Brady Behind Brown Chatter?

July 1st, 2020

Rumors persist.

Interesting bit of information about these (denied) Antonio Brown rumors.

Rumors the past few days, seemingly sparked by sports radio and podcasts, say the Bucs were still interested in nutcase wide receiver Antonio Brown.

Joe never bought the rumors because earlier this spring, Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians was so adamant that Brown is not a fit.

The Bucs, through a couple of reporters, yet again denied the rumors after they reignited this week. But Mike Giardi of NFL Network has thrown fresh gas on the fire this morning.

It seems park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring Bucs quarterback Tom Brady has kept (hope?) alive by keeping a line of communication open between himself and Brown.

There are several reasons Joe thinks the Bucs need to remain clear of this character Brown.

Here is a list of Brown’s last three teams how the relationship ended with each.

Steelers: Quit.
Raiders: Quit but not before totally freaking out.
Patriots: Thrown off the team for stunts with women.

Joe would be very surprised if Brown found his way onto the Bucs roster. If that did happen, that tells you who the shot-caller is at One Buc Palace.

If the Bucs absolutely, positively have to bring in a name player, let it be Jamal Adams, not Brown. The Bucs don’t need Brown. They sure as hell could use Adams.

100% BS…..Seems Browns agent is worried…..BA said it clear….Locker room Distraction!!

  2. lowercaseg Says:

    Adams over brown.

  3. Allbuccedup Says:

Would not sign Brown even for the league minimum salary.

  4. Chesapeake Bucco Says:

No way BA wants any part of AB and his antics, having seen it first-hand in the Burgh. Plus, one thing the Bucs don’t need is another WR star pining for more targets!

  5. Buc4evr Says:

If it helps us get to the SB, why not at league minimum. Plus it gives Brady one more weapon, especially if our top two WR’s get injured again.

  6. El Buco Realisto Says:

The “real” fans are all for bringing in Mr Brown!!!!!!!!!! This is the “all in” season for the so-called “win now coach”!!!!!!!!!! Are some saying that ole stale biscuit cannot check his ego at the door????????? That he cannot manage his players??????? Or he does not want players disturbing his afternoon nap?????????????

    go bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. 813bucboi Says:

i would be all for it at the league minimum….

our locker room is strong enough to make brown fall in line….and we have a HC who wont be scared to cut bait….

  8. Wesley Says:

  12. SB Says:

    First round talent, Undrafted Boneheadedness!

  13. Sarasota Garey Says:

I think if Brady wants him, and can keep him in check, he will get him. If we got Brown, we would be the favorites to win the SB.

  14. Craig Says:

Brown’s agent is throwing stuff against the wall to see if it sticks.

Brady, by now, knows how much he has in Godwin and Evans.

Notice that I put Godwin ahead of Evans. He will have a huge year.

  15. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Why not….we need someone to kneel…..

  16. Bucsfanman Says:

    1. We don’t NEED Brown.
    2. Brown is beyond a “distraction”!
    3. See #1.

  17. El Buco Realisto Says:

    Let me translate Tampabaybucfan!!!!!!!!!

Sarcastically says, that we don’t want anyone with different opinions!!!!!!!!!!!! That is why he tries to get myself and other banned for just having a different opinion!!!!!!!!!!! Luckily later today, Tampabaybucfan can do another golf cart rally at the villages, were he can scream about white jerseys and buc power!!!!!! Or whatever else he does!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    go bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  18. bucsfan951 Says:

for a vet minimum?… lets shake them dice and roll em! if he doesnt work out, you cut the string and let the kite fly away.

  19. Smashsquatch Says:

He’s a different kind of sickness we don’t need. Adams however fills a need nicely. Trade OJ and Justin Evans for Adams.

  20. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Let me translate for El SuckoPessimisto

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    El SuckoPessimisto

Has a new thing…..that’s translating everything I post for you……so translate this, El Sucko…

Your father is your uncle and that is likely the source of many of your difficulties.

  22. SufferingSince76 Says:

The guy is a train wreck. Stay as far away as possible. The Bucs don’t need him anyway.

  23. Clean House Says:

Who cares- sign Brown- this is a freak show WWE entertainment team anyway at this point. Coach BS- king delegator and his 35 merry men and women coaching staff.
In fact I say it’s time to trade for DJax again- he’ll be fine with TB12.

  24. Buczilla Says:

Hell no to Brown and Adams. Brown for obvious reasons and Adams, because there are no safeties playing today that are worth 15 million, much less 20+ million per year. Also, with the sickness and the inevitable backlash from player protests (if they even play the anthem anymore), the salary cap could be in the dirt next year.

  25. Cobraboy Says:

    NoNoNo!

Doesn’t Brown have some NFL penance to pay for his womyn problems?

  26. Pa fan Says:

If God forbid Evans or Godwin goes down we have no one to insert. Just look at the last few games without them last year. Winston had no run game, a broken thumb and no one to throw to but Perriman who oh btw is GONE! In a season where guys will catch this virus especially living in Florida I think depth is of the most inportance. If he signs for league min I would do it and just on a short leash. If he fs up the peace out. Brady obviously thinks he can tame him.

  27. BigHog Says:

Sign AB…instantly best reciever on team!!!
