Can’t Blame Jameis

December 24th, 2017

Misguided hate.

Of course, the haters will come out of the woodwork blaming America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, and his fumbles for the loss.

These folks need a hobby.

If not for Jameis, this Bucs team had no prayer of winning. Dude made plays right and left. Made NFL hangers-on like Bobo Wilson and the Vero Beach Ramada Inn lounge act Freddie Martino look solid. Threw for 367 yards. Completed 27 of 21 passes. No picks.

Yet the haters blame Jameis.

These folks need to be locked in the bedroom and forced to play Madden for 48 hours straight with Brett Hundley as their quarterback.

Just imagine what this team could be if America’s Present Laughingstock, Investigated, Losing, Fumbling, Captain of Immaturity, Only Seen in Local Markets, Backed into Pro Bowler Because Three Others Backed Out and Never Returned, Rarely Hits a Receiver In Stride, Prayer Throwing, Peyton Manning, W eating, Mr. Magoo aka Jameis Winston could actually score in the first half. Can we call him 50 cent because he only plays two quarters? Just wait until the media sees him pushing that guy on the sideline. Haha.

  2. Since76 Says:

No comment on the temper tantrum from a supposed “leader”?

  3. AlteredEgo Says:

Nope….NO Blame anywhere !…the past 3 games this team has played to the best of their ability….there are talent holes on both sides of the line….fingers crossed for a good draft and FA signing….
    Coaches stay !
    Patience Coach Hoppers

  4. denjoe Says:

No the fumbles helped us fanboy!

  5. Rod Munch Says:

LOL! People upset that Jameis is upset that he comes away from a pile with the ball – and the refs instead give the ball and the game to the Panthers. I guess you’d rather have Jameis recover the ball and then lose the game on a BS call and come away from the pile saying “oh gee, I guess the call didn’t go my way this time, oh well.” You people are just garbage. Do me a favor and get some skydiving lessons for Christmas, then pack your parachute with beef stew. You won’t be missed.

  6. Tom Edrington Says:

Amazing how Jameis went Charlie Manson on everyone at the end of the game…..

  7. Tampabaybucfan Says:

This game is on Koetter……pi$$ poor playcalling and time management.

You simply can’t put up Jameis’ numbers and come away with 1 touchdown.

Fools blaming Jameis need to find another team because aren’t changing QBs.

  8. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Joe, what’s with all the moderation?…….

  9. Easy Says:

You can’t fumble the damn football Joes. Yea he played a helluva game but you can’t say the fumbles weren’t a factor

  10. DB55 Says:

That was Shelton Quarles that he shoved 10yards down field if only McCoy could do the same.

Winston is all fire and heart he hates to lose. Rather have that than someone who would rather take selfies with Kurt Cousins after giving up a 24-0 lead.

  11. Bucs68 Says:

I’ve seen Steve Young flip out during a game. He was white though so he was a fiery competitor. We should get rid of Jameis like Young…. they are losers.

  12. DB55 Says:

The fumbles weren’t a factor! Especially when Winston gives you a 4 point lead with 30 secs left in the game.

  13. Since76 Says:

Everyone justifying the temper tentrum, please explain how they helped anything? Is that what you would want in a leader – an irrational hothead? One can be upset and actually have some self-control

  14. Son of Kobe Faker Says:

Why o why cant klueless run short passes

1 slant to godwin and thats it…lol

You sheep see the rams offense?

    Thats grudog offense

Amazing you clowns want this fool to hc next year

    You fools

  15. Bucs68 Says:

If your QB is hit on 60 plus percent of his drop backs there will be fumbles.

  16. Bucssuccs Says:

America’s turnover machine with another act of immaturity

  17. BucFamous Says:

James has been playing really well these last two games, and he’s been doing it with scrubs on the Oline and at WR (the return of Freddie Martino?).

The team shares the blame on the fumbles–if we had an Oline worth a dman three different Panthers players wouldn’t have converged on James at the exact same time causing a fumble, and if Jameis had recognized that the pocket collapsed (was there a pocket to begin with?) he should’ve pulled the ball in and protected.

But, yeah, this is exactly the game haters love to come out and pretend he was “horrible.” LOL Ok. There’s just too many Gators in this fanbase that refused to accept him to begin with. It is what it is. They’re welcome to hate him for many years to come because he’s not going anywhere.

  18. Baker Mayfield Says:

No Id rather him not put it on the ground 3 times. If a running back fumbled 3 times in a game you would never see him again. But Jameis everyone says how great he is SMH

  19. Waterboy Says:

I thought it was a solid game by Winston the first fumble I’d put on the left tackle he was hit while throwing. By the time the 2nd fumble occurred it was over already after the missed field goal. The temper tantrum at the end was unacceptable I like the competitive nature and fire but he has to learn how to control himself and appropriately handle himself in those situations.

  20. Lakeland Says:

    The Bucs problem is:

    Lack of scoring TDs

10 games, scoring 21 points or less

5 games of scoring less than 20 points

    11th in total offense

Tied for 20th in points scored

  21. kgh4life Says:

Winston shouldn’t be excused on how he acted at the end of the game, its just wrong, however, it seems like a lot of people want to run him out of town. If Winston leaves the Bucs for whatever reason who would replace him? Its not easy finding a franchise QB. Its very clear that Winston has a lot of passion for the game and he needs to channel that passion in a constructive way and he will learn to do that. He needs the right coaching staff to help him. By the way he was getting punished out there today, gotta shore up that OL.

  22. Waterboy Says:

I meant right tackle not left.

  23. firethecannons Says:

On board with Rod Munch, Panthers defense in the backfield all game, cant and wont blame Jameis, third fumble recovered obviously by Jameis, where was DK on that? seems as if it should of been looked at by way of red flag, Koetter seemed unable to do anything.

NEWSFLASH: JAMEIS HAD ANOTHER GREAT GAME!

Man-so many frauds on this website (season is over you are a bonafide loser)

  24. Red86 Says:

Only one fumble could “possibly” be Jameis fault. That was the missed snap. The rest was very poor blocking pretty much the whole game.

  25. AlteredEgo Says:

Does this mean we get Hard Knocks again….

  26. Mike30#1bucfan Says:

yeah, it’s to bad the quarterback has more fire than any player on the defensive side of the ball!!!!!!

  27. Rod Munch Says:

firethecannons – In fairness to Dirk, and I’m not a Dirk backer, he can’t challenge that last play as its within the last 2 mins – that is done in the booth, the same booth that didn’t look at the 4th and short play as well.

