Ryan Jensen Will Make Your Day

May 15th, 2020

“Nasty.”

Anyone up for some offensive line porn?

Few things get Joe worked up to prep for a weekend quite like good offensive line porn. Take Bucs center Ryan Jensen.

People who habitually whine about the offensive line because — well, because! — apparently did not watch Jensen last year. He had an excellent season.

Brandon Thorn, who types and analyzes offensive line play for The Athletic, twittered out a cool cut-up of Jensen from 2019, when Jensen lived up to the hype he got from Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht, who, when he signed Jensen, bragged how “nasty” he was.

Jensen sure played nasty last year. Look at these plays. Jensen, when not blocking someone, sat there like a German Shepard at the front door in the middle of the night hearing someone trying to break in, ready to pounce on any poor soul who entered his turf.

Enjoy this small piece of offensive line adult material. Joe just hopes Jensen’s ‘tude on the field somehow rubs off on Tristan Wirfs.

  4. El Buco Realisto Says:

Looks to be about 6 missed holding calls on jensen!!!!!!!! Hopefully the referees will call those missed calls this year!!!!!!!! The “real” fans just want to see a game called fairly!!!!!!!!!!!! No excuses in the year of all no excuse seasons!!!!!!!!!

Its time for the sheep to herded, and put them back into the pen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arians even said at years end he had excellent year
The man loves Him some smashing and contact (which is kinda porn)

  6. ItzOK Says:

Licht with another good FA pickup

  7. Lord Cornelius Says:

Yeah real fans want to see their offensive line more penalized and believe in conspiracy theories involving refs and the Bucs offensive line.

This crap is now at least getting hilarious to the point I can just enjoy it lol

  8. Chipbuc Says:

Man alive there are some negative people on this site. You know who you are. Like all o linemen don’t hold, some are just better at doing it. Jensen looks pretty good to me, he’s the least of our problems on the o line. Let the sheep run wild !!!!!

  9. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

And there are people here who claimed he sucked. Real experts, lol.

  10. gotbbucs Says:

Jameis sucks at climbing the ladder in the pocket.

  11. SteveK Says:

I’m with joe, that is sexy blocking. Love the nasty. Go Bucs!

Realist, really upset of the officiating? Are the Bucs not screwed enough with officials calls? The Saints have a case for the last two years.

  12. gotbbucs Says:

El Bucco has no idea what he’s talking about.

Doing a hell of a job as the resident troll. Keep up the good work.

  13. Afo Says:

The sheep’s are running out of excuses and wild

  14. SC Bucs Fan Says:

As long as the powers that be let trolls in and we keep feeding them every thread will be 1/2 football, 1/2 fighting with the trolls.

  15. tickrdr Says:

Stopped it at the 1:00 mark to watch Ogunbowale run the WRONG route again, as Jameis jump pass is behind him and high, all while a wide-open receiver crosses right in front of Jameis, who never sees him.

Back on topic, those blocks by Jensen were awesome!

    tickrdr

  16. Mike Says:

Man, dude was bringing it! That made me giddy like a school girl!

  17. SteveK Says:

Love the fight and desire to pancake people. That is the mentality we need.

  18. ALBucsFan Says:

Great to see. It also made me think how much better we’ll be with a QB that reads a defense and gets rid of the ball quickly.

  19. Buc1987 Says:

    Realist has issues with everything.

    Realist has issues.

  20. Miller5252 Says:

Too bad they didn’t put any run blocking in the video. I’d like to see a little bit of that on Jensen. I always liked the Jensen pick up. He’s done good so far.

  21. Mort Says:

Nothing better than pancakes for breakfast today, amirite?

  22. El Buco Realisto Says:

If that is the “highlight” film, I would hate to see the “lowlight” film!!!!!!!! Unfortunately we all saw that all last season!!!!!!!!!! But we don’t expect too much more from the second best center on the Bucs roster!!!!!!!!!!

