Virus Knocks Ke’Shawn Vaughn To Reserve List

July 27th, 2020

“Jason, get on the phone with Rosenhaus and see what Devonta Freeman really wants.”

The Sickness is altering the plans of our beloved Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Veterans report to training camp tomorrow, but rookies and quarterbacks arrived sooner. When a player checks in to One Buc Palace, he gets a full screening for COVID-19, which includes a medical test for the virus but also a battery of questions.

Whether rookie Bucs running back Ke’Shawn Vaughn actually has contracted COVID-19 or was exposed to someone who has is unclear. Regardless, either one got Vaughn placed on the team’s official reserve/COVID-19 list today.

There should be clarification coming tomorrow from Bruce Arians as to what that really means for Vaughn and when he is eligible to return, and whether he can participate in the team’s online meetings.

If Vaughn is ill, Joe certainly wishes him well.

Per Buccaneers.com, the COVID list entails:

The new reserve list category was created for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons. If a player falls into either of these categories, his club is required to immediately place the player on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Per agreed upon NFL-NFLPA policy, clubs are not permitted to comment on player’s medical status other than referring to roster status. Clubs may not disclose whether player is in quarantine or is positive for COVID-19.

Every week is going to be like this…who is on the list for the next couple weeks? And when will it be a starter? Ouch… Get ready for a rocky roller coaster ride.

  2. BucsFanForever Says:

The Dolphins had to place 3 players on the reserve/COVID list:

Veteran cornerback Cordrea Tankersley, long-snapper Blake Ferguson, and defensive tackle Benito Jones are the three players that have been placed on the reserve/Covid-19 list…

Prayers for the young man. He only has a 99.9998% chance of survival.

  4. BucEmUp Says:

    Willie G I know…so scary.

Smartest thing to do is get everyone sick as quickly as possible wo they can all.play the entire season!

  5. Roy T. Buford Says:

“Smartest thing to do is get everyone sick as quickly as possible.” I’d bet Dr. A. Fauci would ban you from the country if he heard that comment! LOL. Actually, if we could back this all up a month, that would likely be the best bet for NFL players statistically. NO, not saying it is realistic or smart and not trying to be insensitive (I do know this is serious stuff)…but for sure, young and healthy…get it and be done. May be just a sore throat and fever for a day or two and you’re good.

  6. Roy T. Buford Says:

Here is the bright spot. Barring any major complication with young Ke’Shawn, he can get better and focus on getting football better. Wish him a speedy recovery…if he even feels sick at all.

  7. Etzel Says:

You guys still think there will be a season???? HA!!

    THANKS A LOT FLORIDA!!!

  8. Roy T. Buford Says:

We have heard the saying “a picture paints a thousand words.” Joe has mastered that by making a picture paint a thousand stories. Pretty good caption!

I gotta say though I’m getting tired of the cockeyed, bad Brady haircut picture, the picture of him with is wife (pick one), and of the three Glazers standing around talking. But it’s GREAT not to see the JW3 and GMC93 pics much anymore.

  9. mark2001 Says:

But Roy…there isn’t proven long term immunity. And if one can get it a second or third time, there is no “one and done” strategy. And as many of these lineman guys are vastly overweight… supposedly doesn’t make a difference fat or muscle… they are in a higher vulnerability category.

  10. Anonymous Says:

Do we know if the Bucs are doing antibody tests as well? And identifying those who’ve already had it? I would think all teams must do both.

  11. mark2001 Says:

And if you have a wife, a child, or parent who is particularly at risk from the disease, you certainly wouldn’t want to get it and risk giving it to loved ones.

  12. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

Starting to look more and more like all these major sports leagues are going to have to dial it back.

Floridians think it’s a game and want to cry because they have to wear a mask … I hope the NFL decides to cancel the season because this virus is no joke … just wait until September when the gal comes this virus is really gonna spread … because we have a stupid president and his mini me running Florida should have shut down the state

  14. Jerry Says:

So what happens when 10 of them get sick all at once like what’s happening to the Marlins?

They need to just forget about it and wait for vaccine (if there will be one).

