Broken Bucs?

March 14th, 2015

lovie 0322“Chris Conte’s litany of health problems last season reads like an entire team’s injury report — right shoulder, concussion, left shoulder, another concussion, right shoulder again, right eye and back.”

That’s how a recent Chicago Tribune feature on new Bucs safety Chris Conte begins.

It’s a great read by writer Rich Campbell, and Joe suggests you check it out.

Conte long has been known for his warrior mentality and for sacrificing his body, except his body hasn’t cooperated. Conte referenced in his press conference at One Buc Palace that he’s got a fresh goal for 2015: “just being a smarter football player about the way I hit people.”

The Tribune feature shares a new neck exercise Conte performs to, hopefully, avoid concussions.

Henry Melton, the former Bears and Cowboys defensive tackle signed last week, also was a player struggling to stay healthy last year.

Joe’s been reading everything under the sun about Melton’s time in Dallas last year, and while returning from ACL surgery in 2014, Melton had a bad groin, hamstring and a new knee injury.

His play — and playing time — nosedived in the second half of last season, to the point that many thought he’d be deactivated on game day. But he still found five sacks in a part-time role, though none since Week 9.

Joe is not blasting the signings of Melton and Conte. They look like excellent depth signings. A team, especially a 2-14 team, must take chances on talented, young players. The Bucs don’t have much money invested in these two, and they don’t have to be starters.

For now, Joe’s just going to keep his fingers crossed that both make it through training camp in one piece.

    Doesnt sound good..

  2. BucPuck Says:

I didnt know much of Conte, so I as my buddy who is a big Bears fan, “Did you hear the Bucs signed Conte?” He then replied, “Yes he is gone!” Apparently he thought Conte was terrible and costed them several games. That he takes bad angles and doesnt tackle well.

Maybe they will keep Goldson and have competition to see who makes the team? My concern, as with many, is that we have not signed any lineman or pass rushers. They dont have to be top free agents, but at least some depth.

  3. See Below Says:

I have you looked at this roster? Sheesh!

Gotta be the ugliest roster in Tampa since ’76 & the 80’s. Hell even the 80’s had more than 3 team-chosen 1st rounders.

We have 8 picks in this draft and possibly an additional 3rd rounder in return for a Glennon trade, we better hit on 5 legitimate starters or we’re in for another horrible season – none of that Charles Sims type drafting in the 3rd round.

Jameis & Evans can only do so much alone.

  4. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Not concerned…..you do realize that Goldson hasn’t been cut….yet….and there are many FA safeties still unsigned,

Conte may be competing for a roster spot with Keith Tandy….or simply be depth/special teams….perhaps compete to start….but way too soon to determine.

  5. tmaxcon Says:

Conte is terrible. Chicago Bears are laughing their arses off. Hell they are still laughing the bucs signed Lovie

  6. Flmike Says:

    Ready for the suck…

  7. BucPuck Says:

    Has Wisnewski been signed yet?

  8. Bill Says:

This team, somehow, looks worse than before free agency. At best, they look comparable.

  9. OB Says:

When you have a 2-14 record, you are broken and so is the HC who lead you there.

  10. Bird Says:

Let s get something straight. Jason licht is not responsible for FAs last year or this year. Lovie is calling the shots clearly . Conte, Melton. ,Irving (because of kudos from buddy marinelli) and they want to sign slot db from Cowboys as well -thanks to recommendation from buddy marinelli. It reminds me so much of Gruden situation. Great coach who was terrible talent evaluator. Maybe licht handles some of the draft but that may be it. I mean licht wasn’t even in the building when some of these players had their contacts/pressers. He was at mariota pro day. Lovie has too much power and will cripple bucs while he is here. They cut Michael Johnson which I am fine with but what is back up plan. Who is the edge rusher in this tampa 2 that is necessary. All quality edge rushers gone except Hardy. And then , they have not pursued any oline to date. (They need to sign RT barksdale from Rams and RG blalock from Atlanta who is familiar with koetter s system.). This is a travesty what is going on here. You can only hope to hit on so many starters in the draft.

  11. Harry Says:

It’s really freaking me out a little we have made zero moves for the Oline. If we didn’t have a coach who has a history of putting together the worst Olines in the NFL, it wouldn’t concern me. But that is who we have running the show

  12. tmaxcon Says:

Lovie is going to destroy bucs like He did Chicago. Bears are still suffering from bad Lovie personnel moves two years later. He isn’t even a great coach. Stubborn fool. Being nice isn’t good enough

  13. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

    Depth?