“This is the no excuses of no-excuses years”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s time to herd the sheep, and put them back in the pen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    go bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  23. LordCornelius Says:

Per pff and multiple O-line evaluator opinions I’ve read – Jensen was basically a top 3 C last year.

The fact that there is ANY sort of random fan divisiveness over an article highlighting a consensus graded solid player, across multiple football film junkies / pFF graders / casual fans, is just laughably insane.

    lmao

    GO SHEEP / BUCS!

  24. pick6 Says:

yep, i noticed this on another bucs website earlier this week as part of a larger article on bucs’ interior OL, in collaboration with the author of this tweet. good article for O line fans

  25. Lazy weeb Says:

You also can see how good market is taking on his 1on 1s

  26. ATrain Says:

    Nasty

Is what the Bucs have been missing

We have had ice cream and sprinkles

THIS YEAR THAT BS is GONE

  27. The Sheep goes, BAAAAA! Says:

    Nice blocking! Dude is violent!

    Run sheep run!

  28. BA4President Says:

That Detroit one at the goal line was nice!

  29. TJ Henderson Says:

I didnt see Jensen do anything, too busy watching Donovan get beat by the edge rusher.

  30. tvan101 Says:

I didnt see Jensen do anything, too busy watching Donovan get beat by the edge rusher.

  31. Tampabuscsbro Says:

wasn’t Dotson being outright manhandled more then you guys are saying Smith was?

  32. DaBux Says:

Love it. Now if it could rub off on our LT, we’d be set.

The o-line and pass protection can not be underestimated!!!!! The O-line, RB and TE are just stellar so far in pass pro!!!!! Having those clean pockets and time to develop routes, make it too easy!!!!!!!!!!
    GO Bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you’ll be repeating that phrase a lot chump!!!!!!!!!

and who was on that o-line again in 2018?….lol…

    GO BUCS!!!!!!

  34. Clw JB Says:

he hunts the stunt!!!!!! Love it!!!!

  35. Rod Munch Says:

Jensen was mediocre last year. People need to watch more than a few highlight plays.

  36. Capt.Tim Says:

Our Interior line can compete with anyone. Cappa plays Fierce, and his technique has steadily improved.
Cappa is tall and long armed. I expect Cappa to move to tackle next season, and Wirfs, who is a lil short and short armed, to become an All pro Right Guard.
This is probably the best line in team history.
Brady should cut up defenses like a strait razor!

So nice to be optimistic about the Team.

The interception Era is over. Its really over!
And to those who continually argued with me, over the greatness of the one million dollar interception king.-
    No hard feelings

  37. Darin Says:

    Rod munch
Go to pewter report and read the segment or read thorns stuff. He studies every play of every linemen. Top 3-4 center last year he says. Considering he did the research and knows the positions I’ll take his word since I’m not gona watch it all

  38. Discount08bucs4life Says:

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GUY!!! WHAT A FREAKING ANIMAL, THAT IS HOW YOU PLAN THE CENTER OFFENSIVE LINE POSITION MY FRIENDS. RYAN JENSEN JUST PUT ON A GOD DAMN CLINIC FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD TO SEE IN MY OPINION AND SHOULD BE GETTING A FREAKING BONUS OR A NICE CONTRACT EXTENSION TO SHOW THE APPRECIATION FOR THE GRINDING WORK AND SHOWING HOW TO LEAD AN OFFENSIVE LINE! BRADY HAS GOT TO LOVE SEEING THIS AND KNOW THAT IS HIS NEW CENTER, BECAUSE THAT MY FRIENDS IS A PRO BOWL CALIBER STUD FOOTBALL PLAYER IN MY PERSONAL OPINION. I MIGHT BE A LITTLE EXCITED HERE, THAT VIDEO PUMPS YOU UP. BUT THAT IS JUST AN EXCEPTIONAL WORK ETHIC.

  39. Confused Buc Fan Says:

Love seeing stuff like this. He definitely underperformed in first year of his contract but feel like we’re getting money’s worth now.