  28. Mike Johnson Says:

Jameis currently is the new,,Dan Marino. HE throws well, leads his troops from behind, and plays hard. However he’s sucked up everything Koetter can teach him. He’s turnover and fumble prone also. Time for Koetter and his Tonto..Smitty to..pack bags!!

  29. MadMax Says:

Other than JW losing his jit and acting childish at the end, Im good with him….this week and last week. Now the prior weeks, nope!

  30. DislocatedBucsFan Says:

    @55

    That last one sure mattered.

  31. DislocatedBucsFan Says:

But… he did have a great game other than those turnovers

  32. Rod Munch Says:

For those complaining about the sack/fumbles – you’re the same people that complained about the INTs. Well guess what dopes, if you have no offensive line and you’re telling the QB that he can’t throw INTs, that means he can’t force the ball into tight windows, which means he’s holding onto the ball longer, which increases the chances of being sacked.

Considering there was no running game and Dirk runs a vertical offense behind a terrible offensive line – what exactly do you think the outcome is going to be when you tell the QB you need to stay inside the pocket AND you can’t force the ball?

I seriously wonder if any of you dopes know anything about football. Winston has great pocket presence, he rolls around inside the pocket, he always keeps his eyes downfield, but he doesn’t have WRs that can get open. D-Jax was brought in to solve that problem, otherwise it’s throwing 50/50 balls to Evans like last year, and you dopes then complain about that. So what is Winston supposed to do? He escaped a bunch of sacks today and was under constant pressure. Also the last sack/fumble, again there was nothing for Winston to do, his guys aren’t open, you’re under 40 seconds in the game, you can’t throw it out of bounds since he’s inside the pocket, and Dirk wasted a TO on the prior series so you only have one TO. Also throw in the fact that Winston recovered the football – that’s sort of a biggie.

Learn some football people then get back to me.

  33. Rod Munch Says:

MadMax – Getting PO’d that the refs just awarded the game to the other team when you came away from the pile with the ball, I’m not sure how being upset at that is “childish”. If I was in that situation and some moron union slob refs just gave the game away I’d be going nuts as well.

  34. Season Is Over Says:

    The Winstopologies continue.

  35. Lakeland Says:

6 times in the Red Zone and 19 points. That’s been the Bucs problem all season.

  36. Ndog Says:

So Season is over a guy throws for 300 plus yards and has the lead with 2 minutes to go and btw doing it while getting sacked 7 times. So you want him to block from himself, run block, play defense and make kicks too? Man you people have no idea what you are watching. My goodness it is sad.

  37. Ndog Says:

Thank you Rod thank you that is perfect.

  38. jb Says:

Joe, Did you watch the very end of the game? If so, you’ve lost all credibility with the above statements. My 8 year old grandson is every bit as mature as your favorite quarterback. But you go ahead and keep sullying your reputation as a “JOURNALIST” . lol

  39. Son of Kobe Faker Says:

Rod munch and my dad are the 2 mental giants of this website

  40. Lakeland Says:

19 points won’t win you many games in the NFL. People can talk about the defense and point fingers. But the bottom line is, you have to score points in TODAY NFL. The total yards don’t mean nothing if you’re not scoring TDs.

  41. SOEbuc Says:

Jameis makes a ton of gorgeous throws when he has time in the pocket. He can rocket the ball into the smallest holes and has really nice touch at times. Maybe not good touch going deep (could change with more time) but everything starts up front for the QB and our up front SUCKS!!! I just think what could be with a good Oline.

  42. Broy34CantBelieveTheStupidity Says:

Munch it baffles me how clueless people are. I work with people the same way. Claim Winston sucks and I’ve stopped wasting my time defending Winston. He’s black so he’s hated(and im white for the record) if he were white people would think he’s good. His defense is atrocious his line atrocious his run game atrocious his coaching is abysmal. He has 2 wide receivers and his coach doesn’t know how to use either. But yep he should throw 400 yards no picks no fumbles every game. Jesus

  43. Bird Says:

Jameis needs to cut out the turnovers but has looked good last 2 games

  44. Pete Says:

You can teach Jamies ball security and maturity. You can’t teach the raw talent as a QB that he possesses. In 5 years he’ll be 28. I’ll take my chances with him over the next five years.

The defense gave up yet ANOTHER chance to close out the game. (That’s the 5th or 6th time, isn’t it?) The D is the problem. They went from winning the game to playing not to lose. And we know how that always turns out.

  45. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Buc68 thank you for that! Isn’t it funny that if Tim Brady did it he’s

  46. Baker Mayfield Says:

Just because you criticize 3 does not mean you want him gone.
He has major flaws though he is 2-9 and you guys blame a different group every week. Yes the o=Line weak but Jameis has get rid of the ball.

  47. loggedontosay Says:

The people who are blaming Winston are not Buc fans; they are a collective of people who are opportunists that attack black QB’s. They will not attack Russell Wilson because it would be too obvious.

  48. DB55 Says:

4 point lead given up yet again, true or false? That’s it end of story.

  49. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Tom Brady on the Bucs he’s a fiery competitor Winston is childish and immature. Ben Rapistburger on the Bucs they’d say he was never convicted Winston never convicted but people like bucnut2 calls him a convict. The double standard is ridiculous. Fameis has to be flawless for these people to like him. They’d probably want Blaine Gabbert instead

  50. Lakeland Says:

    DB55

A 4 point lead is nothing in the NFL. That’s the Bucs problem, they keep games close so their defense can lose it late. Why the Bucs offense are not putting teams away? That’s the million dollar question, they move the ball well, but they don’t score many points.

  51. Buc_The_World Says:

Joe quit trying to tell these Atlanta…Carolina…I mean fake Bucs fans anything. Facts don’t matter to them, all they want to do is complain because their little minds can’t accept the truth so they nitpick everything Jameis does. If he drinks coke they will say he should have drank Pepsi. If he looks right he should have looked left. It doesn’t matter. Superman can put on a Bucs uniform and throw for 1999 yards in one game and the will say he should have 2000, he not the Superman we thought he was. Many of you are more immature on this site than Jameis is and is far older. Sure none of you never go upset at your job because you all are saints(Or Saints fans) Fact of the matter you guys can keep blowing out your gasbag but you are stuck with Jameis barring a guilty uber incident, but don’t put to much faith in that.

