The Hire-Mike-McCarthy-Now Crowd

December 4th, 2018

It’s out there. Joe even got a couple of emails on the subject from well known folks yesterday.

There are Bucs fans and NFL observers out there who think Team Glazer would be wise to hire recently-launched Packers head coach Mike McCarthy immediately to take over for Dirk Koetter.

The major knock on McCarthy is that he didn’t win enough with Aaron Rodgers and his offense is behind the times, despite a Super Bowl and a long streak of playoff appearances.

Joe doesn’t think it’s that simple.

The Packers aren’t exactly overflowing with talent this season and it’s obvious the relationship between Rodgers and McCarthy went from very good to highly strained during his 13-year run there.

Ex-Buc wide receiver Michael Clayton was on WDAE-AM 620 this morning banging a loud drum in favor of McCarthy and his experience and standards of excellence. Clayton would applaud a McCarthy. (Joe considers Clayton a buffoon as an analyst but not everyone agrees with Joe).

Overall, the NFL world is convinced McCarthy will have a job in a hurry. Ironically, a lot of people have compared young Jameis Winston to a cross between Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers, two guys McCarthy worked very well with. Koetter himself famously went there on the Rodgers analogy during an episode of Hard Knocks.

Yes, Koetter still is the Bucs commander, though the Bucs have underwhelmed for two consecutive seasons and one has to believe Team Glazer is already shopping for his replacement. That’s what any responsible ownership group would do.

Joe’s not lobbying for or against McCarthy. Joe would want to know his plan for the Bucs.

Still, Joe would understand if Team Glazer pounced on an accomplished, 55-year-old head coach who should be salivating when he looks at the Bucs’ weapons.

  1. OneBucPerson Says:

All due respect to McCarthy but we need a guy who knows how to scheme a defense. Someone like a JDR or a Gregg Williams should the Browns let him walk.

  2. TheBucsAnthem Says:

Mike McCarthy is and has been a winning coach his whole career.

Without his guidance and leadership, Aaron Rodgers wouldn’t be where he is today….

We need a winner…… Not a loser HC in Koetter

  3. The Graham Tram Says:

I don’t see his offense being any better than the Monken offense.

Not sure how he’d be an improvement on what we already have.

  4. ItsDookie87 Says:

McCarthy’s record speaks for itself, the question for me would have to be answered during the interview process. Has he lost his touch for play calling or his passion for the game? I don’t mean he would have to answer them but they would have to be determined during it. If he’s lost either of those things then he would just be another Lovie and that would be unacceptable.

  5. 813bucboi Says:

i agree but not with the names….we need someone who knows defense and can stop high flying offenses like the saints…..

    KRIS RICHARD 4 HC!!!!

    #NOEXCUSESIN2018!!!!…#PRESSURESONTHECOACHES!!!!….GO BUCS!!!!

  6. Lamarcus Says:

Hello no to McCarthy and hell no to Kris Richards. Might as well keep Dirk if those 2 are the other options

Our next coach needs to be a PROVEN winner. McCarthy needs to go to Andy Reid staff and get updated on the times

  7. tnew Says:

I’m not sure on who the next HC will be. Not until Koetter is fired will I really begin spending brain cells on it. As much as I want to see a new HC, I’m not getting my hopes up. This season is going seriously scary to how I envisioned it after last season.

Not gonna go picking thru my posts to show it, but I saw the Bugs going 8-8, playing better at the end of the season (Koetter’s pattern, his wait and see mindset vs dictating) and doing just enough to warrant another year.

As far as McCarthy, they seem to be putting up a bunch of yards without scoring this season.

  8. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I disagree that we need a defensive head coach. Mike McCarthy had winning seasons for 9 of 10 years. That’s not exactly horrible. And as I recall, the Packers defenses were not horrible during those years either.

I could see Mike McCarthy as HC and Marvin Lewis as DC.

Not that I am suggesting it.

    I prefer to keep Koetter.

  9. NPRSageBoy Says:

If Koetter and Company somehow devise a plan and muster the troops to beat the Saints a second time this season, all bets on regime change are off.
Having said that, a lot has to happen Buc wise:

Duffner needs to have D playing out of their minds again
“Good JayMiss” has to show up three weeks in a row.

Item 1 may be doable, but Item 2 seems highly unlikely. Another multiple pick game is lurking.

