Really, there are so few open spots left that most of the roster is already set in stone. I put George Johnson in there because he led the team in sacks in the preseason so far…3 or the 13 the team has.

They are showing up because I dug them out of the spam folder.

  11. OAR Says:

    Pete
So, who do you think is making the team, again? LOL!

  12. jvato24 Says:

I guess Brian Price and Al Woods got cut

  13. jvato24 Says:

by the way … Who do you think will make the team ??? lol

  14. Karl Says:

What’s the deal wit Dave Wirth? He seems like a nice guy and Ive always liked him but every time I see him on TV and the camera catches a glimpse of him and he don’t know it He looks miserable or just like a mean person because he always has a cowl on his face.(not on this tape but on many others Ive seen)

  15. Macabee Says:

Pete, Admire your vigor, but too much to comment on. Like woods and Price, Gaitor will make the team, Ahmad Black and Derrell Smith to PS. Give it a another couple of shots, Joe’s got lots of storage capacity!

  16. TrueBlue Says:

So, Miller and Price don’t make the team? Wouldn’t bet on that.

  17. pierat40 Says:

According to that top list, one defensive end spot totally disappeared and some of those guys are now playing DT. Interesting stratedgy Raheem must have to sneak upon the lions…. 😉

  18. Pete Dutcher Says:

    lol…that’s just downright embarrassing! lol.

My RDT and RDEs got jinxed somehow. My end, not Joes.

  19. Pete Dutcher Says:

Here’s the Right Side on defense as it should have shown:

RDT Roy Miller – Brian Price

RDE Adrian Clayborn – Tim Crowder – George Johnson

    Add to cuts
    DT Al Woods

  20. Pete Dutcher Says:

    @Macabee

The problem is the roster space. If you were referring to Brian Price…that was a typo, but if referring to Maurice Price, there just isn’t room.

I think I named 52 of 53 roster spots. Most of the ones I named are locks. Gearge Johnson was possibly the best Defensive End we had in preseason. If they cut him in hte hope he will clear waivers, I”m almost certain a team will claim him.

Either way though…there are only a few roster spots available because of how well the rookies did last year.

Okay, thanks 🙂 Next time instead of trying to get it to post multple times I’ll just mention it might have ended up in the spam folder.

  21. Apple Roof Cleaning Says:

It is so nice to see Dave Wirth mention JoBucsFan readers by name! Congrats Joe,you have worked hard for this recognition, and you deserve it !
Now, if we can get the lovely Heather Van Nest to do a special Morning Cup Of Joe for us:)

  22. Espo Says:

Pete plays like I expect Mason Foster to play this year. He’s going to make a lot of mistakes, but make them at 110%.

Thanks for finally including our other DTs, and moving our DEs back to DE.

  23. Espo Says:

I pretty much agree with Pete’s picks but also think Demar Dotson will make the roster. At the expense of who? Probably Johnson or maybe Alex Magee.

  24. Macabee Says:

We wil rue the day we let George Johnson get away. No DE leading the league in preseason sacks is going to clear waivers. We will see him on sundays with Atlanta who needs DE help or the Saints who just let Alex Brown go. God forbid Detroit adds him to the RE with Suh and Fairley in the middle.