  52. Eric Says:

I never seen more excusesfor a player in my life… must be because he us black. No way a Hispanic, Asian, Arab, or White would be allowed so many excuses! Seriously if purple man threw for 4 touchdowns a gane I would support him. What I can support is a loser who onlys scores one touchdown in 6 redzone attempts. Who goves a crap how many yards he throws for if there are no Td’s as a result. Dumb semenhoes

  53. Bucs fan #7423 Says:

I hate that Winston keeps turning the ball over, but was happy he felt the same anger and pain I did when we lost the game

  54. loggedontosay Says:

There are corrections that can be made to Mike Evans’ game that will make him even more unstoppable. The only thing that is stopping Evans’ game is Evans. His push offs and hand checks are hindering his routes by slowing him down.

  55. Baker Mayfield Says:

If everyone who you guys say are real buc fans showed up to a game, there would be like 30 of you.

  56. Cgmaster Says:

ERic the angry gaytor fan? That’s the only reason you call out nole fans. The center snap he dropped was on him, but you want to blame time blind side hits on him? No excuses, just fact, Jameis isn’t going anywhere. So fake ass fans like you can either get on board, or pick a new team.

  57. AlteredEgo Says:

Yahoo is featuring it….sad….read the comments if you want a non Buc fan take on Jameis

  58. loggedontosay Says:

    Baker Mayfield,

Where is he going to get rid of the ball.
    ?

  59. loggedontosay Says:

    Eric,
What excuses are you referring to??

  60. Eric Says:

The fact that we played the last two games so close begs the question, why are we 4-11?

Did the coaches get the most out of the talent we have?

Can’t imagine the Glazers or Licht think the answer is yes.

  61. loggedontosay Says:

    Alterego

A non Buc fan, what ever that is, would not have watched Jameis play. Why would anyone care what they say?

  62. nole4JabooANDdBucs Says:

Jameis was not a fumbler in college….so….
Jameis has outplayed the last 2 MVP QBs, and they throw interceptions and doesn’t make
the best passes…but JW mistakes are over amplified.
Just like his emotional display after he recovered his on fumble. So he was just suppose to speak softly and ignore it!

Any passionate athelete is going to react after a hard fault battle, and week after week you come up short and usually the ref’s cause some of it.

But of course you, couch and fantasy atheletes wouldnn’t know about that! It amazes me Mike is 24 very passionate and emotional, JW is 23 very passionate and emotional! Maybe you old farts have forgot what it feels like to be young with passion and emotion.

I rather have their fire than lay on the comfort of my couch far from the MOST VIOLENT SPORT there is!

  63. Lakeland Says:

They need to turn some of that emotion into touchdowns. It don’t make sense for a team to go up and down the field, then go backwards once they get in the Red Zone. The Bucs need to fix this problem, it won’t fix itself.

  64. JimmyJack Says:

Great gameplan to call a ton of deep drop backs allowing the Panthers to put a lot of heat on Winston. It was the cause of the first fumble and stall a lot of our drives with sacks and directly led to some of our red zone diffencency.

I’ll give our Oline credit for holding up on more plays then they did last game against the Panthers. But allowing six sacks is unacceptable and the gameplan was garbage to call all the deep drop backs…….Dirk coached us into domination at home against the Panthers and he didn’t adjust in this one.

This guy don’t know how to run the team.

  65. TonyT Says:

I’ll blame him can’t keep the ball. Dude a fumble machine.

  66. Nate Says:

Why you afraid to blame Koetter Joe…LOL

20 point avg scoring AGAIN that BIT THE BUCS BACK in a LOSS…..3 years wanna shoot for 4???

so glad you cant entirely blame mike smith on this one you cant even put who to blame in the article …..LOL

  67. Season Is Over Says:

Even Newton left the field without shaking the hand of Tampa’s Embarrassment. America’s Present Laughingstock, Investigated, Losing, Fumbling, Captain of Immaturity and Sportsmanship, Only Seen in Local Markets, Backed into Pro Bowler Because Three Others Backed Out and Never Returned, Rarely Hits a Receiver In Stride, Prayer Throwing, Peyton Manning, W eating, Mr. Magoo aka Jameis Winston ran right by Newton to tell the ref he had that ball again. Morale victory.

  68. nole4JabooANDdBucs Says:

Thank you Rod, for keeping it real…these people can’t be seriously..watching the same games and come out so clueless!

Way to go Madmax, Ndog, DB55….

  69. Season Is Over Says:

  70. Wausa Says:

Yep you know all of the other QB’s in the NFL don’t fumble when getting hit from behind over and over again.

All of the other Qb’s in the NFL win with a horrific defense and no running game.

I hope all of you idiots that want Jameis to go get your wish.

Jameis is already elite and I would love to see him win multiple championships with an organization that has good coaching and a strong GM.

Jamies is far an away the Bucs best QB in the history of the franchise.

  71. Eric Says:

According to the ticker on the screen on the Cowboys game, Jameis had best passing stats in the NFL today.

Let’s get him the hell out of here.

  72. Kansas95Buc Says:

As of right now, Jameis is the number 1 QB with the most yards but he sucks……..

  73. Lakeland Says:

Tomorrow we will be reading about all of the Bucs passing yards. All of the team passing records falling. But we will never hear about the lack of scoring TDs. You’re not going to beat these team with FGs, these teams are too good. This is not an individual problem, this is a team problem.

  74. nole4JabooANDdBucs Says:

    Ditto….Buc the world
I actually think the JW haters are more immature than what they try to make him out to be!

  75. DB55 Says:

    Lake

so their defense can lose it late.
    —————-
    Amen! Truest story of all.

  76. DB55 Says:

More specifically McCoy could lose it late.

  77. Wausa Says:

Hard to score iTD’s when you have no running game.

The Bucs have the worst running backs in the NFL

  78. EA Says:

Ever since Winston was stripped of his C patch he has played a bit better.

  79. Roy T. Buford Says:

@Joe…You said: “These folks need a hobby.” Last I checked, a QB is needed to snap the ball, occasionally throw, it, hand it off, or even run it to win a football game.

Last I checked, a QB is needed to play well enough NOT LOSE THE GAME in the end by protecting the football. Jameis did not play well enough NOT TO LOSE THE GAME.

As I posted earlier, there were two fumbles, a penalty, and a missed FG. ANY ONE OF THOSE perhaps meant the game. Jameis all over two. You may be worried about losing access to Jameis by posting factual damaging stuff (or not worried…I just disagree), but others or us are not worried. Jameis, as usual, made mistakes that accumulated to likely lose the game. Yeah, he Swaggy, Murray (or who may have botched thed snap/hold) had a hand in it. Coaching too.