  10. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    @Lamarcus

Mike McCarthy is a proven winner, buddy. He’s 125-77-2 as a head coach, with a superbowl victory.

In 13 years he’s only had 3 losing seasons…and two of them were the last two years. You might remember…Aaron went down last year and was on IR, so that accounts for that losing season.

I’m not exactly against hiring him, but I’m not endorsing it either. There could be worse ideas, such as promoting Monken, which is a very likely scenario.

  11. Duthsty Rhothdes Says:

This guy would be the best coach the bucs have had since Gruden and would be an immediate upgrade to the BS at one buc, if he does want the job, he would want complete control and that would mean the worst gm in the nfl jason licht needs to go

  12. tmaxcon Says:

bucs will get the least desirable candidate LEFT. rightfully so since the bucs job is hands down the worst job in entire NFL. all the qualified coaches will pick teams and Bucs will be left with garbage just like every year. when you are a small market minor league franchise with incompetent owners there truly is no hope. you go can go back and forth all you want ladies that being said tampa is the undisputed worst job in nfl. NO ONE WANTS TO COACH IN TAMPA PERIOD… oh yeah, some dumbarse will take the job but it won’t’ there first, second or even seventh choice.

  13. ModHairKen Says:

Get Jim Schwartz, I said. Keep Monken and Licht.

  14. 813bucboi Says:

    lamarcus

all the “proven winners” aint going anywhere….the owners have looked them up for years to come…..

is mcvay a proven winner after 1 year?….how about doug pederson?….how about anthony lynn?…..

all 3 are first time HC’s…..mcvay and lynn had winning records last year, while doug won the SB…..this year, mcvay and lynn both have their teams with a winning record and are headed to the playoffs…..

we need someone who knows defense and can develop defensive players…..we need someone who knows what it takes to win a SB and someone who has built a winning culture……

you might as well send dirk to andy reids staff because his 4vert scheme is outdated and he needs to be updated on how things are done…..

if the saints played green bay, brees wouldve put up 40+ on mike and rodgers……

did you miss Kris Richard in action vs someone we’ll have to face twice a year?…..i guess you did….

    #NOEXCUSESIN2018!!!!…#PRESSURESONTHECOACHES!!!!….GO BUCS!!!!

  15. 813bucboi Says:

    lamarcus

mike and Kris both have SB rings……dirk doesn’t….so who’s the “proven” winner…..

    #NOEXCUSESIN2018!!!!…#PRESSURESONTHECOACHES!!!!….GO BUCS!!!!

  16. The Real Malloy Says:

No thanks. We already have a top offense.

Keep Koetter, continue to bolster the defense, and get a road grader at RG.

  17. Kevin Says:

McCarthy looks burned up. Maybe when some time has passed and he’s re-energized.

  18. lokog Says:

ok lets say we get him and we start losing then what?

  19. TheBucsAnthem Says:

Jim Schwartz failed as a HC………McCarthy did nothing but win

  20. Frank Pillow Says:

Is the McCarthy of today better than Dirk and/or any other available candidate? Is he the next Andy Reid or Brian Billick?

  21. Killfish Says:

I’m ok with keeping Koetter one more season. He has the best offense in the league. Now that he finally fired Mike Smith, there is hope that the defense can become average. With that, we should be able to make the playoffs next season. We still have a decent shot at making it this year. If last week’s defensive performance is any indication, sign the interim D-Coordinator and we should be alright.

  22. Pugs&Bucs Says:

Michael Clayton is unlistenable on the call-in show after the games. It’s like listening to Steven A Smith after he snorted 4 lines of crank off a hunting knife. His thoughts are all over the place, he doesn’t make sense, his voice is HIGH and annoying…. basically, his commentary is about as reliable as his hands.

  23. bucsnole Says:

    I second this idea ^^^^^^^^^

  24. Maze Says:

    OVERRATED

  25. vinny Says:

I say if we keep playing ball like this the rest of the season, let Koetter come back another season with duffer as the D coordinator.

I think one of the best things was benching James for a few games to get his head right and humble him to see what he could lose if he didn’t straighten up.

IF JASON LIGHT COULD HAVE PICKED A DAMN KICKER A WHILE AGO THIS TEAM WOULD NOT HAVE EVER BEEN IN THIS POSITION AND WE WOULD HAVE WON A LOT MORE GAMES OVER THE YEARS!!!!!!

WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOU BRING MCCARTHY IN, IF IN A REPORT AARON RODGERS HAD NO RESPECT FOR HIS PLAY CALLING???????

AND IF HE CAN’T TAME AARON RODGERS, HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU THINK HE’LL TAME JAMIES WINSTON??????

AND GET D JAX THE F OFF OUR TEAM ALOG WITH BRENT GRIMES!!!!!

  26. Tampa Bay Demon Says:

Unfortunately I agree with the Michael Clayton assessment. He is a train wreck, almost unlistenable at times.

  27. Buc'n Enough Says:

    Joe your comment below is the reason this franchise sucks and sucks and continues to suck;

“one has to believe Team Glazer is already shopping for his replacement. That’s what any responsible ownership group would do.”

We do not have a responsible ownership group!
    We have the three stooges!

  28. Knucknbuc Says:

Puuuukkkkeee. Didnt we just try this with love former head coach from the nfc north that knows how to win blah blah blah. This guy one once with 1 of the greatest qbs to play! Puuukkkeee. Pass. Glazers hire him im out.

  29. NCBucFan Says:

We need to get the eric bieniemy bandwagon going. I’m tired of all of the retreads. Let’s be innovative and get some new blood in here who has been groomed under Any Reid, and who can connect with our core young, top notch talent. And please don’t come with the potential ‘Raheem Morris’ disaster scenarios. Lol.

And btw, there’s plenty of articles out there pushing for Green Bay to hire EB. So it’s not like this is that far-fetched.

    Just saying…

  30. StoutGospel Says:

Two words…JOHN HARBAUGH immediately …once Baltimore let’s him go.

Makes much more sense to have Harbaugh’s stern defensive stout philosophy, with hiring a hotshot OC of his choosing to scheme our offensive strengths (already).

  31. martinii Says:

I guess I am a wait and see advocate. The team seems to be improving and with 3 of the 7 losses by 3 points and 1 by 5 points this appears to be a “Close but no Cigar year. McCarthy had 13 years in a very supportive environment with 2 of the arguably best QB’s (Farve and Rogers) in the business. I guess I’m trying to say I am sick of revolving coaches and considering the Winston suspension and injuries if the Buc’s can show improvement and replace a few sub power players in the offseason I can support Koetter and Licht in 2019.

  32. Buc4life24 Says:

His record is inflated because he had AR who is a Baaaaad man!!

  33. Jolly Bucs Fan Says:

Im good with the Koetter/Monken offense. If Jameis keeps playing some of his better football than there is no reason to think he needs McCarthy.

If Koetter is canned than the glazers must retain the offense under monken and bring in a defense-minded HQ to fix that side of the ball..

That being said, Duffner is already making the case that he is the answer (jury still out of course), Offense is humming under Monken/Koetter, Jameis is playing his best football, and this team did not give up on Koetter when many players would. The fact that Koetter kept this team fighting last year and this year even when the season was lost is truly impressive.

If the bucs can get to 8-8, or even 7-9 depending on how the team fights, I would be fine keeping Koetter.

Draft Secondary, OL, and DL and lets see how Koetter does with his offense and an at least relatively competent defense. (and a competent kicker)

  34. Tampa Bay Demon Says:

^^ Good thoughts on Eric “sleeping with” Bieniemy. — He is definitely an interesting candidate.

  35. BUC IT Says:

I’m not sure I am ready to fire Koetter. Most of the time changing the HC significantly slows the organization down. The coach implements a new scheme (takes time to learn) and then he make lots of personnel decisions and a lot of times he removes players that don’t fit his team….. A lot of times you go right back to the drawing board. If Koetter goes 3-1 from here…. I think there is a strong argument for one more season to see. Now I will say Koetter’s biggest mistake was staying too loyal to Mike Smith. That much was obvious. I have always liked McCarthy outside of the fact that he is probably the most conservative coach in football on 4th down. Just think we need to finish this season and see where we are at.

  36. arttoska@yahoo.com Says:

NO McCarthy, and no fired coaches. Don’t bring here others garbage, hopping is going to work.
Replace DK with a new fresh mid age coach. Try your best with statistics, and pray for a little bit luck.
    Go Bucs!