Hell Lovie started Jenkins over Banks last season.

McCown was the anointed starter before TC….

    Should I go on?

These guys are starters in Lovie’s mind. Stop talking depth.

  14. BucPuck Says:

Bird I hate to say it, but I am starting to think your logic is right. The #1 thing Lovie was criticized for in Chicago was never having an o line. What is the #1 thing we need here? An O FREAKING LINE!

How does he not see this?

    Has Wisnewski been signed yet?

No, but reports are that Carrol wants to sign him.l

  16. BFFL Says:

Let’s hope the defense continues to improve on how they played in the 2nd half of the season and that Koetter makes a difference. But I agree this team looks weak on paper.

  17. BirdDoggers Says:

The Bucs need depth and both Melton and Conte know the defense. The main thing is the Bucs didn’t invest a lot but the return could be good. I don’t think they’ll rely on Conte as the starter as the safety. It’s not a gurantee he makes the 53 man roster, although he likely will as long as he’s healthy.

  18. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    @87

How can Lovie be such a bad talent evaluator and draft Winston….the best prospect since Bart Star?…..

    Lovie knows QBs

  19. Tampabaybucfan Says:

I agree that Lovie is completely controlling the draft….

If Moore is signed…all 4 free agents will have ties to Lovie/Marrinelli

And….the reason that Lovie isn’t bringing in any good Olinemen is that he hasn’t had any and doesn’t know any….

  20. Bucfan4life Says:

@See Below and @buck puck this is down right scary what is going on. This team looks scary bad. With no depth and very little talent at DE they let go of both Claiyborn and Johnson. They both were disappointments but they were at least warm bodies. Are they not planning to use DEs next year? Everyone is saying The Hawk is gone, so we will be left with former practice squad guys and a guy that may need to be pushed onto the field in a wheel chair at safety. On top of that there has been nothing done to address the O-line which is the weakest part of the team. Somehow a 2-14 has managed to become much worse in the off season. The only good news is that we have an excellent chance to get the number one pick in 2016!!!

  21. tmaxcon Says:

    TBBF

You need to hope that Jameis is the chosen one to cure Lovie’s fear of scoring. Hate Jameis if you must, but there is no justifying or making excuses for the Pathetic job Lovie has been doing. His mission is clear. Give every washed up ex player one last paycheck before he heads back to the Basement permanently

  22. Barry Says:

You gotta trust the people at OBP. They do know more than outsiders.

  23. See Below Says:

Definitely gonna chnage, but how much?

    QB Glennon or Winston
    RB Martin
    FB Lane
    WR Evans
    WR VJax
    TE ASJ
    LT Edwards/Rookie?
    LG Mankins
    C EDS
    RG Omameh/Rookie?
    RT Dotson

    LE English/Rookie?
    RE Smith/Rookie?
    DT McCoy
    DT McDonald
    WILL LVD
    Mike Carter
    Sam Lansanah
    CB Verner
    CB Banks
    FS Goldson/Rookie?
    SS McDougald

    Ouch!!!

  24. tmaxcon Says:

    See below

That’s just brutal. Hard to digest so early in the morning. Visual aids don’t lie that list is very telling

  25. mac Says:

Maybe the Bucs should bring back Mark Dominik as a special consultant… He can help any team achieve the number one overall pick…

  26. ufcguy Says:

Lovie smith is definitely behind this garbage. As a bucs fan since 1980 I dont think ive seen someone so stubborn when he clearly has gaping holes. Remember last year he decided to not name a starter on oline. Guess what hes gonna do it again. Mark my words. You will see him absolutely have no edge rusher and no line and give the same bullshit answer about coaching and playing better. Tbh I can se him getting fired midseasson or right at the end . I dont believe he doesn’t have his dirty hands on everything and is letting the coaches coach. The proofs there. He needs to be fired and jason given full control and find a head coach who isn’t gonna sit on his thumbs at the end of games. Watch our offense this year. ..if it looks anything similar to Atlanta ill be shocked. He probably handed dirk the playbook from last year lol

  27. Dick2111 Says:

Far as I can see, we’ve got only 2 LBs on our roster with any significant starting time in the NFL: David and Carter. Lansanah got in there last year and has promise, and Williams has started a few games, but the reality is that the Bucs have relatively little experience (and depth) at LB.