I’m not afraid of getting kicked out of the media room, or not having access to a new staff. OH, not saying you are….or not saying you are NOT. You defend the in defensible. Jameis did what Koetter said he can’t do. And I THINK you have some crazy idea that Gruden, who had 4 of 7 losing seasons, will come in here and fix it. That is all media wet dreams.

Jameis’s mistake might have blown the this game, and blew it two weeks ago. The fact he played well doesn’t mean he didn’t blow it in the end. This is what Dirk was talking about pre-season. Or did you miss that?

  80. not there yet Says:

You haters talking down on Winston are likely the Mike Glennon mob hangovers praying for a white quarterback. Go root for Miami or Jacksonville if you don’t like Winston. Getting mad about a finale with that little time on the clock you’ve got to be joking if you think a 4-11 team would drive that ball down field

When koetter ever had an offense that could do that. That coward coach with 4 wins on his resume kicking field goals inside the 20 was the problem so I was glad Murray missed. Dirk is a coward and he needs to be fired, a real head coach knows how to control his sidelines and would never let anyone on his staff be pushed like that. Koetter is weak and soft

  81. JimmyJack Says:

And this is two years in a row now that our depth at RT has been exposed badly. This guy Benetoch is an absolute stiff and doesn’t belong on an NFL roster. Dirk obviously did a second rate job addressing our depth at that position.

Dirks guard play has been a complete atrocity this year. Just another area to look at where the adjective “regression” comes to mind.

The goal was to surround Winston with good protection. A goal that was looking like a success before Dirk took the helm. I know it’s sexy to blame Licht for building it but coaching has to do its part too…….From what I remember we had pretty decent line play in 2015 with young player that were expected to gel and get even better. I’m calling out Dirk on this issue where this Line has gotten worse each year under his charge. The depth has gotten worse too.

And one look at a guy like Benechoch being used at depth leads me to believe Dirk has to be accountable for some of that decision making since he was already on the team practicing everyday……..Fix the trenches? Maybe get rid of Dirk and they are fixed without needing tons of new players.

  82. Jimmy T Says:

Anyone who blames Jameis is a fool. All I know is he is healthy and completing 75 % of his passes. He didn’t waste 50 seconds and call running plays after the Adam Humohries catch before halftime. He didn’t drop the pass that hit him in the hands, and don’t say It was a bad pass, Godwin should have caught. Jameis didn’t slip in the end after pushing off. Despite people who hate Jameis he will be here for 12 to 14 more years

  83. JimmyJack Says:

You need a real coach that can look at a guy like Benechoch and tell his GM that we need another tackle in here cause what we have isn’t going to work out……..Maybe Licht made the decision but that don’t seem likely to me.

One look at moving Marpet to C and our guards playing like a pile of featherweights tells me that Dirk doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing with the Oline……..Not that Marpet is the only evidence

  84. Roy T. Buford Says:

Jimmy T…you are right…not Jameis. My DVR shows (and apparently Joe’s DVR shows) Dirk Koetter running out onto the field knocking the ball out of JW#3’s hands. Dang, I hate it when he does that. To many plays lost, Jameis part of two of them, that meant the game. Sometimes to win you can’t put the ball on the ground. It’s a simple rule. Sometimes you can’t miss a FG. Sometimes you can’t have a penalty. And sometimes you can’t put the ball on the ground TWICE.

  85. Season Is Over Says:

Koetter won’t do anything about Winston’s tirade. He should be suspended the next game to set an example. This isn’t even the first incident this year. It is one of the reasons why Koetter doesn’t command respect. Lynch sure outsmarted Licht on Garrapollo.

  86. Roy T. Buford Says:

My apologies guys. Winston was credited with THREE fumbles today.

  87. Cgmaster Says:

SEASOn is over koetter won’t do anything as that’s called passion. We know most of you supposed fans want stiffs on the field accustomed to losing, but if Brady did the same thing you wouldn’t have a problem em with it. Jamie’s has been fantastic since coming back and you haters will grasp at anything. Emberrassing some Bucs fans are.

there were two video clips along with the story….same thing showed on TV for us…end of game tantrum …then pushing Shelton Quarrels aside after Shelton looped out ahead of Jameis as soon as he realized was heading back on the field running his mouth at the refs

  89. DB55 Says:

    Roy

I’d like to vomit in your face, is that possible? Are you really that stupid or did mommy and daddy raise you to hate “fumblers” Roy T Buford?

  90. DB55 Says:

    You’re gay too.

  91. DB55 Says:

Why don’t we just hand out polaroids and after we lose we can get McCoy to shake for you real fans.

  92. firethecannons Says:

    everything Joe said–right on!
    Go Bucs!

and we are still in for early pik!!!!!!!!

  93. Season Is Over Says:

Knocking over a Buc’s legend in Quarles to complain about a fumble that was already called like a whiny little b is called passion? I would rather have respectable sportsmanship. That is what players follow. Respect is won between the whistles.

  94. Lakeland Says:

I don’t have a problem with Jameis Winston or any Buc player. The problem I have, is with the staff. Everyone keep saying how good of a playcaller Dirk Koetter is. They brag about his Top-10 offenses. But they don’t score many points. Three seasons with Dirk Koetter calling the plays.

    2015 – 6014 Total Yards- 21.4 PPG

    2016 – 5542 Total Yards- 22.1 PPG

    2017- 5361-Total Yards- 20-3 PPG

  95. TonyT Says:

Here is a fact. JW leads the leauge in fumbles…..The guy who touches the ball every play leads the league in fumbles, and we are surprised by our record.

  96. AlteredEgo Says:

DD55….Jameis’s accuracy has improved greatly in recent games along with decision making……now go read in the comment section in the Yahoo front page story….and tell me how the national audience views James’s behavior and maturity….they were not kind to Cam Newton either….two emotionally retarded ..Hugely ! talented football players…

Winston played a great game. That’s now what 4 games the defense couldn’t hold a lead to win? And 1 game lost from kicking…

This game is the story of our season. Terrible play calling / play designs in the red zone / in general and the biggest choke artist of a defense in the NFL. On top of terrible fumbling issues primarily with our QB.

That’s the difference in a 9-11 win season and the bullsh1t we’ve had to witness

  98. lightningbuc Says:

It’s obvious to all who are not a Jaboo honk that Polk County’s Icky Licky Finger QB ain’t quite all there. Elevator don’t go all the way to the top. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer. A few sandwiches short of a picnic.