Two words…JOHN HARBAUGH immediately …once Baltimore let’s him go.

why would John Harbaugh accept the worst job in pro sports when he will have OPTIONS???? Please explain, I so want to know.

you fools actually believe the Glazers are trying to field a respectable product. nearly 2 decades without a meaningful win or respectable team they don’t give a damn. All they need to do is throw you fools a bone every 20 years with some 500 football and you are good for another decade and calling them glory years.

  38. D-Rome Says:

Overall, the NFL world is convinced McCarthy will have a job in a hurry. Ironically, a lot of people have compared young Jameis Winston to a cross between Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers,

The biggest difference is that by their 4th season as a starter both Rodgers and Favre won NFL MVP. Jameis is barely a top 20 QB.

Regardless, I’m not sure if Mike McCarthy would be much of an upgrade over Dirk Koetter. Certainly not if Jason Licht is doing the grocery shopping. Besides, 13 years ago he made a gutsy call to go with Aaron Rodgers instead of Green Bay’s favorite son, Brett Favre. The Joe’s would go crazy if McCarthy decided to go another direction at QB.

  39. arttoska@yahoo.com Says:

    @BUC IT
    ————————
No question Koetter got to go. One reason only, he is NOT and never will be a HC. Maybe a OK coordinator, but that is it.
The guy is terrible when Bucs loose, and is a NOTHING when Bucs win.
I don’t remember one game that we won because of his good coaching.
No matter were we go till the end of the season, he got to go.

  40. Tampabaybucfan Says:

I think it’s been one game too early to talk about replacing Koetter and that’s been for 3 games now…….Let’s see what happens Sunday.

As of now, I’d be OK with retaining Koetter as long as we hired (not Duff) a strong DC……

  41. Dewey Selmon Says:

Monken is running Dirk’s offense not his. I said weeks ago Eric Bieniemy would be a good choice with Todd Bowles as DC. Andy Reid runs a west coast offense with a Texas Tech spread sprinkled in. I also said after the Bucs lost to the Panthers 42-28 that Carolina could not razzle dazzle and run misdirection for a 16 games season once teams had tape on them.

  42. Bucsfanman Says:

McCarthy would certainly be an upgrade.

What I find absolutely astonishing is the number of people who want to keep Koetter. Did we not learn our lesson with Smith?! Koetter’s not HC material. The HC does more than control the offense and look at what we’ve had for 3 years now……HOT GARBAGE!
Records and ranks are meaningless without the wins. His W/L record speaks for itself.

  43. NewTampaChris Says:

McCarthy underperformed with an elite QB. The Packers should have won much more than they did. He kept a crappy D coordinator for years. He’s no upgrade over Koetter.

  44. Kansas95Buc Says:

People need to chill with the Keep Kotter nonsense. You want to keep a coach that refuses to touch the weakest aspect of the team???

  45. Kansas95Buc Says:

500 yards and 3 points…you gotta me effin kidding

  46. BringBucsBack Says:

Replacing a HC/ coordinator who runs an aging, yet top-rated offense with a coach who runs an aging offense & had little recent success with the leagues best quarterback? I dunno!

If the OC/ coach gets changed, I for one would love to have it filled by a young, innovative style with lots of movement & misdirection (i.e.- K.C., Bears & Carolina circa our first meeting this year).

What I do know: Build the “D”, O-line & fire Licht!

  47. Kgh4life Says:

He’s got a Super Bowl ring, so i give him credit for that, however, when you have the best QB in the league you should be competing for titles every year not just making it to the playoffs. The Patriots have Brady and their in almost every year. Also it seems McCarthy’s offense became too predictable, no innovation whatsoever, if it wasn’t for Rodgers the Packers offense would be the worst in the NFL. Bucs should look elsewhere.

  48. westernbuc Says:

The narrative that Green Bay doesn’t give Rodgers any help is stupid. They brought in Julius Peppers that year, and currently lead the NFL in sacks. The last two years they’ve brought in high profile tight ends, they constantly draft receivers.

Fact is McCarthy screwed up the Favre/Rodgers situation and couldn’t do anything outside of one super bowl.

We have the best offense in the league. If Jameis and Fitz didn’t turn the ball over so much this team would be serious contenders. Duffner turned this defense around. Now imagine if our o line could run block….

  49. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Duthsty Rhothdes Says
“… if he does want the job, he would want complete control and that would mean the worst gm in the nfl jason licht needs to go…”

Not even close. He would not want full control. He’d want to leave contract demands to someone else, and that someone would be on of the best in the league…Jason Licht.

