Agent: David Will “Be Fine”

August 5th, 2019

Additional info.

Joe is just the messenger here. A paid spokesman for Bucs star linebacker Lavonte David claims the only thing to fear is fear itself.

This morning, Bucco Bruce Arians informed the local pen and mic club that David had a “procedure” to take care of a “little meniscus tear.” Arians said he expects David to be back for opening day when the Bucs face the 49ers.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network has additional details after speaking with David’s agent.

Of course, agents are always pillars of accuracy and would never, ever mislead a reporter about a subject that could put his client in any sort of negative light.

Again, Joe is just a messenger here. Joe is much more inclined to go by Arians’ timetable than an agent.

lol well if his agent said it, it must be true!

  2. Tampabaybucfan Says:

I’m glad to see that BA won’t hesitate to communicate about injuries when he has clearance to do so……Lovie was coy……Koetter was “mysterious”……

  3. tmaxcon Says:

all these lvd post are hilarious… acting like the world is coming to an end because a average to below average lb has a boo boo….. who cares. the dude is a self admitted mentally weak player who has co-captained some of the most embarrassing defensive units the WORLD has ever witnessed…. it’s laughable how bucfan freaks out over losers… guy is an ok linebacker nothing special and certainly not great when you couple that with the fact he is so mentally weak and has NO clue what winning is just move on from the loser that money can be spent elsewhere. the defense is going to be garbage with or without lvd and jpp cut the bums and get jameis some damn offensive linemen…. jameis is the only hope not this high school level defensive roster…

  4. Neal Says:

“Joe is much more inclined to go by Arians’ timetable than an agent.” Didn’t they both give the same timetable?

  5. Lazy Animations (week) Says:

There’s tmax talking nonsense proving for 7 straight years (at least) that he has no idea what he is talking about. And is apart of the problem with the bucs, you’re the cancer dude!

  6. Youngbucs Says:

Man that sucks but better than happening during the season let’s see Bowle’s magic Friday it should be very very interesting.

  7. Rayjay1122 Says:

There is a chance he could be back week 1. Most people who have surgery on a meniscus tear only rehab an hour or so per day. David is a world class athlete with the best medical treatment and will spend many hours rehabbing daily. His recovery will be quicker than average Joe. No offense Joe…lol.

  8. Cobraboy Says:

It’s clear tmaxcon spends mote time fapping to his own words than actually watching football.

so tell me this genius if all these great buc players you love are so damn good why do they embarrass themselves and the sport of football week in and week out. Not a single meaningful win since 03…. lvd has had 1 good year under schiano period…

so please tell me what point I was wrong about every point I made above is factual…. may not fit the delusional optimists feel good agenda but you can’t rewrite history to make yourself feel better about how bad the on-field defensive units led by lvd and cancer93 actually were…

he’s a self admitted mentally weak player that has either forgotten how to win…

no one holds on to average to below average players like bucfan

  10. JimmyJack Says:

Stinks to lose David but it feels like we dodged a bullet the swelling didn’t turn into a season ending ACL rip.

Well coached teams will have their backups ready to roll & they got plenty of time to prepare their guys. I’m assuming David will miss at least a game or two……..The timtables they give never ever happen from what I can remember.

    GO BUCS!!!!

again if all these bums you fall for are so great why are they the proud owners of 8 basement titles, nearly all the worst off nfl records and have killed the careers of 4 coaching regimes… but let’s not let facts get in the way… results matter feelings do not!

  12. Mitch Says:

I’m completely guessing but sounds like a minor procedure. I’ll give him 4-6 weeks before he is healed up and back in action.

  13. Magadude Says:

Could be minor but always a concern if an agent feels like he needs to get a comment in.

  14. NOSBOS Says:

Oohh I see what’s going on here so he basically fine. Okay cool, and if that’s the case I don’t wanna see Suh take a single snap in the pre season either.

  15. Tom Edrington Says:

And which medical school did his agent attend?

I don’t “fall” for anyone, young dude.

I am a fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, win or lose. I don’t jump on or off the bandwagon because of great play or failure.

But, unlike yourself, I am not a casual fan. I know what I am looking at. I don’t fap just to fap. I don’t go negative just to be negative.

I cannot remember one post you have ever made that was about real X’s and O’s that show any football knowledge or cred beyond a punk casual fan.