  99. Tgregs Says:

Completed 27 of 21 passes Now that’s real Joe manlove

  100. loggedontosay Says:

    Season is over,

You are not a Buc fan. You are an opportunist that has nothing relevant to say. Even after NFLNut spanked you like a female dog you are back for more. Lets do this.

  101. Season Is Over Says:

I must have missed that. Was that part of the cherry picking “Healthy game stats” he keeps spouting?

  102. DB55 Says:

    Altered

Here’s what I think. Both Cam and Winston won national championships and heismans. Not sure how many yahoo posters have done so also. Cam has played in the SB and I’m positive jameis will too once he leaves this ass backwards town.

So forgive me for not giving an actual fk about what these losers bums and racists have to say.

Truth is they mad a black man winning on and off the field. And as to your perceived proper European etiquette and rules of proper behavior, hear me now, FCK YOUR ETTIQUETTE!!!!

Trade Winston and play Ryan Griffin. See how well ya do then. He’ll play fitz he’s a proven winner!!!! Lololol.

  103. satchseven Says:

looks like the time off has helped jw3 but folks if your qb gets sacked 6 times bad things will happen

  104. loggedontosay Says:

    Season is over,

You still have not said anything relevant. You’re just crying, “I do not like Jamie’s because he is black.” Your are pathetic!

  105. Lakeland Says:

    lol DB55

I moved from Lakeland to Atlanta over 32 years ago. I know the score down there, I wouldn’t live down there for all of the money in the world.

  106. JimmyJack Says:

Yeah satchseven……….No doubt the Panthers forced some on those mistakes. Anybody not realizing that has their heads in the clouds.

This is what happened last time we played Carolina as well. They got even more pressure last time and Winston made more mistakes.

I gave up on that game when I kept seeing constant deep drops being called. There was no adjustment made to the Panthers Dline dictating the game last time. Our gameplan just simply doesn’t change week to week and it plays right into the strength on pass rushing teams.

The coach is a joke. An absolute joke. And his offense was just as bad last year. It just ain’t working.

  107. Lakeland Says:

Jason Licht, Dirk Koetter, Mike Smith is the problem. Licht didn’t add a decent RB,CB,DE,DT,OL. Dirk Koetter panic in the Red Zone. Mike Smith is a pathetic DC.

  108. Season Is Over Says:

Haha. The race card? Nice try. That is what weak-minded individuals resort to. I complained about Marpet at center and defended Doug Martin. Does that mean I’m racist also? What did I say that was wrong if “your” so smart?

  109. DB55 Says:

    Lake

    You already know man smdh.

  110. loggedontosay Says:

    Alterego,

I responded to your post. It was perfect. Joe want let me post post it.

So What! You are concerned about Jameis Winston being upset and not about the Bucs being cheated again. If that happened to the Seahawks you would have to hold back half the team. Close your eyes and image that it was Tom Brady.

  111. T Syce Says:

It’s official. Joe and Winston are lovers. How else do you explain the fact that he can do no wrong in Joe’s eyes? And the fact that he fails to address how he KEEPS TURNING THE F***ING BALL OVER!!!!!!!! I guess love really is blind.

  112. JimmyJack Says:

People upset that Winston got mad after losing?

It doesn’t bother me at all. When I’m sitting there pathetically disgusted and embarrassed by my team I’m happy to see that one of its players is dam angry too.

Quite honestly I wouldn’t mind one bit if he blew up at his Oline from time to time.

The kid has got talent and it’s being ruined. Since Dirk has taken control we can’t run the ball or protect the QB……..We also, though we don’t drop many, drop a ton of key third down/end zone throws and hinder ourselves quite often via pentalties.

As a unit our offense does not look professional in the slightest.

  113. loggedontosay Says:

Season is over what is a race card? Is that something you say after exposing yourself as a racist? You thought it was going to go unchecked. Why would you defend Doug Martin? Seriously dude is horrible. I got it! That was your card to throw in the conversation when you got checked for being deplorable.

  114. BobbyBucs Says:

    Joe your journalism is horrific

When someone fumbles multiple times and is newest and latest tantrum is a headline on yahoo and the news outlets, it’s you that needs a hobby. Clearly this isn’t working out well for you anymore. All these comments are insults towards your terrible “reporting.”

  115. not there yet Says:

Damn I remember Schiano doing that thing called coaching like putting the defense through drops and practicing tackling. You can do things to coach up protection, they do that thing with running backs all the time they call it coaching. Everyone comes into the league with weaknesses even Brady so you help your players out with coaching. Something for had never had to do. Imagine dirk doesn’t try understand the role of a head coach. I’m sure he’ll give Winston a good talking about his fumbling issues. You could see this coming in preseason like when they got waxed by Cleveland. I’m ready for a new coach so is Winston, players want a head coach that can get them a chip and a big contract, dirk is leading them to a top draft picks, something these guys care nothing about

  116. Roy T. Buford Says:

Dumbest comment in the history of the board: “The fumbles weren’t a factor.”

    Priceless.

  117. loggedontosay Says:

You do understand what I meant by calling you an opportunist right? Or don’t y’all hav books in dem dear woods?

  118. Season Is Over Says:

The comments are right there for anyone to read, Genius.

  119. loggedontosay Says:

What do you mean? The fumbles were a factor? If so, how were they a factor? At the moment it is not the dumbest statement in this post.

  120. Big Stinky Says:

Who are we supposed to blame IF not the QB? The coach? Dirk called a good game today if you ask me. We had 6 trips inside the red zone but ONLY got 1 TD and plenty is on JW for that. The fumbled snap that was right in his hands (Rhonde mentioned) cost us at least 3 points. Or the pass that Godwin had to reach for that cost us the 4 points that would have won us the game. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t blame it ALL on Jameis, he played a good game. Was it a GREAT game like some of you are claiming? Hell NO!!! One TD is NOT a great game by any means. I have to admit though, 21 of 27 is pretty damn good. He just needed to do just a LITTLE more, that’s all.

  121. DB55 Says:

When you have the lead late in the 4th qrt and just need your 16mil DT to make 1 play I don’t gaf if you scored 3 TDs for the opposing team the ONLY THING THAT MATTERs IS KEEPING THEM OUT THE ENDZONE!!!!

  122. DB55 Says:

    Stinky

Godwin dropped a TD in the endzone. You want jameis to catch it for him too?