  15. ob Says:

Leave the kid alone. Many more to come. Respect his privacy and he will be back as many more will be as well.

  16. Miketb19 Says:

For starters we don’t even know if he’s even sick or it’s just a precaution if a close family member or something of that got sick so this could be a nothing burger and he’s in the building next week so I’m not to worked up about it these guys are being tested every single day and have access to some of the best medical care on the planet there’s normal people who could only dream of those things so let’s see how things play out over the next week or so

  17. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    Three good things.

    They discovered it.
    It’s early
    It’s not DARE!!!

These guys need do be extra careful to distance and wear masks…..I highly doubt that Vaughn was…..but, I don’t know so we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.

This should be a stark warning to all players……take care of yourself.

For the “let’s just give it to everyone crowd” and get it over.

    Please consider…

326 million Americans. Current Mortality rate overall… 150,000 out of 4.4 million cases. That is a 3.4% mortality rate. Multiply that by 326 million Americans… that is about 11 million American. And that doesn’t include reoccurance or long term injury caused by this virus.

In other words… compare that to over 600,000 that died in the Civil war, 117,000 in WWI and 407,000 in WWII together. Unacceptable.

  20. AlabamaBucsFan Says:

Feel sorry for Vaughn. This is going to set him back, but in all honesty, all rookie are going to be behind this year. It is going to be a crazy season for all teams. No team is going to escape from this Chinese virus.

    @Mark, all good points. I wasn’t being totally serious…

All that said, would be interesting to hear they will separate squads. Will they do shower shifts? Chair separation in the dining room/cafe at One Buc? Will they indeed keep Ryan Griffin sequestered from the team but working out with a couple of guys on the playbook?

  23. mark2001 Says:

Roy..just posted awaiting moderation… regarding giving it to the population..
326 mil time currently 150 thousand mortality out of 4.4 mil..3.4% equals 11 million Americans. And that assumes immunity and doesn’t consider long term illness. I’m glad you weren’t serious…but some actually are.

  24. Joe Says:

In other words… compare that to over 600,000 that died in the Civil war,

The biggest cause of death in the Civil War was… disease.

  25. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

I just can’t understand anyone who will continue to call this a “hoax.” Are 150,000 dead a hoax? Black lives matter has it totally right. DeSantis, who is Trump’s “Mini Me” has totally blown it. Somehow, he continues to go down with the ship for failing to require masks as Floriduh will soon lead the nation in Coronavirus cases.

  26. Tampabaybucfan Says:

I am quite convinced that the protocols the NFL have put in place are quite solid……the problem for the players isn’t on the field or at One Buc Place…..it’s at home and what they do when they are away that puts them at risk.

    FAKE NEWS!!!

  29. Pok Says:

This is why the roster should be 65 players. You want 18 game season? Build the rotations and depth with a larger roster. Let practice squad players be eligible to play up until kickoff and expand the squad to more players know the system and contribute. There are lots of athletes. Add more bye weeks so more recovery time- and if you start now you have covid better covered. At least Vaughn won’t be able to get sick for the playoffs!

  30. Oneilbucs Says:

I was just asking I saw it on the Google News if anyone kneel he will quit.

  31. Tampabaybucfan Says:

No, Tom Brady didn’t threaten to quit if teammates kneeled during anthem
    IF YOUR TIME IS SHORT
    Brady never said this.

The quote was fabricated on a satirical website.

See the sources for this fact-check
In his more than 20 years in the NFL, Tom Brady has usually avoided making public comments on political or hot-button topics.

That’s why recent social media posts claiming that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback said he would quit if his teammates kneeled during the national anthem looked especially suspicious.

And sure enough, the quote is fake. It originated on a satirical website.

That didn’t stop people from sharing it in posts without any disclaimers to indicate it was fabricated.

One Twitter user posted the satire story’s headline, “Tom Brady: ‘If Anyone on My Team Kneels, I Quit,’” and then wrote, “Do you agree with him?”

The phony quote originated on the America’s Last Line of Defense website, which contains a disclaimer that says everything posted on it is fiction.