The day you stand tall and offer some real insight beyond the Glazers Licht Bad silly rants is the day I and other non-casual fans will take you seriously. Until that day, if I want micron-deep analysis, I’ll ask my 7-month-old great Dane pup what he thinks. At least he’s more mature and makes more sense when he howls.

    You get tiresome, dude.

I’ll make you a serious deal: I will create a blog, pay for the domain and host it for free for you to spew your childish bile if you pledge to never grace the pages of JoeBucsFan ever again with your childish nonsense.

For free, dude. Children like free.

Now if you choose to grow up and contribute like an adult, fine. I and other actual Bucs fans will welcome that change.

  17. Easy Says:

Lets just make sure hes ready for the regular season opener.

  18. WestChap Says:

Great players can be thwarted by weaker team mates, bad schemes and stubborn/incompetent coaches. Perhaps a great QB can carry a team but a great LB just makes tackles… lots and lots of tackles. LVD is a great LB. The tmax drivel to the contrary just proves any fool can post a thought, even an idiotic thought. Or, in the case of tmax, a few thousand. But of course I am playing into his attention-seeking needs… sorry. Back to the Bucs: get better Lavonte; we need you!

nice post lol…. this franchise is beyond xo’s pal. I have been going to games since 77 and have earned the right to critizes this morons running this minor league franchise with no hope… all the what if’s in the world can’t overcome the fact the glazers have NO intentions of fielding a winner and low standard bucfan is fine with that…

  21. #1bucsfan Says:

They all made it to the big leagues an have gotten FAT contracts on top of that but you go ahead an sit there behind your keyboard an down in your moms basement eating bon bons an cheese puffs. That’s prob why your so negative an cancerful your prob over weight an living with your momma still

  22. Isaac haggins Says:

Yo Peeps , L David is a pretty good player and a borderline all pro talent !!! However your weakest link will cause failure of all strengths and like it or not T Max is DeadNuts Correct !!! Lavonte is not a ( self admitted) very strong minded player and clearly has been to the icecream truck every year which just doesn’t elevate ones mental approach ( 93 was and is a football cancer ) . 93 was the team leader for years and defensive leader every year !!! The facts came out of Lavonte mouth and you can deny it and try to ignore it all you want , you can claim that 93 wasn’t an influence but that don’t hold water or should I say melted ice cream 🍦. Let’s hope Arians can reverse 6 years of weakness , oh BTW Lavontes best year was with Schiano !!! Do the Math Num Nuts T Max is Dead On !!! Can’t wait for the 93 cancer train in Carolina , He May hv the best game of his career against the Bucs ( he is talented) but by year two , the loud mouth, camera loving, diamonds earrings totings , self loving, ego filled, comic book hero living, chicklet teeth smiling , on the bench 4 th quartering, camera loving, I’m making big changes this year , ice cream truck driving , exaggerated injury owning , mr nice guy, mr look at me , mr I need attention , mr make another comment that makes not a lick of sense MENTAL MIDGET HEAD CASE will be in FULL EFFECT !!!! T MAX is Spot On , maybe not a great communicator to a movement in denial but none the less Spot On !!

You obviously enjoy displaying your ignorance, and think others want to see it.

It’s like a dog licking his balls in public.

All football is about the X’s and O’s, little max. One day you may grow up and learn that.

    But I doubt it.

So from this point forward, everyone who reads your nonsense will think about a dog licking his balls.

  24. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Jack Cichy time!

ahhh get mommy to give you some extra meds tonight you will feel better little buddy.. it must really burn your arse that I am 100% right 100% of the time… send me your paypal and I’ll get you an ice cream next time the truck is in your neighborhood…

  26. TDTB Says:

Between Bucannon and Cichy, they can probably limp through first regular season game. If David doesn’t make it back by game 2 then could screw up some of Bowles plans for Bucannon.

  27. Father Rico Says:

I don’t even see a tmaxicon poster and so, don’t know what half these posts are about….

So many of you like to give a random turdsack space in your head. You know how ignoring that 3-yr-old and his little tantrum will just make him go away ….

tmax is a fart in the woods. If no one acknowledges the fart, did it really happen?

I swear, i think lee or steve is behind it just to spin you all up…

  28. #1bucsfan Says:

Sorry T your deff not right .1 percent of the time an the .1 percent is that the glazers have done a horrible job running this organization but you can buy me ice cream any time bro. Snickers ice cream bar plzz

  29. richbucsfan Says:

And, now….let reality settle in…Injuries will sink the Bucs’ ship. They have no depth and now it will show. smh