  123. Mike Evans GOAT Says:

Winston has been better than Dak this year, but u don’t see any1 saying he is a bust.
We collectively have the stupidest fans in the league. I feel bad for this team, because they deserve sooo much better. The fans on the other hand are literally the worst in the league. Browns fans are better than u bums!

  124. loggedontosay Says:

Thank you very much. I am quite the intellect, but what are you talking about?

  125. Roy T. Buford Says:

So, DB55 Racist 55: “I’d like to vomit in your face, is that possible? Are you really that stupid or did mommy and daddy raise you to hate “fumblers.” Do you really want to? Does this blog mean that much to you. Maybe Joe could you do it ceremoniously.

    and…

DB 55 says: “Truth is they mad a black man winning on and off the field. And as to your perceived proper European etiquette and rules of proper behavior, hear me now, FCK YOUR ETTIQUETTE!!!!”

No, I just prefer my QB not turn it over three times per game. I prefer he not show up in being accusd of sex crimes in his first off season in the NFL.

Other than that. I’m good with Jameis.

  126. Wausa Says:

Jamies is playing at an incredibly high level yet when he has a substandard line, the worst running backs in the NFL and arguably the worst defense in the NFL around him we are supposed to believe its his fault the Bucs lost.
    OK got it.

THE Bucs got rid of three QB’s that won Super Bowls with other teams. Yet this is the best QB by far the franchise has ever had and there are idiots on here that want the Bucs to get rid of him.
    Totally bizarre!

  127. JimmyJack Says:

DB55……In all McCoys years he has never made one play(sorry his one battled ball don’t count) in a clutch moment.

Just forget about McCoy it ain’t never going to happen. He’s not a game changer and never will be. The moment we can get a real game changer on that line will be the moment this franchise can get serious about contending.

  128. loggedontosay Says:

    Big stink,

If Winston does any more you will have to call him black jesus.

  129. Season Is Over Says:

Gruden would suspend America’s Present Laughingstock, Investigated, Losing, Fumbling, Captain of Immaturity and Sportsmanship, Only Seen in Local Markets, Backed into Pro Bowler Because Three Others Backed Out and Never Returned, Rarely Hits a Receiver In Stride, Prayer Throwing, Peyton Manning, W eating, Mr. Magoo aka Jameis Winston for the next game.

  130. T Syce Says:

Joe. Read the comments. Ur hurting ur credibility. Ur comments about Winston are ridiculous. It’s time for u guys to break up

  131. loggedontosay Says:

    Roy T Buferd,

I knew one of you would break and show your true colors. Lol! GOOG JOB.

  132. Lakeland Says:

This team is exactly what I thought they were coming into the season.

    Garbage

    Horrible

    Terrible

    Dysfunctional

  133. Lakeland Says:

And I’m not only referring to the players.
    I’m also referring to the:

    Owners

    Coaches

    GM

  134. loggedontosay Says:

    Season is over,

Make one intelligent post. It is okay if it is critical of Winston. Just one!

  135. Lakeland Says:

    Goodbye Tampa Bay Succaneers

    Enjoy your Top-5 draft pick

  136. JimmyJack Says:

Look it’s fine to blame Winston. He is the QB after all. If your defending Winston you need to wake up and realize the QB always takes a brunt of the blame for losses. Always been tha5 way always will. Heck I remember Brady being called “washed up” a few years back when they started slow. Every player on the team needs to be accountable and it starts with the QB first. He had 3 fumbles today, clearly he could have done more.

Now for the Winston bathers you need to be fair to the rest of the culprits from today’s game……..The Oline was horrendous today and should evade no blame. They didn’t do their job on two of those fumbles. And they flat out sucked today allowing six frighten sacks……Winston was caught constantly having to duck and evade lineman all day.

And what about Dirk? How stupid is this guy? Why did he think our deep drop, long developing, passes would work against Carolina? The same thing(Line was actually worse in that one) happened last time we played them?…….The result was awful Line play and QB mistakes………Why in the world does this guy refuse to adjust? Why does his game plan allow another’s team strength to be exploited?………..They stared the game as the #3 sack team. They are probably #1-2 now………This was a game where our defense held them in check all day long so your entire playbook is open. There was now reason to set our QB into a deep pocket all day and allow the Panthers to tee off on us. Again we entered another game unprepared. Dirk is one of the poorest offensive game planners I have ever seen. Lovie Smith actually had a better game plan then this moron……..This guy sucks to high heavens.

  137. Dex Says:

Winston played amazing..took to many hits so I’m passed the fumbles.Im so amazed by people on here what their saying about him.The O line was so bad..our backups aren’t really backups!!The Bucs need to spend some money this off season!

  138. Baker Mayfield Says:

DB55 is always on McCoy, It must be because he’s black. Racist Much ?

  139. Big Stinky Says:

Can’t believe people are blaming Dirk for this loss. That’s too funny! His playcalling got us in the red zone 6 times and we had a shot at a 51 yard FG too, yet we ONLY scored 19 points. Come on man! Are we REALLY going to fire another HC after just 2 years? I am seriously about to become an Eagles fan. No BS!!! You guys are a joke!!! And so are the Glazers!!! How many PPG did Gruden average? Not much more than 20 I bet. And he NEVER had a QB in TAMPA that had five 300+ yard games. Dirk deserves another year! Stop the MADNESS!!!

  140. JimmyJack Says:

And that’s pretty freaking sad when ole Lovie Smith’s offense looks better then your……..And the only players Dirk has that are different have doles more in the talent dept……..Get me a break with this team. They are going nowhere with Dirk.

His offense has been pure sh!t for two years. They won’t ever get better with this guy calling the shots.

  141. Big Stinky Says:

    @loggedontosay

If I were Jesus you would go to Hell for that remark. Jameis is NOT your LORD and Saviour!!!

  142. JimmyJack Says:

Big Stinky……..Can you really tell me anything good that Dirk has done for this offense?

And I don’t personally know all the motives behind the hire but it’s a pretty safe assumption to say he was hired to get production on that side of the ball.

Why exactly should he get another year when he hasn’t produced any results in two full seasons? Where has he shown any hope?

  143. Big Stinky Says:

    @DB55

No knucklehead!!! I expect JW to put it on the NUMBERS!!! That way if Godwin drops it we can blame him instead of Winston. It’s simple!!! We just see it different ways Brother!!!

  144. Big Stinky Says:

    @JimmyJack

I think Dirk has worked wonders with Winston! He was terrible the last 2 years and I might even buy a JW jersey next year if he continues to progress. Then again, I may buy a Wentz jersey next year if Koetter is fired. I am getting tired of this chit. Every 2 years we get rid of another coach because Buccaneer fans start bitching. It’s getting old!!!