    Kgh4life Says
“The Patriots have Brady and their in almost every year.”

Actually, as I mentioned above…In 13 years he’s only had 3 losing seasons. He kept the Packers ‘in it’ until Rodgers went down to injury.

Lord, it sound’s like I’m promoting the guy. I’m not. I’m just stating hte facts as they are recorded. No need for misinformation.

  50. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    I AGREE!!!!!!!!!!

if we keep dirk, he’ll be on the “HOT SEAT” all offseason and during the regular season…..we all witnessed how he performs under pressure…..he folds!!!!!!!!

when the pressure was on dirk to fix things while we still had an actual shot at the playoffs(redskins & giants game) he failed to get a “W”……

dirk performs the best without any pressure….no pressure the first 3games because folks thought we’ll lose and we win 2 of the 3…..pressure to maintain that success and he fails….pressure to right the ship, he fails and we have a losing streak……folks think we’re finished and now we win back to back games…..

like you said, you gotta be kidding me…..

    #NOEXCUSESIN2018!!!!…#PRESSURESONTHECOACHES!!!!….GO BUCS!!!!

  52. SOEbuc Says:

People are seriously gonna say keep Koetter over McCarthy?! Koetter has NO CLUE about the defensive side of the ball. McCarthy might be an offensive coach but he’s a vet HC with 9 outta 10 winning seasons. Koetter has three years HC experience= 9-7, 5-11, and only 5-7 now because the Glazers and Licht made him fire Smith. Koetter has a weak ass play book and has no idea how to run an entire team. If Duff can prove himself the rest of the year, keep him on and pick up McCarthy.

  53. 813bucboi Says:

    bonzai

he may be willing to stay now that urban meyer is gone…..he could run the BIG10 then….

    Bucsfanman Says
“What I find absolutely astonishing is the number of people who want to keep Koetter.”

That’s because he’s earning it. Clearly, you’ve made up your mind already. So nothing will likely change it.

But Koetter has given us one of the top offenses for years, kept this team fighting, developed a stellar WR group, and more.

The only real mistake he made was wanting to remain loyal to Mike Smith last off season.

And, for the record…if a guy is not a good head coach? He loses the confidence of his players. You know, like Raheem Morris, Greg Schiano, etc.

But the players are still giving it all they’ve got for him.

  55. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

If I owned the team…I would sign Licht and Koetter to 5 year deals, replace the QB coach, the OL coach and the entire defensive staff…and the special teams coordinator.

Not only do I believe Koetter is the right man for the job long term, but it would have the benefit of ticking off all the haters and predictors who are saying he’ll be fired.

    No more hot seat.

  56. zzbuc Says:

Do you seriously consider we have a talented roster under Koetter´s tenure? We have a talented WR and TE corp, we have JPP……what about running game? what about secondary? what about errant QB´s? What about kickers? Seriously do you consider the Bucs a coaching problem? this people are coaches not magicians!!!!!! Open your eyes, we have serious talent problem on this team……Is about talent and GM problem….he made just 5/6 good draft picks the rest were terrible!!!!!

  57. Bucsfanman Says:

Bonzai- I’ll give you that his players haven’t quit on him, but lets not get all ga-ga over his offense. It’d be different if we were hanging 30+ on teams regularly.
We are posting huge passing numbers because we’re playing from behind constantly. It has very little to do with being an “offensive powerhouse”!
The fact is we have canned numerous HCs for less reasons.
There’s been little development, questionable play-calling, and horrific defenses. I just don’t see the allure.

  58. uckinator Says:

News Flash Buckaroos ! McCarthy had a very good record WITHOUT free agents to help booster his team. He had to stock his team just through the draft and free agents. The suits at Green Bay didn’t believe in free agents. All things considered, McCarthy is a pretty darn good coach. with what he had to work with.

  59. 813bucboi Says:

    bonzai

    i disagree…..

dirk hasnt earned the benefit of the doubt just yet….the only thing he’s earned is the position that he’s put himself in which is still on the hot seat…..

besides pass catchers, name another player that has developed under dirk since he’s been HC that licht has drafted……

last year playoff teams fired their HC……teams that finished with a winning record fired coaches…..

dirk is not HC material…..he’s still on the hot seat….