I’d be in favor of us re-signing Mason Foster (if he stays available) to a 1-2 year contract to provide competition at LB and for depth.

Also would love to see us still draft a MLB, probably in the 4th round at the earliest (OL and DE should be higher priorities I would think).

Of course, given the Bucs drafting prowess, it’s anyone’s guess who we’ll draft in what round.

  28. See Below Says:

    @bucfan4life,

I am 100% okay with the releases of Collins, Johnson, Goldson (possibly) and the non resignings of Clayborne and Bowers.

There’s no reason to keep bad or indifferent players clogging holes on a bad team. It prevents guys like Jaq Smith from getting the chance to EARN his keep.

We are gonna be younger than Youngry in 2015 fellas.

  29. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    @Tmaxcon

    I don’t hate Winston….to the contrary…I find him very likeable…..

Dominick destroyed the Bucs with his drafts and FA fiascos with Revis & Goldson.

Schiano was our best talent evaluator….

I am hopeful that our draft class last year turns out better than expected…

ASJ, Sims, Pamphile & Edwards……especially the Olinemen

  30. gatorbuc Says:

I have been trying to be patient and continually tell myself that the guys that get paid to make decisions will do the right thing. I am starting to lose my patience. This is just awesome. Every Bears fan I talk to is SOOOO happy that Conte is gone. They are laughing their collective a$$es off. Not ONE OL signed and all the Decent ones are gone. I feel TRULY sorry for whatever QB they draft

  31. gatorbuc Says:

    Mornin TBBF.
You should know by now that you cant tell Tmaxcon diddly squat when it comes to Winston.

  32. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

TBBF..do I have to keep answering that question every day?

The first pick won’t be Lovie’s pick. To me he has no say so in the matter.

The Glazers on the other hand….not great talent evaluators will make the pick.

  33. gatorbuc Says:

87…………I think you better hope that you are wrong.
If it is strictly the Glazer’s choice I feel they will take Mariota

  34. Bucfan4life Says:

@87 and @see below that is what I have been saying. That is the same least I have been seeing and that means we need to draft 6 players that can start on day 1!!!! Even if they hit home runs with with all 6 picks (lmao) that would still leave 3 or 4 below average guys in the starting lineup. There is zero depth either way but no worries, very few players in the NFL miss time due to injuries. Rather than rebuilding this team is regressing!

  35. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    87

You missed the good answer opportunity, so I’ll give it to you…

Winston is so good he is a no-brainer at #1….so it is logical that a coach without a brain could still pick him….

  36. tmaxcon Says:

    Gatorbuc

I’m guilty as charged. I have unconditional love for Winston and unconditional hate for Lovie the king, gm and coach. Other than that I’m very open minded and agreeable. I just want one more winning season before I am fertilizer. Lovie is not the best chance for that but Winston is. Simple really

  37. Tom Edrington Says:

I hear that Lovie and Licht will buy fancy cars that don’t run……..lol

  38. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Licht seems to be getting off the hook with fans & the press..

He has a very likeable manner and it’s difficult to challenge….but the press needs to start challenging him.

We have a bundle of cash and haven’t signed a legitimate starter at either Oline or DE (the two positions we struck out in FA last year)

It’s too early to call it over…..but the clock is certainly ticking

  39. gatorbuc Says:

Tmax…..notice I didn’t just say ” you cant tell Tmax anything”
I added Winston to that equation on purpose.

  40. See Below Says:

By looking at the list I posted above, it certainly seems the Bucs will draft Winston (hopefully) and then select OL & DE with the rest of our premium selections (1, 34, 67, 106) in order of BPA@Need+Value.

Also must consider that a Glennon trade may yield an additional premium pick in the 3rd-4th round.

Assuming Goldson returns, our Starting Defense is set for 2015 outside of DE. So it seems fairly easy to predict the unpredictable.

  41. bucrightoff Says:

The thing that’s most annoying is Lovie clearly learned nothing from Chicago, otherwise why is he doing pretty much all the same things that got him fired in the first place? Like I haven’t seen any change at all from his time in Chicago, a time that can best be described as mediocre.

