Once Again, Tom Brady

March 23rd, 2022

Recruiting.

Joe cannot remember who said this but it was spot on about Bucs quarterback Tom Brady.

When Brady announced he was coming back to the Bucs, within hours it seemed two key Bucs free agents the Bucs seemed braced to lose, center Ryan Jensen and cornerback Carlton Davis, agreed to re-sign with the Bucs.

And this is what Joe heard:

The night Brady announced his retirement, he sent out the bat signal. It was time for everyone to come back home and fight crime against the evil villains of the NFC.

Now per Albert Breer of SI.com, the bat signal seemed to flicker for Playoff Lenny. He wanted top-five cash. The Bucs were not going to give that to him. So Playoff Lenny began a road tour.

Just hours after his first stop with the Belicheats, Playoff Lenny came home. Breer, typing on Twitter, said Brady “aggressively” worked on Playoff Lenny until he wore him down.

When the greatest of all time wants you, it is best to heed his words.

Joe honestly cannot think of another Tampa Bay athlete that meant more to his championship franchise than Brady has. What other athlete not only played at a top-shelf level like Brady but also recruited all sorts of All-Stars?

Joe hopes Team Glazer already has a sculptor in mind for a statue of Brady in front of the Stadium on Dale Mabry Highway.

Let’s goo. Crazy how before Brady unretired it was looking a little gloomy for the Bucs n now shooot we have the best offense in history. Making Tampa great again let’s gooo

  7. Hodad Says:

One reason Brady came back was because he knew this offense would be better in year three than when we won the S.B.. That’s why talk of Tom wanting to go to S.F. were, are such bull. Tom knows how hard it is to learn a new offense, and how it takes years to get good in it. He ain’t starting over at age 45. So look out. He’s back, and so is most of the offense. The best might be yet to come.

  8. Bird Says:

Oneil disagrees. One player doesnt make a difference. Its the defense. Its the team man. And heck the former guy got one player to come here-desean. Until that soured after one season and then it was zero

Again , we have the worst fans

  13. Stanglassman Says:

Bird bring up someone SN just to disrespect them when they’re not even in the thread is N.C.

    Yes that’s from fat Albert.

  14. SPARKY Says:

Yep VSyl, but yet the so called experts will give the MVP to Rodgers because he has less interceptions. Tell them experts that Nick Foles had 27 tds and only 2 interceptions one year and they didn’t give him one MVP vote. Brady puts up best numbers, is assistant GM, assistant HC, and head OC. Maybe this year he’ll help on defense.

  15. Esteban85 Says:

No doubt the true MVP of the NFL. Improves teams on the field and off. Does the job of head coach, GM, and all time greatest QB. Give the man a statue, a fat TB12 contract, a book deal, movie deal, hell change the name of Ray jay to Tom Brady the GOAT stadium.

  16. Crickett Baker Says:

Brady no way, but it is certainly time to change the name of the stadium.

  17. Buczilla Says:
