Joe Mixes It Up With The Big Dog

August 14th, 2013

It’s the new Wednesday tradition, Joe sits down with the dean of Tampa Bay sports radio at 5 p.m. on WDAE-AM 620. All sorts of chatter in the mix today. Remember, Joe hit the airwaves shortly after all the Tom Brady injury news was breaking. Enjoy.

Hyper-over-analyze Davin Joesph staying behind in Tampa. You hit the nail on the head Joe. Which is exactly what you did when you posted the news about it on JBF. Over-analyze is one thing. Throwing in the word hyper is a whole different animal, but hey thanks for the hyper-over-analyzed description in the article. I hope I’m not being too critical of you Joe or you take it the wrong way, but it is what you did. Atleast you acknowledge it with Steve what’s his name again Duemig The Big Dog?

That’s how it goes now I guess. It’s your site so therefore screen things that are typed first. Joe are you a communist?

Don’t you think Joe maybe exaggerating about Davin Joseph’s health a little, maybe he actually did stay behind to legitimately workout. Or maybe the coach gave him a vacation but one things for sure, this chicken little stuff has got to stop. My heart can’t take all the drama. lol

The remark made by Big Dog on Tebow “put him out of his misery” will undoubtedly piss off some Gators.

That was a brilliant assessment by Joe about Carl Nicks situation and great thoughts on how the Bucs will probably handle it in the future.

And then Joe turned around and piled on Demar Dotson. That was an unfair assessment of Demar considering he had began the year as a 3rd team backup. He did better than Trueblood and he was part of an offense that put up 6000 total yards.

This Revis thing, I know Joe is split on this but Big Dog just doesn’t see the risk. He doesn’t need to be in a preseason game to get accustomed to gametime. He’s been having live cover drills in practice. He’s giving that knee a workout. It doesn’t need contact to be ready for game one.
You guys act like he’s been in a full body cast all offseason, and needs to learn to walk again. lol

Let Sanchez throw to Revis’s side. I hope Revis gets 4 pick sixes!

Joe must have his filters at full catch mode. I had commented on segments of the show but when I submitted it apparently disappeared into hyperspace. ..lol

Umm, that appears to have already posted. –Joe

Dotson was better than average last year (ProFootballFocus has him with a +4.9 last year and a +5 in ’11! … they see him as better than Meredith, Larsen AND Joseph based on the last years). I think the deal with Dotson was excellent by the Bucs and I don’t have any reservations about him being our starting RT for years to come (and maybe even LT down the road).

Really don’t get the heat on Dotson last year.