  38. BucsFanForever Says:

Mark – your math is fine, but to get to what is called a infection mortality rate you need to estimate the number of COVID-19 cases that were never reported because the infection was asymptomatic. In NYC, in May, they did a study that showed that people with COVID-19 antibodies were 10 times the number of reported cases. Here is what the study found: “19.9% of the population of New York City had COVID-19 antibodies. With a population of 8,398,748 people in NYC ,this percentage would indicate that 1,671,351 people had been infected with SARS-CoV-2 and had recovered as of May 1 in New York City. The number of confirmed cases reported as of May 1 by New York City was 166,883, more than 10 times less.

At the time of the study, NYC had 23,000 deaths. The total estimated to be infected was 1.7 million, or an infection mortality rate of 1.4%. The mortality rate for the entire NYC population would then be 0.28% (23,000 divided by 8.4 million.

The final mortality rate in NYC will likely be higher, but not 3.4% due to asymptomatic cases. Here in Florida, our deaths have not climbed nearly as fast as new casees.

It gives us more freedom in that we probably will never catch it again.
However we got lucky with no side effects so far.

  41. stpetebucsfan Says:

The current estimates for a vaccine are later this year. It will take some time to scale it up and distribute but by next spring we could have it truly under control.

IE…a vaccine will be here long before we have time and lives to waste to get herd immunity.

But the horrors that await us until that vaccine. OMG…wear a freaking mask…the indignity…humiliation…it’s awful…wash your hands more frequently with hand sanitizer and physically distance from others. THREE things that have been consistent advice from the beginning and THREE things that other countries did to control their rates of infection.

Patience grasshoppers. It’s not like WWII…this time next year we’ll be back to normal. Meanwhile in 1943 the Cleveland Rams were given permission to suspend operations for the entire season and the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Philadelphia Eagles combined to become the Phil-Pitt team known to the fans as the Steagles.

  44. Greg Says:

@BFF says. Your computations are precise but unfortunately as most understand the mortality numbers are BS. The money trail rewards Covid deaths and there is no way to accurately state the actual percentage.

  45. Cobraboy Says:

    @Vegaspreneur:

    The proper protocol is:
-200mg of HCQ twice a day for five days,
-500mg Azithromycin once a day for five days, and
-220mg zinc sulfate once a day for five days.

This is also prophylactic as well as effective therapy.

I, for one, will NOT get the vaccine. Not a chance in the world…

  46. Cobraboy Says:

@Joe: you are correct: infection of wounds, especially staph infections, killed many more than bullets and cannons.

  47. Sport Says:

Anonymous – it’s not that your math is wrong, it’s just incomplete (by a lot).

The CDC has stated they believe the actual number of people infected by the virus is 10X more than is tested.

The death numbers are also wildly skewed. Dying “of” or “from” is not consistent in the reporting.

Now redo your math with just the CDC guesstimate of 10X and get back to us on how that goes.

  53. REDZONE BA Fan Says:

The “opt-outs” are underway (5 so far by my count) and could result in a movement by the big uglies, who might be most prone to Covid health issues, given their size and other issues related to being so big.

Donovan Smith (DS) watch is real for the Bucs and Brady…

DS is not a pro-bowler or superstar, but he shows up every game and does his job better than 90% of other options at LT. I hope DS chooses to play in 2020; and I will respect his opt-out decision if DS chooses his newborn daughter’s well-being over the Bucs season or fan choice. And will cheer him on, if he chooses to play!

  54. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

On topic, Vaughn may not even have the virus.

My family was quarantined for 2 weeks recently because it was possible my son was exposed at work (everyone at the company was quarantined; the business shut down for the two weeks).

My family, including my son, tested fine and he is back at work now.

The NFL isn’t taking any chances. My only concern is the roster limits on game day.

  55. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Donovan Smith won’t opt out, but he will request a little time before reporting.

  56. REDZONE BA Fan Says:

So excited to see how Brady performs in BA offense….Hmm – Expecting NE offense in Tampa given Covid issues and shortened pre-season. Just what it is.

Brady will run NE offense….Gronk, Godwin, Brate, RoJo will be happy. Bucs will do well.