This is why I’d prefer Lovie not be involved in a QB decision, he’s proven to be an extremely poor talent evaluator, and of QBs in particular one of the worst evaluators ever. Should have fired him after 2-14 and gone with an offensive head coach. Of course should have never hired him in the first place, but the Glazers wanted to play it safe. This is what playing it safe gets you, a safe, boring, uninteresting team. But at least the coach isn’t a dick and the team isn’t an embarrassment off the field (just on it).

  42. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

Gatorbuc…that’s assuming the Glazers are all that snooty. I don’t think they are, and considering everyone that’s ever been around Jameis loves his personality, I think he did well with the Glazers.

  43. bucrightoff Says:

And where is Glennon getting traded by the way? The only teams that would trade for him now are teams looking for a backup, which means 5th-6th round pick at best. And since we need a good backup anyway, why trade him for a low pick?

Market for Glennon is dead. He’s the opening day starter next year. Cleveland, Houston, the Jets all got veteran QBs for their younger guys. Glennon has nowhere to be traded where he can start.

  44. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

I look at it this way…the free agent pool really sucked this year. Lovie and Licht could have done a repeat of last year, overspent and went after guys that cost too much and gave no results.

    They didn’t.

They are addressing depth, hoping for gold, but only signing one year deals so they are not trapped into anything.

They know they only have so many picks this year. They know they need to build through the draft. So they are plugging holes, buying time.

Meanwhile, they’ll fill some needs in the draft this year and next.

  45. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

Perhaps the Glazers are pulling a Raheem on Lovie and locking up the vault of money after last seasons fiasco?

  46. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    @gatorbuc

You change your name again?…….If you’re trying to hide from Joe….that won’t work. He has a Montana bias.

  47. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

Carter will not be the MLB.

  48. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

You guys act like the roster should be fixed by now. It shouldn’t. We have lots of time left.

  49. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

Makes me wonder what would have happened if Raheem was allowed to spend…

  50. Tampabaybucfan Says:

We have got to get some production from Pamphile & Edwards……and they may be our “default” fix to our Oline….surely they were chosen because of their potential….but we can’t draft Olinemen and develop them for 3 or 4 years before starting.
There will still be some pretty decent cap casualties out there for us….so, I’m not panicing yet.
Last year we splashed in FA and everyone was excited and look how that turned out.

  51. ddneast Says:

It really doesn’t matter if Conte is terrible, which I don’t think he is, the guy is still an upgrade over the primma donna we currently have in that situation whomhasmalso sate out several games due to injury.
Once Goldson got his grubby hands on some money, he got to good to make tackles and cover. He was like way to kewl to get involved in that childish football stuff.
He even used his injuries as an excuse for his poor play on the radio show that Joe is so in love with.
I’m pretty much over this guy and his lackadaisical effort. NFL network showed a clip of him hitting Steve Jackson in the backfield when Jackson was running sideways and bouncing off him during our drubbing in Atlanta last year. I’m sure Lovie has seen this clip and the memory of it it still etched and searing in his mind.
    The guy is a bum.

  52. tmaxcon Says:

    Winston first pick

Got to hope a tackle drops or a run at another position that drops a ot in second or even go up a few spots toss 8 in to reduce price.

BTW, I thought gm’s were lining up for glennon… Every team would take him I think was said. A lot of scrubs traded. He clearly is not in bucs plans

Gambling on anything more than 3 starters in draft is unrealistic

  53. gatorbuc Says:

@87………Yeah. I dont know why Joe pays so much attention to me. Im UnBannable now so. All he can do is keep erasing what I say after I say it. I really think it is tiring. And NO Im not going to tell you how I did it.
Well fellas my lead trim guy is sick so I have to go build cabinets all day. This Hotel has to open on time or no bonus for me.
Peace out guys and keep up the Buc fight

  54. rayjay1122 Says:

Broken Bucs is a fitting title. They certainty are broken and getting more broken every day. Nothing exciting so far in free agency and I expect a lack luster draft. We may select Winston and that is fine. I like Mariota a little more but not getting stuck with the Bucs will probably be a gift. If we win with Winston then he will be the best QB of all time because this team has really become a joke. Hate to be so negative but until I see something to show some promise of returning to relevance, negativity seems like a pretty normal state of mind when talking about the Bucs.