  63. Not there yet Says:

I am not a fan of Koetter and will probably never like a coach who decides to have a rotation at guard every year instead of letting the sorry player sit the bench. He’s a horrible coach

The glazers need to realize that stock in the players of this team will never be as high as it is now, go after a coach any coach while you can, don’t let this team underachieve for another year with Koetter

  64. Jason S. Mclaurin Says:

Keep Dirk Koetter and Jason Licht and Jameis Winston one more season. I can’t say it enough but we just need to get one more complete season with this particular staff. They should honestly give him a 1year extension right now so the guy at least knows he will get here and we can begin scheming for next season or the rest of this one

AS FAR AS THE 500 YARDS AND 3 POINTS AGAINST THE REDSKINS….

    -FITZPATRICK 2 TURNOVERS

    -JACQUIZ RODERS FUMBLE

    -2 MISSED FIELD GOALS.

NONE OF WHICH ARE KOETTERS FAULT… HE DOES AN EXCELLENT JOB GAME PLANNING AND PUTTING THE OFFENSE IN POSITION TO SUCCEED…

EVEN LOOK BACK AT MONKINS PRESS CONFERENCE SAYING THAT KOETTER IS THE SMARTEST OFFENSIVE MIND HES EVER BEEN AROUND!!!

BUCS FANS ARE UNKNOWLEDGEABLE, WATCH THE DAMN GAMES AND PAY ATTENTION..

ONLY FAULT IVE SEEN KOETTER MAKING WAS BRINGING BACK MIKE SMITH, BUT THAT COULD BE A BLESSING IF DUFFNER IS THE REAL DEAL LIKE HES BEEN COACHING THE DEFENSE SINCE HE TOOK OVER.

BENCHING JAMIES MADE JAMIES REALIZE WHAT HE HAD TO LOSE AND IF YOU LISTEN TO HIS DEMEANOR SINCE HE TOOK BACK OVER, THAT WHAT WE NEED AS A LEADER.

GIVE THEM AT LEAST ONE MORE YEAR TO GEL AND IF NOT I AGREE 100% ON A NEW OVERLOAD OF THE WHOLE COACHING STAFF AND FRONT OFFICE.

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR BUCS FANS.

  70. Clarence Says:

The Bucs need to keep Koetter because McCarthy was fired. With that vacancy available, no top coaching candidate will choose Tampa Bay. It’s sad but true. Firing Koetter now means getting a second rate candidate in his place.

  71. GhostofSchiano Says:

I’m sold on Kris Richard for HC. The man continues to add to his Resume, what the Cowboys did to the Saints was just another highlight on a strong body of work.

  72. Alanbucsfan Says:

Koetter is good at one thing: passing game scheme
    It was Koetter who:
    stayed with Smith too long
decided Fitzpatrick was the best option at qb through 4 losses, virtually ruining the season
cannot develop a decent running game in 3 years
They beat 49ers and reeling Panthers.
The Def coaches have revitalized the D – Koetter obviously had little to do with it, and the improvement of the D has led to fewer turnovers because they’re not playing from 20 pts down.
But if they can’t run the ball, Saints, Ravens and Cowboys will be in Jameis’ face all day
And what kind of head coach lets a player decide what position he will or will not play? Parcells is probably shaking his head…

The dude won a title.. but the rest of the time he had one of the best qbs in the league and didnt win another?

Packer fans are happy he’s gone. They know football. Listen to them.

“no top coaching candidate will choose Tampa Bay. It’s sad but true.”

New jerseys would definintly help bring a HC to Tampa.

    813bucboi,

I enjoyed the humour in your post saying send Dirk to KC to learn how a modern offense works.

    Hilarious……
    Reid modernized.
Koetter stubbornly clings to an updated scheme……….meanwhile
buc fans who know the game want koetter to move in the direction of shorter passes which define the direction the league is moving to.

Related subject…has there been any word on any additional upgrades to Ray Jay.
Specifically, construction of a partial enclosure to provide shade to the upper and lower decks.

More football to play. Much like pouty Bucs “fans” were ready to cut our QB after a 4 pick game (then realized we probably would be 7-5 right now had he started those games); firing the architect of our most prolific offense ever (only to realize you jacked up the best thing you ever had and now have to wait 3-4 years to get it back) is what Bucs history tells me. History of the NFL and any high stress, high skilled team (Team) effort: want to keep losing consistently? Fire the leader regularly. Go Bucs!