ME13? 2020 will be the end of ME13 1000 yd streak. Too many – better high percentage options for Brady which will result in fewer long passes to ME13. Bad combo for ME13.

    ME13 happiness > yikes….

  58. Max Vasher Says:

@sport & @bucsfanforever. Thank you! Glad there are some out there looking at the reality numbers instead of fearporn numbers. We would all do well to investigate how the covid numbers are presented and by whom before we go about claiming righteousness. There’s a big scientific difference between dying with covid and dying from covid but you wouldn’t know that from watching msm. Investigate before you propagate.

  59. Bucsfanman Says:

Here’s a thought. Lets leave the science of the ‘sickness’ to the doctors and experts and try not to be callous to the fact that people are dying from this. OK, so the “death rate” is not that high. You want to chance it?
Let me phrase it differently. Would you willingly give yourself the flu? Ever had a real bad case of it? If so, you know what I mean.
Nobody would want that. You’re a liar if you say you do!
And we actually have treatments and vaccines for the flu, 100+ years worth of research and data.
We’ve taken something apolitical and turned it into a campaign. Just use common sense. Why is that so difficult to comprehend?!

  60. Bucsfanman Says:

Best wishes to Mr. Vaughn. Get well soon to you and your family!

You are not including the number of people who have gotten it and gotten over it that never tested. Impossible to do but the number is likely very very high. Also, you didn’t mention those who died because they had other serious underlying conditions that is what really made them vulnerable. Can’t forget that either.

I’m not against prudent measures to protect ourselves and good comment sense, but the sky is NOT falling.

  62. mark2001 Says:

Roy…First of all, gotten over it and never tested…some truth in that…but there is no evidence that one can’t get it a second or third time. So that pretty much washes out.

Secondly, yes, many had underlying conditions…like age..overweight…smokers/respiratory illnesses…coronary and heart disease…diabetes. And many more in our society that have those conditions haven’t contracted the disease yet. In fact, I’d say many of them have already been careful to avoid getting the disease.

Didn’t say the sky was falling. If we lose millions of Americans to this disease the sky isn’t falling. But it is a social disaster, and impacts things like health costs, hospital viability, and future Social Security benefit cut… see whose ready for a 5826 SS Benefit cut… Fox Business News yesterday.

  63. mark2001 Says:

Bottom line, Roy..I think even the deniers will face the reality of this disease, be more careful in being exposed and exposing others, and we will develop a vaccine and distribute it in the next year. So I think the mortality will never reach that level.

It was a response to the “lets all get it and get it over with crowd”, which is a is a irresponsible response, if you really think about it.

So what I see if no evdence that people HAVE gotten it more than once…

To be “irresponsible,” you have to have responsbility and not properly execute it. The posts seem fine to me…nothing wrong with making light of something that’s not harmful or malicous, right. It’s not like the WHO or CDC was saying it…you know, the same guys who urged people NOT to wear masks early on.

The same guys spouting herd immunity ignore that there are some findings that you can catch it again. It depends on how your immunity system attacks the disease and its disease memory. But then you discount it. It has already mutated. But what medical expert told you to discount reinfection? I’d like to read the research study.

And responsibility is what you owe to your country,..others in our society… and just because some may be more susceptible than me or you and not like us, doesn’t mean we aren’t responsible. That is what citizenship…patriotism…sacrifice..our flag….love for other Americans is all about.

  71. mark2001 Says:

I told you that wasn’t true, 1987. They hadn’t been enforcing the law or cited anyone for non-compliance since the law was passed weeks ago, as of last week. Are you being dishonest, being humorous, or do you need to take Trumps dementia cognitive test?

  72. Cgmaster27 Says:

@mark2001 good to see you sheep keep buying the numbers they throw at you. You sheep keep fear mongering and hiding in your houses. The rest of us will live life. And of those numbers you put up, maybe half are actually covid deaths. The numbers are inflated and you sheep just eat it up. Ive had covid and while it hits people differently, it was a 2 day cold. Thats literally it, so stop the fear mongering already

  73. Buc1987 Says:

In my county of Pasco the cases have exploded despite every store and every public place requiring a mask to enter for the past SIX WEEKS.

