piper this season, and almost pulled it off. Going to be an easier turnaround with the extra money, and better draft spots next season. Worth playing out to realize 45, Dean, Ryan, and JTS are all paper tigers. Shaq is healthy and MIA, Vea shows up part time. These are all Bowles guys, and not one of them showed up today. Lots of players playing for future paychecks from here on out. Still like our chances of future success more than the other teams in this division regardless of outcome.

  60. Tbbucs3 Says:

Reminder Bill Belichick is the “mastermind” behind the literal worst team in football who just lost to the Giants.

    Pass.

  61. Toad Bowels Says:

The Glazers team should move the team to Montreal where they are used to losing. The Tampa Bay Rowdies and tractor pulls can move back to Tampa and replace the Bucs next year.

  62. Boltsfan17 Says:

Total front office, coaching and roster turn over. Blow it all up.

  63. TheLaughingMan Says:

Harbaugh isn’t the answer…Bucs are cash poor for the next 2 years, is it because of Bradys contract so GL with that one.

All they can afford is a mediocre mid tier HC till that albatross is off their necks.

  64. Bosch Says:

When the likes of Chris Godwin, Tristen Wirfs, and Vita Vea become under achievers, it can only mean the HC has lost the team. Raheem Morris all over again.

  65. HC Grover Says:

So if we beat the Panters and the Stanks and Falcons lose the Bucs are at the top of the NFC South at 5-7.

  66. Mostly Peaceful Trask Fan Says:

Any other team any other coach any other beat writers any other fan base…

Baker would be benched after losing 6 of 7

    But not this group.

    Nope!

There isn’t a lick of sense anywhere to be found.

  67. BucsLoseAgain Says:

Let’s look at who the Bucs have drafted in rounds 1 and 2 since Licht came to town:

    2014: Evans, Austin Seferian-Jenkins
    2015: Winston, Donovan Smith, Marpet
    2016: Hargreaves, Spence, Aguayo
    2017: OJ Howard, Justin Evans
2018: Vea, RoJo, M.J. Stewart, Carlton Davis
    2019: Devin White, Murphy-Bunting
    2020: Wirfs, Winfield
    2021: JTS, Trask
    2022: Hall, Goedeke
    2023: Kancey, Mauch

First round picks have typically 50% bust rates. Licht’s first round picks are 60% busts (Winston, Hargreaves, Howard, White, JTS, Hall). So he is below average there. As for the second round guys, I see mostly mediocrity and guys who currently play for other teams.

That’s not how you build a team for the long-haul.

Licht is the issue and the Glazers are at fault for keeping him as long as they have.

  68. adam from ny Says:

    HC Grover:

if your scenario happens, i’d venture to say atlanta’s in first…

we’re in second because we lost to atlanta…

    new orleans is in 3rd…

that’s my guess, but i’m sure there are some other factors as well…

    5-7 = lol

  69. BucU Says:

It’s officially the Christmas season. Which means nobody will be interested in this trash team for the rest of the year. Pathetic, uninspiring and just plain awful. Bye Todd. It’s been real.

  70. Bee Says:

Mayfield leads an offense that scored over 20 pts 3 times in 11 games. Damn.

  71. matthew a veal Says:

No rebuild ira, please. its too hard to watch now as it is. lets see what some cap space and another decent draft will bring.

  72. Pittbucfan Says:

Rah rah! Can’t wait to watch another high first round QB become the next crab legs, marital, fields or leaf. Everyone be like go pick a franchise QB off the damn tree. Build the f#cking team around this QB. This dude got balls. Sh#t, if f$@king dilfer can win a SB with a quality team around him. Baker can. Rah rah, go Caleb, I need my cry time. Smfh

  73. Pittbucfan Says:

Oh, and all y’all hollering to hopefully get billecheat wake wtfu. The dude fell into a pile of dog sh@t and came out smelling like a rose because of a 6th round pick. A dude that maybe can be drew bledsoe’s backup. He’s showing his qualities. He wasn’t sh@t canned by the sh@tty browns because he’s a great coach. Wow

  74. Karl Says:

Since it’s the Christmas season, here’s my ” Dreaming of a…. Christmas” wish. Sometime this week Jason Licht walks down the hall to Bruce Arians office and says ” hey Bruce, I’ve got a favor to ask”. BA walks down the hall and knocks on Todd Bowls door and says ” listen Todd,we tried, but maybe your just not HC material. But that’s ok I think your still a great DC,or can be. How about we let you figure out what happened to this embarrassment of a defense and I’ll put the Headset on”!. Next,BA walks down to Dave C’s office, can’t find him until he looks out the window and sees him walking around in circles trying to figure out how to get ONE yard with 4 chances. Bruce says ” hey Dave, how about you step back for a bit and let me see what I can do”. The Bucs then go on a 10 game winning streak and win the SB…… It could happen….. I did say it was a ” dream” didn’t I… Morning Joe

  75. Boomer10 Says:

Ehhhhhhh, after reading all of the comments….
We won our first Super Bowl with Brad Johnson as our QB.
How many 1st round QB’s has Tampa Bay drafted ——
    Jameis Winston
    Josh Freeman
Trent Dilfer(won a SB with Baltimore)
    Vinnie Testaverde
Steve Young – yes for you young guns – we drafted Steve Young.

You ruin a 1st round QB with a poor offensive/defensive line.
Ask David Carr – sacked 76 times his rookie season, 208 times in his 1st 4 yrs
You don’t ever come back from that kind of beat down.

With a decent Offensive Coordinator, better line play on both sides of the ball and a decent run game….Baker is functional if he doesn’t have to win games all by himself.