  55. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    @ddneast

Joe calls him the Hawk….I call him the “Squawk”…..because he was all talk…..

  56. gatorbuc Says:

    Sorry. 87. I misread I meant TBBF

  57. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    @Bonzai

The biggest mistake for Lovie & Licht was coming in with a “Win Now” pitch…..Buc fans shouldn’t be patient….message.
They didn’t have to do that because it was obvious that Dominick left us with a disasterous roster.

This is going to take 2 or 3 more years to turn around….we have some core players….and some good pickups…..like McDougald, Lansanah, Smith…..hopefully we will find some more this year.

Makes me wonder what would have happened if Raheem was allowed to spend…
    _____________________________________________________________

No doubt. I mean that 10 win season, no matter how weak the schedule they played was, is a borderline miracle. I mean that roster in 2010 was worse than either 2013 or 2014, and Raheem got 4 more wins than Schiano and Lovie combined.

Not saying Raheem is great, but after not seeing anything from Schiano or Lovie with the Glazers breaking the bank for them, Raheem couldn’t have been much worse.

  59. ddneast Says:

Barry, you are not going to convince these fat overweight ex Pop Warner football players of your theory.
Didn’t you know hustling fries, stocking shelves at Winn Dixie and driving packages all around town made them shrewd NFL qualified GM’s.
Watch the movie “Lone Star” where a bipolar Francis McDormand is rattling off playiers stats and attributes to her bemused ex husband Chris Cooper and you get a real good idea of who all these renowned experts and Lovie haters are.

  61. Martinii Says:

Wonderful! Its so heartwarming to know that we selected not only level “B” players, but injury prone level “B” players. I read an article this morning that showed the top three remaining free agents by position and Foster, Johnson, Collins, and Bowers were included. Clayborn and McCown have already signed. Who is running the Asylum at One Buc Palace? Two walking wounded and one wait-and-see is all we have so far this season. millions to spend and with the exception of Hardy, no place to spend it. totally depressing………

  62. Zorro Says:

    Let’s think for a momemt . . .
How many teams with reliable OL personnel will draft OL in the 1st or 2nd round?
How many of those teams will then release some reliable OL personnel?
How many of those reliable OL will be available well before training camp?
    Whatcha think guys?

  63. Tampabaybucfan Says:

I am starting to get so concerned by our lack of pass rush, running game & Oline pass protection that I actually am starting to not care who we pick at QB.

Sure, I favor Mariota….but we have so many other problems to fix that either QB will need time to develop.

I realize this comment will take a lot of heat….but I think the best thing we can do is to start Glennon…let the rookie learn/develop….at least he won’t turn the ball over too much….and perhaps our defense (which I think will be better) can win us some close games.

  64. Skyline Crew Says:

Is Schaub still available? Might not be a bad veteran QB to get. I seriously doubt it will happen though.

  65. Tampabaybucfan Says:

The best thing that has happend to the Bucs in the off-season is Dirk Koetter…..

  66. Skyline Crew Says:

Our team won’t be fixed in a year. It took Dallas three years of drafting to get the O-line they have.

  67. tmaxcon Says:

What has Lovie done right… I’ll give you Evans but Please one thing… Don’t give him credit for fixing his own mistakes either. He is a nice guy.. So what. His job is to win not make excuses.

I’m convinced Barry is Mike Glennon and ddnest is Mikal Smith

  68. tmaxcon Says:

    Tampabaybucfan

I’m no Glennon guy but you maybe right. Whoever, Winston preferably is behind center will be killed. I’d rather glennon take the beating than our future winning qb.

  69. Bucco bruce Says:

QB-LT-DE …1-2-3 in draft….sign wiz for OL and things will look better…..FS and more OL help mid rounds

  70. tmaxcon Says:

    Bruce

Be honest if you were wiz who would you choose Seattle or Bucs… He already left Tampa once. If bucs do sign him they will severely over pay and that sucks too

  71. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

tmaxcon….Wiz seems like a guy they should over pay for at this point.

  72. Bucco bruce Says:

Must be lots of money to do it? Not much left in OL free agency

  73. tmaxcon Says:

    87

At this point you may be correct. Even over paying for a proven Hardy is worth the risk given current roster. Desperate people for desperate things

  74. crazy Says:

and yet this year’s FA signings appear to be an upgrade over the 1’s and 2’s on the roster already. Added depth going into the draft for a new QB and other future pieces seems like a better plan than last year’s futile instant turn-around. Let’s see what the roster looks like this fall.