I find the numbers to be utter BS when everywhere I go most EVERYONE has a mask on.

  76. Joe Says:

So that’s 70,000 a week that didn’t wear masks and they now have Covid.

You can still get the COVID wearing a mask. Just that a mask is supposed to lessen the chances anywhere from 95-60 percent depending on what mask you wear and what you read or who you believe.

The Mayo Clinic makes it clear masks “help prevent the spread” but it is not a 100 percent prevention method.

  77. mark2001 Says:

Toes… I did the same thing a week ago and someone said what you did. Not paranoid…just responding as I did a week ago to someone accusing me of some grand conspiracy.

1987…there were over 80 complaints of customers not complying..to one police department a week ago in Pinellas county a couple weeks ago…you know, people that actually made the effort to call in. There was an article about a customer complaining at Publix of that very thing. That doesn’t include the articles in the Times talking about bars/restaurants being threatened with closure for non-compliance. Or the articles I mentioned dealing with non-enforcement. You do read the Times, don’t you?

If we enforce the mask policies for businesses and customers, and people do it in other social gatherings as well as reasonable social distancing, per a medical expert I heard this morning, it would happen. They didn’t say exactly how fast. But based upon what I’m hearing, the consistent mask wearing and social distancing hasn’t happened yet.

  78. ToesOnTheLine!!! Says:

    @1987

You can’t reason with the “WEAR A MASK!!” crowd. I’ve posted before here..if we all had access to and wore N95 or better masks then I could see them potentially making a measurable difference in terms of filtering both the virus carried in water droplets (sneeze/cough/speech) as well as some of the aerosolized virus. The “masks” most people are using (bandanas, material used for underwear, homemade quilt, etc.) block some of the water droplets but virtually none of the smaller aerosolized particles. But I’m a firm believer in letting people make their own choice. If you feel safer wearing one, or if it’s mandated by your State and you don’t feel like dealing with the BS and legal hassle, by all means wear your face covering and feel good about yourself.

  79. mark2001 Says:

Joes point is correct as usual. The main purpose of the mask is to stop you from spreading it to others. A N95 mask will screen particles down to .3 microns and less. The Covid virus is about .125 microns. So it certainly you could catch it with a mask. But a mask cuts down the spray of particulate matter, good masks down multiple feet.

BTW..and right about the civil war deaths in another thread. Just a bullet wound, causing uniform material to lodge in the wound could end up poisoning you. Lack of antibiotics, hygiene, modern medical techniques, Dysentery, etc., coupled with malnutrition and near starvation. Horrible…

  80. Buc1987 Says:

All I’m saying is the numbers SHOULD start coming down and they’re not.

  81. mark2001 Says:

1987…all I’m saying is that they should, if everyone wears one, and social distances, in all their activities. And that it hasn’t happened yet. Just read the posts on this board if you don’t read the Times. It is apparent they don’t because they put forward reasons not to, not to believe it is more than the flu, or that they don’t work.

  82. Buc1987 Says:

Suppose I give it another 2 weeks and if they’re still 10,000 cases a day in Florida. I

I’m really going to call hogwash on these masks.

Ya know kind of like what the CDC said in the beginning:

    “The masks do no good.”

  83. Joe Says:

    Thanks Mark!

  84. Stanglassman Says:

A friend of mine died last week from a blood clot in his neck. He got COVID back in April with mild symptoms. His Doctor thinks it COVID related but there is not enough prove it so statistically it’s going down as not related. He was 36 great shape, we ran ultra marathons together a few year back. He was more into yoga lately. No comorbidity. Many people are dying from the after effects. The idea of heard immunity or letting all the players get it is just asinine.

  85. mark2001 Says:

So 1987…you think Toe wears a mask, and like minded folks? I rest my case.

BTW.. lets look at the bright side, as you have been a Bucs fan as long as I do. We no longer have the Sandman, McCants, Toast Jones, or McRae on this team. Those things are looking up.

  86. mark2001 Says:

    as I have….

  87. Stanglassman Says:

I don’t know about where you are at ‘87 but where I live (riverside heights) every time I go to a convenient store, work meeting, or out exercising only about 1/2 the people are wearing mask. Maybe 3/5 on a good day. That’s just not good enough. At least In July the convenient stores finally put signs up asking people to wear them. We were told by the experts from the beginning that the shut down, face Coverings and hand washing all had to be done uniformly at a national level for it to be over ASAP. Otherwise it would a bunch of different outbreaks throughout each state over a very long time. Florida will have to be shut down again I just don’t see any way around it.

  88. ToesOnTheLine!!! Says:

    @ mark

Good lord man you done even know me and you insinuate you know whether I wear make or not? And unless any of you are currently in NY or visiting you really don’t have to worry about my mask wearing habits…unless you’re still out hiking in the Adirondack mountains without your mask on 24/7 🙂

  89. mark2001 Says:

Good Lord Toes…you are pulling out every reason you can why they don’t work. And I don’t care where you are…. you should wear a mask in public. Only 11 cases in the county I’m in, but a good citizen wears a mask in public. And if we don’t up here, we will suffer as Florida is currently suffering.

As I’m currently at my Northwoods lake home, I don’t have to worry about Florida personally. But for all my great neighbors and loved ones in Florida, that I will hopefully see when I return this winter, I am concerned.

  90. mark2001 Says:

There again 1987…T argues that wearing a mask is a waste of time, as do like minded posters on this board. You think they were masks in social and business settings?

Stanglass is right on the money regarding the reality of this issue. And though I don’t always agree with him, he is a straight shooter. Take what he says as the truth.

  91. gp Says:

Funny line from a song I turn up whenever it comes around on the rotation.

“If it’s snowbird season, why can’t we shoot em? Tag em and bag em and send em all home!”

An irritating group of people who always “know” a better way of doing things because that’s the way they do it at home.

Well that’s fine for you, why don’t you stay at home where they do everything right?
We’ve been doing things our way for quite a while. And doing so well at it that our neighborhoods are more attractive than your own. And now you want to come and change our neighborhoods to look like yours?
    No Thanks!

  92. mark2001 Says:

Ive lived in Florida over 35 years. Remember when I had to endure the summers, 75 at night and nearly 100% humidity. And when it rained every afternoon at 3 pm. And we had thriving Orange trees.

I earned and saved enough to get out of the heat during the summer when I retired. Too bad you couldn’t. BTW…Most of you guys are in a pool or hidden away in your AC during the summer anyway. And if you are like many of the Floridians coming to Florida after I did in the 80’s, I suggest you carpetbaggers leave.

  93. gp Says:

    He He!
Did you really just try to type that with a southern accent?
    ROFLMAO!!!
    I CAN’T BREATH!

  94. mark2001 Says:

Just telling you the truth. Most real Floridians, and real Christians I’ve known for decades, have regard for other human life of all ages, races and creeds. And they don’t threaten others with violence, and love songs about shooting people . But maybe you follow an new brand of religion called Trumpism….just put that Bible back in the bottom drawer. It might make you uncomfortable. Jesus wept.

  95. ToesOnTheLine!!! Says:

Finally we can agree on something Mark lol. You are correct, I do think wearing a mask not meeting or exceeding N95 standards are a waste of time for preventing this virus. FWIW I do wear them in public stores mandated (I respect that while I believe the types I and most people I see are wearing are merely a glorified placebo, a lot of people are scared sh!tless if they see another human being bare faced and not conforming to NY law. Me I just want to get my shopping done, get outside the building, and immediately remove the ineffective yet mandated face covering the first step I take out if the store.

  96. mark2001 Says:

    GP…Jesus wept.

  97. gp Says:

    Careful!
You don’t want to fall off of that pedestal.
It’s a looooong way down from where you ‘think’ you are.
    LOL LOL

  98. gp Says:

Remember, Jesus told his disciples, ” If you are not welcome in a city, you should shake the dust off your sandals as YOU LEAVE”

  99. Bucsfanman Says:

These posts remind me of a quote from the movie “Platoon”.

“Free your mind, and your a$$ will follow!”