  145. Dan Says:

You absolutely can and should blame Jameis. He had the ball in his hand twice to win the game and couldn’t close. In fact he gave the ball away. He’s just not a winning qb. I so badly wish he was.

  146. Big Stinky Says:

We could be 10-5 if Winston played just a LITTLE better this year. I bet Shawn King would have won a couple of those close games. He was awesome in the 4th quarter. I bet he had more game winning drives than Winston. What’s that stat NFLNut?

  147. JimmyJack Says:

Yeah well I don’t think the owners are firing coaches because of fans. I think it has more to do with losing.

We can just agree to disagree about Winston. I think the guy has a lot of talent and that would be evident with any coach.

I also think the sake of one player is a poor reason to keep a HC when his offense can’t score points and get leads and his defense is completely indecuate. There were expectations that came with his hire and the team looks further from those goals then when he started.

While the progression of the QB is a debate Dirks offense as a unit have achieved no success at all. Not last year not this.

  148. BuccaneEric75 Says:

Can we all just stop with the stupid “ you’re a racist” posts. Posters who are happy with Winston aren’t happy with him because he’s black. Posters who are unhappy with him aren’t unhappy because he’s black. Everyone has different standards for QBs, they love or hate him because of his play, NOT COLOR. I can’t even read these posts without getting mad. I DONT CARE WHO IS CALLING WHO RACIST, WHITE OR BLACK, JUST STOP. NO ONE ON THIS SITE IS ROOTING FOR WINSTON TO FAIL BECAUSE HE’S BLACK. Everyone has opinions about his play, but it has NOTHING to do skin color. Just stop.

  149. NFLNut Says:

    **********************

A healthy Jameis Winston is a SUPERSTAR

Jameis’ 9 healthy games this year:

    Jameis 67.0 comp % – 311.4 pass ypg – 2. TDs – 67. INTs – 108.2 rating

    Brady 67.5 comp % – 292.5 pass ypg – 2.0 TDs – .53 INTs – 104.2 rating

    **********************

  150. Debbie does Tampa Says:

Nflnut! Blah blah blah nobody cares about your stats.

  151. JimmyJack Says:

Sorry Nut. You musta forgot. Our team is pitiful. No stat alive will pretty it up.

Just like any fan base the QB will be blamed some for the losing.

  152. NFLNut Says:

    *****************************

For the Jameis-bashers who don’t care that Jameis played hurt this year and like to pretend that having an injured THROWING shoulder doesn’t have a negative effect on stats, I will list the FULL STATS of various QBs this year:

    Jameis: 65.0 % – 292.2 ypg – 18 TDs – 8 INTs – 96.5 passer rating

    DangerRuss: 61.3% – 250.8 ypg – 32 TDs – 11 INTs – 94.7 passer rating

    Ryan: 64.9% – 251.9 ypg – 19 TDs – 12 INTs – 91.5 passer rating

    Carr: 63.1% – 249.0 ypg – 20 TDs – 10 INTs – 88.4 passer rating

    Dak: 63.3% – 209.7 ypg – 21 TDs – 13 INTs – 86.7 passer rating

    Newton: 60.5% – 208.1 ypg – 21 TDs – 13 INTs – 84.3 passer rating

    Mariota: 62.3% – 229.5 ypg – 12 TDs – 15 INTs – 78.6 passer rating

SO HATERS … even with ALL of Jameis’ games included, including the ones where he played hurt, you can see that he is having a better year than ALL of the above QBs including the past two NFL MVP’s, Russell Wilson and the like.

Jameis is 2nd on the above list to ONLY Matt Ryan in completion percentage, leads everyone in passing yards per game and has a higher passer rating than ALL of the above QBs as well.

Jameis Winston has been ELITE this year and when healthy is a bonafide SUPERSTAR, period.

    *****************************

  153. NFLNut Says:

JimmyJack … I don’t care what the TEAM record is as it makes no difference when evaluating individual players. The fact is the Bucs have a 23 year old that is ALREADY ELITE and when he’s healthy is a legit SUPERSTAR … they also have a great young LB core, a great young receiving core and a couple good young offensive lineman and one good young safety … they aren’t that far away as a TEAM, they just need a couple legit pass rushers, at least one new starting level CB, a new starting level SS … and at least one new starting level offensive lineman … that may sound like a lot but considering we are in line for the 4th pick in each round and can probably sign at least two of those “needs” in free agency, it’s very doable.

I believe Licht can fill ALL of those holes this offseason and if he can do that AND bring Chucky or Arians or Harbaugh in … we’re good to go.

  154. NFLNut Says:

I actually made a mistake in the above post when I said Jameis was 2nd to only Matt Ryan in completion percentage … Jameis actually is BETTER than Matt Ryan (65.0 – 64.9%).

So … of that list of QBs whose stats I listed, Jameis is #1 in completion percentage, #1 in yards per game and #1 in passer rating … all while playing much of the year with an injured throwing shoulder! The kid is a elite and only a biased loon can deny that!

  155. Big Stinky Says:

    @NFLNut

Those cherry-picked stats are why you gave me chit yesterday, huh? I bet you included the Buffalo game and he played hurt. Give it up man!!! He has ONLY won 2 games this year and his QBR was 42.5 (which was 25th in the league) before the Atlanta game. AVERAGE AT BEST!!! Not a superstar like you claim.

  156. cmurda Says:

Nobody is justifying JW loses his cool. The fact is that young man plays with passion and 21 of 27 passes for 367 and 1 TD which should have been 22 of 27 for 2 TD’s says that this man wants to win. He obviously needs to watch himself and conduct himself as a professional but it was actually humbling to see some passion and frustration from JW. The fans have been frustrated and you are crazy to condemn a guy for being angry after losing especially when the anger is directed at another ridiculous officiating blunder. I think I just saw a premeditated flag come out for the Saints game for a phantom offensive PI by M.E.

  157. NFLNut Says:

    ^ BIGSTINKY …

I posted the ALL-INCLUSIVE STATS … which include ALL his games … and guess, what he BLOWS RYAN, NEWTON, WILSON, MARIOTA, DAK, CARR OUT OF THE WATER EVEN WITH HIS HURT GAMES INCLUDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  158. JimmyJack Says:

Nut, It’s not the point whether you care or not…..Fact is that QBs will always take part of blame their teams are losing. Call it what you will but that’s just the way it has and will always be for many fans.

But the winning does come involved when you call him elite. Yes, he’s shown elite level in his play but he won’t ever be considered elite til he gets a few playoff runs under his belt.

Name me one elite QB that’s never been to the playoffs? I rest my case.

  159. Big Stinky Says:

Wilson’s stats look better if you ask me Brother

  160. Big Stinky Says:

And he ALMOST has Seattle in the Playoffs!

  161. Big Stinky Says:

Wilson has also NEVER missed the Playoffs (so far)

  162. NFLNut Says:

    Big Stinky,

I’m a huge DangerRuss fan … but Jameis has a higher completion percentage, a ton more yards per game and a better passer rating … and he’s played much of the year with a hurt throwing shoulder. I’d take Jameis “going forward” over Russ any day of the week, that’s for sure.

However … just like Jameis, Russell has a bad O-line and no running game to lean on which is a shame.

  163. satchseven Says:

BucEric75 do you think people are stupid, some of the over the mess that is pointed at jw3 is racially motivated bs. i live in seattle you have haters here who cannot wait to pounce on the black players in the comment section. russell wilson make a mistake they come out with their slick talk like roy t buford

  164. NFLNut Says:

    JimmyJack,

You’re right that the media won’t consider Jameis “elite” till he gets in the playoffs but I don’t care about the media … JW is elite right now whether they want to admit it or not.

There are HOF QBs that never won a single ring or even made it to a single Super Bowl … and HOF QB that retired with a losing career record … to me, that’s the same thing as knowing a guy is elite without making a playoff run yet, and JW is elite.

This TEAM has a ton of holes to fill, no doubt about it.

  165. NFLNut Says:

Today was a good example of why wins are NOT a QB stat as well. Jameis more than DOUBLED Cam Newton’s passer rating AND his QB rating (which takes fumbles into account) … and yet the Panthers won the game.

Everyone needs to understand that football is sincerely “the ultimate TEAM sport” and wins and losses are a TEAM stat and NEVER an individual player stat.

I honestly think that pretty much everyone on this forum understands that, as I really can’t imagine there is anyone who watches football that wouldn’t understand that … but a lot of folks on this site have deep biases …

  166. JimmyJack Says:

Yeah well nut, Winston had three turnovers. Cam had none. That’s a big difference. Also why folks are blaming him. That’s their prerogative.

Heck I’m sitting here blaming Dirk above all others, that’s my perrogritive. Even though I saw an Oline get destroyed today, a QB fumble twice, special team blow a kickoff and a defense that, AGAIN, is purely incapable of closing out a game……..Oh and a WR le5 a TD slip through his hands and a kicker miss a 3pointer.

There’s tons of things to blame you can’t expect everybody to see eye to eye. It’s basic football knowledge that the HC and QB are going to take the brunt when it comes to the blame game. And were just fans so it ain’t got to be fair. It ain’t gotta be right either.

  167. Big Stinky Says:

    @NFLNut

Thanks for the Rivers stat BTW. Can’t remember where I heard JW and Fitzy were No.1 and No.2 in INT’s. Did anyone else have more than 18 or do you know?

  168. Duke Says:

    Big stinky,

Shawn king would have eaten Jameis Winston . Lol

I don’t buy in to the fan boy love nor the haters. The off field stuff, (list) could not care less. The fact is that JW has been excellent the last month or so.

The # of W’ s isn’t a number of Winston’ s it’s the number of team wins. Team
Wins. If the team is all Winston then ………… I don’t know another QB who has improved so much on a team that regressed as much as the bucs.
Bottles, Wentz, Goff…..improved w the team. Mariotta, declining as the team improves. JW rising in a sinking ship.

As far as national media mocking our QB, you should not worry. National media
mocks anyone living in Florida unless they’re retired . Jameis Winston isn’t hurting your national image no matter how many letters he licks next week.

  169. JimmyJack Says:

Point is you’re not going to convince anybody he is elite. That will only be proven on the field with winning.

I for one believe he has the ability but needs to prove it over time. At some point he will have to start winning.

As I said name me one elite QB that’s never been to the playoffs? I already know the answer is none. For the record, I believe he will prove his elite status, and hopefully soon.

Remember we do live in an instant gratification society.

  170. NFLNut Says:

JimmyJack … WELL SAID and I agree with you 100%

BigStinky … Last year Rivers threw 21, Jameis threw 18 and Fitz threw 17, so Jameis was #2 … however Jameis was #4 in INT % which is a more important stat … Fitz was #1, Rivers was #2 and Case Keenum was #3 …

  171. NFLNut Says:

Duke … quality post man … that had me laughing and yet you were spot-on!

  172. LovieBall Says:

You people keep quoting ESPN’s QBR as a legit stat. So many stupid fans we have.

  173. NFLNut Says:

^ QBR is a nice comprehensive stat … the problem with it is that it is only a game-by game stat rather than a season stat … what I mean is if a QB has a “1” QBR one game that he throws just 10 passes and then has a perfect “100” QBR in a second game in which he throws 50 passes, rather than weighting that game 5x higher than the first, the QBR just weights them the exact same and says the QB now has a 50.5 QBR … that’s stupid.

  174. NFLNut Says:

QBR is a great “game stat” … it’s just not a legit “season stat”.

  175. The Anomaly Says:

    THREE TURNOVERS. (insert excuse here).

You don’t win many games with 3 TOs.

I went to dinner with some very lovely white women and come back to see that some of you got a little beside yourselves. Big stink there is no god. Regardless of what you believe there is no god.

  177. The Anomaly Says:

    Never mistake effort for results.

    JW is a turnover machine.

I’ll ask anyone what the winning % is for teams with three turnovers…I bet it is low.

Stop making excuses for the guy. It’s been happening for 5 freaking years.

At some point…it is his fault.

    Dude needs to grow up.

  178. Reach87 Says:

Winston didn’t lose this game. Morons. Fumbles didn’t lose it. Tantrum didn’t lose it. Both are bad. Neither lost the game. Missed 51 yard FG and penalty in the goal line sealed our fate. Go Bucs!

  179. Eric Says:

Only stats that really matter are 2-11 season record and 17-27 carrer record. Yeah he’s elite alright! Lol Stupid Semen holes see things that aren’t real.

  180. Eric Says:

Im sure Winston appreciates your warming lips when his nutz are cold NFL nut warmer!

  181. Wausa Says:

    Hey dumbass

Jamies is ranked in the top 10 in passer rating with a 96.5 this season.