  75. bucs4lyfe Says:

Good grief give me a break with that nonsense. In how about this signing those guys was better than mark Dominick drafting injury prone guys like Bowers and Clayborn. They weren’t signed to be starters or saviors and the salaries make them easy to cut every in training camp

    TBBF…well then stop thinking then…

  86. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

If Bridgewater got ROY last year…then yes I can see Jameis getting it this year before he even steps out onto the field, providing Lovie stays away from Koetter on game day.

Then your comments are inconsistent…..we won’t be in the cellar….

  88. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

I didn’t say we would be in the cellar. This guy did.

    @TBBF

WTF bro? You say you don’t call out names then you put Ray after your assault on negative comments. Yes I did have one negative post. But I am not any more negative than anyone else on here. Maybe you were not referencing me and I read too much into tlit. You and I have never locked horns and I am not going to start now. Blog wars are for wussies anyways. Disregard if you were not blasting me and if you were….. Well we all are entitled to our opinions. Yes I am down on the Bucs. They are my team and I honestly have no clue what they are doing to improve.

  90. Arealbucsfan Says:

    1st: Winston
    2nd: Arie Kouandijio
    3rd: Damarious Randall, saftey
4th: maybe we should trade back in the 3rd and get Donovan Smith

  91. ddneast Says:

NFL ready, huh, Tmaxcon. I guess you just saw the movie Draft Day and now we are all supposed to be impressed with your hip lingo. LOL.
The only NFL ready QB that has passed through the league in recent years was Andrew Luck and his dad was an NFL QB so that had a lot to do with it.
I’m okay with Jameis, but he is no Andrew Luck. And you sir, are no Kevin Costner from Draft Day. I figure you more for the intern.

  92. ddneast Says:

I’m not against having a battl of ideas and personalities.
But a large number of the people who post out here are usually parroting the same thing time after time and it gets boring and tiresome.
These original ideas usually are as follows:
    Lovie $&/!
    Lovie me/$3
    Lovie and Licht zx2$34
Jameis is a fill in the blanks
I mean really. It just gets so old and unoriginal.
Well one of my framers quit on me so I have to go finish building a 3 story starter castle in Avila today. Gotta go.
    LOL.

    ——————————————————————————–
Nearly all of the posts in this thread point out ALL of the holes still present on the Bucs’ roster. And since I strongly believe that NEITHER Winston or Mariota will develop into the franchise QB of everyone’s dream, then the best move is to spend the enormous draft capital of the 1st pick, not for a single player, but by trying to trade down to get as many picks as possible to fill as many of those holes as possible. This also has an added benefit of several players who will “mature” at approximately the same time in the future, and then adding a few select free agents to fill out the team.

    Wrong Ray…….Ray Rice….

  96. rayjay1122 Says:

No problem. I was self admitted being negative. I want to be positive again like in the late 90s but they just don’t give me much hope. It is better to be angry with them than apathetic though. Anger means we still care.

  97. bucs4lyfe Says:

You Glennon fans are the worst still saying get some pieces around Glennon lol he’s an afterthought to those with sense and a never has been and I guess bucs should just keep going he learns how to be a real quarterback. Lol but go ahead keep the hope because you’ll have no one but yourselves to talk to about him after April 30th, no one here has ever taken you seriously it’ll be worse after the draft

    “@Bonzai

The biggest mistake for Lovie & Licht was coming in with a “Win Now” pitch…..Buc fans shouldn’t be patient…message.”

    That’s a valid point.

Everyone else, though, was saying to have patience.

  99. bucs4lyfe Says:

    @BuccaneerBonzai

I kinda understood where lovie was coming from and alot of lovie haters act as if this is the first year we sucked even though we have ever since chuckys last two years. Dungy put this franchise on the map and this town had a making the playoffs isn’t good enough mentality. We got setback to the 70’s when Dominick took over and after all these horrible years we can’t give lovie two years it’s kinda pathetic that now all of sudden fans know better than him

  100. Skyline Crew Says:

We only have one QB right now. I’m sure we are adding one in the draft..Mariota. However, where are we getting the third from? UFA?