‘Tis the season of deception, misinformation and lies. It’s an election year!!!
AND, media is there to sell soap.

  100. mark2001 Says:

Jesus welcomed me…he has blessed me in the decision to move there more than you can imagine. UnGodly People don’t? I don’t worry about that. They don’t welcome him in their lives or live according to his teachings, either.

  101. mark2001 Says:

Not on a pedestal…but not a hypocrite, either.

  102. gp Says:

    Not a hypocrite eh?
Jesus refused to be dragged into political discussion for a reason.

You USE his name to *try* to win your political point.

    Thats the Third Commandment.

Just from your comments on this board I suspect 1,2,6,8,&9 are all in jeopardy as well.
If you ‘think’ of yourself as a Christian, you might want to reconnect
One of his last statements to the disciples was to “beware of false prophets”
That might be a good place for you to start.

  103. mark2001 Says:

Jesus wept… threatens to beat up those disagreeing with him and loves talking about shooting snowbirds. Hypocrite.

  104. mark2001 Says:

Jesus didn’t get involved in Politics. But he didn’t command us not to. And if it was commanded, most of the modern day Christian church, particularly the protestant church, is breaking a commandment. Why wouldn’t you know that?

  105. mark2001 Says:

You honor God with threats of violence?

  106. mark2001 Says:

The only thing I’ve done is admonish people to wear masks to protect each other, for the love the well being of their fellow Americans. The rest has spun off that basic point.

And you make fun of not being able to breath? The death of a fellow citizen? Wow.

  107. gp Says:

No, just laughing so hard at you that I couldn’t breath
Do you have a comprehension problem?
If so, I’ll leave you alone

And please, list any “threat” that I have made.
I’m sure that Joe would like to know so he can delete my account.
    Not my style friend.
    ‘Feeling’ threatened doesn’t count.
    That’s just your style.

    Look up the third commandment

  109. unbelievable Says:

“I’m gonna call hogwash on the masks if we’re still getting infections”

Well, people would need to actually start wearing them first…

But let’s just say for arguments sake they were only 40% effective, isn’t that still worth the simple act of putting one on for 20 min while you shop? Is that really too much to ask to help your fellow American citizens? Seems that would be the patriotic thing to do if you genuinely cared about your country.

But no, we Americans are a bunch of selfish a holes.

  110. mark2001 Says:

Third commandment…Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain..

    I haven’t…

If you mean Beatitude… Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. ( Law of God ) Meekness is peaceful, fully developed Christian love, free from all malice. It is manifested in the spirit of a man who never becomes angry, and never permits himself to grumble against God or people.

I love my fellow American to have tried to protect them. You’ve threatened me in a variety of ways. I forgave you..still do. Maybe you have a different Bible.

Look…I’m finished directly corresponding with you. Go your way… and good luck. I won’t get down in the mud and issue threats and such. Jesus wouldn’t want me to. You do what you want. But be aware…God is watching.

    Jesus Wept.

  111. gp Says:

Hiding behind a questionable understanding of religion is cowardly
Using the name of Jesus Christ to try to prove a political point IS using God’s name in vain.
Luckily for you, He Is very forgiving.

And if you have felt threatened by anything I could have done to you through this thread…. such a snowflake SMH

  112. mark2001 Says:

Not true.. You threatened in this and other threads. Never used his name in vain. May God forgive you, and may he open your eyes. My comment wasn’t political…it was a matter of public health.

    I forgive you.

  113. gp Says:

    Hey JOE!
    Sorry to bother you
If you read this, PLEASE tell me if I threatened this snowflake
If I did, please delete my account
If not, please send him a note to grow up!
    Hey JBF!

  114. gp Says:

Oh BTW, what happened to the ‘cup of Joe’ comments?

  115. Sport Says:

Anonymous – google ‘10 times more Covid cases’ There are multiple credible sources quoting the CDC and referencing CDC Lead Studies/Reports. It could range from 6 to 24 times in one of the articles.

Does that change the death rate? Along with a proven overstatement on Covid as the cause of death?

Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be vigilant and do our part. The Media and Politicians love fear. It sells and sways votes.

    In BA I Trust!
